“Yes, you’re the smartest.” Quan Jue’s eyes were filled with adoration as he looked at the girl in the video and asked softly, “Shall I pick you up tomorrow to go to school together?”

Chi Jiao’s eyes lit up as she nodded her head heavily. “Sure. I have something I want to talk to you about tomorrow as well.”

“Then go to bed early. Good night,” Quan Jue said softly.

Chi Jiao smacked her lips hard against his face on the screen. “Good night.”

When Xu Lingling came out of the hospital, the moon was already high in the night sky. It was almost 10:00 PM.

It was deep into the winter. Therefore, not many people lingered at the entrance of the hospital, making it seem particularly quiet.

When she reached the entrance of the hospital, Xu Lingling tightened her scarf and called the chauffeur to pick her up.

She waited for about ten minutes before her family’s red Audi entered her field of vision.

The red Audi stopped in front of Xu Lingling, who quickly opened the door and entered.
