(Gabriel POV)

Its Friday and today I have a date with Ash yes I am a little nervous but I don’t know why I keep telling myself that it’s going to be like how we usually hang out, I still haven’t asked her where we are going or what I should wear because I don’t want to be to dressy or underdressed ugh this is to much thinking.

The class was getting pretty boring I had no clue what the teacher was talking about he had this boring monotone dry voice I sighed, I looked over at Ash who was sleeping as usual, I always wonder how she passes her class because when she isn’t sleeping she usually bugging me or in her own little world. I nudged her slightly she groaned.

“Yes Gabby” She said opening one eye at me

“Get up I’m bored” I whined to her she sighed and closed her eyes again going back to sleep.

“Ash please” I said quietly she opened her eyes at me

“So the only reason you’re waking me up is because you’re bored” She said I nodded and she rolled her eyes.

“If you haven’t noticed we are in class how can I possibly entertain you” She asked

“I don’t know, you’re supposed to know,” I mumbled pouting at her

“Well then I can think of a few things” She said smirking sitting up she moved her hands under the table and rested it on my thigh leg underneath my skirt I blushed and moved her hands away.

“Go back to sleep” I mumbled she chuckled

“That’s what I thought wake me up when class is finished,” She said going back to her original position before she closed her eyes. The day after the incident in her room I couldn’t stop think about I couldn’t even look at her with out my face turning red she found it funny but I didn’t. To make matters worse that night when I went home I had a dream about it, I was turning into a pervert, I don’t want to be a pervert, so I have come to a conclusion in order for me not to be a pervert I have to stop the intensities of our little make out sessions I don’t know how I’m going to do that but I will try. The bell rung taking me out my thought I shoved Ash who fell out her chair. I looked at her sprawled out on the floor holding her head mumbling something and glaring at me I laughed nervously before I stood up and held out my hand she swiped my hand away and stood up on her own grabbing her bags.

“Sorry Ash I didn’t think you would fall” I said she frowned at me

“That tends to happen when you shove someone, ” She said as we walked out the, I rolled my eyes at her and took hold of her hand she looked at with her eyebrows raised.

“What” I asked cheesing at her she gave me a soft smile.

“Nothing” she said giving my hand a light squeeze I smiled as we walked down the hallway hand to hand.

“Hey Ash where are we going tonight” I asked when we stop in front of my class.

“It’s a surprise” She said she leaned down and kissed me on my cheek before she walked off I frowned a surprise how am I supposed to know what to wear if it’s a surprise.

(Ash POV)

I yawned as I walked down the hallway not paying attention as I bump into someone whoever it was fell to the ground I groaned internally I keep bumping into people. I looked down it was a small pale girl with long brown curly hair and big light brown doe eyes she looked like a porcelain doll to me she looked so cute I wanted to pinch her cheeks.

“I’m sorry are you all right” I asked she didn’t say anything but I could see the water works about to start she started crying and I mean crying I didn’t know what to so I panic.

I bent down to her and checked to see if anything was broken or something I didn’t hit her that hard did I.

“Hey hey, hey stop crying I’m sorry” I said frantically she looked at me with tears still flowing she tried to stop herself but she started crying again.

“Look see your not hurt, it’s ok if it makes you feel better I’ll hurt myself see” I said getting up and banging my head into the locker I groaned that hurt I rub my head ok not smart I looked back at her she was still crying oh god what do I do I looked around the hallway no one was here to help me so I did the next best thing I grabbed her bag and hefted on my shoulder she started crying harder.

“Wait wait I’m not going to steal it” I said waving my hands from side to side god she’s like a little kid. I bent down and picked her up and ran to the nurse office, she started crying harder as I ran with her in my arms I swear if I was a cartoon you would see a sweat drop on my face. I opened the nurse office door.

“Abigail help me with her” I said frantically putting the girl on the bed as she continued to cry Abigail walked over to her.

“Annie please stop crying and tell me what’s wrongs” Abigail said sitting next to her the girl sniffled and pointed to me whispering something in Abigail’s ear me I didn’t do anything to her I don’t think I did.

“Ash was just trying to help” Abigail said Annie nodded at her whispering something else in her ear.

“Ash did you know you bump into her the other day” Abigail asked clearly amused as I looked at her with wide eyes

“I didn’t know it was her I was in a rush I’m sorry” I said quickly the Annie girl looked at me leaning against Abigail.

“See look she’s sorry ok” Abigail said Annie nodded looking down at her lap who was this girl.

“Well let me introduce you two Ash this is Annie my little cousin she just started Monday” Abigail said I nodded and smiled at the little girl she must be a freshman.

“So she’s a freshman,” I asked Abigail shook her head laughing I gave her a confused looked

“No she a senior like you” she said I looked at her with my Jaw on the floor what how the hell is she a senior she looked like she was ten.

“Yes she’s a senior Ash she just a little small” She explained I looked at Annie again a little small she’s beyond small.

“Wow” I mumbled to myself.

“So since you two met I’m leaving you responsible of her until her brother comes” She said I looked at her with my eyebrow raised.

“She’s very shy as you can see and she’s small”

“Okay then I’ll take care of her,” I said grinning at the girl she looked up at me with her flushed cheeks.

“Annie are you fine with this” Abigail asked her

“Yes” She said quietly you could barely hear her as she spoke.

“Well since that’s settle both of you can go to class” Abigail said I looked at her and groaned

“But I was on my way here to take a nap” I said complaining she rolled her head and pointed to my bed I grinned and went over there pulling the curtains around the bed.

“Wake me up when the bell rings,” I said before I let my head hit the pillow and fall asleep

I didn’t stay asleep for long because I felt my bed dip in and someone climb under the covers with me I turned to see the small form of Annie.

