Chapter 18

(Ash POV)

"Hurry up Gabby we're going to be late" I shouted through the window watching her as she closed the door to her house.

"I’m coming I'm coming" She shouted back running to the car I grinned as she shut the door and glared at me I step on the gas and sped to school.

"You know you shouldn't rush me it’s you're fault that we are going to be late" She mumbled I took a quick glance at her to see her frowning with her arms crossed.

"My fault it's your you should have went to bed like I told you last night but no you want to talk on the phone" I told her back pulling into the school parking lot she pushed me into the door as I put the car into park.

"Well your the one who called me" She replied back as we both got out the car and headed for the school we were definitely late today.

"Yea to ask for my shoes which you still haven't given me yet" We turned down the hall arguing towards our first class.

"Well it wasn't my fault that you woke up late," she grumbled at me I turned to her and raised my eyebrow.

"Last time I checked you were the one who wouldn't hang up last night and you woke up late too" I said pushing the door opening to the classroom letting her walk in first the teacher looked at us and asked us why we were late which started are discussion again

“Well you woke up late first” She said I looked at her confused and so did everyone else

“Gabby that didn’t even make sense” I said sitting down glaring at Alex as he watched Gabriel bend down to sit he needs to keep his eyes to himself.

“Yes it does, either way it’s your fault that we’re late” She said back I rolled my eyes.

“No its yours miss Ash I can’t go to sleep can you stay on the phone with me until I fall asleep” I mimicked her voice smirking as she blushed

“I did not say that” she said glaring at me as her face continued to turn red I laughed at her.

“Sure you didn’t you had me up till three in the morning I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t stay on the phone that long for any other reason” she huffed and folded her arms turning to the teacher who looked amused he shook his head and told us not to be late again I chuckled and turned away from her. Last night my brother broke glass in the kitchen and I forgot that Gabrielle still had my slip on shoes so I called her and we talked all night about nothing and everything but I did learn some things about her that I didn’t know before like she always wanted a puppy and that she was a daddies girl even though he wasn’t home often but when he was he spoiled her rotten it was the same for her sister except she was a mommies girl we talked till three because she couldn’t go to sleep personally I think its because of the ice cream she was eating while she was on the phone with me. I turned to her to see her still frowning I poked her on her cheek.

“Stop frowning you’re going to get wrinkles,” I said grinning at her she swatted my hand away and glared at me before sticking her tongue out at me

The bell finally rung and me and Gabriel walked out well Gabriel walked ahead of me while I tried to catch up I laughed once I reached her and swung my arm around her shoulder she looked at my arm then me before scrunching up her face and pushing my arm off I laughed at her and did it again ignoring her look as we made our way to our next class.

“Gabby cheer up at least we didn’t get in trouble” I said she looked at me and frowned.

“We wouldn’t have had to worry about that in the first place if you came on time in the morning anyway” She said I groaned not wanting to start this conversation again

“Ok, ok you win it was entirely my fault that we were late are you happy now” I asked she nodded and smiled I rolled my eyes as we walked into class speaking of classes.

“Question Gabby how’s everything in the classes you have with Declan,” I asked quietly as we sat down I completely forgot about the classes she had with him.

“Fine I only saw him once since the cafeteria situation other than that I haven’t seen him and I moved my seat away from him too” She said I nodded frowning where the heck is he oh well I guess this is a good thing at least he isn’t bothering her anymore I hope he never come’s back personally, I turned back to the front as the teacher walked in.

(Gabriel POV)

Now that Ash has mentioned it I haven’t seen Declan in awhile I didn’t really care where he was as long as he stayed away from me, for awhile I’ve been scared to see him in my classes so I’m happy he hasn’t showed up yet and I hope that he doesn’t. I looked at Ash and she had her head down I rolled my eyes at her how does she pass all her classes she either sleeping or ditching. I sighed and waited for class to be over.

It was finally lunchtime and all of us were sitting down at the table in our usual spots except Ash I think she’s still arguing with the teacher from our second period about her detention for sleeping in class she was mad at me to for not waking her up when the teacher saw her not to mention I was laughing when she said she had detention.

“Hey where’s Ash” Samantha asked looking for her.

