CHAPTER 22

When I picked my cell to look at who is calling me, I got more ANGRY!

KADEN'S POV.

"What?" I asked angrily.

"Can you at least pretend you are not upset that I called." He said laughing.

"Cut the chase Ben. What do you want? Why the hell are you calling? Done taking care of people you love." I asked

"Actually I am done. I want to meet you. Wanna have a talk with you." Ben said.

"Listen I have no time for your shit. And even if I had time I defiantly wont waste on - " I said but he cut me and spoke.

"Its about Aanya." As soon as he said that I stopped.

"Now that I have your attention, I have to meet you. I have some doubts that need to get clear. So what time tomorrow?"

"Uhh.. I have meeting lined up for the whole day. I wont be free before 8. You can come to my apartment at 8.30. We can talk at there." I said curtly, trying to keep the curiosity out of my voice.

"Yaa its fine with me, and I want assurance that you wont hit me." He said laughing a little.

I rolled my eyes "That I cant assure you. But if you want to talk be there at 8.30." and I ended the call. I can only deal with so much of annoyance in one day.

I started the car and went home. Its going to be a long day tomorrow.

AANYA'S POV.

After Josh and Ben took me to Ben's apt, all we did was eat and watch movie. In between watching a movie Sapphire went in the kitchen and brought ice-cream with her. She sat besides me and we ate the ice-cream. According to her it can solve any damp mood. After eating Saph placed a small black box on my lap.

I gave her a 'what is this' look. "Open it!" she simply said.

I took the box in my hand and opened it. I gasped as I saw what's inside. It was beautiful neck piece. A thin chain of silver and a Sapphire drop pendant hanging in the middle. There was a silver butterfly in the left hand side corner. I looked at her and she was looking nervous as hell.

"Sooo... Do you like it? I can change it if you want? I should have took the other one. I knew you would like that one better. But it was just that I looked at this necklace and I thought of you. You love butterflies too. It even has one there.. See.." Saph was blabbering and that had already caught Josh and Ben's attention. Even they were looking at her funny.

"SAPPHIRE!!" I all but yelled at her and she finally stopped with her ranting.

"WHAT?"

"I love it sapphire. Its just perfect. Thank u soo much saph." I said and jumped on her and hugged her. She released her breath and hugged me back as tightly.

"I am so glad you like it. I was going to give it to you before your birthday, cause m not here during your birthday. But since Ben told me about what happened, I thought you will love it if I gave it you now. I love you Neah. Always remember that." She said while still holding me tightly. I felt weight on my back and realized that Josh was hugging me from behind and Ben was doing the same to Saph.

"Hey don't forget us!" Ben said. I rolled my eyes and chuckled.

Eventually we all slept one by one. When I woke up I was on my bed with Sapphire half on me. I chuckled. Its her habbit, she just likes to cuddle. It took me while to untangle myself from her. After having shower I made breakfast for all us and left for office early before any of them woke up.

After entering the building first thing I did was call Scarlet.

"Scarlet I want you to reschedule my meetings. I want to finish my pending meeting today iyself. So make a new schedule and arrange as many meetings as you can today. Is it clear?" She nods her heads. "Good, you may leave." I sigh and sit down at my desk and start working on new project's working.

No one had come today to disturb me. Guess everone got the news that I was In a bad mood today. But that cant stop Ben. Ben just came in for 15 mins with my lunch tried to get me out of here but I told him I don't want to talk about it, he understood and left. Its already 7.30, every1 has left the office and I asked Ben to leave too. Now I can finally peacefully complete these design. From tomorrow I will give my designers and draftsmen to do rest of those work.

KADEN'S POV

Finally my meeting is over. Finally I'll be able to rest. Sh*t! How can I forget! Ben is coming today at 8. And its already 7.30. I went downstairs and asked my driver to take me home.

I reached home around 7.50 and got fresh. As I was about to switch on my TV the door bell rang.

"Good he is on time! Or else I wouldn't had entertained him." I mumbled opening the door.

