Chapter 48

Crystal's pov

Happiness is the only emotion which is constant in my life ever since I have married Dante. I swear this man is a God gift to me. The way he does everything to make me happy is praiseworthy.

In my whole life I have never met someone who did this much stuff to make me feel happy. His every action makes me happy. He makes me happy. His one gesture of kindness is enough to make my heart flutter.

Ever since my granny died, I stopped celebrating my birthday. Though even with granny, I used to celebrate a little bit but Dante. He went out of his way to make my day special. Never thought that I'd have someone in my life who will love me this much.

Dante surely is a God gift or maybe my mom's gift to me. I don't know that but I'll always cherish him and would never take him for granted.

Currently I'm in the backyard of our mansion where all my close people are present, making my day more special.

I smile looking at Sarah's niece, Aria who is eyeing my birthday cake with greed.

Cutie.

I swear this little girl is the cutest one. She has made my birthday party more lively with her presence.

I was busy with my thoughts when someone's arms wrapped around my waist.

Dante.

"What are you thinking?" He asked huskily.

"Just thinking when did I become so lucky to have you in my life?" I replied turning towards him and kissed his cheek to which he passed me a big smile.

"19th August" He said to which I raised my brows in confusion.

"I replied to your question about you being lucky to have me in your life. Remember we got married on the 19th of August" Dante replied with a smirk to which I rolled my eyes at him.

Arrogant Ass.

"You're so arrogant" I chirped shaking my head.

"That I am" Dante replied smugly.

"Now come on, it's time to cut the cake" Dante said softly. "Or else Aria would herself do the favour" He added making me laugh.

Later we both walked towards the center table and soon everyone else joined us. I looked at the cake and smiled in delight.

I blew the candles and cut the cake and fed the first bite to Dante to which he smiled and fed me too. Later I fed mom, dad, Sarah, Ashton, Aria and others.

Everyone again wished me and showered me with an immense amount of love and of course, gifts.

After enjoying the whole night, the party came to an end. Everyone went back to their home whereas we all went back to our room.

Once I entered Dante's room, he pushed me towards a wall and kissed me hungrily. I moaned feeling his rough lips against my soft ones.

After a few minutes we broke the kiss and sighed heavily.

"D-Dante" I called his name after I calmed down and looked deep in his eyes.

"Thank you for making my day special. You really made me happy" I said with a warm smile to which he looked happy.

"Anything for you, Crystal" He said kissing my knuckles causing me to blush.

"You looked really beautiful today. It was hard taking my eyes off of you" Dante said caressing my cheek with the back of his palm.

"I love you so much" He whispered against my lips with a dreamy face and that was the moment I realised that I loved him too.

And I wasn't ready to hide my feelings from him. Not after he is clear about his feelings towards me. So I said those words which I felt for him.

"I- I love you too, Dante" I said those words with a smile and heard him gasp in surprise.

Dante's pov

"I-I love you too, Dante".

Freeze.

Everything around me stopped the minute Crystal said those magical words. I looked at her to see that she was smiling heartily at me.

I can't believe this.

"You do?" I asked shockingly to which she nodded.

After waiting for so many days Crystal finally confessed that she loves me.

Am I dreaming or what?

"Dante, I didn't know when I fell in love with you but I do love you. I really do" she confessed with a small yet shy smile.

"Y-you-"

I didn't let her complete her sentence and kissed her again. But this time more passionately.

After breaking the kiss I caught her both cheeks in my palm and placed a big warm kiss on her forehead.

"I love you so much Crystal. You don't have any idea how much happy you made me today" I said softly.

"I was dying to hear those words from your mouth and when you finally said those words, it's being hard for me to digest this. Thank you Crystal. Thank you so much for giving me this wonderful return gift. Thank you so much" I said softly against her lips.

"No, I should say thank you to you Dante. You have always been there for me. You have always ensured my safety and happiness. Not for once I have felt lonely in your presence Dante" She said slowly.

"Before you I was living a lonely life. I had no one in my life but then you came and made me the luckiest girl of this earth. You gave me a family, their love and support and most importantly your heart. I can't even tell you in words that how much I'm thankful to you".

"And no, before you think that I love you because I'm thankful to you then no. Yes I'm grateful to you but I love you for genuine reasons. You are smart, handsome, arrogant but caring at the same time. You make me happy. You make me feel safe in your presence. Everytime I go to sleep or wake up from my sleep, I see you. I swear I even dream about you and that's much how I love you".

"One thing I came to know today is that I loved you from a long time but couldn't voiced out of feelings but today I did and I'm so happy about that. I'm happy to confess my feelings to you Dante" She completed with little tears in her pretty eyes.

I wiped those tears and kissed her forehead softly.

"I love you" I said softly.

"I love you too" She whispered hugging me.

After breaking the hug, we again kissed each other and that's when things got heated. A small passionate kiss turned into the make out and then love making causing me to be her first in every sense.

Next morning.

I woke up with a smile and turned around to see that Crystal was sleeping peacefully beside me, naked under the covers.

I leaned towards her and kissed her nose softly to which she scrunched her nose in irritation but didn't opened her eyes. I smiled at that and decided to bring her breakfast.

I slowly got off the bed and wore my tshirt and shorts and left the room.

I asked my cook to make veg pizza for Crystal and coffee for me.

Although I wanted Crystal to have healthy breakfast but I knew how much hate those stuffs so I decided to go with the pizza which she will atleast eat happily.

After waiting for some time I went back to my room with her pizza but Crystal wasn't there.

She must be in her room then.

Walking inside her room I heard the shower voice. I placed the pizza on table and settled myself on Crystal's bed.

I think it's time for Crystal to move into my room.

Soon she came out wearing a green color mid knees dress, looking beautiful as ever.

"Hey gorgeous" I said walking towards her and kissed her cheeks lovingly.

"Hey" She replied shyly.

"Now you're feeling shy" I asked with a smirk to which her cheeks turns red.

I let out a laugh at that and pinched her cheeks lovingly.

"I got you breakfast" I said to which she nodded. We both walked towards the couch and settled there.

Her eyes twinkled in happiness when she saw pizza.

"Let's eat" I said chuckling to which she nodded.

"Crystal, what would you say if I ask you to shift in my room?" I asked taking a bite from pizza.

Hearing my question she coughed a little to which I instantly passed her water.

"Thanks" She said slowly and gulped down the water.

After few seconds of pause she looked deep in my eyes and smiled at me.

"I'd say, I'd love too" She said giving me a smile, warming my heart.

I wish we always stay happy.

Precap: "D-Dante" She whispered ever so softly and fell in the ground, clutching her stomach. My eyes went downstairs to see that blood was oozing from her stomach and once again everything around me stopped but this time, in pain and agony.
