OUTFITS ARE ON THE SIDE

(Ash POV)

I woke up to people footsteps and voices upstairs, I groaned and pulled Gabriel closers to me she snuggled further into me making a small noise before she fell back to sleep I was about to fall back to sleep when I heard people downstairs I guess my dad was showing them the renovations I could hear everyone talking all at once, I groaned again opening my eyes I need to get him to sound proof this room I heard a knock on the door I rolled my eyes I looked down at Gabriel’s sleeping form she looked like an angel right now with her long blonde wild hair long lashes and her slightly pink cheeks, her body was half way on mines she had her face laying on my chest with her hand balled up on my stomach I smiled at her not wanting to move I looked over at my night stand it was 10 o-clock in the morning I sighed before I reached for my camera and took a picture of her sleeping form,, I smiled at it before I heard another knock I groaned quietly and slowly got out of the bed making sure I didn’t wake her up. I went to the door and unlocked it, I didn’t have to unlock the other door because apparently, they got through that one. I opened the door and looked at them they were my cousins we were all about the same age or older.

“What do you want” I asked them I don’t see why they all had to come down here at once it was 9 of them 5 girls and 4 boys. I didn’t like the twins Fred and John they were arrogant and cocky (Age 18) , behind them were the triplets Steve, Jonna and Abby (Age 19) I don’t think I liked them either Abby was okay but Steve and Jonna were annoying and next to them were Ryan, Ariana, Jenifer, and Briana ( Age 17) they seemed cool but they also didn’t bother me. I’m guessing everyone was here and upstairs that means we have to get up.

“Nothing they said breakfast was ready” Fred said looking behind at the bed where Gabriel was still sleeping he smirked at her I frowned and stepped out the room closing the door behind me.

“Okay and all of you came down to tell me that” I said frowning that they woke me up for that.

“No we wanted to hang out with you but you seem pretty busy with that girl in there when you’re finished with her let me get at her” Fred said smirking at me John hi fived him and said something about a double team I glared down at them yes they were shorter than me by like a inch or more.

“Look here you two idiots stay away from her if I catch you anywhere near her I will kill you all of you” I hissed at them they gulp and nodded.

“That goes for the rest of you too” I said looking at Ryan and Steve the both nodded their heads quickly I sighed and gave them a big smile.

“We’ll be up in a minute,” I said grinning at them they nodded.

“Oh and uncle said put some clothes on” Ariana said I groaned I refuse to put clothes on, this is my house.

“Alright” I said not bothering to wait for them to leave I opened my door back to the room and stepped in before I closed it I looked at the bed where Gabriel was sitting up rubbing her face the sleeves on her went back to there original position so now her hands were covered. I smiled at her.

“Hey sleepy head you’re up” I said to her she nodded and stretched, her hair was sticking up everywhere she looked so cute with her sleepy eyes and light pink cheeks I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and washed my face before I came back out she was still sitting there half asleep.

“Who was at the door,” she asked yawning again laying her head back down on the pillow closing her eyes

“Cousins, breakfast is ready you want me to bring you a plate down or do you want to go up there” I asked lifting her out the bed and carrying her to the bathroom I sat her on the bathroom counter top she rested her forehead on my shoulder as I stood in front of her, I reached beside her and turned on the faucet I took a wash cloth and wet it putting on some soap, I lifted her face up and washed off her face she was still sitting with her eyes clothes I chuckled at her and washed the soap off before I grabbed her toothbrush and put some tooth paste on it I looked at her and frowned.

“Gabs open up” I said waiting for her mouth to open instead she opened her eyes and looked at the toothbrush she took it out of my hands and started brushing her teeth slowly while I watched her, she spit the toothpaste out in the sink and rinsed her mouth out I grabbed her wash cloth again and wipe the corners of her mouth.

“So you want to go up or stay down” I asked she didn’t say anything but stare at me I raised my eyebrows at her, she slump her head on my shoulder I laughed I picked up a brush and brushed the knots out of her hair when I was finished I looked at her I guess I’ll carry her upstairs.

“Gabs I’m taking you up stairs” I said she mumbled whatever into my neck as I lifted her up she wrapped her legs around my waist.

“You know you’re going to have to get up to eat Gabs” I told her walking up the stairs

“I know, I just need five more minutes” she mumbled with her face still in my neck I laughed as I opened the door the house was swarming with my relatives most of them were standing around mingling, my cousins were standing right next to the door.

“Ash you’re up” Fred said looking at Gabriel who still wasn’t in her right mind yet

“Yeah getting her some breakfast” I said Gabriel moved her head closer to me I chuckled at her and walked to the kitchen where Jesse, Nathan, Sarah, Mitchell, Andrew and my dad were sitting with some lady talking when I walked in they turned to me.

