Chapter 47

Crystal's pov

It has been a week since my identity is revealed and not gonna lie, this whole week was quite chaotic. Like so many things happened. Some good things and some bad things as well. My pics are now everywhere. Be it on television, newspapers or social media.

I have gotten immense amount of love from social media but at the same time I have attracted a lot of critics too. People's are continuously commenting on my features like I'm some kind of mobile phone instead of a human.

Lame joke.

Also a lot of Maddison and Dante shippers are angry with me for destroying their 'oh so precious ship'.

Oh, by the way Ashley is finally arrested now for trying to harm me. At first, she tried a lot to deny the accusations but all the proves were present neatly to unfold her truth so her lie couldn't survive and she ended up agreeing her deeds. But that wasn't the problem. The problem is that she is still not feeling guilty of her act. Instead she is feeling proud of herself that she troubled me.

Psycho.

Also did I mentioned this before that in social media, people's are constantly comparing me and Maddison with each other. They are pointing at each and everything. They are commenting on my choice of clothes, makeup, hairstyle, in short everything. A lot of them are comparing us for everything. Some of them are in my favour and others are in Maddison's favour.

Media people's ended up finding my true identity. The minute they realised that I was a middle class girl before marrying Dante, they started accussing me of a gold digger. Not just that, but they have problem with my age too. According to them, I'm too young to be Dante's wife. They are continuously mocking me for being nineteen whereas Dante is twenty five.

But the question here is, who asked for their opinion?

Also, the main thing, after my identity revelation they went to interview my ex boss, Andera heard, who surprisingly said everything good about me. Maybe because of my surname. They also went to interview Kate and my father, who is now out of prison. Kate stayed silent during the whole interview. But the shocking thing was that my father didn't badmouth me at all and he lied that I and Dante were dating before marriage.

At first I was confused about that but later Dante explained that my father agreed to lie about our relationship in exchange of his freedom.

And now my father and Kate has went back to their home with a promise of never troubling me again.

Other than that, my college friends are happy about me. Though some of them were angry with me for not giving them hints earlier but I somehow convinced them.

So yeah, except for few things, my life is almost on track now for which I'm quite happy.

And yes, the most important part is that tomorrow is my birthday and Dante has said that he is going to surprise me tomorrow for which I'm quite excited.

"Crystal" I heard Sarah's voice so I turned towards her.

"Ready?" She asked to which I nodded excitengly.

"Let's go then" She grinned at me.

We both walked out of mansion happily, followed by bodyguards.

Well, tomorrow is my birthday so today me and Sarah are going to pamper ourselves in spa.

Amazing, isn't it?

Dante's pov

Tomorrow's my girl's birthday.

For a long time she has not celebrated her birthday but tomorrow this is going to change. Tomorrow I'll make her day special and for that I'm decorating my backyard with the help of workers without Crystal's knowledge.

At first, I thought of having a candle light dinner at some posh restaurant but than I realised that Crystal won't be really happy with that so I decided to make it simple.

One thing I know is that most of her birthdays, she has spent them with her granny and after her demise, she never celebrated her birthday. So now instead of celebrating her birthday alone tomorrow, I have decided to celebrate her birthday with all her peoples. So tomorrow I'll surprise her with all her friends from both college and office, Martin and Mr Jenner and of course my family and Sarah's family too.

I know she is thinking that only I'll be with her tomorrow but she'd be surprised seeing everyone tomorrow.

Tomorrow has to be the most special day for her.

Crystal's pov

I woke up feeling butterfly kisses on my neck. I groaned opening my eyes to see that Dante was above me, kissing my neck.

"Dante" I groaned angrily to which he stopped kissing me and looked straight in my eyes.

"Dante I was sleeping. You woke me up" I complaint angrily to which he grinned happily.

"Happy Birthday my love" He said with a smile.

"Huh?" I asked in confusion.

"I said happy birthday my love" He wished again and kissed my nose.

I instantly looked at the clock and realised that it's 12:00 AM at night.

Oh yes.

"Oh my.. Thank you" I replied happily and kissed his cheek before sitting properly.

"I thought you won't wish me at night. I mean it wasn't necessary though" I said with a small smile.

"Of course it's necessary. Today's my girl's birthday. How can I not wish her?" He said to which I blushed a little.

"Yeahh.. But you could have wished me in morning. You shouldn't have ruined your sleep" I replied softly.

"Oh you mean I shouldn't have ruined your precious sleep" Dante said teasingly.

"No, that's not what I meant" I said slowly.

"Anyway, forget all these things. I have a surprise for you" Dante said with a smile.

"What surprise?" I asked happily to which he grinned.

"You wanna know?" He asked to which I nodded eagerly.

"Wait a second" With this he went out of the room.

I sat excitingly on the bed waiting for him. In a few minutes he came back with something in his hands.

I looked carefully to see a cup cake was placed nicely in a dish along with a few candles.

"I know you aren't a huge fan of sweet stuffs but I guess a birthday is incomplete without that, no?" He chirped to which I nodded.

"And don't worry this cupcake isn't too sweet. You would like it" He added to which I nodded.

"Come on, now make a wish and blow these candles" He said again to which I nodded happily and closed my eyes.

May we always stay together. I wished and then blew the candles to which Dante sang a happy birthday song to me, which I may add was cute but embarrassing at the same time.

Hehe.

After blowing the candles, I sliced the cupcake with the help of a plastic knife and fed Dante. Later he fed me too and kissed my cheek.

CUTE.

"Um.. This is quite delicious" I moaned in delight as the cupcake was really good.

"Of course it would be delicious. I made it" Dante chirped proudly.

"Really?" I asked widening my eyes in shock to which he nodded.

"Oh sweet jesus. Thanks Dante" I exclaimed happily and hugged him.

"I didn't knew that you could bake. That too this much delicious" I said breaking the hug to which he gave me a smile.

"Oh you don't know a lot of things about me" Dante smirked.

"Don't worry I have my whole life ahead. I would learn" I chuckled.

"I have one more surprise for you" Dante said to which I looked at him in shock.

"Now what? Don't you think that it was enough?" I asked slowly.

"Nope. It's my girl's birthday. You think that a cupcake would be enough?" He asked sarcastically to which I shook my head.

"Okay okay fine. Show me the surprise" I asked, knowing that he won't stop.

Dante smirked at his victory and pulled out a small jewellery box from his pocket which had a Tiffany logo on it.

"Dante" I called his name sternly to which he grinned.

"What?" He asked innocently to which I glared him hard.

"You already gifted me an expensive gift last week. Why did you bought another one?" I asked angrily.

"Because it's your birthday today" Dante grinned.

"But-"

"Come on now" He stopped in the middle and opened the box, revealing a beautiful ring.

"You didn't have an engagement ring so I thought of giving you one" He replied with a big smile.

"Dante" I whispered looking at the ring.

"You-"

"No Crystal, please" He again stopped me in the middle and caught my hand in his and slipped the ring in my ring finger.

"Perfect" He exclaimed happily.

Not more than you.

Precap: "I love you, Crystal" I said caressing her cheek softly.

"I-I love you too, Dante".

Freeze.

Everything around me stopped the minute Crystal said those magical words. I looked at her to see that she was smiling heartily at me.

"D-Dante" She whispered ever so softly and fell in the ground, clutching her stomach. My eyes went downstairs to see that blood was oozing from her stomach and once again everything around me stopped but this time, in pain and agony.
