CHAPTER 34

Zacks phone rings. I snap my head to him and I ask, "Who is it? If its Kaden then you better not pick it up." I warn him.

He sighs, "Aanya just let him know you are ok. He must be going out of his mind."

"I don't care. Just give me your phone." I say and he sighs again and gives me his phone. Now all of us have to wait.

KADEN'S POV:

Zack had left after trying to change my mind and go back to Aanya, but I am not going that's for sure. I just made him promise me that he will call me if anything happened to her. I sighed as I started walking towards the parking lot.

I have many rivals who would love to get back at me by hurting her. I cant risk that. Not at all.

After I saw what state she was when we found her, I cant do it anymore. For her, I have to leave her. She is been calling me again and again, but I am not answering it.

She has even left me more than 7-8 text asking me where I am? Why am I not taking her calls?

Each and every call and text breaks my heart more than it already is. I was walking with a heavy heart to the parking lot. I almost reached my car, when my cell rang again. I don't know how many more time will I be abke to ignore her calls.

I take out cell and look at the caller id. Its not Aanya. But its even worse, Zack is calling me. I told him to call me only if Aanya is not ok. All those stupid thoughts run through my mind, and I hurriedly pick up the call.

""Zack, is everything ok? Is she ok? Do you want to come there? I am in the parking lot only." I ask getting anxious.

"Um! Kaden actually its..." Zack starts to say, but I can feel he is a little worried. I was about to ask him when I hear her voice. I was about to cut the call but My breath is caught up, when I hear her yelling.

"MR. KADEN FORD, YOU BETTER NOT CUT THIS CALL AND LISTEN TO ME VERY CAREFULLY. AND KEEP YOUR EARS OPEN, CAUSE I AM GOING TO REPAET THIS ONCE." Aanya yells. She knows me better than any1. Before I could say anything she continued.

"WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? I HAVE BEEN CALLING YOU FROM ALMOST 45 MINS, AND YOU ARE NOT ANSWERING ANY OF MY FUCKING CALLS. BUT WHEN ZACK CALLS YOU, YOU PICK IT UP ON THE FIRST RING.

DON'T I HAVE LEFT ANY IMPORTANCE IN YOUR LIFE? .

HOW DARE YOU LEAVE ME? How CAN you leave me Kaden?" She said, after all this yelling, last line was barely a whisper. It broke my heart at how vulnerable she was sounding. Her voice telling me that I broke her heart yet again.

"First you try and come back in my life. Then you wont even leave even when I tell you to. You Annoy me to no ends, Kade.

Then after all the things we went through, this project where most we did was to fight rather than work, then with Sarah, Cameron, and me being kidnapped, Now you start to avoid me and try and get out my life Kaden?

Well News Flash, I wont let you go this time without a fight. Even if I have to fight with you to bring you back.

So, now you better come here in next 10 mins, or so God help me, I'll just stop taking all the medication from the Doctor and Detach all the medications from Me. Now its all your choice if you want me live or not.

And you know me better than to think that, I wont do such thing, because I sure will do.

10 mins Kade." She was so calm when she told me that she would stop taking the medication.

"ANGEL LISTEN TO ME PLEASE..." But before I can even complete a line she cut the call. I was staring at my phone.

"FUCK!! FUCK FUCK!!" I Kicked the tire of my car, before I run towards the hospital. I know when she is serious.

I have to reach to her before 10 mins. Is she freaking crazy!! Its almost 15 mins even if I run. Why should the parking lot be this big..?

Cmon Kaden you have to do it for Aanya!! I pushed my legs faster than before. I cant even believe I can run this fast. As soon as I enter the hospital I check my phone, to see that 2 mins are already up.

Fuck! I am in the opposite wing from Aanya's room. Uhhhhh!!!

I was pushing people from my way and running like crazy. People were now making way for me automatically. I saw it a straight hallway to the other wing. I saw it was already 5 mins.

I called Zack again, hoping he will pick up, so that I can convince Aanya to stop this stupid idea of her. But he doesn't pick up.

"SHIT!!" I yell loudly. My legs were killing me right now. I don't care about me right now, so I push myself to run faster. All I need to do is reach to my Angel, before she does something stupid. I was running and running. I reached the elevator and stopped to see that it was on the 6th floor. It will take forever to come down.

I frantically search for the Staircase that will lead me up. I find it and start to climb two stairs at a time. I look at my cell to see just 3 mins are left.

"Ahhh!!" While looking at my cell, I fell face flat on the stairs. I groan and stand up, but don't stop to see if I got hurt somewhere. My head hurts badly, but I don't care. Uhhh!!

Finally I reach the 2nd floor and open the door and enter the lobby. Her room is just round the corner. I run again and check my cell again. Shit just a min left. I push my legs faster and turn the corner. I can see her door. I run and push her door with much force

"AANYA!!" I yell as soon as reach inside. I saw that she us sitting on the bed with her hand ready to remove the tube attached to her hand. Thats when I get Angry.

AANYA'S POV:

6 mins have already passed. I have full fate in Kaden. He will come. Please God!!,I know he loves me. Please. I pray as a sob escapes my mouth. I feel pair of arms wrap around me. I see that Saph is still sitting by me, but the pink blush on her cheeks are replaced by red angry look.

