"Dad I swear he didn't give me he said he couldn't" "You liar he would never do that, what are you doing with the money you get from work, do you gamble or what you never have enough money, Sara do not come home if you don't have my beer or you are going to regret it" he answered and closed the phone.

I collapsed to the floor crying but soon realised this was school, I stood up quickly looking around if someone saw my little breakdown.

Thankfully no one saw it. I sighed a sigh of relief. "Why can't I just have a normal life" I thought to myself.

I bet you are thinking what the hell was I doing in the cafeteria? But look I can't have enemies at school too, but at the same time, this dude is extreme.

I headed to class, waiting for lunch to end. Adam entered the class. "Oh our lonely rat is here, how do you feel? Does your neck hurt?" He said remarking today's morning.

"Adam, what do you want from me I did nothing to you?" "You know I find it interesting how you give this brave face but the moment someone lays a finger on you, you become like a little kitten, I mean I didn't even put enough pressure and your eyes watered"

I didn't know what to answer, so I just stared at him. He is right but what should I say? Oh I'm sorry my dad abused me that's why every inch of my body has a bruise, or should I say my dad pinned me to the wall yesterday from the same place you grabbed.

"Weirdo I'm talking to you" he said snapping his finger in front of my face. "Can you please just leave me alone, I'm tired, I'm begging you" I begged. "Since you begged but you owe me one weirdo I noted it"He gave me a smirk and left.

How will I get Dad his beer i don't have the money and there are still 3 days for my pay.

As was i talking my phone rang, it was Amma, my coworker. "Hey Amma" "Hi Sarah, um can I ask for a favour?" She asked with a husky voice. "Sure are you good though?" "Yeah just a bit sick, un there is this party i was going there as a waiter and I got sick can you cover for me, they give a good check" "Oh sure just send me the location and is there any specific dress code or a uniform?" "There is a uniform, they will give it to you there" "Okay bye get well soon"

Oh my god, this came at the right time, the first time luck was on my side.

The rest of the day was quite normal. Thank god I didn't have any more classes with Adam or Asher

I went there with the same outfit, I can't go home without his beer last time wasn't so good. The party was at a house, or should I say a mansion. This is HUGE. It is as big as my whole neighbourhood. There were a lot of decorations and the music was blasting. I entered the house, and a woman stood in front of me. "Who are you" "Um I'm Sara I'm here at 9 instead of Amma, she got sick last minute but don't worry I'm at least as good as her" "You talk a lot I hope you don't talk that much when serving" ouch !! " Oh no don't worry I only talk when I'm asked while serving" "Yes you better" she said waving me off.

What a great start. A girl approached me. "You look like you are new, she is always like this don't take it personally she is like that to everyone" "But she is quite rude" "Yeah I know you'll get used to it, anyways let me show your uniform and the changing room, you have...um.. about 15 min to get ready hurry up," she said checking the time.

I was all dressed and went to the kitchen to get started with the service.

I went to the garden where the event was held. I was serving when a woman approached me. "Go give the gentlemen over there a drink" she ordered pointing at a group of men who looked about my age. "Omg is everyone here rude" I whispered to myself and headed to the group.

"Would you like some drinks gentlemen?" I offered. They all looked at me and one said. "What is a gorgeous girl like you doing here" a boy said smirking. I ignored his comment and offered them a drink. "I would drink poison if you handed it to me my love" the annoying boy added.

Suddenly Alex came from across. "What are you doing here, you ruined the relationship between me and Chris and know you want to ruin my birthday" he shouted. I was stunned I didn't understand what was he talking about but I knew that I had done nothing.

"Yoo man relax she looks like a sweetheart" the annoying boy added. "You get out of it George, you don't know what she did" he argued. "What did I do? I didn't even know this was your house I came as a replacement last minute" I asked confused. He came closer to me and whispered: "Don't care, because of you Chris didn't attend my birthday and I'm going to make you regret it Sarah, Now get lost". His voice brought shivers to my body. And I started getting flashbacks.

"Dad please" I was silenced with a kick to my stomach. "The next time I order you to do something you do it understood" he shouted. I nodded. He grabbed me from the floor from my hair. " You answer when I talk to you Sara UNDERSTAND!!" He whispered in my ear.

I was brought back to reality by Alex's voice. "GET LOST" he shouted.

I nodded not saying a word. And started walking away my eyes were watering I wanted to storm off but I needed this money or I'd get the beating of my life.

I was serving another table when Alex talked into the microphone. " um can I get everyone's attention please, like you guys can see Chris my best friend isn't here. And that's all to one girl, so if you wanna know her punishment be at the school cafeteria directly after the bell rings" Alex said looking at everyone but me.

What is he going to do? These people don't joke. I thought to myself.

I entered the house holding the beers in my hands. "Oh look who is here? When you want to do something you do it you know it right? It wasn't that hard right?" Dad said mockingly. I didn't answer him I was so tired of arguments. "Here Dad" I said handing him the beers and heading to my room.

I lay on the bed looking at the ceiling. What will Alex do? it wasn't my fault I did nothing. I slept thinking about what would happen tomorrow.

I was looking in the mirror I didn't want to go but Dad would kill me if he found out I skipped school. I grabbed my bag and headed to the door.

"Don't you look at the mirror before you go out, you look like a homeless person?" Dad said eyeing me up and down disgustingly. I wish I could say to him that is because he burnt half of my clothes because I forgot to iron his, But I couldn't so I said nothing. Again.

I was walking to my class but everyone was looking at me with pity eyes or a smirk. Okay, words go fast in this school.. It happened yesterday and know its like the third period and everyone knows!

Then suddenly someone pumped into me. "Hey watch where you going, man!!" I shouted. "No, you watch out girl. Oh woah, that's you the famous girl, Alex will make you regret living today" he answered with a smirk on his face and walked away.

His words were like a sting. I felt like I was walking into an unknown area where everyone hated me. But I have no other choice but to enter because anything is better than going home.

I entered the class and sat on my seat and started drawing. I was still feeling like my dad who was talking to me. 'YOU WILL REGRET IT' these words will hunt me.
