Chapter 10

(Gabriel)

I stood up when I saw Ash out the corner of my eye a wave of relief came over me when I felt her wrap her arm around my waist pulling me into her. I sighed automatically relaxing at her touch and leaning into her. Both Declan and Ash were glaring at each other. Ash looked down at me

"You ok" she asked worriedly I nodded. Declan took a step closer to me making me lean more into Ash.

"Declan stay away from her you already done enough" I heard Ash say Declan chuckled and smiled down at me.

"Gabriel you didn't enjoy it I see" He leaned in closer I felt Ash grip tighten on my waist

"Don't worry next time I'll have the honor of doing it myself" he whispered I stiffened as images flashed through my head from last Friday. Ash took a step closer to Declan, I could tell by her stance that she was about to do something I pulled her back.

"Come on Ash he's not worth it" I mumbled she was still glaring at him he smirked at me a reach his hand out a pulled strand of hair out my face and tucked it behind my ear making me flinch Ash grabbed his wrist and bent it back. 
"Keep your hands off of her and if I see you anywhere near her you'll end up like your two little friends, but unlike them every fucking bone in your body will be broken" Ash growled at him, bending his wrist further back. I looked at Declan, Ash was hurting him, know matter how hard he tried to hide it you could tell that he was in pain.

"Do you understand" she asked when Declan didn't respond she bent his wrist further back, all of the blood drained from his face as he nodded.

"I can't hear you"

"Yeah"

"Good and I mean it I do not even want you looking at her" she hissed at him giving his wrist one last tug backward causing Declan to grunt in pain as he glared at her. She let go of his wrist and stepped back next to me wrapping her arm back around my waist as Declan brushed past me holding his wrist and left the cafeteria. I let out a sigh of relief I turned to my friends who were looking confused as they stared at Ash and I along with half of the cafeteria.

(ASH POV)

I hadn't realized that most of the cafeteria was quite and watching us after what just happened until Gabriel started to squirm under their gaze I looked at her to see tinges of pink on her cheeks. She leaned further into me and I pulled her closer.

"Can we go I don't like people staring at me" She muttered embarrassed I let go of her and grabbed her bag from off the floor. I looked at her friend Samantha who was smirking I don't know why she was, but I smiled back at her.

"I'll be borrowing her I'll bring her back before 7th period" she nodded her head; I took Gabriel's hand taking her out the cafeteria and to my car.

"Where are we going" she asked once I pulled out the parking lot

"Somewhere and everywhere" I chuckled as we stopped at a red light

"That's not funny Please tell me" she whined I shook my head

"Nope just ride," I told her she pouted and was quite for the rest of the ride I pulled into a parking space in front of the store.

"Come on Gabriel we are here" I watched as she looked out the window with wide twinkling eyes she squealed and jumped out the car I laughed and followed her.

"Cold Stone my favorite Ice cream Shoppe" she gave me a hug and pulled back.

"Why did we come here" she asked I rolled my eyes

"Because daddy promised to come here if you were a good little girl" I teased as I took her hand and pulled her inside.

(Gabriel POV)

I love Cold stone they have the best ice cream in the world. Ash and I ordered our ice cream.

"Can I have Our Strawberry Blonde"

"What size?" the lady asked looking bored behind the counter

"I gotta have it?" Ash looked at me questionably

"You sure you're going to eat it all it's a lot" I nodded my head vigorously

"If you say so I'll get the Chocolate Devotion same size" The lady made our ice cream and handed it to us as Ash paid for it even though I told her I had money.

When we got our order we sat down and ate. I took a scope of ice cream and put it my mouth, I moaned as all of the flavors combined into something great.

"Ash this is so good" she laughed at me

"I can tell you sound like you're having a an orgasm over there" I flushed red

"That because you don't know what this taste like it's delicious" she looked at my food with distaste.

"Strawberry Ice cream is nasty"

"Hey don't knock until you try it here" I scooped up another spoon full of it and held it out to her she shook her head.

"Come on its not that bad it's really good" I pushed the spoon closer to her and she shook her head and back up. Fine if she doesn't want to taste it I'll make her taste it I pulled my foot back and kicked in her shin she opened her mouth to yelp but I shoved my spoon in it before she could. She looked at me shocked while I smiled at her.

"I'm sorry my foot slipped" I told her innocently she swallowed the ice cream.

"And I'm guessing you had an arm spasm too" She glared I laughed.

"Yup it happens sometimes it's a medical thing.... so did you like it?"

"It was ok," She mumbled eating her ice cream my smile widened

"I knew you would like it, who wouldn't like it, it's the best"

"I said it was ok I didn't say it was the best because mine is the best" she smirked at me and I frowned at her and she laughed.

