(Gabriel POV)

I woke up to my phone beeping I rolled over and looked at it, oh I had a text from Ash. I read it and it said she would be over in a few minutes. I groaned I forgot that she was coming over to change my tire I looked at the time it was 11:55 I jumped out my bed and took a quick shower while brushing my teeth. I went back into my room and threw on a bra and underwear. I went in my closet and grabbed a black tank top and black jean shorts I put my hair in a messy ponytail and put on my black converses. I just finished tying my shoes when I heard the doorbell ring I don’t know why but I looked in the mirror to see if I looked ok. I ran downstairs and opened the door for her. I looked at her she was wearing a black cap with a white Nike symbol she also had on plain white t-shirt and a pair of black shorts with a white Nike symbol and matching running shoes.

“Come in” I told her moving out the way she came in and looked around.

“You want something to eat” I asked leading her into the kitchen

“Nope I’m good” she said yawning and sitting down on the stool.

“You don’t have to change the tire if you don’t want to ash I don’t want to bother you” I told her she shook her and smiled at me.

“No I told you I was going to change it so I’ll change it I just need a second” she said yawning again and shaking her head slightly.

“Why are you so tired anyway,” I asked leaning on the kitchen counter watching her she shrugged.

“I don’t know I went to bed right when I got home last night but I kept waking up so I just played the Xbox until early this morning before I went back to bed then my stupid brothers woke me up again I think I only got a good three hours of sleep” she said yawning again and putting her head down on the table. I looked at the clock it was only 12:20 and I was tired myself, I pushed my self off the counter.

“Come on Ash you can take a nap then you can change the tire” I told her she lifted her head up and looked at me.

“No I can’t “ she said shaking her head

“Why do you have somewhere to be”

“No I don’t want to hold you up if you have somewhere to go today” I looked at her and smiled.

“I have no where to go today and I refuse to shop with Jenna and them again plus I’m still sleepy myself so come on” I told her she stood up and followed me up stairs to my room.

(Ash POV)

I followed Gabriel upstairs to her room when I walked in I notice she had various posters around her wall from actors to singers and bands. Her walls were sky blue she had a king sized canopy bed with white sheets and a ton of pillows on it I turned and examined the rest of the room she hand a desk that was occupied my a laptop and various items she also had a dresser that seemed pretty organized overall she had a typical girls room.

“Ash are you finished looking at my room” She asked I turned to her and smirked at her and nodded.

“Good cause I’m tired” She walked over to the door and closed it then and turned the lights out but it didn’t really seeing as though it was the middle of the day. She made her way over to the shade and pulled them down making the room go dark oh need to get those in my room I took my hat, shoes and, socks off, sock are very uncomfortable to sleep in.

“Are you sure your fine with me sleeping in here” I asked sitting on the bed while she went in her closet and closed the door.

“Yes Ash” She said opening the door again she came out wearing white cotton PJ shorts and a yellow Tweety Bird tank top she was also putting .

“Ok then, what side do you sleep on?” I asked her taking off my shirt leaving me in my beater. I folded it and sat it on her nightstand and I looked at her when she didn’t answer she was just staring at me I smirked at her.

“Earth to Gabriel” I said waving my hand in front of her face, she blushed shaking her head.

“Huh ssorry I zoned out” she said stuttered I laughed

“I asked what side you sleep on”

“Doesn’t matter to me” she said as she pulled the covers back and got in the bed I shrugged and walked to the other side of the bed and got in I pulled the cover over us and stared at the ceiling. After a few minutes I heard Gabriel’s light breathing I turned to see her sleeping I smiled down at her before I went to sleep.

~3 hours later~

I felt a vibration on my leg, I tried to move again but I couldn’t I felt a weight on me, I opened my eyes slightly and looked down to see it was Gabriel she was cuddled up on me, her head was on my chest and her hand was holding onto my shirt by my stomach, I sighed I didn’t want to wake her so I reached down and answered the phone.

“Hello” I answered while yawning

“Ash is that you what are you doing over there, are you sleeping” I rolled my eyes

“Yes it is and who is this”

“Its Samantha” She replied back what the how did she get my number.

“And Jenna” Jenna yelled in the phone

“How did you get my number,”

“Ash I don’t have your number this is Gabriel’s phone” I looked at the phone oh it is her phone.

“Oh” I said there was a long pause before she spoke again

“Ash can you put Gabriel on the phone” Samantha asked I looked down at Gabriel.

“Um she’s sleeping right now” I told her

“Well then what are you doing over there then” Jenna asked suspiciously I could almost here her grinning through the phone.