There was that idiot. Well he is in his track pants and , Smiling at me. I gave him a fake smile. What does he accept me to do? Get friendly with him knowing he is with My Angel. No can do. He came in and I gave him a coffee sitting opposite to him.

"So you said you wanted to talk to me. What is it about?" I asked getting straight to point.

"Yaa actually I wanted to ask you what happened yesterday between you and Neah?" he asked.

"None of your business. What ever it was it was between us"

"Woah! Dude no need to get this crazy" he said raising his hands. "I just asked bcoz Aanya wont tell us what happened........ Alright let me just get to the point. Do you like her?"

I was not expecting this question. "Why are you asking me this, when you yourself are with her. Some boyfriend you are" I said it. That's it.

"1st - I am not her boyfriend. I am just her best friend. And 2nd - I just wanted know that you wont play with her heart once more just like you did back at your high school." He said getting a little angry. And I was shocked. When the Fu*k did I play with her heart. It was the opposite.

"I WOULD NEVER DID PLAY WITH HER HEART, NOR WILL I EVER. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SAYING." I all but yelled at him.

"What do you mean you never hurt her. You did break her heart dude. Don't you fu*king lie to me. You went to Sarah when Aanya clearly liked you." Ben said.

"Wtf. Do you know what exactly happened. I didn't go to Sarah, I don't even fucking like her. Aanya was the one who went to Seth. She was the one who betrayed me and went into the bedroom with Seth. You better get your facts checked." I said glaring at him.

He just sat there looking at me for a minute and then spoke. "I think you guys need to talk. Like seriously need to talk. I am sure there is some major misunderstanding between you two."

"What are you talking about.? What misunderstanding?" I asked getting anxious. Somethings wrong.

"I cant tell you what it is as it is not my place to tell you. But dude, lets make one thing clear. If you ever as much as hurt a hair on her I'll personally see to it that you rot in hell. She have had her share of heart break. I don't think she can handle one more." He said looking in my eye. One thing I got from this is that he loves Aanya, not like a boyfriend should, but more like a brotherly love. But I cant get what he said. Aanya had her share of heart breaks?

"What do you mean by she had her share if heart breaks?" I asked Ben

"It means what it means. After what ever the shit happened between you two, she gave one more person a chance to hold her heart. But he just happened to crush it more than it already was. But don't worry, I had beat him up before he could even lay a finger on her. Thank God I as time, or else he would have slapped her" he said getting angry at who ever that was.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN HE WOULD HAVE SLAPPED HER!!!!" I yelled at him. God I am so going to kill him. How dare he try and hit my Angel.

"His name was Adrian. He was her boyfriend for about a year. She was happy that she could finally move on from you. But Adrian was nothing Good. Infact he was with Neah just for her money. When she refused to sign the papers, he decided to hit her. But I stopped him just in time." Ben was literally shaking from anger, so was I.

"Where is he? I'll kill him" I asked him

"Relax. He was sentenced for a lifetime prison. Aanya's dad took care of it. What I am saying is that, if you don't like her seriously, then back off. Let her be" He said

"I wont back off. I like her Ben. I just have to talk to her right.? Sort out the misunderstanding between us." I said as realization hit me.

"that all I wanted to hear. I'll take a leave now. Talk to Kaden. Good luck." With that he turned around and went for the door. But stopped opening the door, and turned to face me with a smirk on his face. I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Oh and Kaden just for your information that I m not at all interested in Aanya.. I would rather be with you than her." He winked and left. I was literally staring at the now closed door with my mouth open. Was I jealous of a guy that is Gay all this while. Fuck now I feel like a real loser.

ANGEL I am coming to get you. Be ready.!!!

Hello my beautiful people. How are you guys?

Sry for not updating last week. Actually I was stuck with this chapter a little bit. But anyways after a long chat with one of my friend I was finally able to rewrite this chapter.

So how was it?? Kaden is finally able to put pieces together as to why is Aanya so cold towards him. Right? Lets hope he finds out before something happens.(Something in here is Sarah &Cameron)

Oops!! I didn't say anything. Hehe!!