“Annie what are you doing” I asked her confused she looked at me with her big brown eyes.

“Abby said to stay with you until she gets back” She spoke quietly tilting her head to the side I nodded and settled back down I closed my eyes I could feel her staring at me I groaned inside my head and opened my eyes again she was staring at me.

“Annie do you want to take a nap” I asked slowly she didn’t say anything but closed her eyes and buried her head into the pillow curling up beside me I sighed I guess that’s a yes she really does remind me off a little kid, I closed my eyes again and drifted off into a deep slumber.

45 minutes later

“Ash I told you to watch over her not sleep with her” I heard Abigail say what the hell is she talking about

“What Abigail I’m not sleeping with her look we have clothes on” I mumbled sitting up lifting the sheets up rubbing my eyes Annie was still next to me curled into a little ball sleeping I looked at Abigail who was laughing slightly

“I know I meant sleeping sleeping the girl doesn’t like to be woken up good luck waking her up” She said walking around the curtain I looked at Annie cant be that hard look at her she’s so small.

“Annie wake up its time for class” I said shaking her shoulders a little she didn’t move I groaned come on I want to walk Gabriel to lunch I shook her again not getting a response I sighed before going into my bag and pulling out a cherry lollipop I guess if she looks like a kid she’ll act like one.

“Annie I have a cherry lollipop” I said chuckling as I watched her sit up yawning and stretching like a cat she rubbed her eyes and took the lollipop.

“Come on let’s go I can introduce you to some of my friends” I said she didn’t say anything but put her shoes on slowly before she stood up and we walked back to Abigail she looked at me surprised I shrugged pointing to the lollipop she was sucking on, I guess I should carry them around with me.

“Candy always work” I said grabbing my bag.

“Let’s go Annie” I said she didn’t say anything but walk out the door with me the bell rung as we got close to Gabriel class a crowd of students poured out of the class I glanced down at Annie who was shrinking against me she grabbed onto my sleeve as we stopped in front of her class where Gabriel just came out of.

“Gabriel over here” I said she turned to me smiling.

“Hey off to lunch we go” She said happily I laughed and nodded I felt a hand scrunch up behind my back I sighed.

“Gabby this is Annie” I said Gabriel looked at me confused before I moved out the way where Annie was hiding behind she looked down at the ground before hiding halfway behind me again.

“Annie come on she’s harmless” I said moving her in front of me Gabriel looked at me with her eyebrow raised I shrugged at her.

“Annie this is Gabriel” I said with my hand on her shoulder she mumbled a little hello before she went back behind me I sighed again this is going to be a long day.

“Lunch” I said grabbing Gabriel’s hand as we walked down the hallway with Annie close to me holding on to my sleeve again I hope her brother isn’t like this. We arrived at the cafeteria Annie had her own lunch but she didn’t want to sit down without me so I had to bring her to the line with Gabriel and I. I paid for our lunch and went back to the table they made room for Annie so now I’m not sitting next to Tyler Annie is.

“Guys this is Annie” I said gesturing to Annie who was taking small bites out of her sandwhich the girls looked at her with excitement.

“Awe she’s so cute” Jenna squealed looking at her the other girls agreed.

“Yes I just want to hug her and squeeze her,” Samantha said Annie didn’t say anything as usual she just sat there with her pink cheeks eating her food timidly while the girls fussed over who would get her first.

“Any way that’s Samantha, Jenna, Amber, Aly, Matt, Sean, Tyler and Alex, stay away from that one” I said to her she nodded her head while Alex complained.

“That’s not fair, don’t listen to her Annie I wont do anything to you that you wont like” Alex said winking at her she looked at him petrified I looked at her as the tears started to gather oh man not again I glared at Alex.

“Alex shut up you idiot” I said throwing a piece of bread at him he looked at her as the tears started to spill.

“Annie he was just playing ok please don’t cry” I said to her in a panic she bit her lip trying to stop crying but I could see her lip quivering oh god I banged my head on the table as my friends looked at us weird.

“Gabby you have a sister help me with this please” I asked her Gabriel was looking at Annie as she cried.

“I don’t know my sister never really cried much” She said I sighed and looked at Alex glaring at him

“Say you’re sorry” I said to him he frowned and Aly slapped him.

“Fine I’m Sorry” He mumbled I turned to Annie and smiled

“See he said he was sorry so please stop crying” I said softly she looked at me I lowered my head.

“ he didn’t mean it” she said quietly in my ear I looked at Alex

“Alex you meant it didn’t you” I asked glaring at him he better say yes I can’t deal with this all day.

“Yes yes of course” He said quickly

“What about now” she nodded her head before she wiped her tears away I sighed in relief cant wait till her brother comes to get her.

“So Annie you’re a freshmen right” Amber asked her she shook her head no I guess I’ll answer for her.

“Nope she’s a senior she also Abigail’s little cousin” I said they looked at her in shock yup same reactions.

“But”

“I know she’s small I thought the same thing” I said they nodded and started asking her a bunch of question I felt her scoot closer to me as they all talked to her at once I rolled my eyes at them and turned to Gabriel.

“So is it hot in here or is it just you” I said trying to make conversation she rolled her eyes.

“Ash please don’t say that again and what should I wear tonight” She asked I smirked

“Doesn’t matter you can come naked which I wouldn’t mind one bit” I said she pinched me on my leg ouch.

“ Seriously Ash I need to know” She said frowning at me

“Fine something comfortable jeans or shorts anything is fine casual I guess”

“Can you please tell me where we are going” She whined at me I smirked at her

“No I told you you’ll find out when we get there” I said she pouted at me

“What about a hint”

“ It’s a place” I said laughing as she frowned at me I grabbed her hand from underneath the table as she moved it probably going to smack me.

