Chapter 28

Minerva

I whipped my tears away and looked at Aphrodite.

"Leave her body," I said.

Aphrodite laughed and ran her hand through her hair, then looked at me with serious eyes as if the situation was serious. It worried me that Venus might not come back.

"She called me out," Aphrodite said.

My thoughts were filled with questions. I wonder what she meant by that. I glared at her while clenching my hands. Lucky for her she was in Venus's body and not her own or I would've punched her already. Then it stuck me, her own body?

"It seems like you've figured out something," Aphrodite said.

"This is going to be long, but I'll tell you about the truth," Aphrodite said as she sat down beside me.

"I used to be a horrible Goddess. I played with the hearts of men including Gods and as a punishment I was to be married to Hephaestus. God, not only he looks terrible but his personality is too. I can't blame him though. I really used to play with the hearts of other Gods, but when we got married, I stopped playing around as long as he didn't touch me." Aphrodite said with a sad smile. She bit her lip and a blush crept from her face.

"Little did I know a certain red-haired Goddess would make my heart beat like crazy. We started off as friends. She cared about me not my beauty unlike the others, even my husband. It started with a joke. I joked about how soft her kiss is like then out-of-the-blue, her lips were on mine. Various sealed and unknown feelings burst from my heart. Right then and there I knew I love her, and after seeing her flushed face, I knew it was mutual. We started accompanying each other often. Everything was peaceful, but then I loved her. I wanted to break my marriage off with Hephaestus, but he-" before Aphrodite was able to finish, Venus's body suddenly fell on the bed.

It looks like Aphrodite lacked time to tell me the whole story. I wonder what she wanted to say. The fact that Aphrodite was in truth in love with Athena, my reincarnation surprised me. Now it made sense why I'm part of the trouble like the other reincarnated children who were acquainted with Aphrodite. Somehow, a smile crept on my face at the same time my heart sank a little. The thought that Venus might be in love with me because of our souls made me feel down. No negative thoughts. I convinced myself.

After a while, Venus opened her eyes. She sat up with a confused face. I went out to the kitchen and brought her some light snacks to fill her stomach up.

"You fainted," I explained.

Venus started to munch the apple I gave her. I patted her head to reassure that she'll be okay. I told her about Aphrodite including what Athena was about to do. Unexpectedly, she gave me a pout. I wonder if she was angry that I wasn't able to stop Athena and Aphrodite from doing it with each other earlier.

"I was able to stop them though. I'm sorry I wasn't able to do it earlier," I told her, creasing her hand.

Venus shook her head.

"You should've let them continue," Venus said, blushing deep red as she buried her bright red face on my breasts.

I felt my face burning hot. Does she want to do it with me? When I felt her lips touch my breast on top of my clothing, it made me feel things that I wasn't supposed to. The thought of her body on top of mine filled my thoughts. I played with my fingers. I should probably tell her the reason why I didn't want Aphrodite and Athena to continue.

"It's because even though it's Aphrodite moaning Athena's name, she's still possessing your body so it looks as if it were you moaning Athena's name," I managed to utter lowering my gaze down the floor.

My eyes shot wide open when Venus suddenly pushed me down on the bed. Her soft lips started to kiss me passionately, making my breath heavy as I grasped for air. I saw the lust in her eyes. Venus then slowly travelled from my lips to my neck as she nibbled my skin leaving red marks. Who knew that she would be the one to lead? I better take some lessons from Athena. I felt Venus's hand on my abdomen as she slowly drew circles on my stomach that made me want more of her touch. Her hand slowly slid down almost touching my center only to be discontinued when we heard a sudden knock on the door.

"Dinner's ready," Nanny said.

"I'll wake Venus up," I replied as I kissed Venus's forehead.

"Maybe we should continue it someday?" I whispered despite being fully turned on.

Venus chuckled and kissed me on the lips before sneakily slipping her hand and fondled with my breasts. I felt my cheeks blushed deep red.

"Let's go now," I said, blushing furiously.

"Alright, alright so don't be mad," Venus said, chuckling.

I smiled. Seeing her look this happy made me relieved although she's rather sly this time, I still prefer her this way. I grabbed her hand tightly and gave her a hug.

"If you feel scared, just hold my hand. I'll protect you," I said.

"Thank you, Minerva," she whispered as she reciprocated my hug.

We both pulled away and I told her if she was okay if we could confront and ask Mars and the other what happened to them although we doubt that they would remember. At least this way, they would know what happened to them. Venus trembled a little but assured that she was okay with it. She feels safer with me after all.

We went down and had dinner. Venus later on asked permission if she could stay with me for the night in which both our parents agreed gladly when they figured out our family background. After that even my parents were extremely glad that I'm not only dating someone I love but also a sole heir to a giant company. I sighed when Venus's parents suddenly showed up at our unit and went on to talk about business with my parents. Venus and I left them alone and went back to my room.

"Our parents were happy when they figured out that their daughter's partner is filthy rich, it's like a blind date where our parents set us up with someone they could use to expand their business," Venus said with her eyebrows in a distraught triangle and a frown.

I knew Venus would feel bad this way. I sneakily planted a kiss on her nose.

"We just saved our parents from setting us a blind date themselves, so isn't it a good thing?" I said, smiling cheekily.

Venus surprisingly for the first time stuck her tongue out. This cute gesture of hers made me chuckle. How could she be this cute? I moved closer towards and pinched her cheeks. Venus hit me with small punches, causing me to fall out of balance and grabbing her shirt as I fell down on the bed.

"Aren't you sly?" Venus said.

I felt my cheeks heat up. It was all an accident. I closed my eyes waiting for Venus to pounce on me again. Surprisingly, I felt a flick on my forehead. Venus was teasing me.

"We wouldn't want your parents to hear us after all," Venus said before heading inside the bathroom.

I followed after her. She was already naked and ready to get inside the bathtub. With a flushed face, Venus threw her underwear inside the wash bin immediately. I felt a smirk crept from my face. She must have been wet. I took off my clothes and joined her inside the bathtub where our skin was making contact, not because the bathtub was small, but because I scoot towards her with our shoulders touching each other.

"You're making it hard for me to control myself," Venus whispered.

"Have I always?" I asked, curiously.

We may have been dating for months already but I have no idea what's going on in her head. We spend time and cuddle as well as hold hands like other couples do. For some, we might have been mistaken for friends. Well, even when we are dating, she's also like a friend who's willing to hear me out during my breakdowns and vise versa. In truth, deep inside, I've always wanted to touch that soft and beautiful body of hers. As my eyes trailed from her face down to her breasts, I felt myself swallowing my saliva. I can't believe I'm turned on already. She does look magnificent. It made me wonder how it sounds like if she moans.

"I've always wanted to do it with you ever since I kissed you the first time," Venus confessed, hiding her face by submerging half of her face in the water.

I couldn't believe that she had liked me even back then, it meant that she must have lied to me first regarding the fake dating we were doing. I wanted to ask her.

"Can I know why you told me that we're only fake dating at first?" I asked.

Hearing no reply from Venus, I turned my head to her and saw that her skin was red hot. It seemed that the bath was too hot for her to handle and we've been inside the tub for almost thirty minutes. I grabbed Venus and carried her outside the bathtub.

"Can you stand up?" I asked.

Venus nodded slowly. After confirming that she could indeed stand up on her own, I went to the closet and fetch her some of my clothes. We laid on the bed with Venus in deep sleep. So much for my libido acting up. I kissed her lips. We can always do it another time.