"No its not"

"Don't knock until you try it," She said in a high pitched voice I glared at her

"I do not sound like that"

"Yea you do here" She held out her spoon I looked at it then at her.

"Come on open your mouth for daddy" she smiled putting the spoon closer to my mouth. I reluctantly opened my mouth she put the spoon in my mouth, I clamped down in the spoon, yum this is good I couldn't help, but close my eyes and savor the sweet taste as she took the spoon out. I opened my eyes to see her smirking at me with a look of I told you so. I huffed eating my delicious ice cream.

"It's wasn't that good" I mumbled to her she laughed at me

"If you say so" we finished eating our ice cream, well I ate some of hers when she wasn't looking, but she'll never know.

(ASH POV)

I'm beginning to regret getting Gabriel that ice cream I looked over at her, to see that she bouncing her way to the car as we walked out the ice cream shop, she has a huge sugar rush I knew I should have gotten her a smaller size but she insisted that she would eat it all which she did. Not to mention she was stealing some of my ice cream when she thought I wasn't looking and now the ice cream was starting to take its effects now. I drove to the park hoping she could let off some energy before we had to go back to school I parked the truck and got out. Gabriel ran straight to the swing sets I laughed as I made my way over there sitting down on the swing next to her watching as her blonde locks wrapped around her face as she pumped her legs back and forth grinning like a child.

"Ash push me I want to go higher "she whined I smiled and stood up and pushed her higher and higher till she started screaming that it was going to high this of course I didn't stop me I have to enjoy myself to you know. I kept pushing her higher for a few more second laughing as I grabbed hold of the swing stopping her.

She turned around and glared at me "It's not funny Ash" she said breathing heavy trying to catch her breath.

"Yea it was" I was still laughing as she continued to glare I glance at my watch.

"Lighten up we have 20 minutes to get back to school" I told her as she swung her feet back and forth playing with the dirt.

'Oh thanks again Ash" she started to swing again

"And as always it's no problem you've been a magnet for trouble lately" I watched her, she looked like a little kids as she giggled

"It's not my fault"

"Hmm" she pumped her legs harder "look out below" She yelled jumping off the swing I laughed at her as she face planted into the woodchips. I ran over to her.

"Nice landing" I laughed at her as she groaned she was covered in woodchips and dirt.

"Shut up, you're not supposed to laugh at me, you're supposed ask me if I am ok" she grumbled as I helped her up.

"Now where would the the fun be in that" She brushed herself off mumbling under her breath while I helped her take the chips out her hair.

"Come on Evil Knievel I think you had enough fun for one day" I said still laughing at her sour expression. We got back in the car and headed back to school in a comfortable silence. Once we got back I parked the car and looked over at Gabriel who was leaning against the window asleep. I guess she is experiencing her crash I smiled and looked down at my watch we had almost an hour and a half before school ends I guess we can stay here until it's over with and I'm not going to wake her up I put my phone alarm on and leaned back in my chair and took me a nap.

( Gabriel POV)

I woke up to someone poking me.

"Leave me alone" I groaned at them swatting their hands away.

"Get up Gabby I have practice" I groaned again and looked over at her.

"Ash leave me alone and go to practice then, I'll just stay here and  sleep" I closed my eyes again. She sighed before I heard her get out the car. Finally I leaned by head back on the door only to have the door retched open. She lifted me out the truck as if I didn't weigh anything and put me down.

"C'mon Ash just a few more minutes we can miss class" she shook her head

"Nope and we already missed the rest of our classes cause I let you sleep" she grabbed my bags while I looked at her.

"What do you mean we missed the rest of the classes!!" I screeched she looked at me. I just noticed that the parking lot was already empty except for a few cars and students still lingering around.

"As in I let you sleep so we skipped the rest of the classes" she said slowly

"Why didn't you wake me up I had a test last period" I asked she looked at me

"First you want to sleep and miss class, but when I tell you, you missed class because you slept you get mad! Make up your mind women and you didn't tell me about a test" she grumbled at me walking me to my car I didn't say anything back as I got in the driver's seat I rolled down the window she had her eyebrow raised smirking at me.

I glared and stuck out my tongue before driving off I glance in my mirror to see her laughing I smiled and went home.

(ASH POV)

"What happened in the cafeteria today and where did you go" Sean asked as we ran our laps

"Nothing Declan being an ass and nowhere" I told him

"Didn't look like nothing it looked like you were about to murder the kid" I shrugged

"You would too if you knew" I muttered running ahead and finishing my laps without him. I went back inside the locker room grabbed my bags and left. I just remembered that I have to call Aly and ask her what happened to Carey.
