♡ Part - 22 ♡

YoU ArE OnLy MiNe || YOONMIN~FF

The Min mansion was quiet in the early morning. Mr. Min sat comfortably in the living room, reading the newspaper, while Mrs. Min hummed softly, sipping her tea.

"Honey, we made a good decision for our son, right?" Mrs. Min asked, placing her cup down and looking at her husband.

Mr. Min folded his newspaper and glanced at his wife with a knowing smile. "Yes, darling. If our son gets married, he'll finally gain some sense—learn what it means to spend time with loved ones instead of drowning himself in work all the time. I think Chim is the only boy who can change him, love him, and make him realize that life is more than just business and solitude."

Mrs. Min nodded excitedly, her eyes sparkling. "I'm thinking the same! Chim is such a sweet, loving boy. If anyone can bring warmth into our son's cold heart, it's him. But where is that idiot? We need to tell him about his marriage. I'm sure he'll be happy after knowing this—our Chim is so beautiful, no one can resist his charm." She clapped her hands together as if she were already picturing their son falling in love with Jimin.

Mr. Min chuckled at his wife’s enthusiasm. "Okay, darling, but before that, I’m hungry. Can you please make breakfast first?" He whined dramatically.

Mrs. Min rolled her eyes playfully and blew him a flying kiss. "Okay, my dear lovely husband. But you better compliment my cooking later!"

Just as she was about to head to the kitchen, there was a knock at the door.

Mrs. Min frowned. "Who could it be this early?" She walked over to open the door, and the moment she saw who it was, her eyes widened in shock and surprise.

"Yoongi!" she gasped.

Her son stood there, looking tired but very much present. Before he could say anything, Mrs. Min threw her arms around him, pulling him into a tight hug.

Yoongi, caught off guard, stumbled slightly but soon hugged her back, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

"Where were you, huh?!" Mrs. Min scolded, still holding onto him. "You don’t love me anymore, do you? You don’t care about your mom and dad, right?" She pulled back just enough to cup his face, her eyes filled with love but also frustration.

Yoongi sighed. "No, Mum, it's not like that. I love you, and of course, I care about you both. It's just… some important work came up, and I got busy with that."

Mrs. Min narrowed her eyes. "Important work that kept you away from home for a whole month?!"

By now, Mr. Min had also stood up from his seat, watching the interaction. The moment he saw his son, his features softened, and without a second thought, he walked up and pulled Yoongi into a firm hug.

Yoongi stood stiff for a moment but then relaxed, his father’s warmth unfamiliar yet comforting.

"You're finally back," Mr. Min muttered.

Yoongi nodded. "Yeah… I’m back."

They all sat down in the living room, Yoongi sinking into the couch as Mrs. Min continued to stare at him, scrutinizing his face.

"What is this important work that took you a whole month to complete, huh?" Mr. Min questioned, his voice laced with disappointment. "You didn’t even answer our calls properly. Did that work matter more than your parents?"

Yoongi ran a hand through his hair, sighing. "Dad, it’s not like that. I know I should've visited earlier, but things got hectic." He hesitated before adding, "Anyway, now I’m here, so don’t worry. I’m not going anywhere…" He mumbled the last part under his breath, hoping they wouldn’t catch it.

Mrs. Min, however, was still observing him carefully.

"You look so pale, baby," she said, her voice immediately shifting to concern. She reached out to cup his cheek, frowning. "What happened? Are you okay?"

Yoongi leaned into her touch for a brief second before pulling away. "Mum, you know how much work I have. I’ve just been exhausted, that’s all. Don’t worry, I’ll be fine after some rest."

Mrs. Min sighed but didn’t push further. Instead, she patted his hand. "Okay, okay… Now, go upstairs and take a bath. Then come downstairs for breakfast, alright? We’ll eat together."

Yoongi nodded. "Alright, Mum."

As he stood up and made his way upstairs, Mrs. Min turned to her husband. "Honey… we need to tell him about the marriage soon. I don’t want him to shut himself away again."