“None of your business, I’ll tell her you called” I was about to hang up the phone when I heard her yell something.

“What”

“Ash its 3 o-clock the bon fire starts in three hours” She said I looked at my watch and swore.

“Ash be quiet and keep still I’m trying to sleep” I heard Gabriel mumble scooting closer to me I laughed slightly.

“Ash was that Gabriel” Jenna said through the phone

“Yea”

“Wake her up then” I tapped Gabriel she groaned and mumbled something.

“Gabriel wake up and get dressed we have to get ready for the bon fire” I said shaking her slightly.

“Five more minutes” she mumbled opening her eyes slightly before going back to sleep I put the phone down I tried to move my legs but they were tangled with hers.

“C’mon Gabby get up we have 3 hours to change your tire and get dressed” she opened her eyes and looked at me then at herself she blushed an sat up I smirked at her.

“How long were we sleep” she asked stretching and moving out the bed.

“Um 4 hours” I got out the bed I was looking for my socks.

“Gabby where are my socks” I asked as I bent down on the floor and looked under the bed.

“Its here with your shirt” She said I stood up and she threw me my shirt and socks I quickly put my shirt on and socks now I had to find my hat.

“Gabby have you seen my”

“Right here Ash” She said interrupting me handing me my hat I smiled and put it on.

“Good now you get dressed put a swimsuit on underneath I’ll go change you tire and then we can go,” I told her she nodded and disappeared inside her closet. I left her bedroom and went back outside, I went to my truck and grabbed my toolbox before heading over to her car.

(Gabriel POV)

Ash just left the room, I’m in my closet trying to find my bikinis yes I hang my bikinis up is that weird any way I cant figure out which one so I closed my eyes and grabbed the first one o touched I groaned I hate this one oh well I slip out of my clothes and put the bikini on and tied the strings. I then pulled on my jean short shorts I’m going to the beach I mines well show some skin and tan while I’m there I didn’t bother putting on a shirt either because again I’m going to a beach who needs a shirt. I went in the bathroom and took the braid out my hair I combed it down and left it wavy. I put a little bit of eyeliner on and some lip-gloss before heading down stairs to see if Ash was almost done.

I went outside to see Ash putting the tire back on.

“Hey you almost done” I asked walking to her she turned and looked me up and down I raised my eyebrow at her as her eyes lingered on my legs before she looked back at my face.

“ Ash did you just check me out” I asked laughing she smirked and laughed she had grease smutches on her face and shirt not to mention her hands which were covered in grease.

“Nope I was just looking at you,” She said going back to the tire she screwed the thing on the wheel back and cranked the car back down. She wiped her hands on a towel she had before turning back to me.

“So you ready” She asked throwing the towel on her shoulder

“Yup lets go” I told her she nodded and packed up her tool box thingy and put it into her truck I looked at her.

“Are you going to the beach like that” I asked she was a mess she laughed.

“No Gabby I’m going home to change then I’m going” we got into her truck and headed to her house.

When we arrived at her house I looked down at what I was wearing and looked at Ash’s house and looked back down I regret not wearing a shirt now. I heard Ash laugh and I turned to her as she opened her door and walked to my side.

“C’mon they wont bother you,” she said pulling me out the car and towards the house.

(Ash POV)

“C’mon they wont bother you,” I told her as I pulled her out the car and toward my house who am I kidding they are going to bother her. I looked at her on more time she only had on jean short, which were short, and a hot pink bikini top with white polka dots on them.

“Ash focus and open the door” She said I looked back at her and laughed.

“You keep distracting me,” I said opening the door she laughed slightly

“I guess I’ll take that as a compliment” She said as we walked in the house we crept through the house until we got the stairs we almost made it up unnoticed until I heard a wolf whistle behind me I groaned and turned around to see Nathan and Jesse grinning and looking at Gabriel.

“Not today guys” I told them they turned to me and grinned more.

“So your going to the beach you mind if we tag along,” Nathan asked still looking at Gabriel who was blushing I glared at them.

“Yes I do mind,” I said taking Gabriel’s hand and pulling her up stairs with me

“Hey she can stay down here with us while you change” Jesse said

“No thank I rather stay with Ash” Gabriel said turning around to them they looked at me and glared I laughed at them as we continued walking up stairs to my room.

“I should be dressed in a few,” I told her as she sat on my bed bouncing slightly

“Ok are you going to wear a bikini again,” she asked smirking I rolled my eyes at her

“Shut up before I send you down stairs with my brothers” She mumbled something and I laughed before going in the bathroom I washed my face and took off my clothes to take a quick shower. Once I was finished I put on my blue swim truck with white stitching followed by my sport bra and my blue and white swim shirt or surf shirt what ever they call it. I walked out my bathroom seeing Gabriel bouncing on my bed.

