Selena’s POV

We reached to our house and before I could register anything, Adam picked me up bridal style from the car and took me towards the house. The cold air hurt my open wounds and I shivered. I didn’t want to come home and face my brothers. I silently sobbed into Adam’s chest.

“Hey Ad-....why the fuck is my sister all fucking beaten and bruised... ” I heard Blake get angry but I refused to look up at him.

Adam ignored him and took me inside.

“Dude fucking answer me why is she covered in bed sheets with blood” Blake followed us shouting. We walked into the living room to see that all my brothers were there. I looked up to see all of them with a pissed and worried look on their face.

“Lena, what the fuck happened” John spoke while coming towards me. I couldn’t keep it in myself any longer I got out of Adams hold and ran to John. I cried my heart out and I screamed. I just let it all out.

John picked me up and took me to the sofa and put me in his lap.

“Tell me what happened. Why the fuck is your body covered in bruises and where are your clothes. Answer me for gods sake” By now all my friends were in the room and I started to tell them.

“Colton he...he” I broke out crying.

“Lena for god sake just say it” John spoke to me in a irritated voice which made me even more scared than I already was.

“HE FUCKING RAPED ME OKAY..... he raped me.....” After that all I heard was my brothers go mad.

“That fucking asshole will regret touching you. I will fucking kill him” Ben was so angry it scared me. Never in my life had I seen my brothers this angry. Even the twins were beyond mad and they never showed this side of them.

I looked at all of them and told them everything. From the day he forced me to be his girlfriend to tonight.

I cried so much after telling them. I never wanted it to turn out this way.

“I never wanted to bring shame to you guys...I love you guys too much”

“Lena if you loved us you would know that we wouldn’t have hated you for it...yeah you made a stupid mistake... but why didn’t you tell us” John looked so broken.

We all turned our heads towards the door when we heard someone shouting. Cole brought Colton into the room. He didn’t even make it past the door when Adam went and punched him. He kept hitting him without even stopping. My brothers all pushed Adam away and he sat on the seat next to me. My brothers all started to beat up Colton. You could hear him scream in pain but despite that they kept beating him up.

“STOP...JUST STOP...just stop” I couldn’t take this any longer. Everyone stopped and turned to look at me.

“Get him out of our house. I don’t want to see you ever again Colton just leave.” It was silent until we all heard a gunshot. Blake had shot Colton in his leg. He screamed in more pain and to be honest I couldn’t care.

“You fucker why the fuck did you shoot me.”

“Your lucky I didn’t kill you. Don’t think that I would hesitate to kill you.” Blake’s voice was filled with pure hate.

“You can’t fucking kill me because guess what. I slept with your oh so beloved sister. And if I remember correctly a certain prophecy may be fulfilled.” Prophecy?

Ben punched Colton in the face and they threw him out of the house.

When everyone sat down it was quiet no one dared to speak.

“Blake...what prophecy”

All my brothers exchanged looks and all of them went quiet.

“What the hell is he talking about, what prophecy....guys can you tell me” All of them gave me a look which was filled with regret and shame.

“Lena, its nothing” John looked at me and I knew he was lying.

“Why are you lying to me. You just said that I should have come clean to you because we trust each other... but here you are hiding something from me...why?” I tried my best not to cry

“Its complicated and you might not believe us”

“John then explain it to me. I want to know what he was talking about especially if it involves me”

“Do you want us guys to leave” Jacob asked my brothers. All of them looked at me. If it was do with me then I wanted my friends to be here for this.

“I think its better if they leave”

“Adam my friends can stay here if they want, its my house” Who was he to tell them to leave.

“Its a risky for them to know” He gave me brothers a look.

“They are staying and it’s final” I didn’t even bother looking for his reaction.

John had started to speak and the room went dead quiet.

“You have to promise not to speak until I am done okay” I nodded my head and he continued.

“The first thing I want to tell you is that...um...we...are...wizards” WHAT THE FUDGE!!!!!

“Your joking right. John this isn’t Wizards of Waverly Place”

“I’m not joking Selena, I know this a big thing but you have to believe me”

“No John I don’t believe you there is no such thing as wizards”

“Watch this then” The next thing I did not see coming. John suddenly had a ball of fire in his hands.

“I...uh...fire...hand.” I was shocked...wait shocked would be an understatement.

“Why did you not tell me this. Like what the hell. Who keeps a secret like this from someone. I honestly can’t believe you guys didn’t tell me.” I was so angry with them. They kept something this big from me my whole life.

“This is why I told you to stay quiet throughout this whole time. You are not letting me finish. I’m sorry we kept this from you but we had no choice” I simply stayed quiet. I still can’t get over this.

