(Gabriel POV)

Ok so maybe being spontaneous with my outfit today wasn't such a good idea. I've been through my dresser and closet twice and had tried on over ten outfits. I can't find anything to wear. I plop down on my bed and look at my now messy room covered in clothes. I look at the time I have approximately 20 minutes to get dressed before Ash comes and picks me up I sigh and go back over to my closet, I guess I will be simple I grabbed a pair of jean shorts and a white strapless shirt with a pair of white flip flops. I added some eyeliner, lip gloss and a looked in the mirror. I guess this will do I left my hair in its natural waves before grabbing my bag.

"Gabriel your ride is here" My mom shouted from downstairs I ran downstairs and said goodbye to my sister and Mother.

"Hey Ash" I greeted her as I got in the car she look me up and down and smiled.

"What's up" she pulled out the drive way and we headed to school. I took in her appearance she had on her navy blue basketball team jackets and with the matching pants, which had panthers and 13 on the front.

"Look at you in your little basketball clothes" I smirked at her as she laughed

"I know I look good don't I" She stated grinning I shook my head.

"Don't get ahead of yourself buddy" I told her she laughed at me as we pulled into the school parking lot.

I opened the door and got out the car walking ahead of Ash, who was just standing there staring at me. i rolled my eyes and walked away

"You can't just leave me" I heard her yell.

"Then stop staring at me and come on" I turned around and laughed, hearing her run up behind me.

"You know that wasn't very nice" she said bumping me slightly I laughed

When we got in the school there were navy blue banners everywhere with the words panthers on it. I guess that's the school mascot I should probably know that by now but oh well all of the students were walking around in their navy blue clothes some even had the schools jersey on. I looked down at myself and sighed. No one ever tells me anything.

(Ash POV)

I watched as Gabriel got out the car. Damn the girl has some legs on her especially in those shorts. I can see all the guys staring at her as she walked past them toward the school I frowned at them and called out to her

"Hey you can't just leave" I watched as she turned towards me and laughed before walking away.

"Then stop staring and come on" She replied laughing as she turned back around damn she caught me.

"You know that wasn't very nice" I told her bumping into her as we enter the school which was covered in banners as usual I looked down at Gabriel to see her looking at her outfit and everyone's else outfits. Oops I forgot to tell her to wear blue today I'm pretty sure everyone here is going to wearing blue today.

"Gabriel I have to go talk to the coach I'll probably see you at lunch" she sighed and nodded before walking off looking lost in thought, I chuckled at her before going to the gym where the team was sitting around talking.

"Davis why aren't you wearing your shoes" the coach asked I looked down at my feet.

"It's in my bag coach" I said pointing to my bag on my shoulder.

"Ok get over there we have the game and the pep rally to discuss" he said I nodded and my way over to the team.

" What's up  you're kind of late" Sean said as I sat down

"I know I had to pick up Gabriel this morning. What did I miss?" I took off my shoes and changed into the ones they gave us.

"We having a student vs. teacher basketball game, but you don't have play if you don't want to" I nodded looking over at the cheerleaders who were practicing.

"Why are they here?" I asked nodding my head towards the cheerleaders.

"Um they're cheering obviously" I rolled my eyes at him

"You know what I mean" he laughed at me

"I don't know the coach said we needed to help out with hanging stuff up in here"

"Alright boys get up, hang the banners and get started on the setting up the booths in the hall way" the coach yelled at us. We stood up and went to work god this is going to be a long day.

(Gabriel POV)

"Gabriel why aren't  you wearing the school colors" Jenna asked scolding me I frowned at her.

"Maybe because you all forgot to tell me that we are supposed to wear school colors" I narrowed my eyes at all of them.

"Well I thought you would know because you know it's a pep rally" Jenna explained I looked at her.

"You've got to be kidding me" I looked over their outfits Amber had a football jersey on and shorts, Jenna had a simple navy blue tank top on with jean shorts, and Samantha had on a navy blue lacoste polo with a shorts.

"Well if it makes you feel any better you look cute today and the boys are practically eye raping you" Samantha said looking at my outfit with a smirk. I huffed

"No that doesn't make me feel better I feel out everyone wearing blue" I whined Amber looked at me.

"Well at least you're not wearing an opposing team color" she said reassuringly

"Yea cause that makes me feel so much better" I mumbled looking down at my plate.

"Ash come here a sec" I heard Jenna shout I looked up to see Ash walking over towards us with a hammer.

"Yea what's up"

"Cheer her up she's all mopey and pitiful" Jenna said Ash turned to me confused while Jenna explained the whole situation.

