CHAPTER 11

This is the dress Aanya and Kaden wear at Aanya's apt for discussion..

AANYA'S POV

A week passed since Sapphire had entered my cabin and made my day memorable. Since then Kaden and I have met every other day. Today is Saturday and we are suppose to discuss about the quotation of the project. So I and Kaden decided to meet at my apt after 7. Shocking right? Actually in this past week I decided to keep aside my problems and focus just on this project. Because its more important than anything right now. So now we fight a little less, just a little. We act completely professional.

So back to today's meet, he will come directly to my apt as he obviously knows the address. So, here I am packing the needful to bring with me to the apt. When I had everything I need I gave it to my driver to carry it to the car. At 7.05 I was at my house. I cleared the living room so that we can work there. After everything was done I went to my bedroom and had a bath in 10 mins and changed into a comfortable palazzo pants and buttoned top, tied my hair in high ponytail and did minimal makeup as I was not planning to go out. At 7.30 I heard a knock at the door and went to open it.

There he was standing in a dark green shirt and black jeans with his white coat in hand. He had opened two buttons of his shirt so he looked relaxed. He smiled at me and I let hum come inside and asked him to go and sit in the living room.

"Would you like to drink something.?" I asked him.

"I would like a coffee. Thank you." He said.

I went to make coffee for both of us. When I got back with coffee in my hand I saw he wasn't sitting on the couch but looking at the pictures on the wall in the opposite direction. I had all my good memories there. My family time, and my photos with Ben and Saph, with every single pose you could imagine. Ben was even pouting with us in one of the pics. He had threatened to kill me when I had put this photo up. But me being me I still have it on my Wall Of Fame. That's what I call it.

I cleared my throat and Kaden snapped out of his stance and walked back to the couch and we started withthe work. To our surprise we were doing quite a good job keeping it professional. But as they say every good thing will come to an end, so did our attempt to be professional. We were arguing at one side of the exterior of the building, but were not coming to a conclusion.

"That won't look good Kaden. Look this structure doesn't have any inspiration. What are you going to tell the client when he asks about it?" I asked getting frustrated.

"Why would Mr. Richardson want to know about a inspiration Aanya. He just wants a unique and good design. And this is a unique concept. Just yesterday you were cool with this designs. What changed it now?" Kaden asked. Yup we were calling each other by our first name. Some where between todays discussion he started calling me Aanya and I didn't correct him. As it is, we are going to work together for at least 3 months, just for the drawings to get completely final.

"I gave it a good thought and then I am telling you Kaden. Try and find some inspiration or a proper concept." I said. He raised a eyebrow at me and I gave him a look that I am not changing my decision.

"You know what I cant help you with yourtendency." He said with a shrug. I was staring at him, like what the hell does he mean.

"I am sorry what? My which tendency?" I said with a confused look.

"Ohh come on.. Your tendency to change paths at anytime you wan.t. Just in this case its drawings and back then they were boys" Kaden said, smirking.

I just looked at him like what the fu*k is he talking about? "What the hell do you mean Kaden. No actually who the fu*k are you to judge me" I said getting angry.

"Ohhh! I think you know exactly what I am talking about Ms. Williams. You just can't stay with one thing for long time. You just want changes. Right?" He said.

"Go to hell Kaden. You know nothing about me or my life. So just stay out of it. And you are telling me to stay constant. When everyone in your life is just a part of some stupid game for you" I stood up and was almost yelling at him.

"Yaa right.. That's what you think. That's not me" Kaden said still sitting causally. Before I could tell him anything he continued, "Oh I forgot! Now a days you have your part of share filled by your office boy. Hahaha.. I was much better than that idiot. Don't you thing Angel?" Now he was standing right in front of memocking me with a smirk.

"There is no Angel in here. You get that straight Kaden. And DON'T YOU DARE BRING BEN IN BETWEEN." By now I was literally poking his chest with my finger.

He caught my hand in his and pulled me towards him, so now I was almost face to face with him, "Now now, you really think that guy would want you Aanya? You are just a heartless women now. Nothing else but that" he said.