“That’s not a hint” she said playing with my hand I grinned

“Yes it was I’m not going to tell you wait until tonight” she pouted again frowning at me.

“Awe cheer up Gabby I promise you that you’ll have fun tonight ok” I said she turned to me with her lips puckered up dragging my attention to them.

“Fine then” she mumbled I laughed leaning down to her she moved back a little

“Ash what the hell are you doing,” She asked scooting further back

“Well since you’re tempting me with those lips of your” I said quietly she blushed moving over again only to fall off the side I started laughing.

I moved away from Annie and looked down at the floor where Gabriel was red

“That’s for earlier today” I said she glared at me not moving as everyone looked over at us.

“Gabriel what are you doing” Amber asked confused I laughed harder as she looked at me she stood up with her, turned away from me and began to walk away. I sobered up before I stood up she was halfway across the cafeteria heading to the doors.

“Hey watch her Samantha,” I said pointing to Annie who was looking like a lost puppy she had tears forming in her eyes.

“Hey I’ll be right back ok you can trust Samantha I’ll be like five minutes” I said reassuring her she nodded I smiled before I took off after Gabriel who had just reached the door.

“Gabby” I said she ignored me and walked out the door I pulled the door open and caught up with her I pushed her against the lockers grinning at her red face.

“Why are you always pushing me against stuff” She asked frowning

“I don’t know it’s convenient” I said grinning at her as she rolled her eyes

“What do you want’” She asked

“Well just wanted to know if you were ok you just left without saying anything”

“I wonder why” She glared at me

“Sorry didn’t think you would fall hard,” I said looking her over

“Whatever my butt hurts,” She mumbled I laughed

“It’s not funny and I have to go to the bathroom that’s why I left” She said I nodded putting my hands on her waist.

“To check you bum,” I said pulling her to me she pushed back slightly and looked at me.

“No to go to the bathroom,” I grinned

“I think you’re going to check you’re bum” I said putting my hands on her butt holding her in place.

“Ash get you’re hands off my ass” She hissed at me I laughed and kissed her lightly on her lips.

“I think you like it” I said kissing her again and squeezing her butt she jumped and I grinned at her as her face turned red I think she’s angry, I ran back to the cafeteria laughing to myself when I went back in I was immediately attacked by Annie who looked like she was about to drown in her tears.

“Guys what did you do to her” I asked annoyed

“I don’t know after you left she was fine but then she started to freak out” Amber said

“I tried to figure out what happen but she wouldn’t talk to me” Samantha said I looked at Annie who face was buried in my sweater she had her arms wrapped around me like she was hugging me.

“Annie what happen” I asked walking her away from them she mumbled something into my sweater.

“What” I pulled her face away and got down to her level

“Alex touched me” She said really quietly I looked behind her at Alex

“Where” She pointed to her leg and foot

“With his hand” I asked frowning she shook her head

“His foot” She said looking at me with tears running god this girl cry’s way to much I nodded and we went back over to the table I went up to Alex and dragged him out the cafeteria with him protesting behind me I went around the corner.

“Let go of me” He whined I threw him on the floor he grumbled and looked at me frowning

“What did I do now”

“Leave Annie alone Alex don’t touch her don’t do anything with her find someone else to mess with hell I’ll even set you up with someone if you want me to just don’t bother her she’s like a little kid so leave her alone before you’re charged with sexual harassment” I said he frowned

“Fine I’ll leave her alone it isn’t fair though because I can’t mess with any of the new girls ” He said I frowned knowing he was talking about Gabriel also

“I mean it Alex go mess with someone else she’s off limits along with Gabby ”

“Yea, Yea, I know you told me before plus Annie’s not my type anyway to innocent and small if you know what I mean” He said nudging me I rolled my eyes he such a douche sometimes.

“Whatever just leave her alone” I said we walked back to the cafeteria with him grumbling behind me when we got back In Gabriel was already sitting down.

“Sorry Annie it wont happen again” Alex said Annie looked at him before giving him a small nod.

“So you finish rubbing you’re butt or do you need me to help again” I asked Gabriel quietly in her ear grinning as she turned to me quickly blushing and frowning.

“I told you I went to the bathroom and back up,” She muttered glancing at my lips.

“Tempting I know but you’ll get some later” I said smirking her face heated up more and she looked away from me.

“What the hell are you guys talking about over there the girl looks like a tomato” Samantha said who was sitting across from us smirking at us I chuckled when I looked at Gabriel, her ears were also turning red she’s way to easy to tease like this.

“Nothing just some addiction she has” I stated shrugging as Gabriel looked at me.

“It’s not a addiction ” She mumbled her face was still red as she frowned I raised an eyebrow.

“Really now, so, you don’t want anymore of it, seems like you were enjoying it a little to much the other night” I said winking at her, her face went beet red again I laughed as Samantha wasn’t following along with it.

“Don’t worry about it, it’s an inside joke you had to be there to get it” I explained to her as Gabriel elbowed me I grabbed her hands and intertwined mines with hers grinning at her as the bell rung we both stood up along with Annie who was glued to my sleeve. We first walked Annie to her class before we headed to the gym.

“She seems like a nice person ” Gabriel said leaning against me as we walked

“Yea she’s a little shy that’s the girl I ran into the other day I made a mistake and ran into her again today and she started crying I paniced and carried her to Abigail’s where she assigned me to watch her till her brother comes”

“That’s why she’s so clingy to you” She asked frowning slightly I smiled

“Yes I guess you jealous” I asked grinning as she turned pink

“No of course not why would I be jealous of her” She said I laughed and let go of her hand and put my arm around her shoulder pulling her closer to my side.

