Chapter 33: End
Our Love In Another Life [GirlxGirl]
Third POV.
*seven years later*
Minerva was nervous. How could she have forgotten their anniversary. Venus is so going to get mad at her when she insists Venus attend a reunion. Minerva excited her office. As the current Vice president of her company with her dad being tha chairman and the current CEO, Minerva was swamped with work. What made her busier, is when Venus's parents decided to merge the two companies.
Minerva had her hair in a bun as always. Ever since Venus accidentally told her that she found her sexy in a bun when Venus was drunk, Minerva decided to keep her messy bun â of course Venus doesn't know. Minerva stroke towards the parking lot and inside her car. She drove full speed ahead and to Geyus Hotel where her high school reunion will take place. Shit! No wonder Venus didn't want to attend. Minerva looked at the clock. She still has a few minutes to spare. Minerva decided to visit the mall. Inside the mall that her company owns, Minerva walked inside the well-known jewelry store.
"How may I help you?" The lady asked.
" I need a ring,"

Venus sat there, sipping wine. She was mad at Minerva for forgetting their anniversary. And to think she was the one who asked me out during high school. Venus sighed. The hotel was rather noisy. She had already exchanged greetings with everyone and was getting bored.
"You're alone?" Sam asked with her hands around Paris.
"Lucky those who have already gotten married," Venus glanced at Sam's ring.
Sam and Paris had already been married for six months. Sam's part of the national basketball table here after getting her citizenship a few years prior. Surprisingly, Paris is an attorney working at Minerva's firm. Violet is still pursuing her medical studies while Maxy and Travis are now full-pledge bakers with their own bakery that they had opened after graduating college. As for the other two...
Venus felt a hand tapping her shoulder. She placed her wine glass down and saw Vulcan together with Mars, walking hand in hand, cozy in each other's arm.
"Took you long enough to get together," Sam said, flexing her ring on her hand again.
"Do you always have to say that everytime we meet?" Mars complained.
Venus felt a laugh emit from her lips. It has become a tradition that whenever they meet, they would always mention Mars and Vulcan's relationship. After dating without a label for many years, they just became official after they graduated college, around a year ago.
"You've been dating many years now and only became official just a year ago. Really now?" Paris teased.
Mars looked at Vulcan with his puppy eyes asking for help.
"Who told you to wait during the graduation of our college year before asking me out?"
"Not you too!" Mars sighed in defeat.
Venus looked around and was disappointed when she didn't see Minerva anywhere. She wondered whether the latter had forgotten to attend the reunion too like their anniversary.
"I wonder if Minerva will attend," Another lady said.
"You mean Minerva Henceforth? The CEO of the Henceforth company?" another gossiped.
"She's rich and handsome! If I knew she would be like that, I would've tried to catch her attention," another said.
Venus, who felt her anger rising, drank all her wine until it was all gone.
"Looks like someone's jealous," Mars said.
"Where the hell is she anyway?" Sam looked around the room and found no signs of the green-haired lady.
In just a moment, the room suddenly became dark. Whispers filled the room when a light suddenly opened and pointed at one direction. There, a lady with a bouquet of violets walked towards Venus.
"Will you marry me?" Minerva said with a smile.
"You can marry yourself," Venus replied coldly.
Minerva clenched her fists. She inhaled deeply. Many eyes were on her. She could hear the whispers of her classmates in high school as if mocking her. Had Venus just rejected her marriage proposal? Mars looked at Venus in shock as if he couldn't believe what was happening.
"Venus, I'm sorry for forgetting our anniversary. That's why- that's why, I wanna make it up to youuuu," Minerva's eyes started to become teary.
"I love you! I love you! You don't have to accept my proposal, just don't break up with meeee!" Miversa continued to say.
A bunch of paparazzi came out from their hiding place and started to take pictures of the teary-eyed future chairman and current CEO of the Henceforth Company. Everyone in the room was surprised. They hadn't anticipated paparazzis to come out of nowhere.
Venus sighed and placed a kiss on Minerva's lips.
"Stop crying, you'll look ugly," She said.
"Bu-bu-"
"Stop crying. I didn't reject you. I was only teasing you," Venus explained.
Minerva's eyes became bright and she smiled happily before princess-carrying Venus and placed kisses all over the latter's face. It seemed that Minerva had forgotten about the paparazzis. The next day, their names were all over the newspaper and internet. Minerva was congratulated by her parents.
Minerva drove home after a tiring day. When she opened the door, she saw a bright light.
"You're back!" a person with seductive lips said.
Aphrodite?
With just a blink of an eye, Venus was in front of her in her apron.
"I've cooked your favorite meal," Venus said, proudly.
Minerva sat together with Venus as they ate dinner. It was peaceful and lovely. With just a blink of an eye, they already got married and have two children. After sixty years, their skin was no longer smooth, it became wrinkled. Their love never faded even after many years. Minerva, despite the loud screams of her grandson, wanted to depart from Earth early. Venus has died two years before her and she wanted to meet the person she loves as soon as possible. Her breath became heavy. Minerva finally closed her eyes. Everything became dark.
A pair of eyes opened. There she saw a giant tree. It seemed as if she had seen this before. There she saw a lady that made her heart pound once more. No, I can only love Venus. The lady turned around with a smile on her face. Tears started falling from the corners of her eyes.
"Aphrodite,"
"Athena!" I've missed you, the lady came running towards Athena.
"You've been asleep for a quite a while!" Aphrodite hugged her.
Asleep?
"What about Venus? You're Aphrodite. Where's my Venus?" Athena said.
"You just went for a visit in the human realm," Aphrodite explained,
"So, who's Venus? I thought that you'll only love me?" Aphrodite crossed her arms.
Athena felt her head ache. She blinked a few times.
"Who's Venus?" Athena, raised her eyebrows.
"Are you replacing me with her?" Aphrodite pouted.
Aphrodite sighed and cupped the cheeks of Aphrodite. Aphrodite leaned and gave Athena a kiss on the lips.
"You're my only love. We'll be together forever. Come! Ares and the others are waiting for us," Aphrodite grabbed Athena's arm.
They walked towards the forest where a couple of other Gods and Goddesses were waiting for them. Athena's eyes widened. When did Poseidon become a woman? A sudden question popped inside her head. She blinked again. Poseidon has always been a woman. Silly me.
The six Gods and Goddess chat and eat happily together. Whether it was real or not and a dream or not, they all still lived happily forever- like literally.
The End.
