Chapter 11

Light enters a broken vessel more easily than an intact one

Aiden's Pov

Today I woke up earlier than my usual morning time...I don't even have a normal waking time

Anyways today I don't plan on going to work because I want to spend time with my loving daughter

And moreover I gave my employees a day off...they have worked too much they need some time out

I got up...and I'm now taking my shower but the images of flora keep flashing on my mind

Fuck...why can't you get off my mind

I remember when Elijah came yesterday or so to give me some files then he flirted with her...

I did not know what came over me when I snapped at her when she came to inform me that she was going home

I just can't get her off my mind and by all means she will move out ..I won't fall again after everything I have been through

I showered and went downstairs with my laptop and I was now working

Then after some minutes I heard footsteps behind me but I still didn't turn

"Good morning sir" I heard her melodious voice but I put that at the back of mind and ignored her

I looked her before concentrating back on my laptop "Bring my coffee now " I said coldly void of any emotion

I continued working and after some minutes I heard it again "Look at it sir "

She gave me my black coffee " I tasted it but it was too sweet for my liking so I spitted it

"What the fuck is this " I yelled and threw the coffee on the floor making it all spill and breaking the glass

"S-ir yo-ur cof-fee " she stuttered "is this how I told you I wanted it. . . what the hell was that...don't you know how to fucking do anything with your fucking brain ".

I don't know why this triggered me so much but I still can't help it

"S-ir I'm sor-ry " "Don't you fucking tell me sorry and clean this mess up and in the next five minutes bring me a new coffee "

I roughly grabbed my laptop and went upstairs into my room and continued working

I know I exaggerated but she should at least do something with her brain

After exactly five minutes she came upstairs into my office "Sir  your coffee " "Don't you know how to knock " "I'm sorry sir but the door was slightly open "

Why is she so perfect...she doesn't get angered easily

"So...just put the coffee down and get out " and she was now going outside

"Miss cole " "yes sir " "I hope this coffee is not a mess like the first one you made " I said clearing mocking her

"No sir....I just it just like your personality " she said but not loudly..she thought I didn't hear her

"Did you say something " I said coldly "no sir unless you heard something you were not supposed to hear "

She said challenging me...woow she got some nerves...let's see where you will get with this and I glared at her

"Sir can I go now...I have something to do " "No you can stand here and stare at me "

"Well I don't stare at beasts " wait what...she has challenged me again

"What did you say " I said using the voice people fear me for and I stood up walking close to her

I took a step forward while she took one backward until she hit the door

I stood close to her and stared in her brown eyes with a cold face

"Did you say something " I said again angrily  "N-o si-r " "are you sure"

"I sa-id I ha-ve some-thing to do so I will n-ot st-are at you " "Are you sure "

Then she nodd before I opened the door behind her back and she landed on the floor

"Owww" she whimpered "next time you say something you will get more than this " and I slammed the door

Finally...I can get some peace and I continued my work and after 20 minutes or so the door opened to meet my angel running towards me

"Good morning daddy" "Morning princess...how was your night baby "

"It was good..how was yours " "peaceful " and I carried her on my lap whiles I finish up work

About 35 minutes ago miss cole came here to inform me about breakfast and I today her to stay outside

Yes hilarious right but I don't wanna see her face for now

Anyways after I finished my work we both went downstairs chatting like two best friends

The dinning table looked so inviting she does know how to cook

We were now eating and i was not even looking at her even though I wanted to but no I won't

"So daddy where are we going today " "no where...we will stay home and play...and order for you icecream "

"Yayy" and I smiled..all I want is her happiness "dana what do you want for lunch "

"Whatever daddy is happy with " "Sir what do you-" "whatever my daughter is happy with "

"Can I make curry rice with coleslaw as the side dish " "yes " both of us said together

And we continued our chatting before she went into the kitchen..

