Chapter 5

Crystal's pov

"Do you Dante Knight take Crystal Collins as your lawful wife?" Priest asked him

Please say no.

"I do" He replied.

"Do you Crystal Collins take Dante Knight as your lawful husband?" Priest asked me.

No.

I so wanted to say no but "I do" I said the opposite.

Damn me.

"I now pronounce you as husband and wife. Now you may kiss the bride" Priest said looking at us.

No please. I don't want to ruin my first kiss to this stone ass man.

I gulped looking at him. He turned to me at the same time.

He placed his big hands on the side of my face and leaned towards me. My breathing felt heavy from our closeness. I closed my eyes in panic but to my surprise his lips touched my cheek instead of my lips.

Thanks ya!

I opened my eyes to meet his gorgeous blue eyes. His eyes are so beautiful. He's staring at me with some unknown emotions. But our eye lock was short lived cause we heard someone yell.

"WHAT THE HELL?" We both pulled away after hearing an ear shrilling voice.

I looked ahead to see a very furious looking Maddison glaring us, especially me.

I took a step back from my place but I accidentally walked on my gown. I was about to fall when an arm saved me. I looked to the source, it was Dante. He held me protectively in his arm.

Damn these butterflies in my tummy.

"DANTE" Again she yelled. I finally stand on my legs but Dante's arm is still linked to my waist.

I looked ahead to find Maddison glaring his arm around my waist.

I tried to free myself from his grip but he held me tightly.

"What the hell!" She glared me.

"Oh hey, Maddison!" Mrs Knight grinned at her.

"How dare you?" Maddison yelled marching towards me. But before she could do something Mrs Knight came in between.

"Don't even try to hurt my daughter in law" Mrs Knight glared her.

"Daughter in law? She's not your daughter in law, I am" Maddison yelled at her.

"Really? She's the one who married Dante, not you" Mrs Knight said in bored tone.

"She did not" Maddison glared me.

"She did" Mrs Knight smirked at her angry face.

"How can you do this? I just asked you to fake being me for sometime. Not to marry him. He's supposed to be my husband" Maddison yelled at me.

"Now he is her husband" Mrs Knight glared her.

"Me and Dante love each other. She just can't come in-between us" Maddison yelled.

Why she yell so much? Can't she speak slowly. Her voice is already irritating me.

Before Mrs Knight could reply something, Dante get off the stage and walked towards her.

"I don't love you. I never did. I never will" Dante said looking straight in her eyes.

"But I always loved you, Dante" Maddison said in soft voice.

"That explain why you ran away to meet another man before your marriage" Mrs Knight taunted her causing Maddison to wide her eyes in shock. She than looked at me angrily.

"You bit-"

"Don't Maddison, DON'T" Dante cut her off.

"I wouldn't tolerate anyone abusing my wife" Dante said ever so coldly which made me shiver.

Damn this man!

"Wife?" Maddison had tears in her eyes.

"Dante please. I love you. Trust me I do. I was so excited to marry you" She cried. "But she *glaring me* and Ryan ruined everything".

"Ryan was my ex and he had my private photos. He blackmailed me to meet him before the marriage starts or else he would leak those photos to media house. I never wanted both our families reputation to spoil that's why I had to leave. And I did told her to just fake being me, not to marry you. But look at her. She showed her true colors. She married you for money. She trapped you. She married you by fake being me" Maddison chirped causing me to roll my eyes.

"Nice story Maddison. I never knew that a brainless bimbo like you can make a story like this" Mrs Knight taunted her.

"And yes, she didn't married Dante by being you. We all knew that it was her and not you. Priest never took your name during this whole time. He took her name. She already did told us about you ran away from the marriage. So yeah, she didn't trapped us. Instead she helped us by exposing you and your family" Mrs Knight said proudly looking at me. She had a look of pure admiration for me. My heart rate eased from her words.

On the other hand, Maddison gasps hearing Mrs Knight words. She didn't expected me to expose her in front of others. Poor her.

"How can you do this to me, Dante? I'll tell everyone that you kidnapped me and married your mistress" She yelled at him.

Not so poor.

"Go ahead. Try whatever you can. But remember one thing, your one wrong move will cause more damage to you and family. Your grandfather, Ethan must be crying somewhere cause of your stupidity. Your another stupidity will just add salt in his wounds. I'm sure you don't want to make him more angry now, do you?" Ashton asked raising his brows at her.

Maddison looked shocked and scared. Her eyes went wide in shock.

"And yeah, all your modelling contracts which you got because of Dante is gonna withdraw. Neither you'll be Knights face. Good luck" Mrs Knight smirked at her.

"You can't do this to me. You can't play with my career" Maddison yelled ever so loudly making me winced.

"Oh really? You don't want someone to play with your career but you can blackmail someone with their career?" Mrs Knight raised her brows at her. Maddison looked furious.

"You.."

"Lower your voice, Maddison. We had enough of you. Now we aren't gonna tolerate your nonsense" This time Mr Knight chirped, glaring her.

"Nooo. You all fuCking cheated. Dante is mine. Only mine. He can't marry someone else" Maddison yelled on the top of her voice.

"Oh God! Stop yelling. Your ear shrilling voice is giving me headache" I yelled but instantly regrets. I covered my mouth with my palm and gasp.

Ashton and his wife start laughing at my sentence. Others looked shocked and amused. And Maddison. Oh God, she's looking more angry than before.

Oh shit!

"How dare you?" Maddison pushed Mrs Knight aside and marched towards me. She raised her hand to slap me but Dante stopped her hand in meantime.

What's wrong with Kingsley's? Everyone in their family is trying to hurt me. And Knights. They all are saving me from them. *sigh*

"Don't lay your hands on my wife. I'm not going to tolerate this" Dante said coldly.

Maddison cried more hearing his cold voice. And me. Butterflies start dancing in my tummy.

Maddison than looked at me with hate and disgust.

"This is all because of you. I'll make you suffer for your deeds" She said looking directly in my eyes. She freed herself from Dante's grip and went away.

Oh God! Save me already.
