CHAPTER 35

“Thank you for staying.” I say as my eyelids gets heavy, but I try to keep them open and tighten my hold on Kaden’s shirt, fearing that if I close them, he will leave.

He gently stroked my cheek and said, “Sleep Angel! Ill be right here when you wake up” and kissed my head.

I sighed in satisfaction and closed my eyes with my love by my side. I had the best sleep after a long time.

AANYA’S POV:

“Omg!! They are so cute!!” Someone said.

“ Yaa Finally! They are together” One more voice said.

I felt Kaden’s hand squeeze my arm a little bit. I was still on the hospital bed and Kaden is sleeping on my bed. I felt content to know that he didn’t leave me.

A smile tugged at my lips.

“I think they should already  have S*x, now that they are together” That was surely Ben. I was about to turn and give him a piece of my mind when Kaden tightened his hold indicating to stay still. I mentally rolled my eyes.

Obviously he is enjoying hearing about us having S*x.

“Ouch!! What the hell?” Ben shouted. “That’s my sister your talking about” Josh angrily said.

“ You think they didn’t do anything related to that till now” I peeked open my eyes just a little bit to see what’s going on. Ben is smirking at Josh and he is glaring back.

“Whatever I am going to get a coffee. Cant stand you guys when all you talk about is about my sisters s*x life.” I felt my cheeks go red. I am sure I look like a tomato. Josh came to my side and kissed my forehead and went to leave.

“What do you guys want?” Josh asked them.

“British Tea for me” Saph said. “A Cappuccino for me” That was Zack.

“Oyee! Make that two. And make it fast!” Ben said or more like ordering Josh. I opened my eyes again and saw that Josh was clutching the back of Ben’s shirt and dragging him with himself.

“Wow! Where are you taking me?” Ben yelled at him.

“You are coming with me, Mr. Make it fast!” Josh replied.

After a min of utter silence I as about to get up but Zack spoke before I could even move.

“See I told you Kaden will come to Aanya in time, didn’t I Sweetheart?”  Zack moved closer to Saph.

“Whatever!! You don’t need to take the credit. Its all Kaden’s doing. And how many times do I have to tell you not to call me that!” She practically yelled at him.

“What? What are you talking about Sweetheart?” Zack said feigning innocence.

“You know exactly what I am talking about Zack. Stop calling me Sweetheart! I am nobody’s Sweetheart.” She said getting angry by seconds.

“But you are mine. You are and always will be my Sweetheart. Don’t forget that.” He said moving close to her. I saw that Saph was clearly intimidated by him but damn that girl had got a good poker face.

“Stop Zack. I don’t want to be with you. I am no…” Before she could finish Zack grabbed her face and kissed her. They both were actually on each others throat. I cant watch it anymore secretly. I coughed a little loudly so they could hear us and it worked.

Saph jumped back and started looking at the door and Zack was looking at us intently.

“I think I saw her move” Zack said. I instantly squeezed my eyes shut.

“Of course she did. We are awake, idiots.” Kaden said and I opened my eyes.

“What the fuck! Neah!!” Saph yelled and turned to bury her face in Zack’s chest.

Zack chuckled and wrapped his arms around her.

I had the biggest smile on my face. Looks like Saph is finally moving on.

Just as I was about to say something, Sapphire pushed back from Zack and tried to run outside of the room. I saw tears in her eyes when she turned around.

“Sapphire!!” Zack caught her by her arm and turned her around. “What’s wrong?” He asked.

Saph shrugged his hand and glared at him. I sighed, I knew what was coming next.

“Sapphire Don’t” I warned looking at her. She looked back at me with tears filled eyes, and shook her head.

She looked so damn vulnerable, I wanted nothing but to take her in my arms, but I cant because I am attached to the fucking machine here.

“You cant understand me, when I say once right.” She paused and looked down for second and  then when she looked back at Zack again, her eyes held so much anger, when she continued, “I ASKED YOU TO FUCKING LEAVE ME ALONE. CANT YOU DO THAT. DO ME FAVOR AND DON’T SHOW ME FACE EVER.” With that she left the room with shocked Zack standing there looking at the door for a min.

“Zack?” I called Zack.

“Forget it Aanya! Just don’t!” He snapped and went out of the door, slamming the door.

“Shit, shit, shit!” I sighed, I don’t know what to do with her.

“Its ok Angel. Don’t stress right now baby” Kaden wrapped his hands around me.

“Its just that she has been through a lot. Zack does make her happy Kade. She is just too scared to admit it and go through with it.” I said while burying my face in his chest.

“Aanya my baby.” I heard my mothers voice.

I wiped my tears hurriedly and pushed Kaden a little bit.  He straightened up and turned around.

I smiled at my parents. My dad came by my side and kissed my forehead.

“How are you Muffin?” My dad asked.

“I am much better dad. My arm is hurting but not like yesterday.” I assured him.

He then faced Kaden and a stern expression was replaced on his face. I tensed a little bit, my dad can be on a overprotective mode right now.

“So you are Kaden Ford.?” My dad asked Kaden.

“Yes Sir. It’s a pleasure to meet you. I wish we would have met in a better situation Sir.” Kaden said.

“ I want to thank you for Saving my daughter from the kidnappers, and bringing her to the hospital with my son and her friends.” Dad advanced his hand for Kaden to shake it.

I released a breath I didn’t even knew I was holding. I looked at Kaden as he took my Dad’s hand gave it a firm shake.

“I’ll see what the doctor has to say about her progress sir. So if you would excuse me.” Kaden said smiling politely at my Dad and Mom. I scoffed as if.

Kaden glared at me playfully and I giggled. When I looked at my Mom who was smiling teasingly at me. My eyes widened at this and a blush rose on my face. My dad was glaring at the door that Kaden left. Shit.

I am so dead. My mom is going to literally grill me with the questions.

KADEN’S POV:

Holy shit. I wiped my face for the sweat that had formed on my head. I am currently sitting at  Aanya’s Home and having a meeting with Mr. and Mrs. Williams.

Its been 10 days since I had met Them at the hospital. And now here I am telling them that I love their daughter. Fuck, it was so damn difficult. But it was a scene to watch.

As soon as I told them, Mrs. Williams started squealing already talking about babies, and Josh was looking at me proudly. While her Dad was a different chp. He had his poker face. I cant read him.

That’s why I am shitting balls here. Her dad is looking at me sternly. Finally he stood up and spoke, “Kaden, come and have walk with me”

Oh God! I stood up quickly and followed him outside.

“What are your intentions with my daughter, Kaden?” He asked. I knew this question would come.

“I am in very much love with your daughter Sir. We have had feelings for each other since high school sir. But due to some misunderstanding, we both were made to believe that the later is using us just for their advantage. That was the reason both us broke up everything we had and started hating each other.” I paused and took a deep breath and continued.

“We both have had our share of people thinking we could get over each other but actually we were just running from ourselves. I realizes that I cant stay away from Aanya even if I wanted to. I came here to you guys to seek your permission, Sir. I really love your daughter.” I say and look into his eyes so he can see my sincerity.

He shakes his head and smiles at me. I knew he approved of me. I am so happy and relieved that her family has approved  me. Now there is just one thing I have to ask them and I hope they say yes.
