"Bye Mars I'm going home first." I said to Mars.

"Have a safe trip." He said as we parted ways at the train station.

"Don't worry. I'm Athena's reincarnation." I said laughing.

Today has been a great day! Venus and I have been spending more time recently and later I would visit her. Well, it's a dance practice but everytime I'm with her it feels so comfortable. The more I know her, the more my crush grew. I still believe I don't swing that way.

I could still remember the manga Mars gave me. Girls could actually do sex. Just remembering what I read, I felt my face burnt red again. How the older girl teases the younger girl and kisses the younger girl passionately. E-even sliding her tongue inside the younger girl's mouth and creasing the thigh of the younger girl. I can't believe how perverted Mars is. In his defense, he said that girls' love is the purest!

My thoughts were disrupted by a sudden figure. She looks like Venus. Then I remembered that we live in the same building. Venus with someone not Vulcan and; moreover, not from our school.

What's his name again? If he's with her then that means he's one of the six. Again? Is it ,Mike or Luke? What was in again? TOM!!! I really should thank Mars for suggesting to go to the cafeteria for lunch today.We always hear other people gossiping during lunch time.

I'm sure that it's Tom since he's the only one Venus dates from a school that is ten blocks away from us judging from his uniform. He's just one of the rumors who Venus is dating. He's part of a gang according to the girls at lunch. It's it dangerous?

I wonder why she isn't with Vulcan, her official boyfriend. I trust Vulcan more than him. You should've just gone home with me instead! No time for that. I can't believe I just thought of that. I can feel something bad is about to happen. I think I should follow them, I mean, there's no harm done right? I just want to make sure that she'll be safe home. I wonder what they are talking about. Tom's grabbing Venus forcefully. Lovers quarrel?

Venus really should do some research before she dates someone. Aphrodite's power is really troublesome. Maybe I should just leave them. He won't hurt her right? I mean he loves her.

I was about to leave when I saw Tom shoving Venus into a car. Shit!! Is this guy trying to kidnap his girlfriend? He really is a lunatic.

Fuck. I need to follow them. Venus is in danger!

I decided to abandon my quiet life and followed the car. I ran after it. Thanks to that, I was able to run behind the car. I really could use some of Athena's power right now.

I clenched my teeth.

That lunatic Tom, I'm sure that he loves Venus very much. All boys do but maybe he loves her in a dark way. And, that he'll do anything just to make Venus his. I mean technically he is but also sharing her to other guys. I mean anyone would be angry especially when you're Venus first ever boyfriend yet not that main one. My guess is that he wasn't really okay with sharing Venus to other guys, but that's the only way so he kidnapped her.

My guess is that he thought Venus might change after dating him, but even after confirming their relationship, Venus wanted it to be a secret. What made it worse might have been that when Vulcan stepped in and confessed his love. Too bad for him, Vulcan became the official boyfriend right away. I do speculate that it must be because Vulcan's also a reincarnated child unlike him.

Being jealous and not knowing your place would be Tom's doom. It's not like I've never been jealous of Vulcan. I just never wanted to destroy the new built friendship I have with Venus. Although keeping it under control has become harder and harder. I've become more and more having the urge to press my lips against hers and it's driving me insane. I somehow sympathize with Tom.

My thoughts were disrupted once more when I felt myself getting tired.

Shit.

I'm almost out of breath. I'm really in it for a break, but I'll lose them.

Come on come on Minerva, you're Athena's reincarnation. I tried to motivate myself. I still tried to try my best but the car sped up, I guess they noticed me.

Shit.

I tripped as my body was already at its limit. My lips were wounded which stings a bit. I licked my wounded lip only to feel some blood coming out of it. I really need to treat it later when I get home.

Tears were falling not because it hurts, but I'm worried for Venus. Now that I lost them, what will happen to her? Fear crept inside my mind and knowing that I couldn't do anything was killing me. I'm Athena's reincarnation yet I'm here crying like a baby wishing I was stronger to be able to rescue her.

I know that crying won't help so I got up and ran once again. I don't care where I'm headed to, I just know that I will- I must find you.

That beautiful, cute, and not very honest friend I have who bullies me to protect me from other bullies.

