(Ash POV)

Abigail and I were laughing about something Jesse said to her when he came up when I was sick last year.

“My brothers are so stupid sometimes I can imagine something like that happening,” I said still laughing I looked at Abigail and her face was red from laughing I opened my mouth to say something else but the door slammed open, Abigail and I turned around to see Gabriel her face was flushed and she was out of breath.

“Ash I found you I was looking for you everywhere ” she said breathing heavy I stood up and walked over to her quickly.

“Gabby what wrong” I asked worried even though I was still partly mad at what happened but I more worried than mad at her I grabbed her hand and sat her down in the chair.

“Aly said that you get depressed easily and then you have meaningless sex and” she said quickly I only caught Aly and meaningless sex, but once she said Aly said I knew this was going to turn out stupid Aly is stupid sometimes.

“Whoa Gabby slow down” I said crouching down in front of her she looked at me sadly

“Ok now continue” I said when she calmed down a little.

“Aly said you get depressed easily and when you are you have meaningless sex or something like that I’m sorry Ash I didn’t mean to take sides I should have listened to what you guys were talking about at lunch but I was in my own little world so I missed the part about you and the 4 weeks and I don’t want you having meaningless sex with some random girl and I” I cut her off before she could finish her rambles that didn’t make much sense in the first place.

“Gabby I’m not depressed nor am I having meaningless sex with random people.” I said she nodded and I smiled at her.

“But Aly said” I stopped her again

“Gabby there is nothing wrong,”

“Are you still mad I’m sorry I didn’t mean to” She said

“ Gabby stop ok I’m not mad at you and there is nothing to apologize for” I said smiling

When I see Aly I’m going to kill her where the hell does she come up with this stuff.

“So you aren’t mad at me,” she asked

“No you know I can’t stay mad at my favorite girl” I said grinning as she jumped into me and wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me I hugged her back but pulled back.

“Gabby please don’t listen to Aly again she tends to over exaggerate things”

“You mean the Depression and the sex thing” she said I nodded laughing as she blushed and hid her face in my neck.

“Ash I thought she was serious I thought you were going to mess around with someone” She mumbled into my neck I laughed again.

“So you were only worried about me messing around with someone not my depression,” I said she shook her head no

“Was someone jealous,” I said smirking she lifted her head up her face was a dark shade of red

“No I just didn’t want you to regret doing anything” she said I looked at her

“Don’t worry you’re the only girl for me” I said giving her a lopsided grin

(Gabriel POV)

I shouldn’t have said anything I still had my face buried in she in her neck

“Was someone jealous” she said I could hear her smirking as I lifted my head and looked at her.

“No I just didn’t want you to regret doing anything,” I said, I know my face was more than likely red as a tomato or worse.

“Don’t worry you’re the only girl for me” She said giving me a lopsided grin I felt my face heat up more and my heart flutter as she said that ugh she shouldn’t have this type of effect on me I buried my head into the crook of her neck again embarrassed. I heard a light laugh come from behind us.

“Oh I didn’t introduce you Gabby this is Abigail and Abigail this is Gabriel” She said I lifted my head up and looked around Ash seeing a young women she looked to be about in her early 20’s, she had long black hair a gray eyes with glasses on she was very pretty.

“So you’re the one I heard so much about” She said grinning at me they were talking about me, I looked down at Ash who had a small tinge of pink in her cheeks is she blushing.

“I only hope it wasn’t anything bad” I replied back smiling at her she shook her head.

“No not at all, right Ash” Ash murmured something under breath before standing up giving Abigail a look, Abigail only smiled at her.

“Anyways we have to go” Ash said I looked at her

“But we just got here and I want to get to know Miss Abigail” I said Ash shook her head

“No you just got here and you can come back tomorrow,” she said I frowned at her.

“Please call me Abigail I’m to young to be addressed as Miss and you guys should get to class its about to start soon” Abigail said I nodded and Ash looked at me.

“You listen to her but you don’t listen to me” She said shaking her head I shrugged

“Yea, technically she can tell us what to do and you can’t” I said she rolled her eyes and grabbed my hand tugging me up I stumbled a little as I came to my feet and fell into her chest as she laughed I looked up at her and glared before punching her in the stomach, I grinned as she bent over holding her stomach serves her right. The nurse started laughing at us as Ash stood up wincing slightly as she glowered at me.

“Well it was nice meeting you, c’mon Ash we don’t want to be late for our next class” I said opening the door still grinning at her she didn’t say anything but followed me.

