came off, I wasn’t sure because I didn’t touch her.”

“That homeless man tore my clothes, so the buttons were ruined…” Xavia explained in panic as she

blushed, “I have no idea how they fell off.”

Chloe rolled her eyes at Xavia’s words, ignoring the obvious fabrication. “It doesn’t matter.” She looked

up at Joseph. “What matters is you, a man, were in a room with her, a woman, checking her wounds.

You’re not a doctor, right? Why did you do that?”

“I wasn’t thinking,” Joseph confessed. At that time, the room was too hot, so his mind had been foggy.

When Xavia claimed she was in pain, he instinctively went to her aid.