“Gabby really” I said she turned towards me and grinned sheepishly, stopped climbed off the bed. I towel my hair so it wouldn’t drip anywhere before styling back into my faux hawk once I was satisfied I went back into my bathroom and grabbed two beach towels seeing as though she didn’t bring anything with her. I went back into the room and put on a white Abercrombie and Fitch zip up hoodie.

“Alright I’m ready” I said I gave her a towel and we headed down stairs and out the door before Nathan and Jesse could see us.

“How far is the beach” Gabriel asked as I back out the drive and pulled onto the road.

“I don’t know I never actually paid attention it’s a private beach that they rent out occasionally so I never usually go out there unless it’s a party” I said back peeking over at her.

“Ash eyes on the road” she said smirking

“My eyes are on the road” I turned down another road and glance at the clock it was only 4 o-clock it didn’t take that long for us to get ready and it shouldn’t take that long for us to get to the beach the suns doesn’t set until 7 or 8 and that’s when we lite the fire and when the party actually starts to begin.

“Ash are we there yet” I rolled my eyes and turned the radio up.

“Ash answer my question” She whined I glanced at her to see her grinning.

“Does it look like we are there yet” I asked she shook her head

“Then no we aren’t there” she looked out the window and began singing to Adele rolling in the deep and let me tell this child can not sing I cringed as she hit a high note before turning off the radio.

“Hey why you do that” She asked pouting.

“Gabby no offense but you cant sing and I cant not drive with you singing like that” I told her sternly

“Then what am I supposed to do” she asked

“I don’t know go in my bag in the back you can play a game on my itouch” she grabbed my bag and took my itouch out she was quiet for the rest of the ride from the sounds of it I’m guessing she was playing angry birds.

(Gabriel POV)

Damn pigs wont die I keep missing them, I felt the car come to a stop but I didn’t move I am determined to beat this game I heard Ash open my door.

“Gabby we are here lets go” She said

“Wait let me finish this real fast,” I told her not looking at her she sighed.

“Didn’t you want to tan, the sun is going to go down soon” She said I didn’t reply I almost done I have one more pig to go and I would I pulled my bird back and flung it towards the pig I never got to see what happened because Ash took it from me.

“Give it back Ash” she shook her head as I reached for it

“No you can have it on our way back” She said putting it in the back seat I huffed and didn’t move. She sighed

“Come on” when I didn’t respond she picked me up and tossed me over her shoulder.

“Hey put me down” I screamed causing people to turn towards us while I hit her back she laughed at me.

“No I’ll but you down when we get to your friends”

“Please put me down I everyone is staring at me” I whined she laughed again I hit her on her back.

“Alright” she said putting me down I took off my sandals and curled my feet in the warm sand I looked around the beach taking in the sun. There were students everywhere either lingering around or playing volleyball or football. I spotted Aly and Samantha in the water while Amber and Jenna were sitting on beach towels, the boys were throwing a football around.

“Ash there they are,” I pointed to them and grabbed Ash hand taking her to them. When we reached they looked up at me and grinned I raised my eyebrow at them.

“What” I asked as Ash laid the towel down next to them.

“Nothing” they said still grinning ok then I turned to Ash who looked hot in the hoddie she was wearing and not hot as in whoa your hot but hot as in sweating burning up hot.

“Ash can you please take that hoddie off your making me hot just looking at you” I said

“Gabby I tend to have that effect on girls” she said smirking I rolled my eyes at her.

“Seriously aren’t you hot,” I asked it had to be ninety eight degrees out here she nodded.

“I was going to take it off anyway” She replied unzipping it and pulling it off she folded it and put it on top of the towel and sat down. She still looked hot even in her surf shirt.

(Ash POV)

OK I’m burning up and this shirt isn’t helping, it sucks being a girl I watch Gabriel take off her shorts leaving her in her bikini. I looked her up and down I don’t care if I’m caught checking her out, the girl has a banging body she perfectly toned with a flat stomach petite waist and she has the perfect set of chest not to big and not to small then her legs are I don’t know how to describe them, I feel like I have a leg fetish around her.

“Ash stop it” she said frowning at me playfully I smirked

“Stop what” I asked as my eyes strayed back to her legs.

“Ash” I looked back at her and patted the space next to me for her to sit she happily obliged and sat down.

“So what have you two been up to all day” Jenna asked looking at me I pulled the collar of my shirt to let some air in.