“Ash I like her try not to lose her” Abigail said as I walked out Ash mumbled something back before following me out the door I wonder what that meant it’s not like she going to misplace me or anything.

(Ash POV)

“Ash I like her don’t lose her” Abigail said as Gabriel walked out the door I turned and around and smirked at her.

“I don’t plan to” I mumbled before turning back around to catch up with Gabriel. I was still in my gym clothes so I’m probably going to leave after I walk her to her class we still had a few minutes till the bell rang I walked her to the second floor to the science wing. I haven’t been up here in a while since I took all of my science classes already.

“Gabby you do realize that your still in your gym uniform right” I said she looked down at herself and scrunched up her face sighing before looking at me stopping at the corner.

“Well your in your uniform too” She said I shrugged

“I’m not going to class anyways” she frowned at me ready to argue as I smirked at her.

“Ash” I knew that voice from anywhere it was high pitched and squeaky I looked up seeing Michele coming down the hallway in her short school skirt and her way to small shirt that was unbutton to the point where you could see the top of her pink lace bra she wasn’t bad looking well her body wasn’t but her face had too many layers of makeup on it and she had those fake eyelashes she looked at Gabriel frowning while she flipped her hair.

“Hey Michele” I mumbled she fluttered her eyes at me wrapping her arms around my neck pulling herself close to me I looked at her usually I would jump at an opportunity like this, but it didn’t feel right.

“Ash I’m going to class” I heard Gabriel mumble softly walking away no your not I grabbed Michele’s arms and pulled her off of me ignoring her shocked face as she frowned at Gabriel form as she walked away.

“I’m walking with you then” I said pushing Michele out the way I now its rude but who cares maybe she’ll stay away from me.

“Ash but what about me” Michele whined as I was catching up to Gabriel I shrugged.

“What about you” I replied back giving her a disgusted look as she stomp her foot, I rolled my eyes as I finally caught up to Gabriel I reached out and grabbed her hand.

(Gabriel)

So I walked away after seeing the slut throw herself at Ash I didn’t want to see it or feel the slight ache in my chest so I did the next best thing which was to walk away I told Ash I was going to my next class. I turned around the corner trying to ignore the feeling I just had I shouldn’t feel this way I can’t feel this way maybe I’m just jealous that’s she stealing one of the few friends I have away from me, yup that’s it I’m happy with that answer. I felt someones hand engulf my one, bringing me out my thoughts I looked up seeing Ash smirking at me I frowned.

“You finished already” I asked irritated she looked at me with her eyebrows raised

“It’s the green eyed monster coming back,” she asked

“No there is not a green eyed monster” I said pulling my hand out of hers as she grinned at me, green eyed monster she’s crazy.

“It’s ok Gabby I already told you that you’re the only girl for me” she said smirking down at me grabbing my hand again, I looked up at trying to suppress my smile but of course I failed and smiled while rolling my eyes at her.

“What ever Ash” I replied back as we continued to walk hand in hand to my class.

We were almost to my door when I remembered that I still had my gym clothes on I groaned now I have to walk back down to the gym.

(Ash POV)

“Its ok Gabby I told you that you’re the only girl for me” I said and I meant every single word, I realized that I did like her as more than just a friend I think Abigail help me realize it earlier even if I denied it but when Michele came up to me I realized that it didn’t feel right anymore and when Gabriel walked away I felt like my heart ache. I know she doesn’t feel the same way, no I’m positive she doesn’t feel the same way, I can tell that she’s attracted to guys from the looks she occasionally gives them, so in other words she way out of my league, I know me, Ash Davis admits that there is a girl that is out of my league, but I’m happy with being just friends although it doesn’t mean that I’m going to stop my harmless flirting with her.

“Whatever Ash” I smirked at her as she rolled her eyes at me then groaned I think she just realized that she was still in her uniform yes I did notice but I wasn’t going to say anything, I let out a light chuckle.

“C’mon let’s get you back to the gym” I said she shook her head

“No, I’m going with you I don’t feel like changing or going back down there”

“Fine with me I have to grab my keys then we can go” I said she nodded and we turned back in the direction we came from, heading to my locker we went downstairs and to my locker quickly before heading out the school. I think this school needs better security I ditched so many times and not one person has caught me I don’t even try to hide the fact that I’m leaving anymore.

“Ok where are we going” Gabriel asked once I was on the road I shrugged I didn’t know where I was going initially I was going to go to the basketball court and clean it up a bit but I guess I’ll do it later.