“Ash I told you to wear clothes” My dad said frowning

“I am I have shorts on” I said sitting down on one of the stools.

“Ash be quiet I’m trying to sleep” Gabriel grumbled I shook my head at her and the others looked at her with their eyebrows raised.

“Gabriel you do realize that you’re in the kitchen” Sarah said smirking at us Gabriel groaned and lifted her head up I smiled at her, her eyes travelled down to my lips.

“Good morning Gabriel” My father said interrupting Gabriel turned her head toward him and turned red when she saw everyone looking at her I laughed and she unwrapped her legs from my waist and turned around on my lap.

“Good morning everyone” She mumbled I laughed at her she turned her blushing face towards me and frowned.

“Why did you bring me up here” She said glaring at me

“Because you said I could and I told you,” I said she smacked my upside my head I rubbed my head grumbling under my breath frowning at her.

“You know I don’t think straight in the morning Ashley” She hissed at me I frowned I hated when she said my full name but I guess she was mad.

“I don’t see what I did wrong,” I mumbled to her she was still frowning at me.

“I’m not presentable you idiot I’m still in my PJ short and I didn’t get to do my hygeine” She said.

“But Gabby I did everything for you I brushed your hair and washed you’re face and brushed you’re teeth” I said she looked at me

“I’m still in my PJ shorts Ashley” She said still frowning at me I groaned.

“Fine then” I said I lifted her up and put her over my shoulder

“Ashley Hughes Davis put me down right now” Gabriel said I shook my head and turned to my family who were grinning at us, Sarah was giving me a you two are so adorable together look I rolled my eyes at her as Gabriel continued to fuss.

“Well if you’ll excuse us we’ll be back” I said politely walking out the kitchen and down the hall ignoring the stares we were getting from my family.

“Ashley put me down this instant” Gabriel said pounding on my back as I walked down the basement I smacked her bottom and told her to keep still.

“Here we go” I said putting her on the bed her face was flushed red I couldn’t tell if it was from embarrassment or from anger I personally think that it’s a little bit of both.

“Ashley why in the” Before she could finished I kissed her leaning her back on the bed slowly not breaking the kiss she bit my lip softly and opened my mouth letting my tongue trace her bottom lip she opened I slipped my tongue in and caressed her mouth with my tongue tasting the same strawberry taste even when she doesn’t eat any she always seemed to taste like strawberries. She pushed me back both us breathing heavy she frowned at me.

“Stop doing that” She said I smirked at her lifting myself up on my elbows.

“Doing what” I asked kissing her again she groaned into it and kissed me back wrapping her arms around my neck I was just getting into the kiss when someone cleared their throat Gabriel pushed me away and sat up I groaned and sat up looking at the intruder.

“So this is what you two are doing down here” Mitchell said smirking at us Gabriel was beet red god I really need to lock the door he was holding two plates in his hand and I saw movement behind him I groaned again who else was down here. I saw Sarah peek out from behind him holding syrup and juice.

“Don’t you people every knock damn it” I said to him frowning I ran my hand through my hair frustrated, I looked at Gabriel she was still sitting there with her bright red face.

“Sorry how were we supposed know that you guys would be making out” He said Gabriel put her hands in her face.

“Look Mitch don’t tell anyone about this” I said frowning at him

“Why not” he asked curiously I looked at Sarah.

“Mitchell just don’t tell anyone obviously they don’t want anyone knowing” Sarah said to him he looked at me and I nodded I didn’t need him running his mouth to the family.

“Fine but I think most of the family already think you two are together anyway” He mumbled I looked at him with my eyebrows raised.

“The kitchen thing you know never mind we only came down here to give you breakfast” He said I stood up and took the plates from him I placed them on the dresser next to the juice that Sarah had sat down.

“Alright, bye now” I said I pushed them out the door and locked it this time.

“Gabs I’m sorry,” I said sitting next to her she looked up at me her face was still red and her lips were swollen she nodded her head and I gave her a plate the plate and she took it she began eating while I stared at my food shoveling it down today is going to be a long day I’ll have to introduce Gabriel to everyone and I’ll have to keep an eye on her around those twins the other people should be fine unless I have another set of cousins coming over. I finished my food quickly and drunk my drink.

“Ash you’re going get an upset stomach if you eat that fast” she said scolding me I rolled my eyes.

“Whatever just finish eating you’re food” I said looking at her plate she still had a couple of pieces left to go.

“I’ll be in the shower,” I said taking my towel off the chair she nodded as I went in the bathroom

(Gabriel POV)

We got caught again its so embarrassing getting caught in those positions I groaned at least it was Mitchel and not anybody else him and Sarah seem like they keep secrets, I heard the water turn off in the bathroom I guess she was finished I got off the bed and looked for an outfit to wear I pulled out a pair of skinny jeans and a white polo shirt it was plain but I didn’t really care but them again I was meeting her whole family oh god I went back in my suit case and pulled out another outfit I found some jean shorts and a cute off the shoulder half shirt top.