“Nothing I changed her tire” I looked at the ocean where Samantha and Aly where playing in the waves I think they had on the same red bikini. I squinted to see if I could look at them clearly.

“Ash what are you doing” I heard Gabriel say from beside me

“Um nothing just checking something” I mumbled back looking at her she had a curious look on her face before she shrugged her shoulder and laid down to tan I guess. I stood up to get in the water.

“Where you going” Gabriel asked

“To cool down I’m hot” I told her beginning to walk off

“You know you wouldn’t be hot if you took off that surf shirt” She replied back I turned to her and shook my head.

“You just want to see my body don’t you,” I said smirking she rolled her eyes.

“Yes Ash I dying to see that irresistible hot body of yours” She said sarcastically I laughed before running into the water tackling Aly and Samantha.

(Gabriel POV)

I shook my head as Aly and Samantha jump on Ash and pushed her down into the water.

“So tell us the detail,” Jenna said her and Amber sat up and looks at me. I looked at them confused

“Don’t play dumb I heard everything” Jenna said excitedly I still had no idea what they were talking about.

“ I don’t know what you’re talking about” Jenna looked at me and rolled her eyes.

“We know you slept with her ” She said whispering I looked at her shocked.

“No I didn’t” I told her shaking my head

“Don’t lie to us so how was it,” She asked grinning at me I leaned back on my elbows

“No I’m serious we didn’t do anything I don’t like her that way and I wouldn’t sleep with her anyways she a player and my friend plus I like Twinkies,” I told her she laughed

“Gabriel we heard everything through the phone” I looked at her with my eyebrows raised.

“Do I really have to tell you” I gave her a blank look she sighed

“Gabriel have you seen my shirt” she smirked, as my eyes grew wide

“Then there was Gabby get up and get dressed” I groaned how the hell did they hear that conversation to make it worse they heard all the wrong parts.

“Guys yes we slept together” I heard Jenna squeal in excitement and Amber gasp in shock I held my hand up stopping them from speaking.

“Let me finish we slept together and that’s all we did was sleep nothing more” I said them slowly making sure they understood every word I said Jenna looked disappointed and Amber well she had a neutral face I shook me head and laid back down I have to get my tan before the sun goes down I pulled on my sunglasses and took in the sun ignoring Jenna mumbles and Ambers.

(Ash POV)

I was in the water talking to Aly and Samantha after they finished dunking me.

“Ash I heard you slept with Gabriel” I looked at Samantha shocked.

“Don’t use her Ash,” She said putting her hands on her hips and frowned at me.

“Why would I use her and I didn’t sleep with her anyway” I mean we did sleep together but we didn’t sleep, sleep together.

“The what the hell were you doing over there that you both at get dress and you had to find your clothes” I groaned I must have forgot to hang up the phone when I put it down to wake Gabriel up.

“ We were both tired so we went to take a nap and I can’t sleep in socks and I took my shirt off to get comfortable but I had a beater on” ii explained she nodded

“Oh just making sure” she said making sure of what I looked towards the beach where Gabriel was basking in the sun she looked hot maybe I should cool her off I grinned and ran back on the beach and stood in front of her.

“Gabby get in the water its feels great” I said she pulled off her glasses and looked at me

“No I don’t want to get wet could you move your blocking the sun and your dripping on me” she stated putting her glasses back on.

“Gabby what’s the point in coming to the beach if your not going to get in the water” she sighed

“To tan Ash” I rolled my eyes well time for plan B I bent over and picked her up draping her over my shoulder ignoring her protest to put me down I laughed and ran towards the water with her screaming.

“Ash put me down I don’t want to get wet” she yelled I kept walking deeper till it reached my knee. I looked at her over my shoulder I grinned and she glared at me and tried to lift herself up.

“You want to be put down right” I asked her eyes widen and she shook her no I laughed at her.

“Ash no please don’t,” She begged as I slid her off my shoulder so I could she her face to face she was still glaring at me.

“I don’t know” I said smirking as I started to walk further out in the water, she wrapped her legs around my waist as I went deeper.

“Seriously Ash I don’t want to get wet” She told me sternly I felt her legs tighten around my waist as the water reached my waist.

“Its just water have a little fun” I told her as she tried to climb higher up on me which seemed to be difficult for her but she did it her legs were now wrapped around my stomach I chuckled and she narrowed her eyes at me.

“Ash take me back to the shore” She said I think she’s mad I sighed

“You’re no fun” I said I turned around but I “accidently” slipped I grinned as we went under the water her legs fell from my body as we came back up.

“Oops sorry I think I slipped on seaweed” I said grinning at her as she glared back at me she looked like a wet kitten her hair was soaked and she had her arms crossed.