“I don’t know where do you want to go” I asked she was staring out the window as we drove pass stores.

“I don’t know now that I think about it I never really been around here that much so I don’t know what you guys have up here anyway” She said turning back to me I nodded

“Ok I’ll give you a tour of the city sometime but we don’t have time for that but for now I guess you can come with me to pick up something”

“Ok fine with me” she grew quite it wasn’t an awkward silence but a comfortable one.

“Ash what did Abigail mean by don’t lose me” She asked I glanced at her out the corner of my eye she looked confused I groaned how was I supposed to explain this think Ash think ohh.

“Nothing she just doesn’t want you to get lost or something” I said ok that was a stupid answer but she wouldn’t know she’s gullible I glanced at her as she gave me a look, she didn’t believe but she still nodded without asking any more questions. I pulled onto a dirt road way heading to down past into the wooded area until I was on a regular back road.

“Ash if I didn’t know you I would think that you were going to kill me and leave me in the woods” Gabriel said holding onto the door as we hit a bump I laughed.

“Someone has quite the imagination”

“No I just think logically sometimes,” she said nodding her head as I came to a stop in front of the shop I wanted to go to well it was more like a warehouse even though it looked abandoned but it was an auto shop were I come to get parts, it’s the best auto shop in town. I got out the car waiting for Gabriel she was still sitting in the car looking around I could tell she was deciding whether or not to come out the car the place wasn’t that bad I don’t think it is. Sure it needs a little work and maybe they should cut down a couple of trees and get a paint job but it’s not that bad. I sighed and went over to her side of the car and opened the door.

“Gabby get out the car” I said in a bored tone she shook her head

“Ash is this place safe,” She asked looking behind me with her face frowned up

“Yes Gabriel why would I bring you to a place that wasn’t” I rolled my eyes and pulled her out the car.

“I don’t know” she mumbled I sighed again as she walked next to me looking around cautiously every second I shook my head at her as we made it to the door. I knocked waiting for an answer, the door creaked open and Gabriel squeak I chuckled and pushed the door open walking in with Gabriel following behind me.

(Gabriel POV)

Ash brought me to an abandoned warehouse it looked really creepy if you ask me, I followed behind her as we stepped into the building it was a little dark but I could still see the outlines of objects in here. What could she possibly be picking up from here? What if she a drug dealer no she doesn’t seem like one I looked over at Ash as she came to a stop in front of another door she reached for the handle and opened it. I heard a growling sound from behind us I turned around a screamed it was a bulldog and It was growling at me I turned to Ash who had to turned around to look also, I jumped behind Ash and held onto her shirt as it ran towards us barking.

“Ash do something” I shouted she laughed I looked at her like she was crazy before screaming again as it jumped onto her I moved away as it knocked her down it was still growling and barking at her. She reached her hand out to pet it as a man with shoulder length black hair and the same electric blue eyes as Ash with overall on came out laughing along with Ash I looked down at Ash who was still on the ground with the dog licking her face.

“Ash what brings you around” the man said he had a deep solid voice Ash pushed the dog off her and stood up smiling at him.

“TJ called me earlier and said that my part came in”

“Yea the cylinder came in yesterday I believe, come on back and I’ll get it for you” He said Ash nodded grabbing my hand and followed him through the door. Once we were through I realized that this place was an auto shop, there were men lingering around fixing cars. It was nice inside and it definitely looked better on the inside than the outside. The man opened an office door, going in leaving Ash and I out here. Ash finds the strangest and most deserted places, who would have found this place I sure wouldn’t have. I was still looking around when a guy who looked around our age came towards us. He was a pretty nice look guy he had brown somewhat curly hair his eyes were light brown his face was oval shaped with a distinct jaw line he had on the same oil and greased stained overall as everyone else.

“Ash man what’s up” they did that hug thing that I will never understand

“Nothing just picking up my parts” She replied he nodded and looked towards me.

“So you going to introduce me to this beautiful lady” he said smiling at me I think I blushed I hate being complimented by people.

“Gabby this is TJ an old friend of mines and TJ this is Gabriel” She said as the man from earlier came out with a box.

“I’ll be back,” she said letting go of my hand and walking to the counter where her package was leaving me with TJ.

“How long have you two been dating” TJ asked I laughed and he looked at me confused.

“We’re not dating were just friends” I explained he nodded and smiled.

“Well if that’s the case you wouldn’t mine taking my number” He said wow he gets straight to the point I was going to say no but I think that would be rude so I just nodded my head. He reached into his pocket and took out a piece of paper and wrote down his number and gave it to me.

