Chapter 1

Bing bing ***

I heard my phone alarm but I ignored...Bing bing ** it alarmed again and I opened my eyes

I looked at the time and it was sharp 6 am...I looked at my baby sister aria,she was sleeping peacefully next to me

I then lazily climb out of bed and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth

After cleaning my teeth..I went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for us

I made for her oatmeal and smoothie whiles I just had two sandwich

I packed her lunch pack because she eats a lot that's why she is so chubby and cute

I cleaned everywhere and by the time i was done it was already six thirty

I went in the room and woke her up to take her bath...she was so sleepy and I felt bad for waking her up

But I just can't leave her all alone here...it is dangerous...anyways I bath her and after that I had my shower

I dressed her and by this time she was fully awake...I then got dressed

It is so cold outside and it's snowing ..I would not even think about dressing like a slay queen

I made her eat breakfast but with putting a small towel around her neck so she doesn't mess herself up

I ate breakfast and now my worry is money...I don't know if I have any money on me but I have an idea

I am going to quick-search all my bags quickly before 7 am because the bus leaves around that time

A girl can hope right

I then quickly search my bags and guess what a miracle happened

I found 50$ in my purse...I think I forgot it here due to stress but thank God

I have some money now on me...I will buy some provisions for mom and the house after working

God I hope I really get this job

I then locked the door and went out with aria...she has fallen asleep again

The place was so cold outside...I then went into the bus to go to the hospital

Yes...I would be visiting mom first to tell her about the interview..I need her blessings

Thank God the interview is 9 Sharp so I have some time left

The blessings of a mother is everything

After about half an hour we reached the hospital and I quickly went in

I went into her room to meet her wide awake and she turned towards me

"Morning mom" "Good morning darling..why are you here this early "

"Ohh I got a job interview " and she smiled genuinely to me and I saw her eyes glow for the first time in a while

"Ohh darling...thank God " "But it is as a cook and a babysitter " I expected the glow and her smile to fade but it didn't

"Honey,any job is a job...A thousand miles in a journey starts with a single step...take it as it is..be positive "

"Ok I came here for your blessings " and she smiled before blessing me

"Mom I would be back after working..I really hope I get this job " "you will"

"Bye mum" "bye dear " and I went out to see the doctor "Flora I need to speak with you"

"Yes..go on" "you need to act fast for this operation or else we will lose your mum "

"Wh-at do you mean " I stuttered..."Pay for this operation quickly so we can do what we're supposed to do or else we will lose her"

"Ok doctor..anything I have from now on I will give it to you" and he smiled sadly before tapping my back and moving forward "

This gave me more motivation to get this job...nothing will happen to you mom..I'm promise you that with my life

And I quickly went out and took a cab to Nicholeson Inc...payed the taxi driver and went in

It is a skyscraper building with letters boldly written Nicholeson Inc

I quickly went in to the receptionist..she has long eyelashes...with tight clothes and her tits are all showing with red smudgy lipstick

And she was chewing gum...overall she looked unprofessional

"Hi,I'm Flora Cole and I'm here for the job interview..." it took some time before she looked up at me

She looked me from head to toes...once and did it again for the second again disrespectfully

She wanted to say something disrespectful but I beat her to it

"Do your job instead of watching people as of they are shit " I said loudly for her to hear

She widen her eyes as if she wasn't expecting what I just said...

