Chapter 674 Why Do the Men I Like Like You?
Jojo and Coco’s Unexpected Love
"Thatâs Mr. Joseph's ex-wife? Surely, you must be mistaken.â
"No, I'm a hundred percent sure about this! Thatâs Chloe!"
Megan had made significant progress in life over the years, having managed to bag a wealthy
businessman from Docwood. She took out her phone to capture a photo of Chloe for Xavia.
In response, Chloe elegantly swept her bangs behind her ears and warned, "You're not allowed to
circulate my photos without my consent. I will sue you for violating my image rights."
Chloe's words confirmed Megan's suspicions and a shiver traveled down her spine. She asked with
uncertainty, "Who are you? Are you a ghost or..."
"What do you think?"
In a panic, Megan cried out for help. "Security, get her out of here!"
"Chloe is my plus-one, and you donât have the authority to kick her out," Noah said, shielding Chloe
while giving Megan a warning gaze.
Turning to those around her, Megan pleaded, "She really is Chloe. We need to chase her out of
here!"
"She does look like Chloeâ¦"
"But I thought she was dead. Did she come back to life?"
"Oh please, there's no such thing as coming back to life. She must've survived the fire, though I am
curious as to how.â
"Is it possible that she simply resembles Chloe?"
"That's easy to verify. Mr. Joseph is here today, and no one would know better than him."
As they spoke, many gazes fell upon the dominating man sitting in the corner.
Joseph was dressed in a simple suit that did nothing to hide his striking appearance. Time had
etched its mark on him, adding a touch of maturity to his well-defined features. Still, he remained as
captivating as ever, like a masterpiece skillfully crafted by the heavens.
Since Chloe had shown up, his gaze had never once left her. However, the light rendered his
expression unreadable.
Chloe could not ignore Joseph's presence, but she resisted giving him any attention. She turned to
Noah and said, "Let's go inside."
Noah glanced at Joseph nonchalantly and provocatively. He affectionately draped his coat over
Chloe and said, "The air here is pretty chilly. Donât catch a cold."
Chloe naturally understood his intentions and smiled at him radiantly. "Thank you."
Everyone around them gasped at their interaction.
"I can't believe it! Chloe is truly something else! Five years ago, she was Mr. Joseph's wife, and now
she's with Mr. Noah from Exotic Star. Impressive!"
"Come to think of it, something was off between Chloe and Noah even five years ago. Otherwise,
why would Exotic Star choose an ordinary person like her to be their ambassador?"
"You're rightâ¦"
"Putting everything else aside, anyone who can captivate high-status men like Joseph and Noah
must possess qualities that ordinary women can't compare to," someone remarked.
Hearing these words, Natalie felt a twinge of discomfort. She quickened her steps and caught up
with Noah. Embarrassment and anger surged through her as she snarled, "Now that Chloeâs back,
does that mean I will cease being the Exotic Starâs ambassador?"
"No, you'll retain your position," Noah replied politely, then added, "Though we might consider
adding a few more ambassadors."
To be frank, Natalie was not the most suitable choice for jewelry endorsements. Noah was willing to
sacrifice one ambassador position to alleviate the tension between the Sullivans and Walkers, but
he had to take business interests into account as well. Relying solely on Natalie was not ideal since
international audiences typically favored a different image compared to an innocent and delicate
one.
Natalie looked at Chloe and pouted. "Am I that horrible? Why do all the men I like always end up
liking you instead? Look at both Joe and Noah.â
Chloe pondered for a few seconds and replied sincerely, "You're not horrible. On the contrary, you're
outstanding. It's just that you haven't met the right person. I'm sure you'll find an even better man in
the future."
"Even better than Joe?"
Chloe subconsciously glanced at the man in the corner and smiled faintly. "Absolutely. And it will be
a man thatâs at least ten times better than him."