“I’ll take that as a yes, but don’t worry she’s not the kind I go after” I said she was looking up at me with her pinks cheeks I brought my lips to hers giving her a simple kiss.

(Gabriel POV)

The girl Annie, yes she is adorable with her Porcelain like feature and her big light brown eyes, yes she totally pinch able but that doesn’t mean I like her that much she’s to clingy like a little kid who scared of everything right now me and Ash are walking her to the nurse office to drop her off before we head home she as usual was clingy on to Ash shirt whispering something to her, the girl doesn’t talk much I only ever see her talking to Ash and of course Ash replies back grinning like and idiot I rolled my eyes at them as we walked into the nurse office.

“Ash I see you’re back good” She said taking Annie’s bag from Ash apparently it was to heavy for her and her back was hurting of course I had scoffed at that.

“Yup I have her back in one piece” she said putting her hand on her shoulder grinning down at her.

“I see you brought Gabriel along too” Abigail said ii said hi and smiled

“Yea we have somewhere to go right Gabby” She smirked at me I frowned Im mad at her right now.

“Oh you two have a date” Abigail said smiling at the two of us I blushed as Ash laughed a little.

“Something like that well we have to go I’ll see you later Abigail and I’ll see you Monday Annie” She said smiling at the girl who smiled shyly and nodded her head she ran up to Ash and gave her a little hug Ash laughed and hugged her back.

“I see she’s taken a liking to you” Abigail said when Annie went back to her side Ash shrugged

“Yea I guess well see you later guys come on Gabby” She grabbed my hand and we walked out the nurse office to the parking lot.

“Ash what time are you picking me up” I asked once we reached my car she looked at her watch.

“Six sounds good to you” She asked I nodded my head.

“Yes I still want to know where we are going how am I supposed to know what to wear” I asked frowning she sighed.

“Gabby just wear something casual like what you wear to the mall or something I told it doesn’t matter” She said rolling her eyes smirking at me I frowned again that doesn’t really help I could wear anything to the mall.

“That doesn’t help,” She groaned and opened the door to my car I sat down in the drivers seat as she leaned down to my level on the door.

“Gabby it doesn’t matter what you wear just wear something comfortable if I think its not going to be right for tonight then I’ll tell you to change” She said I frowned at the last part change my outfit.

“I wouldn’t have to worry about changing if you tell me where were going” I said smirking she mumbled something under her breath before she gave me a quick kiss, closed my door and walked off leaving me grumbling.

I reached home and immediately went up stairs it was 4 oclock I have to find something to wear take a shower do my hair and make-up.

I went straight in the shower shedding my clothes once I was finished I wrapped the towel around me and went back in my room rummaging through my closet for something to wear its supposed to get a little chilly tonight so I’m going to wear my jeans I pulled out some skinny jeans and grabbed the first shirt I felt I looked at it eww but I guess its cute I think it was like a peach or pink color shirt that had a little material design on that I like to call the curtain ripples or whatever its called I found my Jean jacket and my matching flats. I went over to my dresser and took out my underwear and bra I put them on before I went to the bathroom to curl my hair in loose curls.

1 hour later (A/N out fits on the side..)

Ok so it took me longer than I expected to curl my hair I kept burning myself with the stupid thing and I had to keep redoing pieces over or flattening them again because it was too curly when I finally finished it was already five thirty I still had to get dressed, I couldn’t go in my underwear, I went back to my room and put on my clothes before I sat down in front of my vanity and started applying a little bit of make up and I mean a little bit I hate putting on a lot of make up it feels nasty so I usually only put on eyeliner and lip gloss I might even put eye shadow on some occasions, I applied some eyeliner before I put on some mascara when I was finished I put some clear lip gloss on I checked myself in the mirror and smile yes I look decent. I grabbed some accessories before I took a good look at myself yes now I am complete with one minute to spare the doorbell rung I grabbed my purse and ran downstairs to answer it only to see my father answering the door Oh Shit.

(Ash POV)

I arrived at Gabriel house exactly at six it didn’t take me long to get ready I only had on grey v neck shirt with a orange blue and white varsity jacket and some light blue low rise semi skinny jeans on with matching blue vans. I got out the car and rung the doorbell I wanted to buy her some flowers but I realized how stupid I would look if I did that. The door opened revealing a man with blonde hair with glasses on in khaki pants and a sweater oh this must be her father I can see where she got her beautiful eyes from I cleared my throat and began speaking.

“Hello Sir how are you I’m Ash” I said politely holding my hand out shaking his he was frowning at me I hope I’m not messing this up, always make good first impressions.

“I’m good may I help” He asked looking me over frowning at me

“Yes I’m here to pick Gabriel up for tonight” I said he nodded and let me in where I saw Gabriel looking as pretty as ever with a pale horror stricken face.

“Hey Gabriel” I said scratching my head aware that her father was still standing there.

“Hey Ash dad this is Ash a friend from school Ash this is my father even though you just met him” She said coming up to me with her purse in hand.

“Come in the living room son I want to have a talk with you” He said looking at me sternly I nodded my head as he walked into the living room Gabriel looked at me with a panic expression geesh I’m not going to mess it up I’ve been through this already.

“Chill out Gabby I got this, anything that you don’t want me to tell him” I said quietly

“That’s you’re a girl you tell him anything else, even that it’s a date” she said quietly I  nodded that much was obvious I wouldn’t tell him thing he didn’t need to know or that Gabriel didn’t want him to know yet I went into the living room and sat down.

