Chapter 256 - Failed Mission

After Quan Jue said this, he lowered his head and sealed Chi Jiao’s lips with a gentle smile.

Chi Jiao had no intention to resist as she obediently responded to his kiss.

The air was instantly filled with sweet factors.

Although Chi Jiao wanted to stay to accompany Quan Jue, Chi Mingwei was worried about letting her stay in the hospital until late at night. Therefore, he personally sent a chauffeur to pick her up.

Quan Jue stood on his side and agreed to let her go home. Chi Jiao had no choice but to give in and return back obediently. She told Quan Jue that she would visit him after school tomorrow.

That night, Quan Yan, who had been waiting for the news at the hotel, finally received a call as expected.

“Hello.” Quan Yan hurriedly picked up the call and asked the person on the other end of the line expectantly, “How did it go?”

The person on the other end of the line said coldly, “The mission failed.”

Quan Yan was like an angry lion as he questioned the person on the other end of the call loudly, “What do you mean ‘failed’? Explain to me clearly…! Hello? Hello?!”

Quan Yan was so angry that he was about to go berserk. He shouted a few times but received no response. He was so angry that he threw his phone onto the ground. “F*ck! How dare you hang up on me!”

“Since the mission has failed, I can’t stay here anymore. I have to hurry back and think of another way,” Quan Yan said, his heart bleeding with pity.

But before leaving, he had to make a trip to the hospital to see Jun Hongbo.