"Oh that's ...I forgot to tell you this morning" Ash said smiling at me while I glared at her.

"You picked me up you could have told me to wear the school colors I could have changed now I stick out like a sore thumb" I whined to her

"It must have slipped my mind" she muttered hitting her head softly with the hammer.

"That doesn't help now" I mumbled to her, she looked like she was thinking.

"I have an idea" She unzipped her team jacket and took it off and sat it on the table then proceeded to take off her Jersey leaving her in a navy blue spandex under amour muscle shirt, which I must say it look really, really good on her lean and toned body.

"Here you can wear these" she handed me the jacket and jersey smirking.

"Don't you need the jersey for the game" she shook her head.

"No that's the practice jersey we wear before the game my other jersey is in the gym" she explained

"So why were you wearing this one?" I asked

"The guys tend to spill stuff on them before the game so coach made us wear these instead" I nodded my head understanding.

"Ash can I touch it" Jenna asked excitedly we all looked at her weird.

"Umm what are you talking about" Ash asked looking unsure if she wanted the answer. Jenna pointed to her stomach and Ash raised her eyebrows at her.

"No you can look but don't touch" Jenna eyes widen in excitement waiting Ash laughed at her.

"Go on I'm waiting" Ash shook her head

"I was just playing no you can't see or touch" Jenna pouted "you're no fun Ash" I shook my head at them for some reason I was relieved that Ash didn't let her touch her.

"I have to go finish fixing a booth" she said she smiled at us.

"Thanks Ash" she smirked at me

"No problem" she ruffled my hair earning her a glare from me as she laughed and walked away.

"I guess that solved your problem" Amber said I nodded pulling the jersey over my head followed by putting the jacket on. The sleeves were way too long but I'm not going to complain.

"Gabriel did you see her abs through the shirt I wanted to touch them so bad" Jenna said sighing looking in the direction where Ash went I shook my head at her.

"Jenna if I didn't know you I swear I would think you were gay" Samantha said while I and Amber nodded in agreement.

"Hey you can't deny the fact that the girl is hot with a majorly nice 6 pack going on under that shirt, you could practically see it through that lovely spandex shirt she was wearing not to mention when she took off the jersey you could see the muscles contradicting in her arms and stomach" she said dreamingly before she was interrupted.

"Well I'm glad you all think I'm hot with a nice body" Ash said from behind Jenna who blushed turning around to see Ash smiling .

"Actually she said it not us" I explained Ash chuckled and smirk at me.

"Oh so you think I'm ugly now" She asked

"Umm that doesn't matter, why are you back" I asked avoiding the question I definitely wasn't going to say no and give her ego another boost.

"Don't avoid my question" she smirked as she sat down next to me "and I left my phone in my pocket" she reached over me and unzipped the pocket and dug out her phone.

"I'm not avoiding your question" I told her moving over so I could give her more room.

"Then answer it" she said grinning at me

"Well I guess you're average" I told her smiling as she frowned at me nodding.

"Average just average," she mumbled looking at me as I nodded agreeing she smirked at me.

"I'm not average practically all of the girls in the school want me"

"The truth hurts Ash" She frowned at me looking around.

"Hey girl with the brown hair" she called out the girl looked at her and pointed to herself.

"Yea come here for a sec" the girl nodded and smiled at Ash.

"Yes Ash" she said flipping her hair and batting her eyes, is something in her eye?

"Well Gabriel here said I'm average, looks wise do you think I'm average" she asked smirking at the girl.

"Of course not you're the hottest girl in the school" she replied simply looking at me smugly.

"See Gabriel I told you" she grinned at me triumphantly as I frowned she didn't have to do that to prove a point.

"Whatever you say Ash"

"Is that all you need Ash" the girl asked touching her shoulder Ash turned around , looked her over and nodded.

"Yea you can go" the girl looked disappointed and left glaring at me.

"Ash look what you did again now I have another person hating me" I huffed at her and she laughed throwing her arm over my shoulder.

(Ash POV)

"Don't worry your knight in shining armor will protect you" I told her grinning down at her. She turned to her friends.

"Um do guys see my knight in shining armor around her" she asked looking around laughing.

"That was mean I guess I'll just leave seeing as though I'm not appreciated" I said standing up ignoring Gabriel as she continued to laugh at me.

"Ash wait" She said standing up grabbing my arm I looked at her smirking.

"What"

"Maybe you can help me find my knight" I frowned as she smiled at me.

"That's a low blow to my pride" I told her she laughed slightly

"You mean the much needed blow to your pride" She said nodding her head I scratched my head.