“I believe she’s arguing with the teacher over a detention” I told her laughing

“What she do now” Aly asked I laughed again

“Nothing she was sleeping in class as usual” I said shrugging as Ash walked in looking pissed

“You didn’t wake her either did you” Aly asked smirking I shook my head as Ash walked up and sat down next to me frowning.

“So what did she say,” I asked smiling at her she frowned at me

“I have detention because of you” she said I frowned at her

“It wasn’t my fault you were sleeping in class” I said back it wasn’t my fault it was her decision

“Yes it was if you hadn’t kept me up all night I wouldn’t have fallen asleep” she said putting her down on the table.

“You could’ve hung up and went to bed,” I mumbled as she groaned

“I tried but you kept saying to stay on the phone with you till you went to sleep which took forever” she grumbled back I rolled my eyes

“It didn’t help that you were talking either” I said nudging her slightly she sat and nudged me back I frowned and smacked her on the back of her head she glared at me while rubbing the back of her head.

“Its still your fault,” she mumbled I opened my mouth to speak but I was cut off my a round of laughter me and Ash turned to our friends and glared at them.

“You guys fight like an old married couple” Mat said stuffing bread in his mouth

“Whatever” Ash and I both mumbled causing them to laugh again. Ash stood up and looked at her where is she going she looked at me and smirked.

“Don’t worry I’m not leaving you, I’m just going to get my lunch” I frowned at her I’m not worried that she’s leaving me I watched her walk off to the line. When Ash got to a line a short girl came over she looked just like Tyler.

“Tyler can you ask mom for my phone back” She said going up too tyler he sighed

“No you ask her yourself” he said back she frowned at him and we laughed causing her to look at us.

“You guys this is my sister Mia” He mumbled glaring at her we all said hi to her before they went back to there conversation and food. I frowned I forgot my lunch money again because we were rushing again.

“You don’t have you’re money do you” Jenna asked shaking her head

“No” I replied Alex looked at me and smirked.

“I could give you something to eat” Alex said waggling his eyebrows Aly and Sean punched him on his arm

“I think I just threw up in my mouth” I mumbled they all laughed before going back to their food just as Ash came back

(Ash POV)

“Don’t worry I’m not leaving you, I’m just going to get my lunch” I said smirking at her as she frowned at me as I walked to line and ordered chicken nuggets and pizza with two soda I paid for it and made my way back to the table seeing a girl standing beside to Tyler they seemed like they were in a deep conversation I couldn’t see her face but oh well I sat down and pushed my tray to Gabriel she looked at me confused.

“Here you want nuggets or pizza” I asked hopefully she’ll chose the nuggets cause I want the pizza.

“Ash I cant” She started I shook my head I know she most likely forgot her lunch money today because we were rushing.

“No I know you forgot your money so chose which one you want” I said she sighed and took the nuggets yes pizza for me today I smiled and gave her the tray taking my pizza off of It and started eating it.

“Look Mia I’ll asked mom for it today ok” I heard Tyler say I turned to him seeing him talking to that chick I took a closer look at her as she bent back up and turned in my direction her eyes widened as she looked at me I think mines did the same.

“You” we both shouted at the same time pointing at each other. The whole table looked between the two of us confused.

“So you met my sister Mia I see,” Tyler said looking between the two of us.

“That’s the guy I was telling you about the one in the girls bathroom who was spying on me when I was using the bathroom” she said still pointed to me.

“And you’re the idiot who pepper sprayed me” I retorted back angrily Gabriel grabbed my arm and gave me a look telling me to calm down.

“Dude you what the hell you were in the girls bathroom spying on my sister” Tyler said angrily glaring at me.

“I have better things to do than spy on your idiot sister” I said back staring at him I’m not going to fight him over something stupid.

“Obviously you don’t if you were in the girls bathroom,” he said frowning at me and I rolled my eyes as the girl spoke.

“Tyler he was probably jerking off while watching me” She said scrunching up her face Tyler turned back to me and I smirked this should be fun.

“Yes I was jerking off to her your sister has a nice ass and has flawless skin not to mention those lovely pink lace underwear she was wearing yesterday” I said dryly rolling my eyes watching as the girl blushed whoa I was just kidding I didn’t think it was true Tyler looked at her as she turned red before coming towards me.

