Never Mess With a Ballerina

Unexpected Surprises

Chapter Nineteen

"Prince!" A huge grin spread across Zoe's face as she noticed Caleb. She dropped her gym bag and ran across the room and jumped into Caleb's awaiting arms.

"How was practice Princess?" Immediately she started going on about her dance recital and how excited she was to be the lead.

"Cale I'm going to go grab Joey." He nodded before quickly turning And pecking my lips. I blushed as I took in all the glares from the other Wolf-moms.

My wolf growled at the lust-filled looks Caleb was getting from the married woman in the room. How disgusting! Ugh hello, you have children and you're married ladies!

I let out a quiet growl knowing they would all hear. Immediately they turned away and began whispering to each other. I rolled my eyes and made my way out of the room and down the hall towards the baseball field.

"Hey Jacob!" I called out as I reached the baseball field. He quickly ran up to me and gave me a hug making me squeal out in suprise.

"Ari why do you smell like Caleb?" Jake growled pulling away. My wolf growled at the way he spat out our mates name making me frown.

"We... we uh made up?" I muttered chewing on my bottom lip. He let out another growl as he grabbed onto my wrist. "You made up! He's hurt you so many times Ariana! You need someone better! Someone like - YOU'RE hurting me!" I interrupted pushing him away.

"I don't need anyone other than my mate, Jacob. " I glared at him as I walked away rubbing my already bruising wrist.

"Mommy!" My head snapped up as I took in my boy with his dirty uniform and his bat held awkwardly as He ran up to me. I quickly pushed down my sleves hoping the bruises would heal fast so Caleb wouldn't see.

I knew Jacob was disappointed in me but he would never intentionally hurt me. "Jo! How was practice baby?" I grinned easily picking him up in my arms.

"It was so much fun! I made a home run and I won chocolate!" He smirked making me remember of Caleb when he smirked.

"Did you eat it?" I asked raising my brow. He quickly shook his head and jumped out of my arms and grabbed ahold of his gym bag.

"I saved one for you and one for Zoey!" He grinned handing me a Hershey's oreo chocolate. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his small body and crushed him to my chest.

"I love you."

"I love you too mommy." He smiled kissing my cheek.

"Now come on. Zoe's waiting for us with ... Caleb." I bit my lip waiting for his reaction.

He nodded before grabbing his bag And grabbing a hold of my hand. "Lets go then." He smiled showing off his dimples.

"You're okay with him?" I asked as we made our way across the field to the doors. I could feel Jacob glaring at me but I refused to look at him.

I didn't want to feel bad about the way I felt about Caleb. I loved him and nothing was going to change that. Not time. Not distance. Nothing.

"Well you like him mommy.... and he's my dad, right?" He asked glancing up at me as he held open the door.

I chuckled and quickly walked through the door and thanked him for being a gentleman.

"And yes I really really like him. And he loves you and Zoe so much." I added grabbing Joey's gym bag from him as we stood two doors away from the ballet room.

"Then I'm okay with him... but no more crying... okay mommy." I blushed but nodded my head. I grabbed his hand and we made our way into the room.

Joey and I burst out laughing making Caleb lose his balance and fall on his bumm.

"What are you wearing! " Joey burst pointing at a blushing Caleb.

"It's .... a.." he stuttered as he set his hands on his waist making us burst out laughing again.

"Nice tutu." I winked making him blush even more.

"Zoey and Natalia are scary." He pouted as he wrapped his arm around me and ran his nose up my neck making me giggle.

"Joey!" All of our heads snapped to the back of the room where Zoe and Natalia were skipping over to us.

"Hi poppy." Joey blushed as Natalia smiled up at him with her own blush. "Why don't you join us?" She asked with a hopeful smile holding up another pink tutu. Joey paled and looked up at me and Caleb.

Caleb quietly chuckled as I shrugged. "Uhhh... - he'd love to! Right Jo?" Zoe smirked inconspicuously winking at Caleb.

"Right." He glared at zoe as Nat showed him how to put it on. I tsked at Zoe and Caleb before walking to the back of the room.

"What are you doing?" Caleb called out.

"Starting the music." I smirked as the girls led the boys to the barre.

"No, mommy.... I can't do that. " Joey spat making the girls glare at him. "Ballet is really hard!" Nat frowned crossing her small arms across her chest.

"No... I mean... ballet is easier than actual sports." Immediately Joey could tell that was the worse thing he could possibly say.

"Ballet takes time and it hurts our toes! All you have to do is hit a ball!" Zoe yelled her face turning slightly red in anger.

"Princess he didn't mean it like that, Right Joey?" Joey quickly nodded and mumbled a sorry to the girls.

"No I want him to try and do a en-pointe."

"What's that?" Both boys asked giving the girls a freaked out expression.

"Mommy can you do it with us." I nodded and made my way to the barre.

"En-pointe is where you stand on the very tip of your toes." I explained taking off my shoes. "And you stand very tall." I breathed in and quickly jumped on the tip of my toes with the girls following after.

"Holy... I can't do that!" Caleb muttered throwing his bumm on the floor.

"Sorry bud you're on your own." Caleb chuckled as the girls stared him down with their hands on their hips.

"They are scary." I giggled sitting next to Caleb. I purred in content as he pulled me in closer to his chest.

"Mommy...."

"You dug yourself in this." I shook my head motioning to continue. He grumbled but turned anyways.

After the fifth try, we decided he had enough.

"I .... am.... never.... messing... with .... ballet again." He breathed out. I rolled my eyes And picked him up just as Ms. Cornell strolled into the room.

"Oh! Sorry I came to lock up." She informed us holding up some keys.

"Hello Alpha Caleb." She blushed tucking her hair behind her ear. I gave a slight growl making her turn her attention back on me.

"Oh right.. I'm closing up." She blushed. I nodded and put Joey down as Caleb grabbed three gym bags.

As we made our way out I couldn't help but glance back at her. She had dirty blonde hair, bright blue eyes and the figure of a ballerina. No suprise there she was an actual ballerina.

"I didn't know you did ballet." Caleb grinned as he wrapped his arm around my waist. "It was a while ago." I replied keeping my eyes on the trio in front of us.

Joey and Caleb made sure to rip those tutu's off as soon as they could.

"Why'd you stop? You looked pretty hot back there." He whispered running his nose up my neck. My eyes shut in bliss before they snapped back open. "Caleb stop that! " I chuckled slapping his shoulder.

"I wasn't that good anyways." I lied opening my car door. "Nat is your mommy on her way?" I frowned looking around the abandoned parking lot.

"She .. ummm... no." She stuttered staring at Zoe with wide eyes. "What's wrong?" Caleb jumped in. "Nothing!" Nat quickly replied. "Can Nat come with us for a little pleeeease?" Zoe pleaded widening her eyes. I sighed but nodded pulling out an old car seat I had for Zoe.

"I'll call your mom when we get to the house." She slowly nodded and turned back to the twins.

I shut the door and turned back to a frowning Caleb. Before I could ask what was wrong I caught the scent of cherries.... Sarah. "Babe! What are you doing with that!" She spat out standing across from us.

I nervously looked back to the car to see Zoe looking at Sarah. "Get rid of her." I growled before walking around the car and jumping in. "Prince isn't coming?"

"He'll be at the house.." I assured her as I pulled out of the parking lot.

"I hope." I whispered staring at the rearview mirror.

Authors note- not my very best but I've been super tired. I'm also about to go to work so enjoy lol

And yes Ariana wants her family together but she will make Caleb work his pretty little bum.
