Chapter 805 You Guys Are Bolder and More Open-Minded

Joseph clenched his wine glass so tightly that his knuckles turned white. He shot Otto with a fierce

glare. "Shut up."

Otto smiled fearlessly. "This is the first time I’m seeing such a vivid expression on that poker face of

yours. You're jealous. How interesting!"

Joseph’s deep possessiveness over Chloe made him yearn to ruin all the men who even laid their

eyes on her.

Otto tried to keep his wild thoughts at bay. His father had picked the wrong person. It would have

been great if he had sought out Chloe instead. Xavia was simply no comparison.

Joseph calmed down and a scorn spread across his face. "I think you should worry about yourself

instead. After all, you might just drop dead one day."

Otto became unruffled. "It's a slow-acting drug. I won't die. Vanya had managed to survive all these

years, right?"

"Let’s hope you're as lucky as her," Joseph commented lightly before entering the hall.

Otto froze, then scanned the party attendees. Unfortunately, he did not see Zoelle anywhere. He

asked the person beside him, “Where is she? Did she not come?"

"She should be coming. Dr. Z accepted the invitation card. When I asked if they would be coming,

Dr. Z said..."

"What? What did Dr. Z say?"

"Dr. Z said...yes, and that she’d be coming to hook up with a rich guy..."

The veins on Otto's forehead bulged. If he had not looked into it and found that Zoelle was the

elusive Dr. Z, he would never have believed that Dr. Z was a woman.

Ophelia walked over and followed his gaze. "Are you looking for someone?"

"Yeah." Otto smiled seductively and hugged her. "I was looking for you, my dear."

Ophelia glared at him but did not push him away. "Enough, be serious. Come on, let’s go inside."

"Sure."

Kenneth saw this scene and whispered to Xavia, "Wait here. I’m going to speak to Leah for a

moment."

Xavia said okay but secretly peeked into the hall and gritted her teeth in hatred. However, she had

to pretend to be unconcerned. She had watched as Chloe got out of the car earlier.

‘How does this bitch always turn a desperate situation in her favor? How does she always get the

support of the big shots? First, it was Joseph, then Noah. Even Desmond and Callum are taking her

side. She somehow managed to make a great comeback as if she’s the heroine of a story!’ Xavia

thought, raging with jealousy.

If Chloe was not in attendance at today’s party, Xavia would have been in the limelight. Now that

Chloe was here, everything had changed. Xavia desperately tried to think of ways to pull Chloe

down from her pedestal.

Kenneth was unaware of Xavia’s thoughts. He instead walked toward Ophelia and scolded her,

"Leah, you and Mr. Otto may be dating, but you two shouldn’t be hugging in public."

"Please mind your business. The only person you should be concerned with is your dear wife.”

Ophelia always had a short temper and she had had enough of Xavia.

"I think you’ve got it all wrong here. We’re only doing what any normal couple would do. Alas, Xavia

got pregnant before you guys are even married," Otto teased Kenneth, his sarcasm evident. "You

guys are far bold and more open-minded then us."