We ate breakfast and we went upstairs and after sometime i heard Elijah's voice

"Hey man" "where are the files I asked for " "look at them " and he gave it to me

And we started walking...I was sitting in a couch and Dana was laying down straight playing with her Ipad and her foot on my lap

These tiny toes...and I smiled and continued for hours and by the way we had already ate lunch already

Then Elijah said he was going to take water "Bring for me also " "okay"

And he went downstairs to take water...i continued working...but after about 20 minutes he has still not come with the water yet

I'm so thirsty

"Dana I will be back soon okay " "okay daddy " and I went downstairs into the kitchen

"Elijah have you gotten -" and what I saw shocked me...Elijah's hand was on flora's breast

What the hell what is this...I felt sudden pain in my heart...what is this

And he cleared my throat "yes but it -" "Yeah I have seen the water you got and why you spent so much time in here "

And I walked outside and went upstairs and continued my work "daddy are you okay "

"Yes princess" and she continued then Elijah came up...he gave me the water but I didn't drink it

He was trying to build up conversations but I didn't cut him off with short replies and he noticed it so he shut up

After about an hours or so...Miss Cole was done making dinner and we're now eating dinner

Everywhere is quiet and the tension is so much and she isn't making it any better by standing here so she went into the kitchen thank God》》》

We are done eating dinner and that mother fucker left minutes ago

We were now in the living room..dana was playing with her Ipad...and I also told Miss Cole to bring me water or juice

I don't know...I don't remember...my mind is not functioning well right now

And after some time she came with it and it spilled all over me..fuck

I was way beyond angry

"Can't you do anything with care "

"Sir-" "Don't you freaking tell me sorry...what is wrong with you i yelled. .. I'm so angry right now but I don't wanna curse before dana

"Daddy" dana said trying to calm me down but I'm too angry to listen to her

"Go to your room" I said to her "dadd-" "I said go to your room " I yelled

She flinched and ran to her room

"Sir she is a kid-" "Don't you ever interfere between my daughter..you don't know how to take care of her more than me...all you know how to do is to get laid by everyone you see...whore...get the fuck out of my sight..cagna"

And I saw hurt and pain raw in her eyes and tears "Sir- it is n-ot what you s-aw " "Get out of my sight "

And as she wanted to go I called her again "Miss cole " and she turned around again

"Bring a condom tomorrow...you might need it for,you know a quickie "

And I wanted went upstairs into my room and sat down...cooling off some stem

I took a bottle of cold water and drank it...I will went into the bathroom and washed my face and sprinkled some water on my hair

Finally after 30 minutes...I calmed down a little bit and it all came down on me

Fuck..I shouted at my princess

I have never shouted at her...I may scold her but I have never raised my voice at her

Fuck...

I quickly got up up and went to her room "princess " I said but her door was locked

"Princess please open the door for daddy...I'm so-rry " I stuttered

I'm hurt

"Princess please " and after some time she opened the door and she ran back to her bed and turned her back towards me

And I sat next to her "Baby I'm sorry...I didn't mean to shout at you "

And I heard her soft hiccups " and I hugged her from the behind  "princess I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you..please princess "

"You shouted at me " she said in her cute voice "I'm sorry " and she slowly turned towards me

Her eyes were red from crying "im sorry baby " "you promise you will never shout at me"

"I promise "  "you want ice cream " "no " "you sure chocolate with sprinkles on top and vanilla flavour"

And she looked at me with wide eyes "Daddy I want icecream " And I laughed

Then I tickled her and she started laughing "daddy why did you shout at flo"

"Baby you wound not understand " "tell me" "okay..I went into the kitchen and saw Elijah's hands on her breast " and her eyes widen

"Daddy but you should have let her explain " "no" "you know maybe you just saw that scene.maybe something spilled on her and he was trying to remove it and you know I don't even like that your friend"

And she has some point...she is so brilliant "Did she cry" and and I nodd

"She must be really hurt daddy " "Then what should I do then " "apologise"

"No baby you know -" and she gave me her look causing me not to go anymore further

And I signed "okay baby I will apologise " "you promise " "yes" and she jumped on me

"Yayyy" "ok then time to bath baby " and I bath her before ordering ice cream and we ate it before falling asleep ☆~☆