(Gabriel POV)

I yelped as my body hit the cold water as Ash and I went under I unwrapped my legs from her body and pushed my self back to the surface were Ash was grinning at me.

“Oops sorry I think I slipped on seaweed” She said really that’s a stupid excuse I glared at her. Now my hair is wet and it’s going to take forever to dry I started walking back to the shore well I tried to walk back to the shore but the waves kept pushing me down every few steps I heard Ash laughing in the background I turned to her and glared only to be hit by another wave bringing me down under the water again I would have screamed in frustration but you cant really do that when your underneath water. I felt someone pull me back up I wiped the water out my eyes and turned to the person it was a guy with dirty blond hair and gray eyes he had sharp jaw line, I looked him over he had a six pack going on to with chest and arm muscles he was hot.

“You know you can’t fight the waves,” He said grinning slightly I saw him rake his eyes over my body before looking back at me.

“I wasn’t trying to my stupid friend brought me out here” I said looking around him to see Ash still laughing at me I glared back at her stupid Ash.

“Well I would be happy to escort you to the shore if you don’t mind” He said smiling at me he had pearly white teeth too.

“You don’t have to I can get there” I said not wanting to bother him

“No I’m going over there anyway” he said we started waddling to towards the shore.

“I never seen you around here before” I said as we got to the shore

“My sister and I just moved her yesterday and my cousin told me there was going to be a bonfire with most of the students tonight so I decided to come check it out” He said I nodded

“So you’re going to attend Patterson High”

“Yup starting Monday me and my sis will be there”

“Well I have to go by the way my names Tyler,” he said holding his hand out I smiled and shook his hand.

“I’m Gabriel” He nodded

“Well it was nice meeting you Gabriel maybe I’ll catch you on Monday”

“I’ll keep an eye out for you” I said as I walked off to where Amber Samantha and Jenna were now sitting.

“Oh my god Gabriel who was that god like creature you were talking to” Jenna asked I laughed at her.

“Um his name is Tyler him and his sister moved here yesterday and there coming to our school Monday” I said Jenna clapped her hands excitedly.

“I call dibs on him unless you want him Gabriel” She the other laughed and I shook my head no while grabbing my towel to dry off.

“So you and Ash seemed to be having a good time in the water” Samantha said smirking I looked over at her and shrugged.

“No not really she dropped me in the water and laughed at every time I got knocked down by the wave” I said frowning and sitting down with them

“Didn’t look that way to me you guys looked very intimate” Amber said quietly looking at Matt who was playing with Sean Alex and Tristan.

“No we didn’t we were arguing”

“Right but from back here you didn’t you had your legs wrapped around her waist will she held you I wish I was you” Jenna said dreamily closing her eyes and smiling I laughed at her something is seriously wrong with her I looked back over and saw the guys coming over.

“Look its like bay watch with Ash” Jenna whispered causing all of us to turn in Ash direction again she was running in our direction smirking as usual as some girls stopped to watch her she ran her hand through her hair and smirked at each one of them before she reached us I had to fight the urge to roll my eyes at her.

“So you think your David HassleHoff now” I asked as she grabbed her towel and dried off her hair.

“Only if you want me to be,” She said grinning at me I rolled my eyes at her this time and she laughed as she sat down next to putting her arm around my shoulder.

“Ash get off of me you’re wet and I just got dry” I said flinging her arm off of me.

“Its not me who is wet it’s the shirt” she said pointing to it

“Well no one told you to wear a shirt you could have wore a bikini,” I said smiling as her face scrunched up in disgust.

“No I rather wear my surf shirt” she mumbled pulling the her shirt so that it wasn’t sticking to her.

“When does the bon fire start,” I asked no one in particular

“When the sun goes down,” Matt said in a duh tone sitting next to Amber who leaned on him. I looked at my cell for the time it was only 6 o-clock we’ve only been here for an hour or 2. I feel something wet against my skin I turned only to find it was Ash again I groaned.

“Ash really” She looked at me and shrugged.

“What I’m trying to get dry”

“Well your getting me wet in the process take the damn shirt off” I told her she smirked

“I didn’t realize you were a get to the point type of girl” She said winking at me the others laughed while I stared at her confused before I finally understood what she just said I blushed and smacked her while she laughed.