I must be crazy.

If something happens to you, I won't be able to forgive myself. I don't care what will happen to the world, I just want you safe.

I don't know what happened but suddenly everything turned white. I opened my eyes only to see nothing, everything's white. What just happened? Did I collapse? Numerous questions keep popping up from my mind. Don't tell me I died? But if I did-

Oh shit! That's right.

VENUS!!!!!

That's the only thing my mind kept thinking. Venus. I was chasing the car and- Venus is in danger!

"Chill you dweeb." said an unfamiliar voice.

"Who are you? Everything's so white that I can't see you." I answered.

"I'm Athena." The unknown figure then revealed herself.

She was wearing an armor, her hair was fiery red with yellow eyes. She has some wounds around her. She's definitely Athena, I won't doubt that.

"Wait. WHAT??? Where am I? Am I dead yet??" I said, panicking since I was supposed to save Venus.

"Just chill. I heard you want your powers back." She said.

Powers back? What does she mean? I mean I'm already quite strong. Wasn't that my power?

"I don't get it. Didn't I have it already? I'm quite strong. I know martial arts." I said.

"Well, that's your own strength. With my power, you'll be even more stronger to the point you could possibly kill someone. When you were young around ten, your power actually awakened when you were bullied, and because of that you ended up almost killing them. After what happened, you don't want your powers anymore and wished it to be a dream only. Going as far as wanting to have a quiet and peaceful life. That's how you ended up being all nerdish. " She explained.

"So I locked your powers until you wanted it again. You were cool before you know? You were really just like me, but now well there's still a part of you that resembles me. I was hurt when you said you didn't want my power." She said again with a sad smile.

That happened? Well, I want it now. No, I need it.

"Give them back Athena. I need it." I said.

"Alright. Before I give them back, your power will be enhanced only when you're in grave danger. It's so that you won't end up becoming a murderer or some superhero. Another thing, since I locked your powers, Mar's powers are locked too because both Ares and I are arch enemies. We are kinda linked" She explained it fast.

"By the way, change your style won't you? Don't' worry about those glasses, you won't need them anymore after your powers awaken. Take care, future me. Adiou" She said waving goodbye then disappeared.

I'm back to where I was standing before, but why is it blurry? I've always been wearing eyeglasses. Maybe-

I took off my eyeglasses and everythings clear. So this is what Athena meant when I don't need eye glasses again. Now that I got my power back, it's time to find Venus. I can feel such strong energy within me, it's like my body just knows where to go. I ran and followed my instinct. I can;t believe I'm running so fast right now compared to before. My stamina also skyrocketed.

After just following my instinct, I ended up in some old mansion far from the city. Seriously this Tom. He is F-R-E-A-K-Y, he's freaky and not to mention crazy. I went inside and saw nothing inside. I went up and finally saw her, suddenly a big bird cage dropped on top of me. I was trapped, he got me real good. Guess he was expecting me to come for Venus.

"Really a nerd? Don't tell me you swing that way? You and this slut. She'll never choose you." Tom said grinning

"That has nothing to do with you. Just let her go, you like her, right." I said back to him

It's not like that yet. Seriously, he's freaky, crazy, and delusional.

"SHUT UP BITCH!!!! YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!!!" He shouted.

"I was her first boyfriend, yet she chose Vulcan. They only started to date two months ago and now he's her official boyfriend." He said, tearing up.

Well I do feel sorry for him. I mean Venus, seriously has six lovers??! I like her. Of course I do. I'm also her friend but really? This made me realize that I didn't know that much about her. She's really the reincarnation child of Aphrodite.

"That's why if I can't have her, nobody can. I'm gonna lock her up here until she falls in love with me." he continued, with a big smug.

Nevermind. HE'S CRAZY!!! Even if I like Venus, I wouldn't lock he rup. I'm sure something happened to her to make her that way.

"You are crazy. If you love her, let her go. It's better." I said.

"Ohh. I get it. Let her go and let her be happy while I SUFFER!!! Is that it?" He said, angrily.

Sometimes letting go of the wrong one will help you find the right one. Tom's making his life harder. Venus really has it bad. Being too beautiful is also dangerous.