"It didn't need a blow" she laughed at that

"Yes you did your getting a little cocky don't you think" I shrugged

"I can't help if girls swoon when they see me" She shook her head sighing

"Not every girl swoons when they see you"

"Yes they do for example your three little friends" I said looking at them smirking as they all blushed, Gabriel turned to them in shock.

"Gabriel it happened once freshmen year it was the first day of school and we thought she was a guy plus she had a girl wrapped around her arm" Samantha explained to her as the others nodded their heads confirming.

"Can you blame us look at her" I heard Jenna mumble under her breath I smirked back at Gabriel who still looked surprised.

"Really you guys" she said they looked at her frowning.

"You have no room to talk we saw you the first day" Samantha told her.

"Yea we saw you flirting with her so we weren't the only ones fooled" Amber said smirking as Gabriel blushed. I laughed at her.

"I was not flirting with her" She told them crossing her arms

"Yes you were don't deny it we all saw you miss I let her buy me lunch" I watched as she grew red again and avoided my gaze as I put my arm around her shoulder and smirked at them I opened my mouth to speak but Sean interrupted me

"Ash this is where you were, stop flirting the coach wants you" he said I nodded.

"I'm not flirting" I mumbled to him as he turned to Gabriel.

"Sorry got to take your girl away duty calls" he told

"I'm not her girl "

"She not my girl we're just friends" We both said at the same time he looked from me and Gabriel and shrugged his shoulders.

"Could have fooled me" he muttered pushing me away

"Don't get anything on my jersey or Jacket" I yelled out to her she waved me off before sitting back down.

"Dude the conversation was getting interesting" He looked at me funny

"Whatever we've been looking for you for the past half an hour the pep rally starts in like ten minutes" he explained I was in there for 30 minutes I didn't realize that I guess it's true time flies when you're having fun. When we got to the gym everything was already set up. It was simple Navy blue balloons were everywhere and banners were tapped on the wall. Wait what that I looked closely at the ball scattered around the place.

"Hey Sean what are the beach balls for " I asked he looked at the balls and shook his head at me.

"For the bikini contest" he said I smiled

"Cool we're having a bikini contest that's awesome" I exclaimed excitedly.

"Ash you really need to pay attention and come on time" I looked at him confused as he started to explain.

I looked at him shocked and he laughed.

"Now go fix that banner" he said I frowned at him out of freaking things in the world this I groaned as I went to help.

(Gabriel POV)

"Good afternoon schools are you ready for the pep rally" the principle yelled into the mic all of the students stood up and cheered. The whole school was in the gym sitting on the bleachers Me, Samantha, Jenna and Amber were sitting right in the front for some reason

"Good this year we will be doing something different, but I can't tell you until its time but anyway let's get this thing started" Once again every one cheered including Jenna who was probably the loudest one here. The band came out playing the hey song followed by the cheerleaders and the panther mascot who was running around getting the crowd wild. I turned to my left seeing Jenna along with the crowd screaming 'Hey' did I mention she painted her face blue along with half the student in the school. She tried to do me, but I refused so did Amber and Samantha. I turned back around to the band as they continued to play hey as the basketball team came running out cheering. I saw Ash running around and laughing along with Sean jumping around in front of the crowd getting them pumped up. I laughed at her as they came in our direction pulling us up from our seats.

"Come on people it's a pep rally get up" she yelled at them smiling and laughing before moving on to the other side of the gym yelling Hey along with the crowd pumping her fist.

"Is she always, like this" I asked Samantha she nodded

"I think every year she get more excited, but at least she's not like Jenna" we turned to Jenna and she was still screaming and chanting the song while dancing to the rhythm of it.

After everything was over everyone quieted down as the principle spoke again.

"Freshman and sophomore stay inside and juniors and seniors go outside for the frozen t-shirt contest" everyone shouted and started to walk off. Ash and her friends came over.

"Gabriel sexy, how are you" Alex said winking at me not this again

" I told you to leave her alone" Ash told him punching him in his arm Alex mumbled something and rubbed his arm.

"So what is a frozen t-shirt contest?" I asked

"Basically they freeze a t shirt over night and let it thaw out a little then we pick 3 people from the juniors and seniors to see which team, but the t shirt on fastest" Ash explained well that sounds easy, she must have known what I thought cause she looked at me and smiled

"Its not as easy as you think , I did it last year the shirt is still frozen and stuck together so I had to hit against the floor and pull it apart by the end of it I was freezing and wet"

"yea you should have seen her on the stage she was hitting the shirt on the ground like a mad man and when she finally got part of it on the sleeves were still stuck together she was pissed off when she had to take it off again and to top it off she lost and she was moping the rest of the day" Aly said laughing at Ash as she glared at her.