“Shut up” I told her

“I’m just saying, you don’t have to hit me” She mumbled before standing up and taking off her shirt leaving her in a black sports bra sometimes I forget that she’s a girl, I looked at her hey she has a little bit of back muscles you can’t see them that much unless you’re actually looking. She turned around and hung her shirt up behinds Aly beach chair before she turned back to me and sat down laying back I glanced down at her as she lay there and closed her eyes. I never got to see her up close without the shirt but I am impressed it looked better up close than it does from afar I saw a droplet of water glisten down her abs I had the urge to wipe it off would that be weird no get those thought out your head I shook my head and let out a sigh before laying back next to Ash the others were talking about the bonfire that would be happening in a couple of hours I think the DJ and other people were setting up.

“So you finally decided to stop checking me out” Ash mumble putting her hand behind her head and bending one of he legs up so that her feet were flat on the towel I could feel my cheeks heat up as I turned to her she had one eye open looking at me smirking.

“I wasn’t checking you out,” I told her she just laughed slightly

“It’s ok Gabby I know I’m irresistible as you put it early and I know you want this don’t deny it” She said jokingly pointing her hands at her body I grinned at her before rolling on my side to face her.

“Your right Ash” I said as she nodded in agreement I took my hand and traced her abs whoa its feels like someone chiseled them to perfection, I can feel each and every pack perfectly, her face looked shocked as I leaned towards her stopping at her ear.

“I can’t deny it anymore Ash” I whispered huskily in her ear I felt her stomach tighten defying her even more as I continued to trace her abs.

“I want your hot irresistible body,” I moaned in her ear I heard her breath hitch as my hand made it way to her thigh and rested there.

“GGabby” she stuttered I grinned and continued what I was saying.

“But you know what Ash I would be lying to you if I said that” I whispered back into her ear I leaned away from her, took my hand off of her and looked at her faced, her eyes looked glazed and shocked I patted her cheek causing her to look at me her gaze shifted down to my lips as I began to talk again.

“Get over yourself Ash,” I said and giving her a final pat on her cheek before lying back down laughing at her opened mouth.

“You better close your mouth before flies get in” I told her she closed her mouth and groaned at me as I laughed.

(Ash POV)

To say I was shocked is an understatement when I felt her soft hands trace my stomach my breath hitched and my stomach tighten a little, I have to say this is the one time I’m glad to be a girl because if I wasn’t I pretty sure I would have a tent sticking up in my pants right now, then when I felt her hand make her way to my thigh I think that’s what did it for me now I was hot and bothered. I groaned as she laughed and told me to close my mouth.

“Fucking tease,” I mumbled under my breath I guess she heard me cause she smack me up beside my head I sat up and glared down at her and she smirked.

“What are you guys doing” Sean asked looking over at us

“Nothing” I grumbled Gabriel laughed again

“What crawled up your butt” I heard him say I looked at Gabriel

“Why don’t you ask her,” I told him smirking as she blushed and I shook my head at her, Sean looked between the two of us confused but didn’t ask anymore questions. I saw Rachel running over to me in a yellow cut out bathing suit. Gabriel groaned beside me I looked at her with my eyebrows raised and she rolled her eyes.

“Ash can I talk to you for a sec” she asked I felt everyone’s eyes on me as I nodded and put my surf shirt back on before following her up to the boardwalk where people where mingling we sat at a table away from people.

“Ash I need a favor” She said I looked at her skeptically

“What is it,”

“I need you to go to my fathers business dinner with me in 3 weeks” She said

“I don’t know”

“Please Ash I really need you there ” She begged I sighed

“Why cant you take someone else like a boy I’m sure your father wouldn’t be happy if you took me” I said I didn’t want to go I hate wearing suits.

“Because I want to come out to him,” she mumbled I looked at her surprised

“I don’t think I can help you with that” I know I couldn’t help her with that even when I came out to my dad he didn’t take it good at first and I didn’t respond well either she looked at me with a pleading expression.

“ Please Ash you owe me a favor anyway” She said oh I did owe her a favor because of the restaurant bet I had with my brothers I sighed and stood up.

“I don’t think you should do it at a business gathering” I told her she stood up

“That’s the only way he will listen I tried to tell him before but he brushed it off and told me to grow up” I looked at her understanding

“Fine I’ll do it” I said she smiled and hugged me.

“Thanks Ash I really appreciate It” She kissed me on my cheeks and ran back to the beach what have I gotten myself into I sighed and looked in the shop I was in front of it was and ice cream shop I went in and ordered so ice cream before heading back to the beach to Gabriel.

(Gabriel POV)

I wonder what their talking about I watched as Rachel hugged Ash and kissed her on the cheek I turned away not wanting to see them and stared out at the ocean the sun was about to set.

“Jealous Gabriel” Aly said I shook my head no

“Why would I be we are just friends” I said not turning towards her

“You and Ash are so blind” I heard her mumble wonder what she’s talking about Ash came over to me and squatted down in front of me blocking my view. I looked up at her to see her smiling at me she handed me a bag.