I just stood there and blinked at him, all those memories coming back at me.

"She is just a profit to me. I am with her for her money. Because she is nothing but heartless bit*h" he said to his Friend. I was standing behind his door and listening to him. All this while I thought he loved me..

I pushed all my emotions back and glared at Kaden. I pushed him away from me and said,

"What the fu*k do you want Kaden. You think I made a mistake back then.I don't think so, I don't give a fu*k whether you care for me or not, just remember we are together for this project or else I wouldn't be tolerating you for a minute" I said.

"Ohhh.. Did I hurt you Miss Williams? I was beginning to think you have transformed in a stone. You do have some emotions left it seems. And You know what Aanya, this nature of yours is exactly why people hate you so much at your office." He said.

"Oh really. I'm happy that they hate me on my face, unlike you who pretended to care but actually don't." I retorted, and before he can say anything I cut him and continue...

"Don't bother to reply Kaden. Just get out of my house and close the door after leaving" with that I went to my room and locked it.

It wasn't until I heard the door close that I slide down the door on my back and hugged my knees to my chest and started sobbing. All those memories came down at once like a tons of brick fall on me.

"I just want her till the time she gives me 50% of the companies profit. Haha, she thinks I care for her. She wont even know what hit her until the end" Adrianwas fully laughing with his friend now. I couldn't take it anymore. I ran from there to my house. All these time when ever he wanted money I gave it him. Although he belonged to a rich family his dad would never allow him his money. I would always lend him money whenever he needed.

"Aanya darling I know you are home. Open up" He called from my door. That's when I realized he was knocking from last 5 mins. I can't stand him anymore. I will finish this right now. I went and opened the door and there he stood in all his glory. Earlier I would be drooling over him but now I cant even look at him without getting angry.

"Aanya love, finally. Where were you? Wait a min , what happened? Why are you crying.?" He looked so genuine. For a second I thought that maybe I had mistaken some1 else with him but no I was damn sure that was his voice. "Why do you care?" was all I said and gave him my deadliest glare.

Adrianlooked a shocked but composed himself quickly, "what are you talking about dear. Off course ill care. You are my girl. My life..." before he could say anything else I stopped him and said, "Stop with the act already. I now you are with me just for my money and nothing else. Am I right? Don't even think of lying. I heard your conversation with you friend. So don't bother" I said no yelled at him.

"Ohh who said about denying anything. Now that you know it will be easy to do what I always wanted to." After saying that he just slapped me. Like literally . I was about to say something but he caught me by my hair and dragged me to the living room all thewhile his other hand was covering my mouth. He pushed me on the couch and threw a bunch of papers on the coffee table. Just one look at them and I knew what they were. 50% of my companies profit. "No way in hell am I signing these papers. You can just dream about it." I said and stood up.

"You bit*h. You think you can win me on this one. You see I am obviously stronger than you so I have all the advantage. Now do as I say or else you will regret it" he told me. I just spat in his face. All the love that I ever had for him long gone. I just loathed him.

"YOU BIT*H" He said and raised his hand to hit me but the hit never came. I opened my eye and came face to a back. "How dare you hit her. You fu*king bastard. I'll kill you." That's when I realized that Ben had come just in time to save me. Ben pushed Adrian on the sofa and started hitting him. Ben was more muscular than him thus at advantage. I quickly called 911 and told them about my situation. After 10 mins the cops came and arrested him. Ben had one cut on his lips and a cut on his eyebrow but he looked more pathetic. Blood was all over Adrian's face.Ben came rushing to me and pulled me into a massive hug and consoled me.

That's how Sapphire found me besides my bed shaking and crying. She knew instantly that I was having a panic attack and hugged me and hold me there until I was breathing almost normally. She didn't ask me any questions just made me sleep by her being with me all the time.

So that's chp 11. what do you guys think... was Kaden too harsh on her? They did try being professional but looks like it didn't workout at all..

What about yet another glimpse of Aanya's past?  It looks like she has her reasons for being such a heartless women. What will happen when Kaden comes to know about this chapter of her life?
