*Leo's POV*

The day went by at an unusually slow pace, due partly to my nervousness about Axel coming over, seeing as I haven't invited anyone over since I was a kid, but also with the last words he spoke. I had never been on a date. Ever. I didn't know what to say, what to wear, or even how to act. Hell, I was just getting used to the idea of Kyle being my friend, now all of the sudden I had a date? Honestly, I didn't even know if I was Bi, Gay or straight, I had never really given it a thought.

The very idea of the date pushed a strong wave of an almost nausea type feeling into my stomach, but I knew I wasn't sick, just nervous. I wasn't even sure why. Axel seemed like a really nice guy and all, but I just didn't know what to do, or how to feel.

As the bell rang overhead for lunch to start, I gathered up my things and slowly made my way through the crowded hallways and met up with Kyle at the lunchroom doors. He didn't look all that happy at all, but I didn't ask what was bothering him. Not that I didn't want to know, I just didn't have a chance. Before I could open my mouth he had already started speaking his mind.

"I don't think it's a good idea for you and Axel to date."

I was a little blown away by the sudden bluntness of his words, but didn't get a chance to ask why he thought it was a bad idea. He did know him a lot better than I did so I figured I'd let him speak and tell what the problem would be.

"He's a real big player, Leo. Like a really big one. He's been with most of the people in the school, I'm one of them."

"What do you mean?" I asked stupidly, knowing the answer to the question before it even left my mouth.

"I mean he's slept with almost everyone here."

I didn't know how to react. A small part of me was very disappointed, another rather jealous. If was Kyle was saying is true, he's been with way more people than me. I mean, I know that's not something to look up too, just, you have to have some sort of skill to pull that off, right?

"Speak of the devil." Kyle stated, looking behind me.

Turning around and catching his eyes, Axel with a group of about five other people started walking towards us, each one engaged in their own conversation, lost to the reality of everything around them. Making a line straight to me, Axel wrapped his arms around my shoulder and pulled me for a hug, sending sharp bits of pain throughout my body due to his hands touching a still bruised spot on me.

"Hey, why do you look so sad?" He asked taking a step back.

I turned around to see if Kyle was still there, mostly to have an anchor holding down my words in case they caused a problem. I wanted to bring up what he had just told me with Kyle there as a defendant but as my eyes scanned the area he was nowhere in sight. I decided to bring it up anyway, not trying to cause problems with my new found friends, I just wanted to know if what he said was true.

"Uh...I have a question." I stated, feeling more nervous than I had before.

"Okay, what is it?" He asked, smiling really big at me.

"Well, um...I heard that you're kind of a player..."

A small sigh left his lips and he leaned back on one foot, taking a more relaxed position against the walls of the cafeteria. The smile however, never faded from his lips. If anything, it seemed to have grown even bigger.

"You talked to Kyle, didn't you?"

I couldn't help but notice he hadn't answered my question yet, but decided to humor his and respond with the truth. I wanted to make sure that he wasn't around so I did a once over of the room and then told him that I had.

"I'm not a player, Leo. If you believe me or not, that for you to decide. I have been with a few people but that was only by their choosing, I moved as fast as they wanted too. I can however, tell you this: Kyle said those things because he is jealous. He was all over me, trying to get me to date him for almost two year until you came along. After that, you're all he's been able to talk about."

I didn't know how to take what he had just told me, I had no idea if it was true, or a lie. I don't either of them well enough to say that only one of them is telling the truth. Then again, Axel had just told me about the people he has been with, so there's that in his favor.

"Ask around if you'd like, everyone will tell you that's how he is. He doesn't want us to date so that he can try and get with you."

"It is true, he did that with a few other people as well." Lisa stated, jumping in on the conversation. "He's been talking about you since he met you and this really is a common occurrence with him. Did he say that he slept with him, too?"

After telling them yes Axel rolled his eyes and took a step towards me, stating that Kyle wasn't his type, that's why they had never done anything. I took in everything they said to me with a pretty open mind and decided to give the date a shot. We agreed that we'd meet up after school and I'd give him a ride to my house.

Lunch passed by pretty quickly despite the hours leading up to it. I hadn't seen Kyle throughout the rest of the day, nor when the last bell rang overhead, signaling the end of another school day. Axel was waiting by my car so I pulled the keys out and unlocked it as I walked up. Opening the door for him I found myself blushing as he called me a gentlemen and got into the driver side.

We didn't talk much on the way there, just occasionally stealing glances and smiling to one another when we caught eyes looking our way. Pulling up the driveway I found myself laughing pretty hard when he saw the house I now called home. He just stood in place, mouth hanging open and at a loss of words when I started up to the door, keys jingling in my hand.

"You live HERE?" He asked, shock painted on his face.

I just smiled at him as I opened the door and invited him in. The movers had already put everything in place so I led him right to the couch in the living room and asked if he wanted anything to drink. After naming all the sodas we had, he politely turned them down and asked only for water, as he didn't drink soda to keep in shape.

Grabbing out two glasses and filling them with water from the fridge, I took them both out there and set them on the coasters. We didn't say anything at first, just kind of sat there in the room sitting pretty close together.

"So, you said you play piano?" He asked, breaking the silence.

"Oh, yeah. Come here, I'll show where it is."

Getting up off the sofa and heading into my room, I took him to the wall piano I had against the far wall and sat down on the bench placed before it. Noticing he wasn't next to me, I turned my head and saw him standing in the doorway to my bedroom, shock once again on his face.

"Dude, your bedroom is the size of my living room!"

I just smiled and patted the space on the bench next to me, letting him know it was okay to sit down. Slowly making his way over I asked what he knew how to play then smiled when he sheepishly said nothing. Placing my hands on the keys, I showed him where middle C was then the notes that followed afterwards.

Though it took him a few tries, he finally started getting the hang of finger placement, only messing up once or twice. Though I felt myself shaking, I took hold of his hand and placed his fingers on the keys he needed to hit, then looked over to see him staring at me. A small shine seemed to hold place in his eyes, as his smile began to get bigger and bigger. I started to ask if he needed any help with the notes, if he needed anything at all, but my words were cut short, as his lips softly pressed against mine.