“Is this a date you’re taking her on” He asked

“Yes sir” I said sitting up straight looking him in the eye.

“What are you’re intentions towards her” He asked oh that’s an easy questions

“Well sir you’re daughter is a wonderful person I love the way she is care free, I love her sweet tooth and her love for strawberries on anything that is edible, I love the way she gets embarrassed easily and how I drown in her mesmerizing emerald eyes” I said starting to get off track I paused looking him in the eyes “ to tell you the truth I really like your daughter and I would love to date her if you allow me to and if she accepts me, I promise I will not take advantage of her or do anything to her that she does not want me to do or that she is not willing to do and I will come to you to ask you for you’re permission to do anything that I feel as though you need to know” I said finishing he looked me straight in the eyes.

“What do you plan on doing after school”

“I didn’t really plan that part yet I have recruiters trying to pick me up for college basketball but I also plan to take over my father business after awhile so I will probably go into business studies”

“So you keep you’re grades up and everything you can’t rely on sports” He said I know this.

“Yes sir I know that’s why I have a GPA of 4.0 you never know what might happen so that’s my back up plan” I said he nodded giving me a small smile

“do you drink” He asked

“Yes I do only when I don’t have to drive or when I’m with her I have to keep an eye on her sometimes and I never drink to the point where I cant focus one cup is all I drink and I always give her juice no matter how much she complains about it” I said answering him truthfully

“Where do you plan on going tonight”

“I planned to take her to the fair tonight sir” I said he nodded

“How are you getting there” He asked

“By car sir I have been driving for 3 years I have not had anything tickets or accidents at all” I said he nodded again I think I’m doing good.

“What time do you plan on bringing her back”

“Um I think around 12:00 or 12:30 if that’s fine with you sir” I asked he looked at me contemplating

“12:50 on the dot no later than that” He said standing up I stood up to as he continued to talk.

“If you hurt or I will come after you son,” He said giving me a pat my back I nodded at him as we walked out where Gabriel was pacing back and forth.

“Gabby are you ready” I asked walking up to her she stop and looked at her dad then me and sighed.

“Yea I’m ready” She picked up her purse but I stopped her.

“Don’t take that you don’t need it just take you’re phone and I.D’ I said she nodded taking her phone and I.D out and putting them in her pocket.

Her father walked us to the door.

“Bye daddy” Gabriel said hugging him and kissing him on the cheeks he smiled at her and did the same.

“It was nice meeting you sir,” I said shaking his hand

“Same here and call me Paul please” he paused as I nodded “Remember what I said and 12:50” He said

“Yes sir I’m mean Paul” I said correcting myself when he gave me a look I smiled at him before me and Gabriel got in the car.

“Ash I’m sorry about that’s he’s always like that” She said apolegtically I laughed driving off to the fair grounds.

“Its fine all he did was ask me questions” I said she nodded

“Questions like what” she asked

“Basic questions that every father ask” I said laughing as she looked at me with horror.

“Oh god did he ask you what are your intentions towards me” She asked

“Yea that and some other stuff”

“God he’s so embarrassing what did you say” She asked I shrugged

“The truth” I stated she sighed and sat back in her seat

“What else did he ask” she said quietly

“Do I drink I also said yes to that but I told him I only drink one cup and If I drink more I don’t drive and that I always give you juice”

“What you told him that I’m surprised he let you take me anywhere” she said shocked I laughed

“Its because I told him the truth Gabby I don’t lie to people, when they ask me questions I will answer it truthfully” I said to her pulling onto a dirt road it was already dark out we past through a few trees before I saw the light at the end of the road as we grew closer to it I could make out a Ferris wheel and other rides. We reached the end and Gabriel was grinning at me.

“The fair Ash why didn’t you tell me” She said excitedly as I parked the car I laughed and got out with her I grabbed her hand and we walked to the admission booth I paid for our wrist bands before we went and got the all day ride pass.

“So what do you want to do first” I asked watching her expression light up as she looked around and pointed to the food stands I laughed and shook my head.

“So I really brought you here for food” I asked

“No I want to get on the rides to but I’m also hungry” she said grinning at me

“How about we get on two rides then we get food” I said she sighed but said ok

“Then I want to go on the slide one” She pulling towards the super slide I rolled my eyes.

“Gabby that’s so not a ride” I said

“Yes it is see we have to show him our wrist bands” She said childishly I groaned as the guy gave of the potato sack we walked all the way to the top of the stairs.

“I get to pick the next ride Gabby”

“Only if you win Ash” She laughed and jump on her sack riding down the slide

“That’s cheating I said following right behind her of course I couldn’t catch up with her.

“I win now lets go on that one,” She said pointing to some little kids ride again I sighed and went with her.

(Gabriel POV)

I cant believe she brought me to the fair I haven’t been to a fair since I was little, I wanted to go on all the rides I used to go on when I was younger which why we are on the merry go round right now I’m on the horse while Ash is standing next to me laughing at me she hasn’t complained yet about me going on all the little kids rides, to tell you the truth I don’t really like getting on the bigger rides they freak me out honestly.

“Gabby lets go grab something to eat then I can choose a ride” She said smiling at me I have to say this one of my best dates I ever been on we’re so relaxed around each other maybe because we’re friends and we have nothing to hide but still I like it we walked hand in hand still we found a stand.

“Gabby what you want” Ash asked I looked at the menu I guess I’ll get a hot dog

“Hot dog and lemonade” I said she nodded and order while I wondered off to look at the ride behind us It was a spinning ride that looked like a UFO I want to go in there and check it out.

“Hey you here by yourself” I turned to the voice it was some guy about my age with dark brown hair and black eyes he was ok looking.