"I told you never to mention that again and I was not moping" She told her as we all laughed at her

"Ok Ash if you say so" we made our way over to the stage which was crowded I couldn't see a thing from where I was standing. I looked up at Ash she was clearly watching whatever was happening that's not fair she can see everything.

(Ash POV)

I heard Gabriel huff I looked down at her realizing she couldn't see anything we were pretty far back, I could see perfectly find. I sighed and grabbed Gabriel's hand and pulled her with me as I pushed my way through the crowd to the front. When we made it the front I put her in front of me.

"Thanks Ash even though you pushed everyone out the way" She said smiling at me.

"I didn't push I causally moved them aside" I told her smirking as she turned around and shook her head watching as the contest began, this year I refused to do it even though people insisted on me, but I didn't want to I was already going to do something embarrassing already no need to do another thing.

"Hey isn't that Alex" she asked pointing to the stage I looked at who she was pointing to and I be darn it was Alex he was blowing on a shirt trying to melt it I laughed at him.

"Yea that's him he's such an idiot sometimes" I told her she was also laughing as he continued to blow on the shirt.

"Well he is your friend"

"I'm starting to rethink that now" she laughed

"Can we check out the rest of this place before we have to go back in?" I nodded grabbing her hand again pulling her out the crowd again we saw our friends standing on the outskirts talking as we made our way to them.

"Aly your friend is on the stage" I told her she looked toward the stage and laughed.

"Oh man he's worse than you were" I sighed and glared at her as she laughed.

"Well I'm going to show Gabriel the rest of the booths"

"Behave you two and use protection" She yelled out causing people to turn around and eye us. Gabriel turned red while I mumbled a few curse words pulling Gabriel away I need new friends.

"Sorry about that" I mumbled to her running my hand through my hair.

"I have no comment" she said as we made our way past the booths looking at each one until we stopped in front of one.

"Lets do this one" she said excitedly I looked at the sign and smirked at her.

"Are you sure" she nodded

"Ok" I signed us up and we stood in line this should be fun talking about random things laughing as we were next in line.

"Ash we have to win" she told me as I tied our legs together for the three legged race.

"I know Gabriel you told me this about five times and you don't have to worry about me"

"But Ash we have to win I never won a three legged race before" She whined I nodded and put my arm around her shoulder.

"Ok just keep up" I told her she nodded looking at our competition I didn't recognize them but I had a feeling we were going to beat them. We waited for the guy to blow his whistle.

"Are you guys ready" he asked we all nodded he blew his whistle and we were off. We ran through the obstacle course we were a few inches behind the two people in front of us.

"Ash we're falling behind" she whined as we tried to speed up. This isn't going to work, I thought as we continued running getting closer to the team in front of us.

"I know can you run faster" I asked she nodded and we picked up the speed, we went around the cone I could feel her slowing down.

"Gabriel you could have said you weren't fit this is why you never win" she frowned but kept running.

"Shut up Ash I just want win" she whined

"Then run" I told her she nodded as she picked up her paced we reached the two people in front of us as we swerved through the cones. We finally past them but Gabriel had to be the one to look behind her.

"Ash we're winning" she said excitedly as she said that, she tripped on something I tried to steady her but we both were pulled down. I landed on my back followed by Gabriel landing on top of me knocking the wind out of me and hitting me on my chin with her head I groaned as she sat up looking at me our faces were inches apart as I stared into her eyes as she bit her lip and looked down at my lips.

"hey you guys ok" I heard someone yell in the distance breaking our trance talk about awkward I gave him a thumbs up.

"Oopsy sorry" she blushed rubbing her forehead I laughed awkwardly and moved her off of me.

"You have a hard head" I told her rubbing my chin.

"Shut up we lost" she whined again

"It was your fault miss I want to turn around while running" I told her as I untied our legs I heard her huff.

"Well you told me to run faster so I did" I sighed as she continued to whine.

"Maybe next time we'll have better luck" I stood up a held out my hand she took it and stood up I smiled at her as she dust herself off.

"Come on we have to head back to the gym" she still looked a little sad as we made our way to the gym.

(Gabriel POV)

I'm such an idiot' thinking back on when I fell on Ash not only did I fall on her I stayed there a stared at her with our faces only inches apart my gaze even drifted down to her lips thankfully we were interrupted by the guy. It was an awkward moment I blushed thinking about how embarrassing it was, but I'm mad that we didn't win the race even though it was partially my fault for turning around. I felt Ash wrap her arm around me as we walked back to the gym.