“I’ll be expecting a call from you” He said I laughed at him most likely he won’t get one I can tell that he’s not my type he seems like he’s a player.

“Sure” I said putting the paper in my pocket as Ash came back over with her package smiling at me when she reached me.

“Ready to go” She asked I nodded

“Yup” She laughed at my enthusiasm and turned to TJ

“See you later man” he nodded and they did that hug thing again and mumbled something to him I have to ask Ash to teach me that.

“It was nice meeting you TJ” I said he stared at me

“It was nice meeting you to” He said looking between Ash and I strangely before smiling at and winking ok then I turned to Ash who was frowning at him hmm wonder what’s up with her. I grabbed her hand and nodded my head towards the door

“C’mon lets go we are running on a time limit,” I said she nodded and we walked out to the exit and to the car.

“So where are we going” I asked I really had a taste for some ice cream but I didn’t want to get any I think I’m gaining weight but I missed lunch because I forgot my stupid lunch money again so I’m hungry too.

(Ash POV)

“Um I don’t know” We don’t have time to do anything big probably just grab a bite to eat since I didn’t eat at lunch today and I need to for practice. I looked at Gabriel and she was frowning at her stomach she must be hungry too, now that I think about it I didn’t see her eating lunch today, I pulled out of the road and drove to the main road so we could pick up some food then head back to school, I think I might take her to a Jo’s Diner they have the best burgers and milk shakes ever and it was only 20 minutes away from school so we should be able to eat and get back to school by 3:30 which is when the final bell rings. I got off at the next exit where the diner was and parked in front off the door and turned off the ignition.

“Gabby we’re here” I looked over at her she was still looking at her stomach before she looked up at me.

“Ash what is here” She asked I sighed

“Gabby it says JO’s diner it’s a diner I’m hungry and I know you’re hungry so get out the car so we can eat” I said to her slowly like a she was a little kid she glared at me before getting out the car and slamming my precious door she frustrates me sometimes I hope she didn’t mess up my door I sighed getting out the car and following her through the door.

“Gabby this way” I said as she stood there, this was a seat yourself diner I led her to a booth by the window.

(Gabriel POV)

“Gabby it says JO’s diner it’s a diner I’m hungry and I know you’re hungry so get out the car so we can eat” she said to me like I was some little kids I glared at her before hoping out the car and slamming the door I know what the sign says I can read I went inside and looked around it was like one of those classic diners you see in the movies all the time with the stool like chairs in the front with the long table where you could see them cooking and the booths by the window.

“Gabby this way” Ash said from behind me she led me over to a red booth by the window I sat down followed by Ash on the other side of me. A waiter came over and handed us our menu.

“Hi my name is Ariel I’ll be your waitress for today can I start you off with a drink” She asked I looked up at her she had fire red hair and bright hazel eyes she was cute but she reminded me of someone but I didn’t know who.

“Oh hey Ariel how’s life been” Ash asked looking up from her phone smiling at her

“Good I’m still working in this hell hole” She replied smirking Ash laughed

“Don’t make me tell your father that you’re talking about his diner again” She said Ariel rolled her eyes smiling at her

“That old mans not going to do anything anyway, so your getting your usual right” she asked Ash nodded Ariel looked over at me and grinned.

“And what can I get you” I looked at my menu I don’t know what to get I never eaten here before plus I didn’t want anything to eat and I know I’m contradicting myself here.

“Um get her a Strawberry milkshake and I’ll get a vanilla also you can get her the same meal as mine” Ash said I frowned at her.

“You can’t order for me you know how do I know if I’m going to like it” I said she sighed and looked back up to Ariel

“Don’t mind her you can just put the order in please” I frowned at her again as Ariel laughed at us.

“Ok I’ll be back with your shakes” she said and walked off.

“Ash I’m not hungry so why did you order me something” I asked she stared at me and frowned

“You are hungry I didn’t see you eat anything at lunch and your going to eat when it come because you’re going to love it plus I got you a milkshake” She said I stared at her

“I’m not hungry” I stated as my stomach growled Ash smirked and raised her eyebrow at me while I blushed and glared at my stupid stomach.

“But you’re not hungry right” She said

“Shut up Ash” I said as Ariel came back with out milkshakes and sat them down in front of us I looked at mines and took a sip it was so delicious it was like pure bliss. I heard Ash chuckle I looked up to see her laughing at me.

“What” I asked confused

“You look like you’ve died and gone to heaven just now” She said I shrugged so what its good.