“Gabs you can shower now” Ash said coming out the bathroom in just a pair of low ride jeans that looked great on her and her bra as usual, she had a towel hanging over her wet hair.

“Okay” I said walking past her as she walked out the bathroom I enter the bathroom and took my clothes off before I hopped in the shower it didn’t take long for me to shower well I don’t think it did. I got out and dried off before I put on underclothes and shorts followed by my shirt I dried my hair and plugged in my flat iron.

“Gabs you almost done you’ve been in there for forever” Ash said through the door I rolled my eyes.

“I’m doing my hair” I said I heard her groan and walk away from the door. I didn’t do much to my hair except straighten it I didn’t want to curl it until dinner. I stepped out the bathroom seeing Ash slouching on the couch by the wall I walked over to her she finally put on a shirt she now had on the jeans with purple converse and a purple button up shirt she looked nice. When I reached her I straddled her lap laughing at her shocked expression.

“Getting bold aren’t you” I grinned at her as she grabbed onto my waist looking at me with lust I grinned and leaned to her kissing her lightly on the lips before I kissed her up her jaw and down her neck. Her grip tightened on my waist as she groaned.

“Gabs I wouldn’t do that if I were you” She said in a husky tone I looked at her smirking.

“Do what” I asked innocently kissing her neck again sucking on her skin playfully she groaned underneath me again I smiled at that but it quickly dropped. Some how I ended up on the couch and Ash was hovering over me smirking at me.

“Gabs I told you not to do that” She said unbuttoning my shorts I shook my head at her blushing as my shorts came down my body heated up at her touch

“Stop Ash I just took a shower” I said grabbing her hands she groaned again and pulled them back on and buttoned them back up. I sat up and she was frowning at me.

“What” I asked worried that she was mad at me for stopping her .

“You are not wearing that shirt up there” She said I looked down at my top what was wrong with it.

“What’s wrong with it” I asked

“It’s to revealing and my cousins will be looking at you like a piece of meat” She said walking in one of the closets pulling out a gray sweater she pulled me up and forced it over my head it smelled just like her I looked down at it it was a rolling stone sweater it was to big for me my hands were covered up. I frowned at it.

“Ash I look a mess now” I said she laughed at me I looked at her frowning.

“No I think you look cute I love seeing you in my shirts” she said smirking at me I felt my face heat up and my heart speed up. She took my hand and we walked up stairs. It was pretty crowded it looked like there were way more than 20 people it looked more like 30 or 40.

“Ash it’s crowded” I said to her as we walked past people

“I know this is mostly my family who are in town I think these are the people who came for breakfast” She said putting and arm around me as guiding me as we walked past people. We made it to the kitchen where her aunts and grandparents were sitting talking.

“Hey Ash and Gabriel” they greeted us we both said hi but kept walking until we reached a door and we went outside. It was a big wooden patio, people were also outside mingling I spotted her father and her brothers talking to people I took hold of her hand as we walked down the stairs of the patio.

“Ash I didn’t know you had a pool” I said she had a huge pool in her backyard that I never noticed before there were about 9 teens that looked around our age hanging out around here.

“Ash you two finally came out” Some boy said smirking at me I didn’t like the look he was giving me it reminded me to much of Declan and those two guys I moved closer to Ash as the memories flooded my mind I tighten my grip on Ash she looked down at me concerned I shook my head she wrapped her arms around my waist and I leaned into her resting my head on her side.

“Guys this is Gabriel, Gabriel those two are the twins Fred and John” She said pointing to them they looked just alike except Fred and blonde hair and hazel eyes and John had brown hair and Hazel eyes they were cute but I could tell that they were way to arrogant they both smirked at me I frowned I’m happy Ash gave me this sweater now.

“The triplet over there are Steve Jonna and Abby” She said pointing to the three of them it was a guy with dirty brown hair and gray eyes next to him was girl with long curly dirty brown hair and gray eyes and next to her was another girl who looked exactly like her but her hair was shoulder length and a dark blue which I think is dyed, she seemed to stand out among the three of them she had on dark colored clothes and combat boots I think the style fit her perfectly.

“And those four over there are Ryan, Ariana, Jenifer, and Briana” she said pointing to the 4 in the corner they all looked different except for their eyes they all had dark blue eyes Ryan had dirty blonde shaggy hair while Arian had medium length black hair, Jenifer had orange hair and Briana had honey brown hair. Everyone gave me a small hi Ash sat down in a seat and brought me down with her I leaned back into her.

“Are you two dating” John asked us looking at me I swear something is off about those twins I didn’t like them.

“No” Ash and I said at the same time they nodded and grinned.