“Ash you idiot” I heard Gabriel hissed at me as I stood up if he wanted to fight I would I chuckled as he got in my face.

“I knew something was wrong with you from the moment I met you I don’t even know why Gabriel even hangs out with a sick person like you” He said I glared at him.

“Shut up your just looking for an excuse to get me away from Gabriel” I said back Gabriel looked between us before she stood up and stood in between us she put her hand on my chest and frowned at me but I didn’t pay attention I looked behind him to see his dumb sister standing there with a smug look on her face.

“Now you’re going to get beat up you pervert,” She said Gabriel turned and frowned at her.

“Ash’s not a pervert,” she said looking at her ha she defending me but she doesn’t need to

“Don’t defend your little boy toy Gabriel you know he shouldn’t have been in the girls bathroom spying on my sister” Tyler said glaring at me and pushing Gabriel out the way, Gabriel fell back into her seat and frowned at him hey nobody puts their hands on her he looked at her and opened his mouth to say something but couldn’t because I stepped towards him, grabbed him by his collar and slammed him on the lunch table he looked shocked as I glared at him.

“Don’t fucking touch her” I said through clenched teeth he looked at me with big eyes and before glaring daggers at me and trying to pry my hands off I felt a hand on my shoulder.

“Ash come on let him go” Gabriel said softly I looked up at her she had her face frowned up.

“Yea Ash listen to her and let me go” Tyler said I turned to him to see him smirking at me I glared at him before loosening my grip on him his smirked grew wider, as I let go he swung at me punching me on my jaw making my head snap to the side.

“Tyler you idiot” Gabriel said angrily she look at me and I smirked shaking my head at her so she wouldn’t come closer.

“Ash calm down you already have detention” Sean said coming next to me my jaw was throbbing and I was angry I looked at Tyler to see him smirking at me that pissed me off.

“That’s for spying on my sister,” he said still smirking

“Sorry man” I mumbled to Sean before pushing him out the way and grabbing Tyler again the same way I did before I slammed him back onto the table.

“I let you go once and I’m not again,” I said before I pulled back my arm and punched him his head bounced off the table he looked at me with his eye half closed I pulled him to face.

“Next time you put your hands on me it’ll be worse than this” I said letting him go he fell back on the table and I backed away from him as his sister ran over to him.

“Oh by the way I’m a fucking girl you douche bag” I smirked watching as both him and his sister looked at me in shocked I grabbed my bag off the floor and turned to Gabriel.

“Ill be with Abigail” I said she nodded and I walked out the cafeteria ignoring the stares I got.

(Gabriel POV)

I watch Ash slam Tyler back into the lunch table and bunch him in his face I shook my head that idiot Ash let him go once he shouldn’t have punched her.

“Next time you put your hands on me it’ll me worse than this” She said before letting go of him he glared at her as his sister ran over to him by now the whole cafeteria was watching. Ash backed away smirking at him.

“Oh by the way I’m a fucking girl you douche bag” I almost laughed at Tyler and his sisters shocked face as Ash picked her bag and told me she was going to be at the nurse office I nodded as she walked away I’ll go check on her later.

I looked at Tyler and his sister as they watched Ash leave in shock I sighed I tried to warn him but he didn’t listen to me.

“Omg that was so hot” Jenna said with her mouth opened I rolled my eyes at her as Samantha Amber and Aly agreed sadly I agreed with them but I won’t say that out loud.

“ I didn’t know she could fight” Samantha said as Tyler stood up and his sister looked at him Sean and Aly nodded at them

“Yea she can fight alright her dad made her take lesson for years and she also had 4 brothers growing up” Aly explained to them Jenna looked at her with excitement.

“There are more people that look like her” She said excitedly I laughed

“Yes Jenna but they don’t look like her there more of a mix between her mother and father” I said she looked at me

“When did you meet the family” she said smirking I didn’t want to explain when I met them so I ignored her question and turned to Tyler who still looked confused and shocked.

“He’s a girl,” He said I nodded at him

“So he’s actually a she,” He asked again we groaned

“Yes Tyler Ash is a girl,” We all said in unison he looked at me then the door.

“I just hit a girl,” He mumbled

“No you just got your ass beat by a girl,” Alex said laughing Tyler frowned at him his eye was swollen red and turning purple he should have that looked at.

