worried about you?”

Joseph elongated his tone, his eyes glinting with amusement. He accompanied Chloe to the entrance

of the villa area, and then they parted ways, each heading in their own direction.

When Chloe arrived home, she was surprised to find Icarus waiting for her. His chin now sported a

small beard, and he seemed less vibrant than before. Although his legs showed signs of improvement,

he still relied on a cane, which added to his disheveled appearance.

have deceived you for my own selfish reasons.”
