111 Audition

“Director Cheng Yang, how was it?” Jin Shi, who was sitting beside her, asked.

Cheng Yang shook her head. “Mr. Jin, do you want me to make your girlfriend the female lead of our movie? It’s quite a stretch.”

“Director Cheng, don’t say that. I’m not asking for a special route in.” Jin Shi laughed teasingly. “I’m just asking you for a chance. Otherwise, I won’t hear the end of it from her.”

Cheng Yang was bewildered. This top celebrity was different. He had pushed his girlfriend into the audition, but did not use his power to let her pass.

Luo Ying had already changed into her ballet shoes in advance. She slowly walked in and bowed to the judges.

When Cheng Yang saw Luo Ying, her eyes lit up.

When she auditioned for Music Center, she thought that this girl had great potential. She didn’t expect her to come for an audition.

“I’m Luo Ying.” She looked at the judges and slowly bowed.

She had learned ballet before, so she was very clear about the etiquette in ballet.

Jin Shi also looked at her with interest.

“Alright, we can start now,” Cheng Yang said.

Luo Ying’s performance did not disappoint Cheng Yang.

She didn’t start with her lines like the other actors who had auditioned before. Instead, she jumped a little and seemingly stumbled while doing so. She sat on the ground and started to say her lines while holding her legs.

The lines here were the soliloquy of the female protagonist after she received a lashing from her teacher. It was to portray her feelings of loss and confusion.

Luo Ying added a small dance for herself, showing her confusion.

When she started to read her lines, her voice gradually changed from disappointment to determination, and her eyes gradually brightened.

It was as if a person in a desperate situation had finally seen hope.

The staff and the other judges held their breath as they watched Luo Ying’s performance. Cheng Yang looked at the girl’s face on the monitor and couldn’t stop smiling.

They always needed someone solid to be take the leading role.

After Luo Ying’s performance, she stood up and bowed to the judges.

When she looked at Jin Shi, he was only looking at his script.

Luo Ying was a little disappointed. Evidently, this man was not her third brother.

“Alright, you can go out and wait for the results now. Good luck.” Cheng Yang said to Luo Ying with a smile.

She had already chosen Luo Ying as the female lead, but she still needed to talk it over with the others.

Luo Ying had just walked out of the door when she heard a scream from the crowd outside.

“What’s wrong with you? Do you know how much my clothes cost?” Luo Ying frowned and looked at the crowd. In the middle of the crowd, she saw Min Yu, who was covering her face.

The person standing beside her was Han Min.

Jin Shi had been in the industry for many years and was rarely involved in scandals. Apparently, he and Han Min were already in the talks of marriage.

Han Min was not some insignificant lady. Her family was very rich, and her mother was a famous manager in the industry who had a lot of resources.

However, this royalty of the entertainment industry didn’t want to be a manager like her mother. Instead, she wanted to go on stage and become an artiste, who was in the limelight.

She wasn’t good at singing and dancing, and her acting skills were average. However, she had a lot of connections and resources.

At that moment, she was frowning at Min Yu. There was a green tea stain on her white dress.

“You’re just a fledgling composer. How dare you pour water on me?” Han Min said.

Simple insults did not seem to be enough to vent her anger. She reached out, grabbed Min Yu’s hair, and pushed her to the ground. “Apologize to me, understood?”

Min Yu’s hair and clothes were in a mess. She bit her lip and allowed Han Min to humiliate her in front of the crowd.

A few people wanted to stop her, but they were also pulled away.

“You shouldn’t offend Han Min. You know what kind of person her mother is.”

“Min Yu is skilled and popular, but Han Min’s mother could end her overnight, right?”

“Don’t meddle in other people’s business. Han Min’s boyfriend is one of the judges for this audition. We can’t afford to offend Jin Shi.”

Luo Ying heard their discussion and snorted in her heart. She stepped forward and grabbed Han Min’s hand when her slap was about to land on Min Yu’s face.