"Listen Tom, let her go and be happy and that you are not hurting because you love her. Let her go and find someone that will choose you back if you chose her. " I said.

I took a deep breath and continued.

"Let go someone who chases another and who keeps hurting you. Let go and be happy. Stop hurting yourself."

Silence.

It might work.

"Bullshit. THAT'S BULLSHIT!!!! You think I'm easy to fool? I know you would say that to make me give up and you'll have her all to yourself." He said laughing evilly.

Well he's delusional. He really could use some therapy.

"GUYS!!! Back up. Guard that girl while I'll have a great time." While smiling and walking towards Venus.

He touched Venus's lips and moved closer slowly creasing Venus's thigh.

I felt my nerves acting up and my eyes flared with anger.

The heck? What the hell is this guy planning to do to her. Don't tell me he's- he's planing to rape her. Seriously? He's that desperate?

"Dude you'll regret it!!" I said, hoping he would listen.

"Shut up you fucking dyke." He said

DYKE??! What did he just say to me? I mean Venus is beautiful but- fuck, she's totally my type but that's not the problem right now.

"STOP!!!! STOP TOM." A friend of his shouted.

I'm sure his friends are also afraid that they'll be prisoned. I wonder how they'll react when they know who they are messing with.

I returned to reality and saw....saw him putting his hand in Venus's- shit!! He wants to really rape her.

"Mi-mi-ner-va." Venus said, asking for help with tears falling on her cheeks.

Seeing her so scared like that, shattered my heart. I can't bear to see her like that.

"Leave her be, Tom. I'm serious." I said glaring at him

"Get her!!!" He said as his gang, gang up on me.

I bended the metal and kicked all of their ass.

"M-o-ons-t-ter." One of the guys said before fainting.

Well that was easy.

"Go away or she'll die!!" Said Tom holding a gun.

Great. Now what.

"Tom. You love her, let her live." I said, worried.

"Yuh Tom, if you kill me WE ARE OVER." Venusa said

"Hahaha I will kill you then kill myself. We'll be together for eternity." He said laughing out loud.

This guy is crazy.

I ran towards him and took Venus away, sadly he was able to pull the trigger and it hit my left arm. I kicked him in his stomach causing him to faint. I called the police using my family's reputation and told them the location of this place and that all of the guys here attempted rape. The police arrived quickly.

I walked towards her and carried her princess style.

"You-you do-don't have to do this." She said stuttering, her face deep red.

That was cute....WAIT WHAT??

I should really be honest with myself.

I smiled and really wanted to kiss her. It took quite a long time before I really accepted that I am in love with her. Mars was right. It was love at first sight.

"You hurt your leg you know? So of course I'll have to carry you till we reach the city." I said smiling at her.

The police offered us a ride and dropped us off at Frontview Residences. I thanked them. I reached my unit and thankfully my parents and my brother were not home yet.

"Oh my! I'll get the first aid." Nanny said.

"Please bring it to my room." I said.

I brought Venus to my room which was full of posters of basketball players and some kpop group..

"Your room is-"

"Not like me? I know. I'm not really smart you know, just things related to business."

"I haven't asked but who are you really?" Venus asked, curiously.

"I guess you weren't listening during the first day of class. I'm Minerva Henceforth, little sister of Zero Henceforth and the heir to the Jewel Hotels." I said with a smile.

"If you said that on the first day of classes, no one would have bothered you."

"I don't want to use my parents' status. Don't forget about Mars. He's the next heir to the STG Architect. I can't wait to see the reaction of our schoolmates." I said, chuckling to myself.

"I'm-"

"You're Venus Bridget. Heir to the BREN Corporation right?" I said with a smile.

"You-"

I was distrubed my two soft lips pressing against mine. The kiss lasted only a few seconds but my brain is still processing.

After realizing what happened, my cheeks turned red.

"Here's the first aid kit." Nanny said as she handed me the first aid.

I fixed her wound quickly, it was nothing major. After that she left quickly so did nanny, now that I'm the only one in the room. My face was definitely brighter red than before.

It looks like the dance practice won't continue anymore.