“I got your favorite Our Strawberry Blonde” I grinned at her and opened the bag pulling it out yay and she got the biggest size. I was opening the top but she stop me I looked at her confused she grinned at me and took it out my hands.

“Ash what are you doing” I asked I really want my ice cream.

“Come on put your shorts on” She said standing up and grabbing her hoodie putting it on. She held out her hand and I took it and she pulled me up. I quickly pulled on my shorts on.

“Where are you two going” Sean asked eyeing both of us. The girls grinned at us and I looked back at them with the “what the hell” look

“None of your business ” Ash replied taking my hand and pulling me in the opposite direction.

“Where are we going Ash” I Asked matching her pace so she wasn’t pulling me she grinned down at me.

“It’s a surprise I want to show you something” We were walking further down the beach where there were only a few people hanging around.

“Ash the curiosity is killing me” I told her we reached the end of the beach where there were a bunch of rocks she started to them. I looked at her like she was crazy I’m a terrible climber I have terrible coordination.

“Ash I can’t climb” I told her she looked back down at me and frowned.

“Gabby it’s only a few more steps then you don’t have to climb from here” she said

“What if I fall,” I asked looking at the rocks with caution

“C’mon were going to miss it and I wont let you” She reached her hand down and I grabbed she hauled me up the first couple of rocks and grabbed my waist every time I would slip.

“We are almost there then we can walk from there and no climbing” She reached a flat surface in between the rugged rocks there was a little almost invisible path leading toward the back in between a couple of bushes and medium sized trees.

“See now we just walk” She took my hand and guided me in between the paths I looked around as we walked through them it was like a mini forest you could still see the beach from here through the trees she came to a stop and I bumped into her.

“Ouch” I rubbed my nose and looked at Ash who shook her head at me before she pulled me between to trees opening the branches as we walked through. I looked around again this time there was a small wooden path we followed it till it stop In front of a big boulder.

“Ash I think this is the end of the path”

“No its not” she said getting on her knees crawling through a small opening disappearing on the other side.

“C’mon Gabby we have only a few minutes hurry up” she yelled from the other side I sighed and got on my knees crawling through the small space when I got to the other side Ash was there grinning holding her hand out I took it and she pulled me back up. I don’t see what’s the point of this she was still grinning when she moved out my way.

I gasp it was beautiful up here I walked further out to the end we where on a cliff top that gave the perfect view of the ocean and the sunset that was starting I looked down to see that the beach wasn’t down there only sharp rock I turned to the left and saw the beach and the many people that were on it. Ash came up behind be.

“Its beautiful isn’t it,” She said grinning as I looked away from the view I nodded my head.

“How in the world did you find this,” I asked I mean any normal person would not have found this.

“I don’t know I found it my freshman year I was just walking around and I found it I think there used to be a path that lead out here from the beach but it must have been a storm or something that blocked everyone from coming back up here” She said sitting down she patted the spot next to her and I sat down as she gave me my ice cream.

We sat and ate in silence watching the sun go down it was so beautiful the colors were mixing together creating and orange hue I leaned my head on Ash shoulders enjoying the breathtaking view. I finished eating my Ice cream and put the cut down yum cant beat strawberry ice cream I let out of breath and patted my stomach. Ash looked down at me and laughed I frowned at her.

“What” I asked she still laughed and I glared at her.

“You have a ice cream all over your face” she said I blushed I put my hand on my face trying to wipe off the ice cream I guess it wasn’t working because Ash was still laughing at me I narrowed my eyes at her as she wipe a tear.

“Here let me do it” She reached over and wiped the ice cream of the side of my face laughing slightly as she reached my nose and wipe some off.

“Is it gone,” I asked she shook her head and leaned in her hands touched the corner of my mouth I looked at her as she wipe it off and didn’t move her hand I stared at her as she glance down at my lips I swear my heart stopped I think I’m having a heart attack she leaned in closer without realizing it I leaned into her touch bringing us closer together we were only few centimeter apart when the sound of Maroon 5 came blasting out of nowhere breaking us apart I leaned back as Ash answered her phone. My heart was beating fast I felt flutters in my stomach as I blushed; and looked over at Ash as she hung up the phone she smiled slightly at me and stood up.

“C’mon that was Sean the others are wondering were we are the party started” She said putting our trash in a bag and holding out her hand for me to take I grabbed it and pulled my self up. I looked at the beach it was dark already but I could see a bright fire glowing in the dark.

