A Welcome Distraction 🌶️🌶️

Alpha's Scent

KYRIL

He was anxious to tell her what she deserved to hear.

Could he tell her the truth? Would she see him as a monster for his past sins?

“We were brought together as children,” Kyril said, finally telling Lilac the truth. Or part of it, anyway. “His real parents abandoned him at the edge of our territory when he was just six months old. My father stumbled upon him while scouting the borders.”

“Why would anyone abandon their baby?” Lilac asked, deeply worried.

“We never found out. My father showed mercy to the child and brought Zion home. He had intended only to shelter him from the cold before taking him to the demons, but the second my mother laid eyes on him she was convinced that Selene had brought him to us for a reason. From that day forth, Zion became part of our family.”

“You mean…”

“We were raised as brothers, and I loved him like one. But then...everything changed. Something happened, something terrible. I thought he died, but…the truth is worse. His hatred and anger lives on. He went after you, Lilac, because of me.”

Lilac

~Something happened, something terrible? What does he mean by that?~

Lilac looked at her melancholy mate. His stormy blue eyes were filled with remorse and despair.

She sighed at the sadness that channeled into her through their mating bond. It destroyed her to see him so upset.

Now wasn’t the time to probe for more answers, no matter how badly she wanted to know the full story.

Against her better judgment, Lilac naively ceased her questions and accepted the vague answers he had already given her.

He grabbed her hand and held it tightly, the faintest trace of a tear forming on the edge of his eye.

“I almost lost you,” he confessed.

“I promised that I would protect you... and I almost failed. I’ll hold myself to that forever.” He leaned over, pulling her to his lap. “I’ll never let you be hurt again, my little flower,” he whispered to her.

Lilac wrapped her arms around his neck and squeezed him closer. “I know... and I will try to do the same.”

She buried her face into his neck. “Is he gone? Are we safe?”

“For now. He’s outside our borders now. They haven’t caught him yet but they will. Why?”

Lilac considered her mate. “So it might be safe to run around?”

“What did you have in mind?” he replied, seeming surprised by her initiative.

She nipped at his neck. “Let’s go someplace we can play.”

KYRIL

~Silent.~

~Stealthy.~

~Vigilant.~

The lycan prowled through the trees of the Alpha Refuge, his private patch of woodlands hemmed in by the surrounding town and guarded on all sides...

He deftly maneuvered around the redwoods and ferns, seeking out his prey. He was following a trail of freshly made tracks that betrayed their owner’s location.

As silently as he could manage, the lycan approached the bush that happened to be rustling louder than all the others.

Crouching down, he leaped off his hind legs and vaulted over the shrub.

Landing on the other side, he swiftly spun around and snatched the victim up in his arms.

~Happiness.~

The lycan panted with joy at the sight of a little brown wolf who now wriggled in his embrace. His mate, however, wasn’t nearly as content, for she had just lost the game of hide and seek.

Lilac stirred restlessly in his arms, letting out small whines and growls. She wanted to continue to play.

Kyril ignored her protests, instead nudging his nose against hers and licking her muzzle lovingly.

She reclined in his hold and released a yip, letting her head roll back and her tongue hang out of her mouth.

Kyril finally released the little wolf from his hold, setting her back down so she was free to pounce around.

As soon as Lilac’s paws touched the ground, she began to run in circles around her mate.

Lowering her chest to the ground, she wiggled her rear in the air and flicked her tail back and forth, baiting him into another chase.

Kyril conceded, and the pair took off in a light run, nipping playfully at one another until they reached the river, where they decided to rest so Lilac could catch her breath.

As Kyril’s wolf bent over to drink from the calm water, Lilac snuck up behind him and shoved against him with her whole body.

He teetered to the side, momentarily losing his balance, but she was not strong enough to topple the large lycan.

He turned to face his mischievous mate, perking his ears and tilting his head to one side.

Letting out a bark and wagging his tail, he grabbed onto her with both hands and flung the small wolf into the water.

The sudden shock of being underwater caused Lilac to lose focus and shift back to her human form. She popped up to the surface gasping for air and completely naked.

