Chapter 1097 - Brother Quan, What Happened?

Chi Jiao was jolted awake by the sound of the door slamming. Her gaze flickered as she looked at Quan Jue in confusion and hugged his neck like a spoiled child. “Brother Quan, what happened?”

“It was Officer Huo. He came in and saw us, then suddenly rushed out,” Quan Jue said truthfully.

Chi Jiao snorted and said groggily, “Oh, so Officer Huo Chen is here… Wait, you said he came in and saw us lying together?”

Huo Chen was an old acquaintance of hers. He had seen her lying in Quan Jue’s arms like a delicate girl, fast asleep.

The taste of coffee flowed into his mouth.

“Miss Chi, the procedures for Ye Yichen’s transfer to 117 have been completed. I have already brought him over. Other than giving him food and water, no one else spoke to him,” Huo Chen said with a smile.
