I don't know how I arrived there, but I'm there and that's all that matters. I entered the gym to find Alex on the corner of the gym on the floor hugging his knees, and rocking himself. I knelt to his level and he jumped, guess he didn't notice me coming.

"I swe-ar we only dunked her three times I didn't mean to do this we usually do it eigh-t-t times for the boys, s-o I figured out four times are go-od , I didn't mean to KILL HER!" He screamed the last part. I hugged him tight and he hugged me back. "It's okay man breath you didn't kill anyone I'll help you okay?"I reassured him. He nodded.

I left his side and went to Sara. She was tied unconscious on the chair. Her head was tilted to the side and her eyes were closed. She looked like a dead person.

I removed the hair from her neck and checked her pulse she was unconscious but differently alive. I breathed a sigh of relief. Her neck was so red, rhe probably held her from there when dunking her.

I untied her and carried her gently to Alex's car. I stood in front of the car and looked at Alex waiting for him to open the car. He was looking at me with a panicked face. "What are you doing open the DAMN DOOR!" I screamed at him, to get back to reality. "Is she alive?" He asked. "Yes she is but we have to take her to my aunt's house I will direct you" he sighed a sigh of relief and mouthed me the words "thanks man".

He quickly opened the door and I placed her gently on the back seat and slided next to her resting her head on my lap.

We arrived at my aunt's house after about 10 min. I carried her toward the door and Alex rang the bell.

"Okay don't worry guys she is alive but can someone tell me what the hell happened to the poor girl, she looks horrible. And I only checked her head and hands, I don't know if she will be comfortable with a stranger touching her" my aunt explained.

I panicked I hadn't figured that she would ask this. But I quickly replied. "You see I forgot my bag in the school gym. So I went to get it and carried Alex along with me like I always do" I chuckled slightly trying to lighten up the mood. "And when we arrived we found her lying there on the ground, we rushed and helped her" I continued with my lie.

She gave me a look but then smiled at me. " I love you more kid when you help people" she gave me another smile. Guilt builds up in my chest. But I forced a smile back.

"Do you guys know her house?" She asked. "Yeah yeah I'm going to take her" Alex looked at me with a confused face. "Thanks, Miss Julie" Alex thanked her before heading to the door.

I carried Sara bridal style towards the car. And seated her in the same position as earlier.

Alex started the engine and looked at me through the mirror. "Why do you know her house?" He smirked. "Of course, I don't know her house but I had to take her somewhere else before she woke up and Aunt learned the truth idiot!" I said to him sharply. "Oh," that was all he said. "Take us to Chris's house" I ordered. He looked at me shocked but then nodded. He knows this is the right decision.

Sara was still unconscious. She was laying on Chris's coach. His parents are out on vacation so he was home alone.

Alex was swirling around the room panicking. "Why haven't woke up yet, its been about 6 hours!" He panicked. "Man relax aunt said she will wake up she is probably tired" I answered.

"Because of who?" Chris asked rolling his eyes. "It is because of you! You are the one that ditched your best friend's birthday because of a girl you don't even know!" Alex shouted at him.

Chris looked at him in shock." You did this because I didn't attend your birthday?" He asked. "Of course Chris, you never miss my birthday, because you have something!" He answered recalling Chris's excuse. " I discovered my da-d" Chris said his voice breaking a bit at the end, and his eyes watered. Chris never cries.

"Chris, what did you discover?" I asked confused."nothing,"he said quickly replacing the sad look on his face with an angry one, wiping away his tears.

Suddenly we heard whimpering, and we all snatched our heads to where Sara was laying. She woke up.

She tried getting up but failed miserably. Chris tried helping her but she flinched away and hissed in the process. "Please I'm so tired of doing this all over again, do your thing tomorrow" she begged. She looked like she was in so much pain.

Chris backed out but he looked, hurt. "I'm not going to hurt you, I was trying to help you up" he said slowly. You can hear the hurt clearly in his voice. She just looked at him.

She tried getting up again and succeeded this time. Suddenly the look on her face changed from worry to straight fear. I stared at her confused, shouldn't what he said be reassuring?

She was searching for her stuff like a maniac "What happened to me and where is my phone?" She asked fully panicking now. "

You blacked out and we took you to my aunt and now you are in Chris's house, she only examined your head and palms she figured you won't be comfortable with a stranger touching you while you are unconscious" I answered. "Ah and about your phone it's here," I said holding her phone in the air.

She quickly grabbed it and looked at the clock. "Oh no no I'm so late, dad will be so mad" she panicked. I looked at my phone it was about 11 o'clock, it is really not that late.

"What happened Cinderella will daddy get mad if you are late and ground you?" Alex mocked. "Alex give me a break please " she pleaded. "Alex leave her alone, isn't it enough what you already did" Chris shouted. "Stop! Please my head is about to explode'' she pleaded again holding her head and collapsed to the sofa. I went near. "Don't!" She said and I backed out.

After a few minutes she got up and headed to the door. "Wait let me drive you" Chris told her "No it's okay thanks " Sarah answered with a small smile.

"Can you just stop being a brat for one second and let us help you, we are not gonna kill you or something," I told her. "you tried to kill me 7 hours ago don't you remember or are you just plain self-centred" she answered rolling her eyes, but quickly realised what she said and closed her mouth with her hand. Alex glared daggers through her. She bit the inside of her mouth and her eyes started watering.

Why does she cry in everything? Like really grow up you aren't in kindergarten.

"Just please let me drive you," Chris said. "Okay," she finally accepted. "See it wasn't that hard was it?!" I asked. "Guys knock it off" Chris ordered us with a warning glare. If you don't know Chris when he says something in that tone you have to do it. You don't wanna mess with that.

(Surprise guys a new POV)

I was driving Sara to her home. She was looking out of the window zoning out. Her whole body was shaking. "Is she okay?" I thought to myself.

"Sara" I called her. She didn't answer me "Sara are you okay?" I called her again. I extended my hand and touched her, she flinched away but quickly recovered.

Okay what Alex did was scary but not that scary. " Oh I'm sorry I zoned out" she replied. "Are you okay?" I asked "Yeah yeah I'm fine" she replied giving a small which was definitely fake, before looking out of the window again.

"It is the second house to the left but I will get off here please," she said pointing to a house the house looked a bit rough from the outside but who am I to judge not everybody comes from a filthy family, so I ignored it.

"Why let me drop you there" I argued. " No no just here please dad will not like it if I came home with a boy" she explained. I nodded my head. She took a deep breath before getting out of the car.

The moment she entered her house. I heard shouting coming from her house. She was serious about her dad getting mad. It is very hard to find someone that has strict dads in this generation, it's like parents don't raise their kids anymore they let society raise them. So I didn't think much of it.

I drove off.