Mr. Min nodded in agreement. "Yes. After breakfast, we’ll tell him."

Little did they know… Yoongi had no idea what was waiting for him.

The dining room was peaceful as the Min family sat for breakfast. Yoongi, exhausted and already in a foul mood, ate his food in silence, barely listening to his parents' chatter—until his mother dropped a bombshell.

"Yoon baby, we fixed your marriage."

Yoongi, mid-bite, choked violently on his food, his eyes widening in shock. He coughed, grabbing a glass of water while his heart pounded in his chest. Did he hear that right?!

"What?" Yoongi shouted, slamming his hand on the table, looking at his mother like she had lost her mind.

Mr. Min, unfazed, calmly took a sip of his tea. "Yes, son."

Yoongi’s anger spiked. His blood boiled as frustration rushed through his veins. He was already at his limit—unable to find his Jimin, dealing with endless stress, and now this?

"What the hell is this, Dad?!" Yoongi snapped, pushing his chair back as he stood. "How can you do this to me? I’m your son, not some pawn for you to play with! I’m an adult, I have the right to make my own decisions! You can’t just fix my marriage like this without even asking me!"

Mr. Min’s calm demeanor turned cold as he set his utensils down. He glared at his son, his voice dropping into a dangerous tone. "Lower your voice, Min Yoongi. Don’t forget, I am your father, not one of your employees that you can shout at. And as for the marriage—you will do it. We have made our decision."

Yoongi clenched his fists so tightly his nails dug into his palms. His jaw tightened as he tried to contain the rage bubbling inside him.

"Dad, please… I can’t do this. I don’t even know the person you’re marrying me to," he said through gritted teeth, his voice quieter but filled with restrained anger.

Mr. Min didn’t even flinch. "My words are final." He picked up his spoon and resumed eating as if the conversation was over.

Yoongi’s breathing grew heavy. "How do you expect me to marry someone I’ve never met?"

"It doesn’t matter." Mr. Min’s voice was firm. "The wedding is next week. Be ready."

With that, he stood, leaving Yoongi fuming in frustration. In his anger, Yoongi kicked the table hard, making the plates clatter. His mother sighed, walking over to him.

She placed a gentle hand on his back. "Son, you'll like the boy when you see him. He's sweet and beautiful. And remember, we are your parents—we will never do something that isn't good for you." Her voice was soft, soothing, but it only made Yoongi's anger spike further.

"Mom, I can't do this," Yoongi whispered, his voice laced with sadness.

Mrs. Min cupped his cheek, looking at him with love. "You have to, baby. We gave them our word. We can't back out now. Trust me, this boy will take care of you, love you, and stay by your side forever." She kissed his forehead before leaving, letting him stew in his emotions.

As soon as she was gone, Yoongi let out a low, bitter laugh.

"I hate you, whoever you are," he muttered, his jaw clenching in anger. His eyes darkened as he smirked to himself.

"I promise, I'm going to make your life a living hell." His voice dripped with venom. "I only love my doll. No one else."

His smirk widened into something dangerous.

"Just one month. In one month, I'll make you beg for a divorce. Whoever you are… get ready."

But as soon as he thought of his only love, the smirk faded. His heart clenched painfully. He missed Jimin more than anything.

And after this damn marriage, he was going to find him.

No matter what it took.

The Min mansion was quiet after the storm of emotions left behind in the dining room. Yoongi sat alone, his fingers tightly gripping the edge of the table. His parents had left him no choice, and that infuriated him more than anything.

Marriage? To someone else?

His blood boiled at the thought. How could they do this to him? His life was already tangled in a mess, and now they expected him to settle down with some stranger?

His phone buzzed in his pocket. Pulling it out, he saw a message from his right-hand man, Seokjin.

Mark: We’ve checked all areas you mentioned. No trace of him yet.

Yoongi’s teeth are clenched. It had been weeks since he last saw Jimin. His frustration only grew. He had searched every possible place Jimin could have gone, but he kept slipping away like a ghost.

