I sat down on the bench at a street corner as the cold breeze of December flew pass me and aria,my baby sister

These past few years life has not been good to me and my family..

Dad's death was a shock to all of us even though we knew he was going to pass away but we thought it wouldn't be so soon but I guess fate had different plans

Dad was diagnosed with cancer and he died three years ago,after that mom wasn't lively again

As I'm speaking now she is in the hospital fighting for her life...she is on oxygen with needles injected on her

I have to pay the hospital bills and guess what...I don't have a dime to even start with....

I am on the edge of my house rent...I'm due next week and the landlord is so scary with scars on his face and piercings

Cringe

He said either I pay my house rent or sleep with him if not I should get the fuck out of his house

I don't even see that as a house,...unfurnished with leaks but what can a poor girl like me do...just go with the flow

I have to take care of my baby sister and my mother...I really need a job urgently

I really wish life will be easier for me ...this is too much for me to take

I'm a graduate but I'm jobless so any job that comes my way i will accept with open arms

My darling sister is currently sleeping peacefully in my arms with no worry,no stress..nothing

I need to go now to check up on my mother...

I got up with my aria and walked my way to the hospital...yes I don't have money to pay taxi fare so I will walk

I walked my way to the hospital and went into her room...mom was sleeping peacefully

I sat next to her,but this time aria was already awake and her eyes were glued to mom

She doesn't talk that much....she doesn't even know how to talk that much

"Mom..we're here" I said with a sad smile lowly not to wake her up but she woked up

She stared at both of us with a sad smile "Flora,aria" she said lowly

"Mom" I said while tears started to form in my eyes "flora please don't cry..I don't like seeing you cry"

"I know mum...I will try my best to pay for your operation and your hospital bills"

"Don't stress your self or overwork your self too much flora you know I don't even have much time left here "

"Mom I will do anything for you and please don't talk like that you are not going anywhere"

"Tata" aria unexpectedly came in and both of us laughed and she was looking at us clue less of what we are up to

"Mom are they treating you well here?" "yes dear they are taking care of me well "

We spent some time chatting,laughing and all

And then a nurse came in "Hello there" "hi" "How are you feeling now"

"Well much more better" and the nurse smiled and turned towards me

"Visiting hours is already over but because of you I added two ours on top as you know it is already dark so please you can come visit to tomorrow "

We spent that much time..

"Ohh ok" and sadness took over me...I will be leaving mum now and i don't want to

What if something bad happens to her

No flora no negative thoughts

"I will be going now mum " I said as I tried to fight my tears "I will miss you dear...stay strong for me...I will see you tomorrow flora "

I pecked her and then we left and walked home as I was walking by a corner I saw a poster and curiosity got the best of me

I went and and watched the poster and it was a job opportunity and it was looking for a cook and a babysitter

And it stated a number there to call...i took out my phone and saved the number on my phone

When I get home I will quickly call...I then hurrily went home...I got in locked the door

I put aria on the couch to sit then I quickly dialed the number and it picked on the first ring

"Hello there,Nicholeson Inc..how can I help you "

"Hi,I called for the job for babysitting and cook..I saw the poster and it stated this number and I dialed it"

"Okay..be here tomorrow sharp 9 for the interview...and she gave me the address "

"Thank you" "You're welcome " and she hung up politely

Yesss...I finally got a job interview...I really wish I get this job tomorrow

My guardian angels please let this work...please see me through and also dad

But somehow I get a good feeling about tomorrow and I hope it turns out as I feel

"Time to eat boo" I carried aria into the kitchen and prepared cereal for her and she ate it happily

It is her favorite food even though we have some other foods in the house she still prefers this

Thank God I brought so many groceries with some of my saved money so I won't be worrying about food anytime soon

I cooked for myself pasta and ate it but also aria bugged me for my pasta so I had to give her some

But it was enough to make us both full after that I showered her and prepared her for bed and I also showered and got ready for bed

I switched off the lights and we lay down to sleep with this thought on my mind

I really hope I get this job.i hope this will be a new phrase and chapter in my life ..I really do hope so and with that thought I drifted off to sleep....☆☆☆
