Chapter 762 She Was Seeking Her Own Death
Jojo and Coco’s Unexpected Love
Zoelle exclaimed in a playful tone, "Seriously? With that girl youâre always hanging around?"
Looking at the woman beside him, Noah gently replied, "Yes."
"Not bad. Looks like you've achieved your goal. Iâll definitely be there for your wedding. As for
treating this person, I'll have to take a look at their condition first. Email me the patient's information
and I'll take a look."
"Okay."
Chloe did not hear the contents of their conversation and stared at him with anticipation. "How did it
go? Did Dr. Z agree?"
"Most likely."
"Thank you so much. If not for you knowing Dr. Z, Vanya would be as good as dead and we won't
be able to get anything useful out of her."
A sharp glint flashed through Noah's eyes as his eyebrows went up.
How could sewer rats be given the chance to see the sunlight? Vanya knew a lot of secrets and was
destined to die. Instead of lingering in agony, she had managed to find a glimmer of hope. Little did
she know she was about to meet her demise.

In the afternoon, sunlight shone through a window onto two figures on a bed.
Kenneth gazed at the naked woman in his arms, recalling the passion he and Xavia had indulged in
last night. His face turned red as he chided himself for his lack of self-control. He came here to
change a lightbulb, yet he had acted like some kind of sex-crazed man. They were not even married
yet and he already could not resist making love to her, which was inappropriate morally and
logically.
As he pondered about how to get his parents to approve of Xavia and speed up their relationship,
the phone on the coffee table rang. He lifted the covers and went to turn the phone off.
When he was halfway there, Xavia woke up and asked with a drowsy voice, "Mm? Who's calling?"
Kenneth's eyes met hers, his eyes tracing her graceful figure under the covers. His face turned red
again as he stammered, "I-I'll go check. Hmm, thereâs no name. it just says EH."
Xavia trembled and jumped out of bed, snatching the phone from Kenneth. He instinctively averted
his gaze away from her unclothed body, failing to notice her unusual behavior. He said, "Iâll get you
some clothes so that you won't catch a cold."
Her fingers trembled as she hung up the call, then noticed that Noah had called her twice last night.
It was probably Noah who instructed Eustace to call her.
"What's wrong? You look really pale," Kenneth asked as he draped a shawl over her, finally sensing
that something was off.
Xavia hid the phone behind her back and forced a smile. "I-I'm fine."
"Was I too rough last night? Did I hurt you?" He was inexperienced and relied on trial and error. He
was certain that he must have hurt her last night.
She lowered her head and said with a sob, "It's not that... Iâd never force you to do anything. Is that
what you think of me? Do you think Iâd sell my body to enter the royal family?"
"I didn't mean it that way. I was just giving you a promise. I swear I won't let you down."
"That's all that matters."
Kenneth felt his heart melt at Xaviaâs care and gentleness. He said, "I love you, Vee, and I promise
you will not suffer in the future."
Nestling into his embrace, Xavia nodded softly. "Okay."

A little while later, Kenneth left to return to the palace to discuss the marriage with his mother. When
he got downstairs, he saw a man standing there with a little girl who looked about five years old.
Eustace looked at Kenneth and smiled with a hint of mockery on his face.