“Yea I’m here with someone

“Well since you’re guys not around want to hang out” He asked looking at me like a piece of meat I grimaced in disgust.

“Actually I’m right here, I would appreciate it if you don’t hit on my date when she clearly doesn’t want you” I heard Ash say from behind him coming over to me she gave me my hot dog and drink.

“Sorry man” The guy mumbled and walked off Ash turned to me.

“What did I tell you about walking off” She said scolding me like a little kid I frowned and bit into my hotdog while she guide me to a little table off to the side.

“Can we get on that one next” I asked pointing to the one I was looking at she looked behind me and nodded.

“Yes finally a ride suitable for our age” She said smirking at me I blushed the slide wasn’t a little kids ride and neither was the train ride.

“Shut up” I said sipping my drink

“You sure you want to get on after you just ate” She asked me I nodded

“Cant be that bad”

“Ok Gabby if you say so” She said balling up her trash and shooting it into the nearest trash can making it I rolled my eyes

“Show off”

“Have to impress the lady’s somehow Gabby,” She said laughing at me as I attempted to do the same thing key word is attempted I failed miserably and watch Ash stand up and place it in the trash.

“I need to teach you some skills” She said we both left the table and stood in line for the ride.

“hey you sure you want to get on this Gabby” Ash asked from behind me wrapping her arms around I leaned back her as she put her chin on my shoulder.

“Yea it doesn’t look bad” She nodded against me.

“Ok but we just ate” She pointed out oh yea we did just eat.

“I don’t think I have a weak stomach” I mumbled to myself I guess she heard me because she chuckled in my ear.

“I guess we’re about find then” she said we got the front and showed him our tickets he let us I felt Ash and in mines as we walked over to the back wall and stood against it like everyone else.

“ what exactly happens in this ride” I asked she laughed

“Now you ask once we’re in” I nodded at her she began to explain

“First it starts off slow then its get faster so you won’t be able to get off the wall once you’re on it its actually if you move at the right time you can be upside down or side ways on the wall”

“Can you help me then” I asked I wanted to hang sideways

“Um I don’t think that’s possible but I’ll try” she said grinning at me I grinned back as the ride started to spin I was going that fast until I felt Ash lift me up a little.

“Turn Gabby before its starts going faster” She said I guess I was to slow because I felt Ash crush me we looked at each other and started laughing like idiots, I could tell she was stuck against me until the ride stop or slowed down but we didn’t know how long that would be so to not get bored I kissed she kissed me back but she couldn’t move her arms and neither could I. Before she could deepen it I pulled back grinning at her she frowned.

“You always pull back, when things are getting good,” She said

“Yup because I think the ride is slowing down,” I said she moved her now free arm and grabbed my hand as the ride was coming to and end.

“Where to next” She asked as we walked out the ride

“Ooh I always wanted to go to the hall of Mirrors then the funhouse” I said pointing to the place next eaach other she nodded.

“Gabby if we get lost in the mirrors don’t blame me” She said I giggled slightly I could see us getting lost in there like the idiots we are.

“I’m going to blame you because you agreed to go” I said laughing walking up to the halls of mirrors the lady lets through the door it was pretty dark in here once we entered I saw a million images of Ash and I and of course Ash was looking at herself in one of the mirrors.

“Ash we are supposed to be going through the maze not checking yourself out” I said rolling my eyes at her she frowned and turned to me.

“I wasn’t checking myself out now lead the way m’lady” She said gesturing me forward she took my hand as we began to walk no sooner did I take a step I crashed into a mirror I heard Ash laughing at me while I groaned.

“Ash why didn’t tell me it was there” I asked her rubbing my nose frowning

“how was I supposed to know I’m following you” she said  I glared at her

“I don’t want to do this anymore” I mumbled she chuckled and smirked at me.

“Fine I’ll lead the way” she said holding her hand out so we wouldn’t crash into anything I’m never coming in here again I swear everywhere we went was a dead end or just reflections of another pathway I stop walking and pouted.

“Ash we’re never going get out of here,” I whined she shook her head.

“It was you’re idea in the first place”

“Well you didn’t have to agree” I argued back she leaned down to me

“Seeing as it’s a date I want to do everything you want to do so of course I agreed dummy” She said she kissed me I of course kissed her back licking her lips for entrance she opened her mouth and her tongue battle with mines as she pushed me lightly against one of the mirrors. I broke the kiss smiling at her as she rested her forehead on mine.

“Now lets find our way out” she said smiling at me she gave me one last kiss before she pulled me off the mirror I took her hand as she guided us through the mirror.

“Look Ash a light” I said running towards the exit ignoring her yells for me to slow down and not to run I ignored her like a dummy and I ran into another mirror this time I fell flat on my butt.

“Gabby I told you not to run over there the exit right there” She said pointing to the door across from me I groaned as she lifted me up.

“You okay, your father will kill me if I don’t have you back in one piece” She said taking my hand again as I pouted and followed her right behind her by butt hurts and my nose hurts now.

We made It outside I sighed in relief.

“You know what how about we not go in the funhouse” She said I nodded my head agreeing with her if the fun house was anything like the mirrors I didn’t want to go in to make a bigger fool out myself we walked around looking at the game until I found a huge stuff animal that I wanted I pulled Ash to a stop.

“Ash I want that” I said pointing to the big husky stuffed animal if I cant have the real thing I want that one.

“I don’t know Gabby” she said looking at it I gave my puppy eyes she stared at me for a good minute before she let out a breath and rummaged through her pockets for pulling out her wallet she took the cash out and handed it to him.