"Aanya please stop the timer. Please!! Don't do anything stupid Neah. Stop it for God's sake" she is whispering in my ears.

I don't say anything to her. I know he will come. I keep a blank face. Seconds are ticking and my hope of him coming is getting stronger.

I pick up my cell to see that there's only 2 mins left. I look at Ben who is still glaring at me and huff when I look at him. I don't know what I did was right or wrong, what I only know is that I cant lose Kaden now. I love him more than I love myself.

But one thing I am sure is that I am going to stop the medication if doesn't come.

I lay back a little bit. After what felt like a second, I checked my cell again. I saw the timer indicating just 50 seconds left. I took a deep sigh and sat a little straighter. My ribs are hurting like shit!!

But I can't sit in one position. I close my eyes and my heart is beating wildly. Sapphire was shaking from anger. Now I don't know whether its towards Kaden or me..

I was continuously looking at the timer and everyone else were looking at door waiting for Kaden to come.

"AANYA!! STOP THIS STUPIDITY, NOW! HE WONT MAKE IT IN TIME. ITS HARDLY 10SECS NOW." Ben yells at me. I look at him wide eyes as he comes to me. Just before he could reach me, the hospital room door opens with such a force, that it bangs.

"AANYA!!" I hear his voice. I don't even turn to look at him. I close my eyes and just sit there with tears rolling down my eyes. My hands are still in the tube to remove it, if he wouldn't make it on time.

"WHAT THE HELL AANYA? WHAT THE FUCK? ARE YOU INSANE? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW DID I REACH HERE? HUH?" Kaden yelled at me. I could feel him coming besides me. I didn't ans him neither looked at him.

"FUCKING LOOK AT ME!!" I snapped out of my state and turned my face to look at him. I opened my eyes and the 1st thing I saw was his eyes they full of anger and fear.

"DO YOU REALIZE WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? YOU DIDN'T ONLY PUT YOUR LIFE AT RISK BUT MINE TOO." He was still yelling at me. I looked down in my lap, coz I was feeling like I am being scolded like a child.

Seeing this Kaden took a deep breath and continued, "Why do you think I decided to leave you, you Idiot? Huh? I left you so that nothing bad can happen to You! Cant you see that?"

Tears were flowing freely feom his and my eyes. "If I were to stay with you, any1 who is my rival will try hurt you to get to me. I would never in a million years let this happen." He took my face in his hands and made me look at him, "Do you kniw how important are you to me? If I could switch places with you, I wouod happily do it and take all the pain away from you"

I then realize that our friends have left the room and now its only me and him.

"Do you think, you leaving me would solve everything? All this fucking years we didn't talk to eachother and when we did, we only fought! Do you realize that we have wasted so many years just because of some misunderstanding. I don't wamt to do that again Kaden" I said looking deep into his eyes. He has to realize that running is not an option.

"You think its easy for me to just sit and look at you go away from me. All I can do is sit here with these horible cuts on my face and hands and don't know where where on my body, and try and soothe myself saying that you didn't leave me because of them. Hope that you don't hate me or even want to see my face after all of these. YOU TELL ME KADEN, WHAT CAN I DO, OTHER THAN FORCING YOU TO FUCKING COME HERE AND TELL ME WHY YOU LEFT ME KADE?" I was breathing heavily.

The next thing I know is that he wrapped his hands around me and let me cry. I know its Kaden. I move my right hand and clutch on his arm and cry more. His hold on me tightens.

"Oh Baby!! I would never leave you. Even if I do, it wont be because you have some cuts on your body. It would only be because I want to protect you" Kaden said holding me tightly.

I frowned and shook my head, "You don't leave me, period!! You would never leave me. Do you understand?" I tilted my head to look at him.

He had tears in his eyes. This is the 1st time I have seen him crying. He cracks a smaile at my worried expression and lean in to kiss my forehead.

"Yes Mam. I understand!" He rests his chin on my head. I nod satisfied from hus answer.

I moved away from him to look at his face, It was then that I saw the big cut on his forehead.

"Omg Kaden!! What yhe hell happened to your head?" I asked getting worried.

He touched his head and winced. I called the nurse by the button that is attached to my bed, and within seconds a nurse came in. I asked her to attain Kaden and she made Kaden sit on the chair and started to clean him. All the time Kaden was looking at me and smiling. Hissing from time to time. I would laugh at that and Kaden would glare at me, which made me laugh more.

He would wink at me and cant help but blush. The nurse smiled at me and left, I blushed looking at my lap.

I scooted a little bit and pat the place to him. He slides in next to me and I turn a liitle as much as I can and rest my head on his chest. He wipes the tears away from my face and kiss me deeply.

"Kade?" I call him.

"Hmm?" he hums to encourage me to continue.

"Thank you for staying." I say as my eyelids gets heavy, but I try to keep them open and tighten my hold on Kaden's shirt, fearing that if I close them, he will leave.

He gently stroked my cheek and said, "Sleep Angel! Ill be right here when you wake up" and kissed my head.

I sighed in satisfaction and closed my eyes with my love by my side. I had the best sleep after a long time.