"Cheer up Gabriel there's always next time" she told me smiling I frowned at her.

"That what everyone always tells me" I told her pouting she shook her head at me

"Well I don't know what else to tell you Gabby" She said grinning at me

"Gabby" I asked she nodded she only calls me that when we're playing around

"Your name is a mouthful so I'm calling you Gabby from now on" I frowned at her my name is not a mouthful she laughed at me taking me over to my friends before leaving to do something.

"So what did you two lovers do" Jenna asked I rolled my eyes.

"We are not lovers and we played a 3 legged race which we lost" I told them I really wanted to win.

"Ok we have a special surprise for you guys" the principle said in the Mic.

"Before the students v.s teacher we organized a bikini contest" the crowd cheered and let out wolf whistle.

"Settle down, here are your contestants" he pointed to the students behind him they were all the girls from cheerleading squad.

"Now when they come back out we will vote for best bikini" he said the students cheered again as they went off the stage to change.

"Where is my camera when I need it" Alex mumbled

"Alex you're such a pervert" Aly shoved him out of his seat.

"No I'm not, be quiet its starting" I looked toward the door where one cheerleader came out wearing a yellow string bikini the boys in the crowd hooted and hollered including Alex. The girl walked across the make shift stage and posed and walked to the side. The same thing happened for the next 3 girls.

"Now for the finally come on out girls" the principle shouted we looked toward the locker room doors as they opened the whole basketball team came out with towels wrapped around their waist and stuffed bikini tops. The crowd roared with laughter while taking pictures as they made their way up the stage somewhere smiling and waving to the crowd while others looked embarrassed like Sean for instance he was smiling and jumping around on the stage I looked for Ash but she wasn't up there I saw the principle whisper something in the coach ear and he looked around shaking his head before going over to the locker room yelling something.

"seems we are missing the captain of the team out here" the principle said making the crowd laugh. This should be funny to watch .

"Oh man ash in a bikini this should be good" Aly said pulling out her phone so she could take pictures.

"Make sure you send me some pictures to" Alex and Jenna said laughing as they watched the coach continue to yell in the locker room.

(Ash POV)

"Ash you look fine in fact you look hot" Sean said I cringed at him in disgust as I plopped down on the bench by the lockers away from the team.

"No I refuse to go out there like this I don't see why I can't wear what you are wearing this isn't fair" I told him crossing my arms.

"Because your captain and if you were here when we had the meeting the guys would have never thought of this up" he said as we heard the principle give the cue for the basketball team to come out.

"Cmon ash we gotta go" he said I shook my head.

"You can't make me" I told him he sighed before leaving ha I won I looked down at what I was wearing I groaned before standing up and looking in the mirror pulling on the strings of the black bikini they made me wear. I don't know why I cant put on the towel like everyone else they even had swim trunks on under the towel but I had to have the whole bikini on and to top that they put a long black wig on me making me look like a girl even though I'm a girl but that not the point. I took off the wig and sat down only to be interrupted by none other than the coach.

"Davis get your ass out here now" he yelled

"No I'm not coming out" I yelled back

"Don't make me come in there and drag you out here" he yelled back

"I'm never coming out leave me alone" I screamed as he came in and looked at me laughing slightly.

"See I'm not going out there"

"Yes you are if you want to play in the game tonight" ha he got me there he knew I wanted to play in the game I sighed and stood up.

"Don't forget your wig" he said walking out I bent down and groaned putting it back on before heading to back to gym door.

I looked out the locker room window on the door and sighed I can do this just keep my head up. I breathe in and opened the door.

(Gabriel POV)

"You guys here she comes" Jenna said excitedly the whole gym quieted down watching as the locker room door open revealing Ash in a black string bikini and a long black wig. I have to admit she actually looked really good even though the packs kind of threw you off a little but other than that I'm pretty sure if she wasn't gay she would have all of the guys after her. I took a quick picture of her with my phone before putting it away.

"Damn she's hot" I heard Alex mumble under his breath I turned to him and he had his mouth opened looking at her.

"Alex this is Ash you're talking about" Aly told him

"I know but I didn't think she would look good as a female" he said looking at her with disbelief along with have of the school who was still quiet as she made her way up the stairs to the stage she went and stood next to Sean who was laughing at her she punched him in the stomach and grinned.

