Chapter 803 Lock Her up as Joseph Did

It was unknown if Noah took Desmon’s advice seriously. He kept his head low and took a step back,

letting the shadows hide his expression. He whispered, "I understand."

Desmond shook his head helplessly. "You've always been smart and could differentiate between

right and wrong. You should lead Coco forward and forget about the past. There’s no need to fill all

of Coco's requests. Do you understand?"

Being nice to someone was no guarantee that the person would treat you in kind.

"That’s what I want too, Grandpa."

"I know, so you have to be the one to pull Coco out. Men should put up a strong front when the time

calls for it. You're just too docile. You shouldn’t always listen to Coco. You guys are about to get

married. How about you two go on a trip and not let the recent events affect you? And don't worry

about the company. Exotic Star won't go downhill just because of public opinion."

One was his granddaughter and the other was his adopted grandson that had grown up with him.

She was so excited that she could not sleep that night and texted Joseph several times. She told

him to ask Vanya about the child. However, Vanya did not trust Joseph and requested to speak

Noah’s voice suddenly came from her doorway. Chloe held her breath and pretended to be asleep.

Noah sounded a little off. Aside from when he was mad, he would usually address her before talking

to her.

Chloe became anxious. 'Did he find out I’m still in touch with Joseph? Is he here to interrogate me?'

She stared at the door of her bedroom. After a few minutes, she heard him leave. She heaved a

sigh of relief and relaxed.

Noah went downstairs as he observed the light shining through from under her door. An iciness

crept up his face. Their imminent marriage brought him no joy.

Xavia and Kenneth were on the guestlist, and Otto would also be there as he was dating Ophelia.