“I tried to help you but you had to punch her when she was going to leave you alone” I told him frowning at him.

“Why didn’t anybody tell me,” He asked we all shrugged

“We thought you knew” we all said he looked at us like we were crazy.

“How the hell was I supposed to know that he was actually a she have you seen the way she looks” He said throwing his hands up in the air his sister was still standing there watching the exchange

“See I wasn’t the only one who thought she was a boy” I mumbled to myself I knew it had to be a common mistake with her.

“Guys I’m going to” I said but Aly cut me off

“We know go check on your girl” Aly said winking they smirked at me as I blushed Tyler looked at me and his sister looked lost.

“Shut up” I mumbled I picked up my bags

“Wait a sec they go together” I heard Mia asked I turned to her

“No we don’t we’re friends why won’t anyone understand” I said they laughed as I turned back ready to leave

“They always disappear for hours doing lords knows what” Jenna said I could hear her grinning I groaned and started walking to the door

“Don’t forget to use protection” Jenna yelled as I was walking away from them I blushed as the students turned to me and quickly walked out the cafeteria hearing them laugh in the background when I see Jenna I’m going to kill her I went to the nurse office finding Ash sitting down on the bed holding an ice pack on her jaw. She looked at up at me and smiled taking the pack off her face.

“Hey Gabby” She said I frowned and walked over to her.

“Don’t hey Gabby me Ash after what happened” I said she stopped smiling and frowned at me

“What? it wasn’t my fault he started it,” She said I slapped her on her arm.

“Ouch” she mumbled rubbing her arm and frowning at me.

“Its your fault you provoked him by talking about his sister”

“I didn’t think he would take it seriously and he hit me first I defended myself” She explained I frowned at her.

“Just stay away from him ” I sighed and stepped between her legs I took the ice pack out of hand and put it back on her face she was going to have a huge bruise tomorrow if she didn’t keep the ice on her.

“I will,” She said grinning at me I frowned again

“Don’t grin at me I’m still mad at you” I said she smirked this time and put her hand over the hand I had on her cheek and leaned in I stop breathing as I felt her cool breath against my skin I thought she was going to kiss me but she passed it by an inch and kissed me on the corner of my mouth and leaned back I think I felt a little disappointed by this.

“I know but thanks for coming and seeing if I was ok,” she said grinning at me again I couldn’t hold back my smile.

I heard someone clear their throat I turned to see Abigail leaning on the door looking at us grinning.

“Sorry am I interrupting something” She asked I blushed as Ash frowned at her.

“No” I said quickly going to move away but Ash caught me by my waist I looked at her she was frowning at me.

“Where do you think you’re going” She asked I looked at her and frowned I didn’t know what to say because I didn’t know where I was going but I did know I didn’t like this position I blushed as Ash smirked at me and Abigail laugh lightly in the back.

“Ash I’m already mad please don’t push me further” I said under my breath she chuckled and let go of my waist, she removed her hand off mines and took the ice pack and held it herself I sat down on the bed next to her.

“Gabriel I thought you were supposed to keep her out of trouble” Abigail said still grinning at us.

“I tried she didn’t listen” I said

“I did listen Tyler hit me after I let him go” She said frowning Abigail rolled her eyes.

“Well you can go to your next class now and send the other boy in” She said I nodded and Ash looked at her like she was crazy I sighed and grabbed my bag.

“C’mon Ash” she groaned and got off the bed grabbing her bag and followed me out the door waving to Abigail.

“Now when you get in gym don’t say anything to Tyler do you understand” I scolded her she looked at me with her eyebrows raised I raised one eyebrow at her challenging her to argue with me she sighed.

“Yes Ma’am I will not talk to him I will be quiet the whole class” She said I nodded

“Now put the ice pack on your jaw,” I told her she groaned again and put it back on her face.

(Ash POV)

“I didn’t think he would take it seriously and he hit me first I defended myself” explained she frowned at me what I didn’t think he would how was I supposed to know what type of underwear she was wearing.

“Just stay away from him ” she said sighing as stepped between my legs she took the ice pack out of my hand and put it back on my face.