“Ash you can do it this is you’re sport” I said happily she rolled her eyes

“How many do I have to do for that” She asked the guy he looked to the stuff animal

“Um 2 rounds perfect shots no misses” He said she nodded and gave him some more money.

“I guess I’ll do the two rounds them” She said he took out 12 basketballs and told her to back up to the line, she groaned and did as she was told she bounced the ball twice before she shot it, it went straight in I squealed with delight. She turned to me giving me a look that said shut up I closed my mouth as he passed her the other balls she took the shot and made it just like the first, things seemed to repeat its self for the next 10 balls the guy looked at her surprised before asking her which one she one she pointed to the oversized stuffed dog in the back it was a cute husky dog. I clapped my hands in excitement as he handed it to her she gave it to me a wrapped my arms around the neck of it the thing was huge I think it was bigger than me and it was heavy I frowned at it, for it to be so cute it sure is heavy I looked at the ground the tail was dragging I don’t want a dirty tail.

“Ash can you carry it for me please” I asked sweetly batting my eyes at her she grumbled before she took it from me taking my hand and took me over to a line.

“Where are we going Ash” I asked she didn’t say anything but look at her watch walking faster until we reached a long line we walked to the front of the line cutting in front of everyone who was glaring at us I shrunk into Ash as we stopped in front of a guy.

“Hey Ash you can go in” He said Ash grinned at him knocking her fist with his before he opened the door to the cart we both climbed in. Ash sat my dog across from us as we began to move.

“Ash we cant just cut the line like that we could have waited”

“No we couldn’t then we would have missed it” She said grinning at me she pulled my on top of her lap and told me to look out the window, as the Ferris stop leaving us at the top I could see the whole city and all the lights from up here it was beautiful. All of the lights around the fair went out I looked at Ash in surprise who was grinning out the window I hope there wasn’t a power shortage oh god I don’t want to be stuck up here forever.

“Gabby calm down and look” She said quietly against my ear I looked to where she was pointing just as I saw a whiz of light rocket into the sky creating multi colors I smiled brightly as I watch the fireworks go off.

(Ash POV)

I watched Gabriel’s face light up when the fireworks went off all around us this is always the best part of the fair the midnight fireworks I loved watching them from up here I usually get to stay up here until its over and tonight we are staying up here till its over I asked already if I could and they happily stated that I could, yes it did cost me some money but I don’t mind spending money on her. I was still gazing at her as the fireworks reflected in her emerald eyes she was so excited like a little kid who has never seen fireworks before.

“I guess you like it then” I asked grinning at her as she turned her head towards me smiling.

“I love it Ash it’s amazing,” She said with her eyes twinkling at me I smirked.

“Good I didn’t know if you would like it or not” I said truthfully she shook her head.

“Nope I haven’t seen fireworks since I was a kid” She said leaning herself against me.

“Didn’t you used to see them on like new years or 4th of July” I asked everybody has seen them.

“No we stopped going after I was like 6 or 7, that’s when my parents started travelling for work” She said sadly looking out at the fireworks

“So you haven’t seen them on new years”

“No I want to go to New York one day and watch it there I always wanted to see the ball drop in time square” She said with excitement I laughed at her and nodded I’ll take her there one day. We sat in silence watching the fireworks well she sat and watched them I sat and watched her with happiness flowing through me, I look dumb gazing at her but she holds my heart and she doesn’t even now it to that extent, I sighed to myself the night was almost over and I have to get her back before twelve fifty I glanced at my watch the fireworks should be coming to an end soon.

“Gabby its almost over” I said she shifted on my lap to look up at me and pouted.

“Awe I wanted to see some more” She mumbled I chuckled to myself.

“There’s always next time” I told her she was still pouting as she rested her head on me again.

“Ash can we get some cotton candy” She asked randomly

“Yeah once we get off of here then we have to take you back your dad wants you back by twelve thirty” I said she nodded her head against me before she sat up.

“You know that doesn’t seem fair because my curfew is one”

“Well you’re father said twelve fifty and that’s when you’ll be home,” I said she frowned and smirked before I kissed her lightly.

“Stop frowning you’re going to get wrinkles,” I said pulling back laughing when she frowned again at me.

“Ash hush,” She said I look at her amused as she stared at me grinning slightly the Ferris wheel started moving.

“Ash you made me miss the finale” She said looking out the window in disappointment I laughed before smirking at her as we stop again.

“I can give you one”

“Really how” She asked coyly looking at my lips smiling at them I smirked at her

“Let me show you” I said has she met me half way I captured her lips against mines moving slowly for awhile before I pulled at her lower lip I felt her smile before she opened up letting me in she playful shoved my tongue out the way as her arms wrapped around my neck and mines around her waist I felt the ride jostle forward again signaling that we were moving again. I stopped kissing her when I saw that we were the next to get  off.

“Ash why you stop” She whined out breathing heavy I laughed as the guy opened our door she looked at him and blushed.

“That’s why, come on so we can get you cotton candy” I said she nodded with a red face and got off my lap I picked up the stupid oversized stuff animal that she insisted on getting and got out of the cart after her. She took hold of my hand swinging it back and forth as we walked to the cotton candy stand I rolled my eyes at her.

“What color” She pointed to the pink I paid for hers before started walking again with her shoving pieces of cotton candy in her mouth.

“We have a few more minutes before we have to go you want to get anything else or do anything else” I asked her she looked around thinking.

“Ice cream Ash we completely forgot about the ice cream” She said  I laughed and looked at her putting pieces of cotton candy in her mouth.

“Really Gabby you’re eating cotton candy if we get the ice cream you have to put up the cotton candy” I said she frowned and looked at her candy then the ice cream stand next to us contemplating which one to choose I watched her amused as she fought with herself internally.

