CHAPTER 8

AANYA'S POV

After completing all the formalities with Mr. Richardson we left the building and while in the lift Joey thought it would be the best time to speak.

"Ma'am how about we sit and discuss how are we going to go through the strategies.?"

If looks could kill I swear he would be 6 feet underground. I was literary glaring at him that bad.

Kaden's presenter spoke, "That's a great idea. In this way we will be able to start as soon as possible. How about we go and talk at a café Kaden?"

"If she doesn't have any problem than its fine with me." Kaden answered.

I gave Joey a killing look and said I was okay with it.

"Oh and Ms. Aanya I am Zack, the main architect in our firm" Zack said while holding out his hand.

"Its nice meeting you Zack." I said while shaking hands.

"I must say you have very beautiful eyes. Dark and deep. Black's anyways my fav color" Zack said, or should I say flirted with me. God. "Thank you very much Zack." I said with a small smile. We entered a café just outside the building and sat together to discuss.

We all ordered some things and were waiting for our food to come. At that time Zack said, "Ms. Aanya and Kaden how are we going to start?"

"We can meet in one of the office start with designs." Joey said, looking at me.

"I don't have a problem with that. So lets meet at..." I started but Kaden interrupted me and said, "At my office tomorrow."

"Excuse me. I was speaking. You did not just cut me in between." I said getting angry. Who does he think he is. No one interrupts me when I am talking.

"Oh! But I did." He answered while smirking.

"Why are we going to meet at your office? Why can't it be mine?" I asked angrily.

"Because.. Ms. Williams, if I remember correctly then Mr. Richardson gave me and my firm the contract to design the exterior. Without the exterior there is no interior. So that's why my office not yours." He said with a smug look on his face. Uhh!!! I hate it when he is right.

"So, you could always bring it down to my office." I countered, even though I know I didn't have a chance to win this conversation.

"Aanya he has a valid point. Its only logical if we go to his office to work." Joey said.

"That's right Joey. At least someone's smart in the two of you" Kaden said smirking.

Holy fu*king sh*t. That as*hole. He didn't just called me Dumb. God! how am I going to tolerate this guy. As I was about to kill him, like literally Zack started speaking

"Kaden can I talk to you for a minute please." He dragged him out.

KADEN'S POV.

Zack literarily dragged me out of the café and started whisper yelling at me, "What the hell Kaden. What's wrong with you?"

I pointed a finger on me and askes him, "Me? What? What have I done?"

"Why are you being so rude with her?" He asked.

"I am being rude with her? Didn't you see how she is talking to me? How come you are not seeing that she is so rude." I said while getting frustrated.

"No Kaden. I am not able see what you mean. You have to stop with those sarcastic comments of yours. We have to work together anyways now. Either you like it not. So be professional." My so called best friend said. If some one else would have been in his place, he would be getting a resignation by now. Why does he care how I talk to her anyways.

"Yeah fine. Whatever. Let's get this over with" I said and we went inside.

AANYA'S POV.

They both finally came back and took their seats, and Zack spoke, "So Ms. Aanya how about we meet tomorrow at 3 after lunch at our office?" He asked.

"Tomorrow? I am sorry but I have my meetings lined up for the full day. How about Saturday?" I said.

"I am busy in the morning. My meeting will go till 3, so how about at 4 on Saturday?" Kaden said.

"Good with me. So I'll be taking a leave, I have some work at office. It was nice meeting you Zack. Mr. Ford." I smiled at Zack and gave Kaden a nod and left.

Friday came and went just like that. With all the meeting happened that day, it was hectic day to say at least. And Saturday came earlier than I wanted.

**SATURDAY AFTER LUNCH.**

"Joey, lets go." I said to Joey. Kaden office was ½ hr away from my office, so we were leaving at 3.25.

"yes Aanya. I have all the things we might need there." Joey said while we were walking out of the building. I smiled at him. He is very sweet guy and is a good Friend.

We reached Kaden office with five 5 mins spare. His Secretary came and took us to the conference room where he and Zack were waiting.

"Ms. Aanya. Its nice to meet you again. I was waiting for you." He said grinning at me.

"Even I was looking forward to me you again Zack" I said smiling. He is a smooth flirt, I gotta give him that.