“Doll… where the hell are you?” Yoongi muttered under his breath, his hand tightening into a fist.

But then his mind shifted back to the upcoming marriage.

His smirk returned. "Fine. I'll play along with this stupid game, but I’ll make sure this marriage won’t last a month."

He grabbed his phone and typed a reply to Mark:

Yoongi: Keep looking. I don’t care how long it takes. Find him.

Jimin sat in his bedroom, staring out of the window, lost in deep thought.

The news of his marriage had shaken him to the core. Everything was happening so fast—too fast. Just days ago, he was living his normal routine, attending university, and now he was set to marry a stranger.

He sighed, biting his lip.

But then, a small smile appeared on his face as he thought about his family.

Jin and Namjoon had done so much for him. They had given him love, care, and a home—things he had never experienced in his life before. He owed them everything.

"If this marriage makes them happy… then I should go through with it, right?"

And maybe—just maybe—this marriage could also be an escape from the mafia leader who had turned his life upside down. If he married someone else, wouldn’t that mean he was off-limits?

"Wouldn’t that mean Suga can’t touch me anymore?"

His heart tightened at the thought of the man who had haunted his mind for weeks.

"It’s for the best."

A knock on the door pulled him from his thoughts.

"Chim, can I come in?" Taehyung’s soft voice echoed through the door.

Jimin turned, quickly composing himself. "Yeah, Tae, come in."

Taehyung entered, a bright smile on his face as he sat beside Jimin on the bed.

"So, how do you feel? You’re getting married too! We’ll be married in the same house, Chim! Isn’t that amazing?" Taehyung said excitedly, nudging his best friend’s shoulder.

Jimin chuckled softly. "Yeah, it’s… unexpected."

Taehyung’s smile faded slightly as he observed Jimin’s expression. "Are you sure you’re okay with this?"

Jimin hesitated, but then he nodded. "Yeah, I am. If my parents are happy with it, then I’m happy too."

Taehyung still looked unsure but decided not to press further. He pulled Jimin into a warm hug. "No matter what, I’ll always be by your side, Chim. You know that, right?"

Jimin smiled, hugging him back. "I know, Tae. Thank you."

In night Jimin sat quietly on his bed, lost in thought. His fingers absentmindedly traced patterns on the blanket as a whirlwind of emotions swirled inside him.

"Am I really making the right choice?"

The knock on his door startled him, pulling him from his thoughts. Before he could respond, the door creaked open, revealing Jin and Namjoon.

"Oh… Dad and Appa."

Jimin quickly composed himself and offered them a small smile. They walked inside, each taking a seat beside him, sandwiching him between them.

Namjoon gently placed a hand on Jimin’s back, rubbing soothing circles. “Chim, are you okay?” he asked softly, concern evident in his voice.

Jimin nodded. “Yes, Dad, I’m fine.”

Namjoon let out a relieved sigh and pulled Jimin into a side hug. “Thank you so much, my son. I love you, and I’m so happy that you trust us enough to agree to this marriage.”

Jimin leaned into the hug, closing his eyes for a moment. "I love you both so much, Dad. Of course, I trust you. You’re my parents… whatever you decide for me will always be good."

Jin smiled at his words, his eyes filled with warmth. He reached out, cupping Jimin’s cheek before placing a gentle kiss on his forehead. “Yes, baby, you deserve all the happiness in the world.”

"Yes, Chim. Don’t worry. I’m sure he’s good for you." Jin said with a loving smile.

And for the first time in days, Jimin felt a little bit lighter.

---

One Week Until the Wedding…

Preparations for the grand wedding had already begun. The Kim and Min families were excited, making arrangements for the big day.

But as the days passed, two hearts remained trapped in uncertainty.

Jimin, trying to convince himself that this was the right decision.

And Yoongi, preparing to destroy the marriage before it even began.

Little did they know…

That fate was already pulling them together.