"Alex she looked like that when we were kids it's no surprise for me but I haven't seen her like this in years" Aly told him still taking pictures of Ash

" Oh my look at her abs I finally get to see them now all I have to do is convince her to let me touch them" Jenna said excitedly I looked at her and then back to ash I have to admit the girl has some nice abs going on I didn't even know that girls could get the v thing on their stomachs. My thoughts were interrupted as I heard bunch of cheers and wolf whistles from the crowd.

"Ok now, everyone settle down" the principle said getting back on the stage.

"Now who should win students" he asked a number of students yelled Ash over and over again. I laughed as Ash crossed her arms and huffed looking angry as the principle handed her a small trophy.

"Ok thank you all for your participation now let's get started on the student vs teacher basketball game" the basketball team left the gym to get changed again.

(ASH POV)

God that was embarrassing I'm never doing that again, I quickly changed out of the stupid bikini and put my clothes back on. Once I was changed I grabbed the bikini and the wig and threw it in the trash before leaving the locker room. I headed towards Aly and the rest of them were they were grinning at me and Alex was frowning at me looking me up and down I glared at him.

"Don't say anything" I mumbled to them pulling Gabriel up and taking her seat on the bleacher ignoring her protest.

"Hey give me back my seat" she whined trying to pull me back up, I raised my eyebrow at her as she kept pulling. I grinned before pulling her down on my lap. She turned to me pouting.

"Why can I never have a seat to myself" she asked I laughed

"Well because you didn't save me one" I told her grinning she shook her head before turning back around.

"Aren't you supposed to be playing" Samantha asked I shook my head

"No I don't have to if I don't want to" I told her she nodded before Jenna spoke up.

"Ash look" I turned to her and she was showing me a picture of myself in the bikini I groaned.

"Delete it" I told her she shook her head grinning at me

"I'll delete it if you let me touch your abs" she asked I looked at her like she was crazy

"Never mind you can keep it" I told her she cursed under her breath.

"Gabby you have some weird friends" I told her as she leaned back into me laughing slightly.

"You have no room to talk Alex was drooling at you when you were up there now that's weird" She laughed as I felt the blood drain from my face.

"Ok you win with that" I mumbled looking over at Alex who was talking animatedly with Jenna.

"I always win Ash" she said

"If I remember correctly you lost the race" She frowned at me and went quiet as I laughed at her. The basketball game was starting and half of the basketball team was out there playing. The students were going to win as always. I looked down at Gabriel who was still frowning as she watched the game. I squeezed her side causing her to jump and squeak. Our friends turned to us looking at Gabriel curiously as she turned red from their gazes. I chuckled lightly as she turned towards me glaring.

"What you do that for" she asked

"Because you keep frowning" she looked at me blinking not saying anything as I grinned at her.

"Ash what did I tell you about feeling up on people in public" Aly said smirking at me I frowned at her.

"I wasn't feeling up on her" I told her she looked down at my hands and smirked again as me and Gabriel looked at where my hands were, one was resting close to her inner thigh and the other was on her upper torso where I squeezed her at. Gabriel blushed and I moved my hands back to her waist.

"Sorry" I mumbled to her she laughed nervously

"Don't worry I didn't notice either" she said back.

"Guys don't stop on our account you do whatever you want" Aly said making Gabriel turn red as a tomato. Ok awkward moment number two.

"Yea don't worry we won't say a thing" Samantha said as Jenna laughed before adding.

"Yup just act like we're not here" she said

"Ash you dog" Alex added I glared all of them as Gabriel if possible turned even redder.

(Gabriel POV)

I didn't even realize Ash hand was right there and neither did she until Aly said something about it. I blushed as Ash moved her hands away and back to my waist.

"Sorry" she mumbled to me I gave a nervous laugh

"don't worry I didn't notice either" I told her I truly didn't notice I don't know how I didn't.

"Guys don't stop on our account do whatever you want" I heard Aly said I groaned internally as I felt my face heat up.

"Yea don't worry we won't say a thing" Samantha said while I heard Jenna add

"yup just act like we're not here" I wanted to bury myself at this moment I could feel more blood rushing to my face.

"Ash you dog" Alex said causing them to laugh. I heard Ash groan mumbling curse words under her breath. I looked at her to see her glaring at all of them with a slight unnoticeable tinge of pink in her cheeks. I have never seen Ash blush before she looked kind of cute. She looked down at me noticing I was staring at her.

"Look guys this is the part where they kiss" Jenna whispered loudly causing me to blush again stupid cheeks I thought as I put my head down.

"Guys cut it out I wasn't doing anything to her and you all know that" I heard Ash tell them I looked back up at them they were still grinning at us.

"Yea and let me guess you guys are just friends" Aly said me and Ash nodded.