“I know,” I said grinning at her she frowned again

“Don’t grin at me I’m still mad at you” she said I smirked this time and put my hand over the hand she had on my cheek and leaned in. I stopped and stared at her was I going to kiss her no I wasn’t instead I leaned and kissed her on the corner of her mouth as much as I wanted to move over and kiss her on her lips.

“I know but thanks for coming and seeing if I was ok,” I said grinning as I leaned back to look at her she looked at me and smiled.

I heard someone clear their throat I looked up to see Abigail leaning on the door looking at us grinning.

“Sorry am I interrupting something” She asked Gabriel blushed and I frowned at her.

“No” Gabriel said quickly she was going to move away but I wrapped my arm around her waist she wasn’t going anywhere she looked and I frowned at her.

“Where do you think you’re going” I asked smirking as she frowned then blushed Abigail laughed I love it when she blushes.

“Ash I’m already mad please don’t push me further” she said under my breath I chuckled and let go of her waist, I let go of her hand and took the icepack

“Gabriel I thought you were supposed to keep her out of trouble” Abigail said still grinning at us.

“I tried she didn’t listen” she said wait a minute I looked at her

“I did listen Tyler hit me after I let him go” I frowned as Abigail rolled her eyes. If Tyler didn’t hit me I wouldn’t have done anything to him well not at that moment I would not have.

“Well you can go to your next class now and send the other boy in” Abigail said to us Gabriel nodded and I looked at her like I was going to tell him to come here Gabriel sighed and grabbed her bag.

“C’mon Ash” I groaned and got off the bed grabbed my bag and followed her out the door waving goodbye to Abigail who still looked amused.

“Now when you get in the gym don’t say anything to Tyler do you understand” she scolded me I looked at her with my eyebrows raised she cant tell me what to do she raised one eyebrow at me as If she was challenging me to argue with her I sighed.

“Yes Ma’am I will not talk to him I will be quiet the whole class” I replied she nodded

“Now put the ice pack on your jaw,” she told me I groaned again and did as I was told. I looked at her and she smiled her approval I rolled my eyes and hoisted my bag in my shoulders as we continued our walk to the gym.

“ Now remember what I told you” Gabriel said as we stopped in front of the gym.

“Yeah Yeah no talking to Tyler” I recited to her she nodded I wrapped my arm around her shoulder she looked at my arm than she looked at me.

“What you are my support system so I won’t say anything” I said she rolled her eyes and pushed my arm off her but I reached and grabbed her hand I grinned at her as she sighed. She pushed the door opened the class turned towards us I gave them a look and a they turned back around Gabriel and I walked to the teacher and handed him the note before going up the bleacher where Aly was sitting with Tyler who had a half shut swollen eye I grinned at my work. I felt Gabriel squeeze my hand I looked down at her and gave her a questioning stare.

“Stop admiring your work before you start something again,” She hissed at me I nodded Geesh women. We both sat down with Gabriel in the middle so I didn’t sit next to him like usual, I didn’t like that arrangement.

“Tyler the nurse said come down” Gabriel told him he nodded and look at me and I glared at him I’m surprised none of the teacher called us to the office yet.

“Ash,” Gabriel said squeezing my hand again and looking up at me as I continued to glare at him I looked down at her she was frowning at me I sighed and turned away.

“Sorry” I mumbled to her as Tyler stood up and left

“What am I going to do with you,” She muttered under her breath I grinned

“I can think of a few things,” I said waggling my eyes brows at her she blushed and frowned at me again before hitting me.

“I’m just trying to lighten up the mood women” I said Aly laughed

“You guys are fun to watch oh and Ash nice right hook” She said I grinned at her and Gabriel shook her head

“Thanks I’ve been practicing” I excitedly replied back she nodded

“You got to teach me sometime” she said happily as I nodded

“Hey stop you’re encouraging her” Gabriel said I laughed and wrapped my arm around her waist pulling her closer to me.

“I can teach you to along with some other things” I whispered the last part in her ear she blushed again as I smirked at her I love messing with her she was so cute when she blushed. She pushed me away from her and I laughed

“Ash please don’t do that when I’m here,” Aly said smirking at me I looked at her

“Do what” I asked laughing Aly rolled her eyes before she pulled out her phone to text, I looked down at Gabriel she was glaring at me with a red face I grinned at her.