“This ‘prophecy’ thing started many generations ago. Dad’s side of the family were very powerful wizard Lord’s after the Royal Family...” John looked up at someone in the room. But I was caught up in the fact that my Dad maybe a wizard Lord and that there is a Royal Family. Whaaat????

“So that makes us Wizard Lord’s because we are pure blood from Dads generation. Anyways there once was a Lady in our family whose name was ‘Amethyst’. She was quite different from the rest of our family. When she was born, a very powerful wizard from the Royal family came to visit her and he told our family that she was destined to become one of the most powerful wizards of all times.

She was unique because she had a ‘mate’. Now a mate is something only the Royal Family has. Mates are people who you are made for, they are your other half and they complete you.

The rest of us wizards have a choice of choosing our other half, because if we still had mates and we didn’t get along with them we would have to reject them which is painful for both so to save us that, the elders gave us freedom. Expect the Royal family.

Amethyst had the ability to do almost anything and turn into anything. This already on her own made her the best. But when she was to find her mate together they would have become immortal and lift the curse which was put on the wizard world.

A curse was put on the wizard world when a man called Draco was banished from the wizard world. He was one of the 4 who had started the wizard world and brought all wizards and supernatural beings together.

Draco only wanted ‘wizards’ to live in this supernatural world they created. But the other 3 wizards disagreed and wanted all supernatural things to live together. Draco had tried many times to kill the other 3 wizards to take over the wizard world but he failed. So then he went and slept with one of the wife’s of 3 wizards and he had killed her after.

He was banished from the wizard world. But he cursed it, saying that no one can stay immortal all of you will taste death, slowly by each generation you will start to lose your powers. Soon the wizard world will not exist. Since he was banished he let demons from hell enter the wizard world. They caused so much destruction and still do.

So when Amethyst was born she was to lift this curse. However before finding her true mate she fell in love with a man, not knowing he was a demon. The thing about demons is that if they mate with someone who has a mate. It will kill that person.

So when this happened to Amethyst, she challenged Draco before dying, which later became the prophecy. She said that a girl from her lineage will be born and she will be the end of Draco and his curse. Her and her mate will together become immortal and they will save wizard world.

After she died when someone got pregnant in our family, most of them had miscarriages and the child would die. Everyone knew who was behind it all. So for many generations there were only boys.

Which brings you in the picture. When mum and dad got married they had us boys, but then in mum’s last pregnancy, her mother who was a important wizard as she was able to tell the future, told mum that she was having a girl. So mum and dad had left the wizard world for your safety. When you were born they were thrilled that you were going to be someone who will be our savior.

So when you were around 6 months mum and dad went back to the wizard world to visit. When they got there, Draco had obviously found out that mum had a girl and he killed both mum and dad. So grandma came to us and told us what happened. She also told us not to tell you anything to keep you safe. But recently Draco has found a way onto earth which is endangering you.

We don’t know what is going to happen. Honestly Lena we tried to keep you safe but we failed you and we’re sorry.” Woah.

I literally was finding it so hard to take this all in. My family are wizards. I’m a wizard.

“Honestly John, I just don’t know what to say to you right now. I am beyond hurt that you never told me something this big. You kept me in the dark. But I know your intentions were good but I’m just trying to take all this in right now. I can’t believe my whole life has been a lie. I just can’t”

“Lena, we only wanted to keep you save. Your life is so precious to us and we couldn’t put you in danger by telling you. It would only make things worse for you”

“I know. I’m just really shocked and hurt....”

Ash spoke first out of all my friends. “John won’t you get into trouble for exposing wizards. Like I mean in Wizards Of Waverly Place they got in trouble” This idiot thinks just like me.

“Not really considering only you 4 are non wizards in this room” Say what now. He only pointed at Jade, Chloe, Ash and Jacob.

“What do you mean only my friends? Did you forget Adam & Co” I got a few ‘hey what the hell’ from the guys because I didn’t say their names.

“Actually about that...Adam is from the Royal Family and so are the rest. So technically we won’t get into trouble” Adam is a ROYAL. WHAT.

My jaw dropped. This... stupid Adam... is a royal. Aren’t Royals supposed to be good? This boy makes the devil look stupid. He is a bad boy; royals are supposed to have manners and are good. Something which he is not.

“What.... You guys lied to me...” All my friends started bickering between each other about this damn revelation. I looked at one person in particular in the room.

My voice came out in a whisper.

“Cole...you...lied. After everything between us Cole...did it not matter” Did my friendship and trust not mean anything to him. He said to trust him. I told him my biggest secret.

He just looked down in shame. He avoided eye contact with me. I could feel my tears coming out. The one person I fully trusted lied to me. Okay I get it telling someone you’re a wizard is big but he could have trusted me with it.

“What happened between you two” Adam spoke with anger in his voice.

I simply ignored him and walked up to my bedroom.

I shut the door and cried. My whole life has been a lie.