Serves you right

I don't allow someone to do shit to me and go scot free...she cleared her throat first

"5th floor on the right " and i walked off to the elevator...and after 5 minutes we reached the floor

There was a sea full of people on the floor seating respectively in their seats

And I saw another receptionist,I do hope she is not as disrespectful as that lady

"Hi,I'm Flora Aubrey Cole and I'm here for the job interview " "Hi dear you're number 60...you're lucky your not the last person here "

"And I smiled,she then looked at aria in front of me with eyes wide open

"She's cute..Is she your daughter " "no no...she is my baby sister " I smiled

" Oh well..you guys look alike though " "Yeah...does your boss allow babies in for the interview "

"Yes dear..." she smiled "ok then I will be going to sit now " "ok.." and I went to seat down

Even though I'm number 60 another crowd of people are waiting behind me

Like 220..something like that...everybody is hot for this job..will I be able to get this job

No negativity flora

I said with a deep breath and I closed my eyes and in the next 20 minutes

The interview started....I sat down there for over 3 hours before my name was finally called

"Flora Aubrey Cole...your next" the same lady called as I wanted to get in she held my hands

"Good luck..I personally hope and wish you get this job" "Thank you " and I smiled before knocking

"Come in" I heard a deep husky voice said before I went inside

I went inside and I saw that the bosses back was turned towards me

So I stood there patiently waiting before it finally turned towards me

And I was stunned to what I saw..he was way beyond handsome...he had the most beautiful green eyes I have ever seen

With prominent jawline and pink lips

With his curly hair and straight nose and what added it all was his eyes...prominent green eyes

"Should I also tell you to sit down " he said with his deep husky voice pulling me out of my dreamland

"Sorry sir" I said quickly before going to sit down "what is your name"

"Aubrey " and he gave me a pointed look

" Full name "

"Flora Aubrey cole"

"Age"

"25"

"Are you married "

"No sir" "

"Do you have kids"

"no sir"

And he looked at aria before looking back at me "

"She is my younger sister sir"

Ad he nod "What job interview are you here for"

"For babysitting and a cook sir "

"What made you think I will give you this job"

"Because I'm qualified and moreover I love children and cooking"

"Why do you want this job "

"To pay bills,this are care of my mother and babysitter and also cater for myself "

"Well then you have the job "

wait..what??????

yesssss!!!

"Thank you sir " I said smiling genuinely

"Just so you know...I don't joke with my daughter and my kitchen

You're the only one allowed near her and my kitchen...

you will do everything for her

Make food for her...play with her..make her hair...bath her and so many other things

She will go to pre- school twice a week...Monday and Thursday so you should come quick to prepare her for school and make her lunch pack so you should come quick maybe 7:00 am because she will leave by 9:00

And she will be back home by 12:30 pm

But the other days of the week..you will not come too early...you should be there around 8..8:30 because that is her usual time to wake up

And I normally leave at that time so you will prepare breakfast for me and coffee before I leave

You will not work on weekends unless I have to go somewhere on Saturday or Sunday because sometimes I'm busy for the whole of the week

So I will call you if I'm busy...and you are the only one in charge of that kitchen

No one else

You would prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner...no one is allowed into that kitchen except you,my daughter and...your baby sister because she is harmless

A cleaner will come everyday to clean the house until 3 pm then she will leave

And lastly you paycheck will be $1,000 dollars per week " and I was left jaw dropped

"I can add if you want "

Is this man okay ???

He is that rich ??

"no sir,it is ok "

"ok then you will start tomorrow at 8:00...Am I understood "

"Yes sir" and he gave me the address of his house " Thank you sir" and he gave me a curt nod

"You can leave now..I have other things to do" I then got up and left

I went outside to meet the receptionist looking at me hopefully and I smiled and have her a thumps up

She then smiled to me and dismissed the other candidates then I went outside

I am extremely happy so I will not take a cab I will stroll my way to the supermarket

Minutes later I reached the supermarket...I brought provisions for mom,aria and the house

After that I quickly went to the hospital to meet mum and I met her sleeping

Aria is crying and and I know she is hungry so I fed her and now she is playing

I told ya...food plays the trick

After some time mom woke up and I told her I got the job she was so happy

We talked a lot,chatted,laughed and all..I gave her provisions and then we went home

I fed aria,bath her and let her have her sleep...I then put the provisions I brought on their respective places before before I had dinner...bath and went to bed...

Early to bed..early to rise

I hope this new phrase and chapter of my life Is exiting and amazing ☆~☆