“Ash stop doing that” She mumbled to me

“ Doing what exactly” She glared at me again

“You know that never mind” She huffed at me and folded her arms I grinned and poked her on her side.

(Gabriel POV)

I hate the way Ash makes me blush so easily she shouldn’t be able to do that even my old boyfriend from Florida couldn’t make me blush this much speaking of Florida I have to call my friend Macy I haven’t talked to her for weeks now I miss her. I glanced at Ash her right jaw was turning a light purple, red and yellow color it going to be worse tomorrow if she doesn’t keep the ice on it which I she isn’t by the way.

“Ash put the ice back on your face or your bruise is going to look nasty tomorrow,” I told her she looked at me and cut her eyes before doing it. The bell should be ringing soon since we missed half of the class already I zipped up by bag waiting for it to ring.

“Hey Gabby I know this is a bad time but do you” Ash started but the bell rung blocking out her whole sentence.

“Sorry I didn’t hear you over the bell what did you say” I asked she smiled

“Nothing I’ll ask you later” I nodded confused as she stood up with her bag waiting for me. She walked me to my next class quietly she seemed to be lost in her thoughts I searched her face no it looked like she was agreeing with her self she was frowning up her face.

“Ash you okay” I asked snapping her out of her thoughts she looked down at me and smiled.

“Yea I’m fine,” She said as we stop in front of my classroom I frowned at her something is up with her.

“I’m fine Gabby I promise, I’ll see you later” She said I nodded

“Make sure you keep the ice on your face ok” she grinned and nodded walking away I sighed and went into my class. I looked around as people walked in the teacher came in a little while later announcing the pop quiz I groaned along with the rest of the students well I’m going to fail this today I looked down at the quiz I had no clue what this was I filled in random answers and turned it in. I need to study I think I’m failing this class I suck at physics.

(Ash POV end of the day)

I’m mad at myself and that stupid bell I finally had the nerve to ask her to the dance but no the stupid bell wanted to ring when she asked again what I said I didn’t have the guts to ask her again I need to ask her again without looking like a fool hopefully everyone got the message not to ask her to the dance that should give me all the time I need to ask her.

“Ashy so I was wondering if you wanted to go to the dance with me this year” Cynthia asked walking next to me I groaned she was fluttering her eyes at me.

“No Cynthia it’s the same answer as every year” I said

“But Ash cant you go with me this year you never bring a date” She pouted I rolled my eyes.

“No Cynthia leave me alone” I said and walked away to my truck where everyone was standing including the Tyler I don’t feel like dealing with him but seeing as though there all standing by my truck.

I reached them with my eyebrows raised they all looked up at me.

“No offense guys but why are you by my truck” I asked walking in between them and unlocking the door and throwing my bag in the trunk.

“Nothing just talking” Sean said I looked at then as Gabriel came out the building pouting.

“What wrong with you” I asked meeting her halfway she looked at me pouting even more

“I failed my physics quiz today” She whined I laughed and she glared

“It’s not funny,” She said I put my arm around her shoulder and leaned over so I could see her face I grinned and stopped walking stopping her with me.

“I’ll help you with the physics” I said she looked at me suspiciously and nodded

“What’s in for you,” she asked eyeing me as my grin widen, I stood up straight.

“Well I was wondering if you would go with me to the Halloween dance” I said with as much confidence as I could muster but sadly it came out to quickly she looked at me not comprehending.

“Ash I didn’t understand” She said I took a breath in.

“I know you haven’t been asked to the dance and I was wondering would you go to the Halloween dance with me” I said running my hand through hair and I looking away to the side god I’m so pathetic.

(Gabriel POV)

I came out the school pouting I failed my quiz and now I’m on the verge of failing the class, I saw Ash and the others by her truck, how am I supposed to pull my grades up I cant even understand a word in the book I looked up and saw Ash coming towards me she met me halfway.

“What’s wrong with you” She asked I looked at her and pouted

“I failed my physics quiz today” I whined to her she laughed at me and I glared at her

“Its not funny” I said pouting again she out her arm around my shoulder and leaned over me so she could see my face and grinned at me and stopped walking in the process she stopped me with her.

“I’ll help you with physics” she said I looked at her suspiciously there has to be more to it than that.