“Good you’re to hot to be gay” Fred said smirking at me I felt uncomfortable I felt Ash arm wrap around my waist I moved closer to her and put my head on her shoulders.

“Ash I don’t like them” I mumbled quietly to her so only she could hear me.

“Fred and John I warned you already” She said in a threatening tone their grins dropped they mumbled something and left glaring at Ash. I began to relax a little.

“Ryan you need to control your two brothers” Ash looking at him he shrugged and sat down next to us.

“I cant do anything about them look at me they’ll beat me to a pulp” He said I looked at him he was kind of skinny Ash signed.

“Get a backbone will you,” She said shaking her head.

“So where is Dan” Ash asked

“He couldn’t make it but he said he will be here during Christmas or some other day” The girl Ariana said she smiled at me I smiled back I think I’m going to like her too

“Ash is that you” I heard someone yell I looked at Ash and she groaned as a big lady came over and gave her a huge smile.

“It is you Ash you so such a cutie” She said Ash looked at her embarrassed

“Hey Aunt B” She said I laughed slightly and she glared at me.

“Well aren’t you going to give me a hug” She said holding her arms out I laughed again as Ash grumbled and lifted me off her lap and gave her a hug the women looked like she was choking the life out of her I couldn’t help the small laughs that were coming out of me.

“Aunt B this is my friend Gabriel” Ash said introducing me while glaring at me I smiled at the lady and held out my hand to shake her but instead she pulled me into a bone crushing hug okay can’t breath I looked at Ash who was smirking as she put me down.

“I only give hugs,” She said happily looking me over

“I need to feed you you’re so skinny Ash are you feeding her” She said pinching my cheeks frowning ouch I rubbed my cheeks I frowned at Ash.

“yes every single day” She said grinning at me I think my cheek were red from her pinching me.

“Well I guess I’ll just stuff her tonight for dinner” She mumbled and walked off Ash sat back down and patted her lap.

“Not, so funny anymore is it” She said laughing as I grumbled and sat down still holding my cheeks I saw the lady torturing Ash’s other cousins to.

“My cheeks hurt now” I said to her pouting she laughed and caressed my cheeks grinning before she kissed them both.

“Now do they feel better,” She asked giving me a small grin making me blush I didn’t say anything but lean my head on her chest she laughed at me. I watched on of her cousin I think it was who Steve pushed Ryan into the pool laughing at him as he came up.

“The kid seriously needs a backbone” Ash mumbled as we watch Ryan get out the pool dripping wet frowning as he walked past Steve who was still laughing at him. He sat down next to us frowning.

“Ryan you need a man up” Ash said I rolled my eyes at her.

“I’m to small,” He said to her she groaned at him

“Stop using that excuse you’re are a boy you’re supposed to be able to defend yourself you’re never going to get a girlfriend and you should have had one at least at your age” she said I elbowed her in the stomach she groaned and frowned at me Ryan was glaring at her.

“So what, you can defend yourself and I don’t see you with a girlfriend” He said Ash rolled her eyes at him.

“ I don’t need one,” she said I felt my stomach drop at her words, I turned to her and raised my eyebrow at her so now she doesn’t want a girlfriend I guess I’m just a game to her I frowned at her and pushed her hands away from and sat down in the chair next to her she looked at me frowning like I did something wrong I turned away from her and pulled my legs up to my chest and listen to the rest of the conversation.

“Whatever Ash it’s still won’t help if there was someone,” he mumbled Ash laughed at him.

“So there is someone you like but can’t get” Ash said he frowned at that

“No” He said Ash rolled her eyes.

“Look I’m going to give you some advice go for it ” She said now the conversation switched up.

“And what if she say no” He mumbled awe he’s scared that she say no.

“Then she says no” Ash said he nodded

“But what if I try to get her to like me” He asked Ash shook her head

“Don’t she should already like you, shouldn’t have to make someone like you and if you’re talking about that friend of yours then she would know if she doesn’t just give her time I guess” She said he nodded again taking everything in

“How long should I wait” he asked

“I didn’t say wait I said give her time never wait for someone to love you back” She said not paying attention to me as she continued to talk I rolled my eyes, I stood up and walked away the idiot she doesn’t even realize what she just said to him.

I walked into the house avoiding people as I walked past them I went into the living room and sat down next to Sarah who looked bored.

“Hey Gabriel where’s Ash” She asked looking behind me

“Hanging out with her cousins,” I said shrugging my shoulder she looked at me closely and sighed.

“She did something to piss you off didn’t she” She said I gave her a small laugh

“Something like that I don’t think she realizes that she pissed me off though” I said shaking my head Sarah sighed again.

“Well just know that’s she thinks like a guy so she’ll say stuff without noticing” She said giving me a small smile I nodded but still if that’s how she feels then I don’t want to stay in this thing we’re in.
