Chapter 721 I’ve Vented My Anger by Hitting You

When the driver saw what was happening, he got scared. "Please don't fight in the car! I'll be held

responsible if anything happens!"

Chloe pinned Megan's arms behind her back. She then said, "Lock the doors."

The driver did as she asked. At least, they would be out of danger for the moment. Besides, the

road ahead was about to be clear. Megan’s assistants smacked the car but they could not get in.

They could only watch as Chloe slapped Megan fiercely and mercilessly.

"My face! Don't hit my face!"

The hot burning pain made Megan scream and cry in fear. The most valuable thing about a celebrity

was their face. Megan spent more than a hundred thousand dollars every year on her skincare.

Chloe, being a devious woman, knew what Megan cared about the most. She stopped and said, "I

may have slapped you, but you tried to kill me."

"You’re getting things all wrong. When did I ever try to kill you?"

"A few days ago, you drove your car right into mine. You would’ve crashed into me and killed me if I

hadn’t dodged."

Megan was stunned. "No, I didn't."

Chloe averted her gaze. She had guessed as much. She showed Megan the photos she had taken.

"Is this red car yours?"

"Yes, it is..." Megan was taken aback. "But I was on set that day. I didn't drive my car out."

"You're lying. Xavia even apologized to me on your behalf."

Megan was confused. She did not believe it at first but was soon overcome by anger after learning

about what had happened. Megan then recalled Xavia had borrowed her car. She had

impersonated Megan to stalk Chloe. Xavia then shifted the blame to Megan after she was caught

red-handed. Megan even wanted to teach Chloe a lesson on Xavia's behalf.

That ungrateful Xavia!

"It wasn't me that day. Xavia impersonated me. There’s a whole group of people to prove that I was

on set that day."

After sowing discord between Megan and Xavia, Chloe released Megan. "Go and talk to Xavia then.

After all, I’ve already hit you and avenged myself. I won't find fault with her."

Megan erupted in anger. Wanting to interrogate Xavia immediately, she hit the door. "Open the

door!”

Chloe made sure there were no cars behind them so Megan would not be run over. "Sir, let her out."

Megan was surrounded by her two assistants the moment she got out of the car. They expressed

their desire to beat Chloe up.

"Have I not been embarrassed enough?" She covered her face and wrapped her clothes tightly

around herself. "Let's go. We don’t want anyone spotting us."

Chloe watched Megan's sorry back and slowly put away her smile.

When Chloe got home, it was time for dinner. The chef had given the nest part of the salmon.

Desmond smiled and said, "You're just in time."

"It’s because you guys were waiting for me."

Noah put a peeled prawn on her plate. "Why didn't you bring Emily over? It's been a long time since

I’ve seen her."

"She's busy with her new job. I'll ask her to come over when she's free."

Noah lowered his eyes and casually said, "Something rather interesting happened this afternoon."

"What happened?" Chloe asked.

"Someone beat up a famous star on the streets."

Chloe's hands trembled slightly. The cab she had taken had taken a different route from where her

trip with Emily had been. She forced out a smile and said, "That is interesting."

"Look. It seems like it was Xavia's friend." Noah showed her his phone.