“What in it for you” I asked eyeing her as she grinned even more.

“Well I was wondering if you would go with me to the Halloween dance,” She said quickly I didn’t catch any of it I looked at her not comprehending what she was saying.

“Ash I didn’t understand” I said she looked at me and took a deep breath before she started again.

“I know you haven’t been asked to the dance and I was wondering if you would go with me to the Halloween dance” she said as ran her hand through her hair looked away from me, she had a tinge of pink come to her cheeks I had to keep from laughing at her.

“Ash” I said she turned back to me waiting for my answer she look so nervous right now

“Yes I will go to the dance with you” I said grinning as she looked at me shocked before she gave me a big grin.

“Really” she asked like a little kid I nodded a laughed

“Yes Ash” I said still laughing at her I’ve never see her so nervous before it was kind of cute she grinned at me again as we started walking back to the others.

“Ash I’ve never seen you so nervous before” I said teasing her she turned to me.

“I wasn’t nervous,” She said frowning at me I laughed again

“Whatever you say Ash” I said rolling my eyes she wrapped her arm around my waist  pulling me closer to her and smirked at me before bending down to my level again I looked at her with my eyebrow raised.

“What are you doing Ash” I asked as she got closer to my face

“Nothing making you nervous” She said getting closer and closer to close if you ask me my stomach started to do flip flops as her face was only meters away from my face.

“Why would I be nervous,” I asked quietly as she inched closer.

“Because I make you nervous” She said smirking I could feel her cool mint breath against my lips as she talked I felt the urge to bring my head closer to her to close the unbearable gap but she did it for me only she stopped a centimeter away from me if one of us moved we would have surely touch she smirked again before moving and kissing me on the edge of my mouth I felt my face heat up as she leaned back and gave me a lopsided grin and winked before walking off leaving me standing there with a red face and a rapidly beating heart.

“Gabby you coming” Ash asked looking back at me grinning I frowned at her and caught up with her.

“Don’t do that again” I said she laughed and grabbed my hand

“What make you nervous” I glared at her as I felt my face turn red again.

“Shut up Ash” I said once we reached the other, they were all smirking at us except Tyler who was frowning oh god did they just see that.

“You guys I have to go but I’ll see you later” Ash said she turned to me and grinned again.

“Bye Gabby I’ll call you later” She said ruffling my hair winking and laughing as I blushed again she got into the car and drove off leaving me with the others the girls turned to me and gave me big toothy grins.

“Spill what happened back there” Aly said looking at me excitedly

“Nnnothing” I stuttered their grins widened

“We saw Gabriel we saw everything” Jenna squealed jumping up and down the boys groaned.

“This is the time we leave” Alex said Sean and the other nodded and walked off leaving me alone with them.

“Now that they are gone tell us what happened” Samantha said I looked at them and rolled my eyes.

“Nothing happened she just asked me to the dance” I said Jenna squealed again and the rest grinned.

“I hope you said yes” Amber said I nodded

“Of course I cant’ turn down my friend” I said they groaned I looked at them and they shook their heads.

“What” I asked

“Nothing so what was that thing that you guys were doing” Jenna asked I looked at her confused what thing.

“What thing” I asked they all smirked at me

“You know what she’s talking about the last part she kissed you” Samantha said giving me a knowing look

“Whoa hold up she did not kiss me ” I said quickly ok maybe it looked like but we were definitely no they looked at me confused I sighed.

“She didn’t kiss me she was I don’t know how to explain it but she only kissed me on the cheek besides why would she kiss me we are just friends nothing more and don’t forget I’m straight” I said they all looked at me like I was stupid I raised my eyebrow at them ok then.

“that still doesn’t explain why you were blushing” Amber said

“It was nothing t was just Ash being Ash trying to prove a point well then I have to go,” I said quickly running to my car so they wouldn’t jump to anymore conclusions I made my way home I started my homework, ate my dinner and took a shower before I went to my room and laid in the bed god today was a long day I pulled my phone out and texted Ash.

‘best friend mak sure u put ice on your bruise tonight before you go to bed’

‘Thanks Gabby I forgot r u actually going to bed tonight’

‘lol yes I am I’m actually n bed right now’

I smiled at the last message before getting under my sheets and going to bed.