Seeing his mate so exposed filled him with lust. His wolf let out a low rumble as he eyed her soft, pale flesh beneath the rippling current.

He hardened at the thought of what was concealed beneath the surface.

He now craved his mate in both wolf and human form. The thought of taking her began to arouse him.

He shifted from his wolf and waded into the river, eyes feasting upon her bare body.

Lilac

Lilac crossed her arms to conceal her ample breasts. Although he had already seen everything, she still couldn’t help but feel a sense of modesty when exposed.

Blushing furiously, she stepped away from him as he neared. However, her strides were no match for his.

As soon as he was an arm’s length away, he reached out to her and gently pulled her body to his.

Lilac shivered when the burly alpha craned his head down, breathing in her scent.

With his fingers, he carefully trailed one hand down her body until it came to rest on her inner thigh.

He moved to touch the outside of her soft folds, carefully feeling her lush skin with his fingers. He began to massage her little bundle of nerves with his fingertips.

Lilac moaned at the feeling of the fingers tracing against her flesh.

It felt so good to be touched like this. But as he dragged his fingers down the length of her core to her opening, she smacked his hand.

“Oh no you don’t!” she scolded with burning cheeks. “You can’t just throw me in a river and expect me to let you... well, let you do whatever it was you were doing,” she huffed.

She pouted as she tried once again to push herself away from him.

As she wriggled in his grasp, Lilac felt something grow hard against her inner thigh. She looked down, and her eyes widened in mortification.

“Oh my... put that way! What if someone sees us!” She pushed off his chest with her hands, trying to distance herself from the large appendage that stood dangerously near her opening.

Kyril laughed. “It’s not my fault! I can’t help it that you excite me. And I’ll have you know that my wolf was only playing when he pushed you in. He doesn’t know any better.”

Lilac narrowed her eyes at the coy smile that formed on his lips.

“Let me go. I’m indecent. I need to get out of this water and shift back,” she said, frowning.

“Actually, I think I might keep you in this position,” he replied, shifting her against his member.

“Kyril!” she gasped.

“All right, all right. I’ll let you go.”

“Well?” she questioned after he failed to release her.

“I think I’ve reconsidered,” he said, passionately pressing his lips to hers.

The sensation of his shaft throbbing against her and the taste of his rich lips sent a tingle through her body.

A deep heat pulsed from her core evaporating the cold water that clung to her skin.

Her arousal continued to grow as he moved his mouth down to her breasts, engulfing her hard nipples with his warm mouth.

She rocked her hips against him, sliding her delicate lips against his strong erection.

She didn’t want to play any more games; she wanted to feel it inside of her. He let out a tortured gasp, clearly wanting the same.

“I want you to take me,” she whispered, reaching down and grabbing him with her hand.

KYRIL

There was nothing else in the world Kyril wanted more, but the thought of Zion still lingered in the back of his mind.

He couldn’t consummate their bond until the issues with his brother were resolved.

“Soon,” he replied, fighting against the desires of his body.

“Is there something wrong with me?” she asked, stroking him. “Is there something I’m doing wrong?”

“No, I...I just...” Kyril felt himself begin to climax. The tender touch of his mate’s hand against his member had been too much for him to handle. “Kiss me,” he said, grabbing her bare cheeks firmly in his hands.

He could feel the pressure inside him mounting, and as soon as their lips touched, his whole body convulsed and his warm release shot into the water.

Lilac giggled, wiping her hand on his arm.

“That’s quite a lot.”

He smiled. She was getting more comfortable being intimate.

“It’s a good thing we don’t have to go anywhere to wash up,” he replied, splashing her.

She looked at him with mock disdain before splashing him back.

“Are you sure you want to play this game?” he teased.

“You started it,” she shot back, sticking out her tongue.

Her response coaxed a grin to his face. “Fine, but you asked for it.”

Placing his hands under her thighs, he flung her off him, dunking her into the river. He let out a hearty laugh as she resurfaced.

“Come here, little flower, I’m sorry,” he said, wading toward her. “I can’t help the fact that I like making you wet.”

She glared back at him, unamused. He found her so cute when she got like this.

“Care for a double dip?”
