Chapter 27 ~ We All Felt It

Third Person’s POV ~

Kieran lifted her into his arms and walked slowly to the bed.. She had lit candles around the room, and he gazed down into her eyes.. her skin literally looked like it was glowing. She smiled at him as he leaned down to place a lingering kiss on her lips. As he broke away, he whispered “I adore you. Everything about you is exactly what I didn’t know I needed.”

His large hands glided down her body, and as he reached the hem of her gown, he gently pulled it up, and over her head. She squirmed a little, under his intense gaze..and his hands stilled her body. He said “Let me look at you.. you are the most exquisite creature I have ever seen. Forgive me, my love, for being such a fool.”

She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him, telling him he was a little overdressed for the occasion. He chuckled and hastily removed his clothing. The bed dipped beneath his weight.. and her body automatically shifted closer to his.

His hands and fingers worked their magic on her body, until she was a moaning mess, begging him to take her. As Kieran lined up at her entrance, he said “If there is any doubt.. tell me now, baby. I won’t be able to stop, otherwise. Calista looked deep in his eyes, and told him “ I love you, Kieran. I have since the first moment I saw you. I am absolutely sure of this.. of us!” And he entered her, slowly.. allowing her to adjust to the stretch of his full length inside her. She moaned “Ohh Goddess! Move, my love.”

He began thrusting.. in and out slowly, at first.. then increasing gradually.. until they found their rhythm. They moved together, in an erotic dance, as old as time. As she reached her crescendo, and she moaned “I’m cumming, my love”, his canines lengthened .. he licked her neck,, finding the fleshy part of muscle between her collar bone and trapezoid, he sank his teeth as deeply as they would go. She cried out.. in pain for a few seconds, before it turned to sheer ecstasy.

Her canines grew and she bit into him.. as he roared through his climax.. everything she had ever felt melded with his consciousness. He felt her love.. and he felt her pain. He now knew everything he had put her through.. and he had never known such remorse. She whispered “That was yesterday.. baby.. And yesterday’s gone”

They whispered their love for one another and he carried her to the bathroom.. where he drew them a warm bath.. he washed her skin.. tenderly.. loving the feel of her, beneath his hands.

The entire pack felt the intense wave of power that washed over them. They understood what it meant.. They knew their lives were now whole. Their pack had the heart! Their Luna was finally home!

He leaned up on his elbows and kissed her so deeply she nearly wept. They lay together.. not speaking.. just feeling. Experiencing their love without any words being necessary.

They made love through the night.. experiencing all the things only the merging of two hearts can provide. Sometime, in the early hours of the morning, their souls became one. An impenetrable fortress of protection for the Heart of the Moon.

The Moon’s Realm

Vanessa stood beside Selene, as they looked down upon their children. Selene said “I wish we could be there when they wake.. Kieran will need larger clothes! At least his height won’t be a problem.” They both giggled.

Vanessa tells her “Thank you, Mother Moon! For allowing my Peter to be happy, again. He deserves it. His heart has hurt for far too long!” Selene kissed Vanessa’s forehead and said “I am sending Emmaline back to earth, this night. She will live again.. in our granddaughter!” Vanessa’s eyes filled with tears and said “That is the highest honor you could have bestowed upon her! I cannot thank you, enough.”

Selene then says “The time of war is fast approaching. Our children have nearly all the players figured out. Oh! And Alec’s mate will appear to him, in his dreams.. he will find her after the battle!”

Vanessa claps her hands, like a schoolgirl and asks “May I see her? I am sure she must be very beautiful.” Selene laughed “Your enthusiasm always amuses me. But, no.. I don’t want to spoil the surprise!”

Vanessa huffs and pouts for a moment.. grinning, she responds “Who knew the Moon Goddess had a mean streak!?” They both laughed.

Axel’s POV ~

I sat bolt upright, in bed.. What in the world? I ask Kobal 🐺 Did you feel that? 🐺 The entire pack felt it. Our Luna is home. Our pack now has its’ heart 🐺 Well damn! Are we stronger? I feel stronger. 🐺 We are much stronger.. wolfsbane and silver won’t hurt us now. We will heal faster. Our speed has increased.

Realizing I was wide awake, I sat up to read awhile. Cole mindlinked me.. asking if we wanted to run. I agreed immediately. I reached the back deck and Arlen was already waiting. I looked him over and said “Damn, dude! You’re bigger!” as I shifted into Kobal… realizing he is bigger, too!

We took off.. testing our speed. We were pretty evenly matched.. with Kobal being just a bit faster. We ran the borders.. then stopped beside the waterfall. Kobal lifted his snout to the moon and howled his joy. Within minutes, every wolf awake, joined his song. Our pack was finally whole. And we all felt it.