"Their feeding you the same crap too" Jenna said Aly nodded her head.

"We all know it's not true though, look at them their all over each other" Aly said nonchalantly nodding her head in our direction. We aren't all over each other are we I looked at us nope we aren't I'm just sitting on her lap.

"Aly you of all people should know we aren't all over each other in fact I remember when me and you used to be like this in freshman year" Ash said smirking at Aly who looked at her with wide eyes.

"Yea now that I think about it you two were always all over each other" Amber added

"We were not all over each other if anything she was all over me" Ash said smirking at Aly who blushed slightly.

"Whoa back up, what, explain" Jenna said as I looked from between Ash and Aly. Ash was grinning and Aly was glaring at Ash.

"Yes Aly explain" Ash said

"There is nothing to explain it in the past" Aly said avoiding the question

"I want to hear this two" I said

"Fine weusedtodate" she said quickly under her breath. Everyone looked at them in shock even I did.

"Wait how come I don't know about this" Alex whined Ash looked at him and shrugged

"I don't think we knew you back then plus it wasn't long anyway" she explained smirking at Aly.

"So your Bi" Samantha asked she shook her head.

"No I'm straight" we looked at her confused as Ash laughed

"I was experimenting at the time" Aly mumbled glaring at Ash

"Yea I remember the day when she asked me out" Ash said laughing at the memory.

"Please don't tell this story" she begged her Ash shook her head

"If you can embarrass me and her then I should do the honors of embarrassing you too anyway she came up to me in the hallway and pulled me into an empty room" she was smirking again.

"Seriously Ash please"

"Nope where was I oh right she pulled into the room and kissed me then she said Ash I like you I mean really really like you" Ash laughed as Aly blushed lightly " I just looked at her and told her ok then she asked me to give it a chance I agreed and we went out for like a month then we broke up and we went back to friends again" Ash finished laughing at Aly.

"I did not say that" she mumbled

"Yea you did I remember quite clearly what you said that day" Ash told her grinning again.

"So did you guys ever do the do" Jenna asked I looked at Ash as she laughed again.

"Almost then we looked at each other and said no that's when we broke up"

"Wasn't that awkward" I asked her she looked down at me.

"No not really I've been in worse situations than that" I nodded

"Can we drop the subject now that you all know my dirty little secret" She asked Ash nodded still grinning at her. The buzzer went off signaling the end of the game I looked at the score the students won 58 to 34.

"Our teachers need to step up their game" Alex said every one nodded still chatting as the principle dismissed us.

"Gabby hate to tell you this but you have to get up" Ash said I turned to her

"I don't feel like moving" I told her she sighed and stood up pulling me to her back I wrapped my legs around her and she grabbed onto them to keep me from falling.

"Yay piggy back ride" I shouted she cringed

"Hey I need my ears" she said

"Oh sorry now giddy up horsey" I told her bouncing on her back she laughed as we caught up with our friends.

"Ash what time is the game" Amber asked looking at me shaking her head.

"7 to 8:30" she answered back

"You want me to take you home" she asked me rest my head on her shoulder.

"Nope then you're going to have to come back to the school plus I want to see my best friend play" I told her she nodded as she continued carrying me through the halls ignoring the girls as they glared at me.

"Ash every time I'm with you someone's always glaring at me" I told her she laughed at me.

"One most girls in the school like me two your wearing my jersey and three your on my back" Ash said

"So that doesn't explain a thing" she sighed

"Gabby I said most girls in the school like me and we are always together" she said slowly as we went into the parking lot.

"So we're just friends, I don't see why that bothers people" I mumbled to her

"Me neither now time to get down cow girl" I laughed as she bent down and I jumped off.

"Malady" she said opening the door to her truck I climb in and watched as she went to the driver's side.

"Where are we going" I asked

"Back to my place Aly, Sean, and Alex are coming over you can call your friends if you want we can all hang out before the game" I nodded and text Samantha with the directions. Ash didn't live that far away from the school only about twenty minutes or less.

(ASH POV)

I pulled into my drive way and got out with Gabriel. The minute I opened the door I saw Sarah she looked up at me then Gabriel and smiled.

"Gabriel it so nice to see you I been asking her when she was going to bring you back over here we need so girls in the house" she exclaimed pulling Gabriel into a hug. I watched as Gabriel smiled and hugged her back. I heard movement coming down the stairs I looked towards the stair it was my brothers again.

"Look what the cat dragged in the beautiful Gabriel" Nathan said coming down the stairs in his pajamas pants with no shirt on trying to flex his muscles. I heard Gabriel laugh slightly I looked down at her smirking.