"So Ms. Williams, shall we start." Kaden said and my smile started to go back to my business face. "Of course Mr. Ford."

"So as we are going to design the exterior, there are some ideas related to the concept which they have approved. Zack can you call them inside so they can show us their ideas." Kaden said.

"Yup." Zack answered making a call to someone.

2 people came in and sat with us. They explained their ideas and designs to us. I was looking at it as much technically as possible because at the end when you go on the site these technicalities are going to help. I always like to be sure of what I am doing as Architect.

After they left, we discussed about it and fought almost every where, but Zack and Joey were there to sort us out. Well, all in all it was a hell lot of work and I just wanted to go home and take a bath and sleep.

Almost at 7, I left his office and went home. After reaching home, I straight away went to take a shower. After 20 mins of calm shower, I wrapped a towel around me and walked out and went to my walk in wardrobe, to search for something comfortable to wear. I took out my pajamas and Ben's shirt. Hehe.. I still remember it when I stole it while he was staying here. I laid it down on my bed and was about to turn when two arms circled around my waist from behind. I started yelling and that person started swirling me.

And then the person started laughing, its then I realized that its Ben. When I turn to glare at him, I found him on the floor laughing his ass of.

"Ben you fu*king as*hole. Why the fu*k would you do that. I thought it was a criminal or something." When I said that, he started laughing more. After a minute later, he stood up with his eyes full of water and came to me and hugged me mumbling a sorry. Before I could say anything, he took my clothes from the bed and ran to the other side if the bed.

"Ben I swear to God if you don't give me my clothes back ill..." what would I do.. Uhhh,!!!

Ben smirked, "Then what? Huh.. What will you do?" He said while going back towards my wardrobe. I was looking at him confused, why was he going there. Next thing I know he locked my wardrobe and ran out of my room. "Ben.. Come back here. Give me clothes back you idiot." I said while running outside holding my towel for dear life. Once I get a hand on him he is so fu*cking dead.

He was literally running in my apt from one side to other. I was chasing him all around and couldn't catch him. That's how Sapphire found us when she entered my apt. She started laughing looking at me. I just sighed. Yup that's my best friend, who will laugh at me rather than helping me get my clothes back.

"Saph come on help me.!! Don't just sit there and laugh" I yelled at her. And she started laughing more.

"Aanya this is something I don't get to see everyday. You in a towel and all mess and then there's Ben who is running from you. Although its nothing new but still Ben I Love You for doing this." She give Ben a flying kiss. After 15 mins of running after Ben I got tired, so I just huffed and sat on the couch. Ben came and sat opposite to me, clearly looking tired from all the running. And when I thought I don't want to stand up there was a knock on the door. I groaned and was about to stand up when Ben came in front of me with his mischievous smirk. I instantly knew I was going to be dead.

"No Ben." I said and started to going to open the door. Ben came in front of me and said, "Lets play the game." He said still smirking. Oh I knew this game. When we were in the hostel rooms and someone would come and knock at the door, Ben and one of the us would pretend to be in middle of a heated session. You know the normal. Dishevel hair and smudged lipstick and a Ben without shirt. So the person on the other side of the door would be so embarrassed and just flushed. It was damn hilarious to see their faces.

"No freaking way Ben. Its not hostel, its my home. What if someone I knew came?" I said.

"Come on Aanya. You're the one saying no? God! You were always up for this game." Ben said.

"Ya.. But not now. But I would do it if Sapphire's the one going to the door with you." I said while smiling innocently at Saph.

"No way. You are the one with nothing but a towel on you. So its you. I will be in the kitchen." She walked away from us, as Ben ruffled my hair and went to open the door.

I sat there waiting for ben to open the door. After 3-4 mins he motioned his hand to come. I went and without looking at who it was, I wrapped my hands around him from the behind.

"Ben Darling, come back. What's taking you so long?" I said in the most flirty way I could yet keeping it decent. "Yes babe. Just give me a minute. Yeah." He said.

"No. Come back right now. I want you to finish what you started." I said and looked at the person at the door to see if they were embarrassed enough, because no one had uttered a word nor shuttered, like the reaction we normally get. When I saw who it was, to say I was shocked would be an understatement.