“Ash how everything been going with your family” Ariel asked

“Fine everyone is back in town for Mitchells wedding in January” Ash said the girl looked surprised.

“Mitch’s getting married I never thought I see that day” She said Ash laughed

“Me to but she’s a nice girl she’s staying with us until the wedding you can drop by sometime to meet her” She nodded

“I think I will now who is this,” She said looking at me

“I’m Gabriel her friend” I said smiling at her she smiled back at me

“Well I guess you already know that I’m Ariel I’m the idiots cousin” She said I laughed as Ash glared at her

“I’m right here you know” She said Ariel laughed

“I know anyways I’m going to get your food” She said walking off laughing

“I like her she seems down to earth”

“Yea she’s bi-polar too,” She mumbled I laughed again

Our food came pretty quickly when I plate was sat down my eyes grew big on my plate was a huge Bacon Cheeseburger with some type of sauce spilling out of it, it also had fries on the side.

“Eat up Gabby its delicious” Ash said before taking a huge bite out of her burger I looked at mines.

“You’re going to make me fat” I told her she swallowed her hamburger and frowned at me.

“I’ll still love you when you’re fat and beside you skinny as a stick” She said smirking at me I blushed and picked up my burger biting into it.

This is so good I wonder what kind of sauce they use my tastes buds are going crazy I chewed and swallowed it.

(Ash POV)

“I’ll still love you when you’re fat and beside you skinny as a stick” I said honestly I wouldn’t care if she was big as a house she would still be beautiful to me plus I hate when girls don’t eat when take them somewhere I smirked as she bit into the burger he face showed satisfaction as she chewed It with her eyes closed this place has the best burgers in the city. I took another bite of my own hamburger enjoying the taste of the specialty sauce they used on it. I finished my burger pretty quickly and started on my fries as she put down half of her burger.

“Ash I can’t eat all of this,” She whined as I stole a fry off her plate and ate it she smacked my hand away as I reached for another one.

“What you said you couldn’t eat it all I’m helping you” I said she gave me a dry look

“Ash keep your hands off my plate” She said I smirked for someone who wasn’t hungry she sure didn’t want to share.

“Whatever you can take it home now drink your shake before it melts” I told her she happily obliged and did as she was told I her and waved Ariel over for the bill.

“Can you get her a carry out tray too” I asked she nodded as I gave her, my credit card by the time she came out Gabriel was finished dinking her shake I took my receipt and signed it handing it back to her and keeping my copy. Gabriel put her burger and fries in her box before placing it in the bag. I stood up and waited for Gabriel to get her bag straighten out before I grabbed it for her and helped her up.

“Come visit soon Ariel and tell your father I said hey” I said she nodded and gave me a brief hug.

“I will, see you guys later” she said as we left the diner and headed back to school, we got back to school at 3:40 so I guess it was a longer drive than I thought it was.

“And we are back now no more ditching for you” I said wiggling my finger at her she laughed

“You have no room to talk mister” She said I gasped

“I am not a mister I am a misses to you” She looked at me and laughed I raised my eyebrows at her.

“What? the day I see you as a girl is when pigs fly,” She stated

“So you’re saying I’m not a girl,” I asked she nodded smiling I shook my head.

“Ok then I guess I can take that as answer but it doesn’t make sense” I said she laughed

“It does make sense you dress like a guy, look like a guy, speak like a guy, and you mess with girls like a guy, nothing about you screams I’m a girl,” She said grinning

“Well sorry to tell you this but I’m a girl I get my period just like you do I get cramps and I can push out children” She laughed

“What” I asked

“Nothing it just I can’t imagine you getting a period or being pregnant” She said still laughing I rolled my eyes and reached over unbuckling her and pushing her door opened.

“Get out” I said she looked at me still laughing.

“Bye Ash and thanks for the food” she said grinning at me she kissed my cheek and got out the car

“Whatever don’t forget your bag,” I said reaching into the bag seat and pulling out her bag handing it to her.

“Thanks again Ash” she said walking off I watched her get into her car, she waved again before she pulled off I touched my cheek and smiled I’m such a dork sitting here holding my cheek and grinning.

PS a green eyed monster means jeolousy its something referred to in shakespeare in case you were confused

And I’m so excited that I just can’t hide it….I got my 100th fan or 102nd fan but I hit the 100 mark yaymeeee… so thanks you everyone… Also it was National coming out day October 11th yes i celebrated by coming out even though I was already out but you know what I mean lol ……. Anyway back to my point which is what do you think..……..
