Twenty-Four

"Where are we going?" I asked Xav who was still driving.

"My penthouse,where else?" I frowned.

"I thought we were going to my place" I said voicing my thoughts as he scoffed.

"I don't like your house. Mines better" he says and I scowled at him.

"I want us to go to my house" I growled out feeling my demon side start to surface.

"And I said no" he says not looking at me and only focusing on the road.

"Shut u--" he starts but is interrupted by Callum talking in his sleep.

"Daddy be quiwte" he mumbled around his thumb.

I kiss his curly white locks.

"I'm sorry baby. Daddy is sorry. Go back to sleep" I whispered gruffly.

"Fine we'll go to your house" I said defeated as it becomes awkwardly silent again.

Upon arriving at his penthouse, I get out as Xav rounded the car to open my door.

I ignore him trying to help me with Cal as I walked inside his penthouse mansion and walked up to Callum's room.

I lay the sweet boy down and take off his shoes and pull the duvet over him.

He stuck his thumb in his mouth and I pulled it out softly replacing it with a pacifier before he can start whining in his sleep.

He looked so cute.

I walked out and go downstairs seeing Xavier talking on his phone.

His eyes meet mine and he hangs up the call.

I ignore him calling my name as I wanted to make it to the front door to leave when he suddenly pushes me to the closed door holding my shirt.

"Hey,the hell is wrong with you?!" He says and I easily push him away.

"Leave me alone Xavier" I said darkly as I go to leave the house again.

"No!just tell me what the fuck is your problem" he tries again pulling at my elbow.

I suddenly feel anger course through me.

I grab him by the front of his shirt,pushing him up the wall of the front door.

"You wanna know what my fucking problem is?its you. You are my fucking problem. You make it seem like you are the only one that can provide for Callum" I hold him hard against the wall,forcefully hitting his body against it once.

"Well news flash Xavier. I can too. You're fucking unfair to me. He's my mate too you know. I love him just as much as you, perhaps even more. But I can't fucking show him when he's always here" I snapped in his face.

He flinched unnoticeably as i felt a bit guilty for yelling.

"Lucio?Lucion?" Xav says snapping out of my train of thoughts.

"Huh?" I asked dumbfounded as he does something completely unexpected.

He pulls my head down slightly and attached our lips in a heated kiss!!!

I responded almost immediately, my tongue,hungrily licking his bottom lip as I Bob my head slightly and he follows in pursuit.

I pushed him against the wall slightly as his hands rakes over my body gripping the side of my suit shirt.

His hands come up onto my neck and I gripped his ass through his pants.

He moaned softly against my lips before he pushes me slightly on the chest leaning against my shoulder breathing heavily.
