Alex - the end

"It doesn't bite Theo" I said as Theo leaned over my shoulder to look at the little child in my arms, she was almost 2 years old and she was a big girl.

"It teethed on my finger yesterday " he exclaimed, he cried for like 5 minutes, he was one of the strongest wolves in our pack but when it comes to a child he's pathetic.

"It's a baby" I stated, and he rolled his eyes at me being a smartass.

"You sure ?" he said poking her softly in the said making her squeal and move in my arms, he knew how scared I was of dropping her.

"Are you two bickering again" we stopped and looked up at Mar in the door way of my former office now nursery. She did find a way to keep the alliance, for she has become the new beta and she is loving ordering around the new trainees while I run meetings.

"He's not taking the baby" I explained to her

"You know I don't like kids" he always said that but when no one would be around he'd often sing to them. He was good at it, but he didn't want to ruin his reputation. But I don't see how taking care of the kids will do that everyone already calls him Luna.

"I guess I can just give her my dad to watch" Theo loved my father, but he was a grandpa before alpha so he often spend more times with kids instead of his job.

"Hey no he's going to spoil her just live Felix " Theo said and as if right on cue laughter and screaming was heard in the house. I smiled as I knew who was going to come through the door next. Felix was almost 6 and he was always energetic, he was 2 when his parents died from a rogue attack and since we needed an heir we took him in.

"Aunty mar look look " his voice was high and cute, and everyone practically worshiped the ground he walked. Everyone adored him.

Felix holds up a truck he most likely just got and Theo gave the look that said as I just said.

I chuckle as my father made it the room groaning as he stood up straight smiling when see Max in my arms.

"Morning how's my baby girl?" his voice changing as he spoke to her, she giggled and waved her hands towards his face.

The moment we brought Felix home he was all on board, he was happy being a grandpa

"She's teething again" Theo explained, we both split the responsibly of alpha and no one minded, and I enjoyed watching him be boss.

"At least you know she can fend off all the boys " my father replied tickling her.

"Or girls" Mary Ann chipped in and I smiled at her, she still was single, and she doesn't plan on changing that any time soon but she has been a huge help to the younger kids that have been trying to figure themselves out. Theo calls her the pack counselor.

"A right we got to get going a couple kids shifted today" Theo said taking charge getting everyone's attention.

"Okay" i looked at him and he smiled back kissing max's head before moving back up to me.

"Love you my little beta " I said kissing his lips, but we quickly parted when a loud ewww came from Mary and Felix.

Everyone left and then I was left in the room alone with Max. When I blew out my candles I didn't know what was in store. When I found out it was my best friend I was scared of ruining what we had. But I realized we still had that. We never stopped. We are best friends but we did come a more. We're more than friends, more than alpha and beta, more than mates. A soft choo made me look down at my daughter. I wouldn't change a thing a thing and I just hoped that my kids had a experience just as special.

No matter how I try to word it I'm just the beta's alpha.