“I guess I’ll eat my candy then” She mumbled I laughed at her grabbing a piece of cotton candy out of her hand eating it, I couldn’t tell what flavor it was but it was sweet and sticky I wrapped my arm around her and she moved closer and leaned into me.

“Ready” I asked she nodded pouting I could tell she didn’t want to leave just yet I smiled down at her leaning over preparing to give her a kiss but I was interrupted by a very familiar group of voices.

“Ash Gabriel is that you” I heard I groaned and Gabriel blushed slightly stepping away a little from me putting a piece of candy in her mouth I turned in the direction the voices came from.

“They have the worst timing” I mumbled to her before I turned to them

“Hey guys” I said giving them a fake smile standing in front of us were all of our friends who were all looking at us confused.

“We didn’t know you guys were coming here we tried calling you but neither of you answered” Alex said looking at both of us I groaned again good thing we are about to leave.

“Oh must had my phone on silence” I said pulling out my phone looking at it I had several missed calls from them.

“So how long you guys been here” Tyler asked me why does this guy insist on talking to me when he knows I don’t like him I frowned at him but answered anyways.

“Since six I believe” I glanced at my watch looking around trying to get out the conversation Gabriel shifted under me again I glanced at her she was avoiding thier gazes.

“Were we interrupting something” Samantha asked with a sly grin on her face as she looked at us yes you are I wanted to scream at them but I shook my head instead.

“No we’re just hanging out winning stuff” I said nodding my head to the stuff dog sitting next to me.

“So you want to join us it can’t be much fun with just two of you” Aly said looking between me and Gabby

“Nope we were just leaving actually” I said picking up the dumb dog

“Come on you guys stay a little longer we just saw you” Jenna said I shook my head again.

“Sorry we can’t we have somewhere else to go but we’ll catch you guys later” I said I turned us around to the exit not bothering to wait for there goodbyes.

“I’m so glad we didn’t run into them earlier” I said sighing as we walked to the car.

“Yea that would have sucked” I unlocked my car and opened her door for her waiting for her to get in once she was in I closed before going over to my side I started the car and headed out to the road It was 15 minutes past twelve so I had 35 minutes to get her back home which would be plenty of time.

“Hey Ash can we do that again” Gabriel asked from beside me leaning her head against the window.

“Yeah I’ll find another one somewhere or something similar to it” I said glancing at her as she nodded and yawned.

“Sleepy” I asked

“Just a little tired I had fun today Ash thank you” She said I smiled

“Well I’m glad you had fun now go to sleep I’ll wake you up when we get to you’re house” I said she nodded and yawned again before she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

I’m glad she had fun today even if she got hurt in the mirrors which I found rather funny watching her crash into them I wonder what would have happen if we went in the funhouse now that would have been a sight to see. I honestly didn’t think the date would go well because I haven’t really been on a real date before usually I just go straight to their house and leave, so I guess I was nervous in the beginning but I forgot about it after we started having fun and went with the flow of everything, by doing that I had a great time to. I glanced over at Gabriel as I pulled up to her house she was snoring softly I laughed slightly I never heard her snore before and I’ve seen her sleep a bunch of times maybe its because she’s in the car I looked her she looked so peaceful right now and I didn’t have the heart to wake her up so I got out my car and opened her door. I unbuckled her before I lifted her out the car the girl was light as a feather I closed the door making sure she had everything before I carried her to the house I hit the door bell with my back as Gabriel snuggled closer to my chest moving slightly and curling up more in my arms. I saw a light turn on and some shuffling noise before I heard the door open her father was standing there in his robe and slippers.

“I brought her back on time and in one piece” I said he nodded moving out the way as I carried her in the house carefully making sure I didn’t hit her dangling legs on the door.

“You can take her upstairs to her room” He said looking at Gabriel softly I nodded and headed upstairs to her room once I was there I laid her down on her bed before I took off her shoe Jewelry and her jacket. I went to her closet and looked for a her P.J I couldn’t find them so instead I pulled out a familiar shirt from her closet I stared at it for a second before I shrugged I buttoned the shirt over her other shirt covering her body as I unzipped her pants and pulled them off of her I went back pulled her covers back and put them on top of her legs before I undid the top half of the shirt, it took me awhile before I could pull the shirt she had underneath off but I did I button the shirt back up as she moved to her side and snuggled back into the pillow with a small smile on her face. I gave her a soft smile before I pulled the covers up to her chin.

“Night Gabby” I said quietly I kissed her on her forehead before I left out her room I turned out her light and closed her door hearing her mumble something I couldn’t understand. I walked back downstairs where her father was waiting.

“Thank you for letting me take her out tonight sir” I said he nodded.

“It fine you listened to what I said and had her back in time”

“No problem Goodnight” I said he patted me on the back as I walked out.

“I like you kid come over soon” He said I grinned at him and nodded before I went to my car happily but stopped when I looked in I forgot to give him the stuff animal I grabbed the oversized thing out my car and went back to the door ringing the bell again he opened the door confused.

“I didn’t mean this soon son” He said I laughed slightly

“Sorry Sir I forgot to give this back to her” I said nodding my head to animal he looked at it with wide eyes.

“Why is it so big” He asked looking the dog over

“Well your daughter insisted on me winning the biggest one so I did and then I was stuck carrying it around because it is bigger than her”

“That sounds like her” he laughed at me before he told me to put it in her room I made my way up to her room quickly, I quietly opened her door and put it by her bed she was still sleeping peaceful as I left out saying goodbye to her father. I went straight home and straight to bed grinning the whole way there.  I just had the best night tonight I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