"Well we'll be upstairs if you need anything" I grabbed her hand and we headed up stairs.

(Gabriel POV)

I couldn't help but laugh at her brother as he tried to flex is barely existing muscles. Ash grabbed my hand and pulled up stairs to her room. I looked around last time I didn't get a good look it was simple green and gray room with a large window giving a view of the back yard and pool.

I walked around the room coming across pictures on her dresser. I picked up the picture frame it was of Ash Aly and some other girl she looked quiet and looked fragile but she was smiling while holding Ash's hand. The next picture was of Ash and her family when she was younger she was wearing a cute little blue dress with pig tails holding a women's hand the women had auburn hair and hazel eyes ash looked like her but at the same time she didn't, you could see facial features that they were related. I wonder who that is. As if hearing my thoughts Ash spoke up.

"That's my mother" she said taking the picture from me and smiling at it she looked sad and lost.

"if you don't mind me asking but what happened to her" I asked her looking at her carefully.

"She died when I was ten from cancer" she told me still looking at the picture.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked" she shook her head and she took my hand and led me out the room and down the hallway and we stopped in front of door she pulled a key out from pocket and opened the door. We step inside and she turned the lights on. The room was white with the furniture covered in sheets and with a layer of dust there was also a big glass window that covered the whole side of the wall giving the same view Ash had in her room but you couldn't see the pool but you could see a medium sized pool in the distance. She closed the door behind us as I looked around in the middle of the room was something covered by a white cloth. I watched as Ash reached the center and pulled the cloth off revealing a white grand piano and a small bench, she sat down and lifted the keys cover up and stared at the keys smiling slightly as if remembering something, she lifted her hand and softly touched one of the keys making sound echo off the walls.

(Ash POV)

I don't know why I brought her here in this room no one's been in this room since my mother died including me. The room looked the same except it was covered in sheets and dust. I closed the door and made my way to the grand piano in the middle of the room I took the sheet off and sat down on the bench before opening the key cover up revealing the keys that I haven't played in over 7 years. I sat staring at the keys remembering how my mother and I used to always come in here and play all of our favorite songs. I touched a key listening as the sound echoed throughout the room. I placed my hand on the keys and closed my eyes and played the last song I played for her, which was also her favorite I played as I remembered the first time I ever played the piano and how I used to spend hours in here trying to play this song. I remembered how I would sit next to her and watch her hands glide over the keys in amazement. I remember her last day here with me she laid on the couch and asked me to play this song on last time I played it for her and when I finished she smiled up and told me loved me and thank you before dying I cried so much that night, I felt a tear running down my face as I finished with the last note.

(Gabriel's POV)

I watched her play I didn't know what it was called but it was beautiful the way she played I could tell that she was remembering something she had her eyes closed as her fingers glided over the keys with elegance. I felt as if I was prying in on a private moment I was going to leave but I was hypnotized by the piece I watched as she opened her eyes finishing the last note with one lone tear rolled down her face as she stared at the key. I didn't know what to do so I walked over to her and sat next to her.

"Ash that was beautiful" I told her she wiped her eye and laughed lightly turning towards me smiling but I could still see the sadness lingering in her eyes.

"Thanks I haven't played in awhile so excuse all of my mishaps" she said I shook my head.

"No it was wonderful Ash I didn't know you could play" she nodded

"Yea my mom taught me when I was younger I haven't played it since she died it was her favorite song by jery hou" she mumbled that had to be over 7 years I looked at her as she looked at the keys and covered it back up. I grabbed her hand and smiled at her.

"Well I think no I know she is gazing down at you proud to hear you play again" I told her she smiled at me and kissed me on my cheek before pulling me into a hug.

"Thanks Gabby" she mumbled to me pulling back as we heard the door bell ring.

"Anytime Ash" I told her smiling as we stood up. She covered the piano again and turned off the light before leaving the room and locking it.

(Ash POV)

When I heard the doorbell ring I pulled back from Gabriel and thanked her as we stood up I covered the piano back up and turned the lights out looking at the room one last time imagining me and mother on the piano playing again. I closed the door and locked it putting the key back in my pocket where I always keep it.

"Ash thanks for showing me that" I heard Gabriel say I nodded my head.

"You're the first person apart from my family who knows I play and the first to hear me play after 7 years, I don't know why I showed you, but I'm glad I did" I told her as we walked down the hallway.

"Well I'm glad you did now I know another side of the great Ash Davis and quite frankly I love it" she said smiling at me and I smiled back, she grabbed my hand as we walked down the stairs.