(Ash POV)

We finally made it down to the beach I was holding Gabriel hand as usual as we made our way to the bonfire where people were either dancing to the music drinking beer or hanging around talking. I cant believe I almost kissed her I feel so stupid now, I can’t and don’t want to ruin this friendship we have I looked down at her as we got closer to the others who were sitting around the bonfire talking. Matt had is arm wrapped around Amber waist while she had her head leaning on his chest next to them were Sean and Aly who were practically eating each others face out I grimaced at them before looking at Alex and Jenna who were talking animatedly they spotted us and waved us over.

“Where the hell did you two disappear to,” Alex asked I looked at him and shrugged while Gabriel let go of my hand and sat down next to Jenna on the logs they set up.

“I’m going to get something to drink you want anything” I asked Gabriel

“Anything is fine” she replied I walked off to get myself a beer and Gabriel some juice or soda I’m definitely not going to get her drunk. I grabbed a bud out a cooler and went in the other coolers looking for something else I was on the last cooler non of them had anything non alcoholic there were a few wine coolers but I prefer if she had something else. I went through the last cooler finding it filled with juice and soda I picked up a Pepsi and Apple juice. I closed it and went back to them Sean and Aly finally decided to stop their heavy make out session. I sat down next to Gabriel handing her both the Pepsi and the Apple juice she looked at me funny while I opened my beer and to a sip from it.

“Why do you get the alcohol and I don’t” She asked I looked at her and rolled my eyes.

“ Do you want some,” I ask handing her my beer she took and took a swig from it grimacing I laughed at her and took it back.

“Now drink your juice and be happy” she frowned opening her Apple juice taking little sips from it.

“So Ash where did you take my little friend” Samantha asked sitting next to me like I was going to tell her I shook my head.

“Somewhere and everywhere between nowhere” I replied smirking at her as she glared at me she looked at Gabriel hoping to get an answer.

“What she said” she said smirking right along with me Samantha looked between the two of us and rolled her eyes before getting up and leaving.

I finished my bottle of beer and stood up

“Where you going” Gabriel asked I smiled

“To dance it is a party” I said turning around walking away I picked a random person to dance with for a while until she started touching me then I moved away and only to run into Gabriel who was also dancing with some random guy I smirked and tapped the guy on his shoulder he looked back at me and I pointed towards Gabriel he nodded and moved to the next girl I quickly took his spot without Gabriel noticing she really needed to put a shirt on someone could easily untie her bikini from behind.

(Gabriel POV)

Ash did have a point it is a party so why not dance.

“Guys I’m going to go dance” I told them they nodded as I walked away to dance I was dancing and some random guy came up behind be and started dancing I didn’t care as long as he didn’t try anything I was getting into the song last Friday night when I felt some ones hands grab me by my waist pulling me back into their chest. I stopped dancing and turned to them ready to curse them out. I saw Ash grinning down at me I smacked her and she laughed.

“Ash don’t do that again,” I said scolding her

“You need to put a shirt on someone can easily take off your swimsuit top” She told me frowning at me.

“No they wont I tied it tight” I said she shook her head and snaked her arm around my neck tugging the tie making my top fall slightly I quickly pulled it back up before it fell I glared at Ash.

“Was that necessary” I asked she nodded

“Yea I proved my point now turn around so I can retie it” I turned around still frowning if my hands weren’t occupied I would have slapped her I felt her fingers glide across my back as she retied it causing me to shiver slightly.

“Finished” She said I turned around watching as she took off her hoddie and handed it to me.

“Here” I took it out of her hand and put it on and zipped it up.

“Thanks”

“No problem now lets dance our asses off” She said smiling as I laughed for the rest of the night we goofed off never dancing seriously.

1:00 am

I waved goodbye to all my friends as everyone went there separate ways the beach was now empty there was evidence of a party the DJ left awhile ago but that didn’t stop anyone from having fun as the hours ticked down Ash had suggested us too all go before she got to tired to drive.

“So did you have fun” She asked while stopping in my drive way.

“Yes I had a great time it was better than the last party” I said jokingly she laughed slightly.

“I think every party would have been better than that one” She said I nodded  my head in agreement remembering the disaster of the last party I went to I turned to Ash again.

“Thanks for the ride and everything else” She smirked at me

“And as always no problem” I laughed at her and kissed her on the cheek before getting out the car.

“Bye Ash” I said she grinned at me

“Bye Gabby” She replied back I closed the door and smiled making my in the house I went up stairs and changed into my PJ’s before laying down in my bed I closed my eyes and turned on my side thinking about all the fun I had today I was just about to fall asleep when I opened my eyes in shock I just realized I almost kissed my best friend not to mention it was a girl.
