Chapter 40

"I need you like a heart needs a beat "

Flora's Pov

I felt someone hugging me whiles trembling and he was continously sneezing

But I thought I was dreaming so I ignored but after a while it continued again

And it got worse and I turned around to see Aiden trembling and it looks it he's feeling cold

"Omg Aiden " and I got up and touched his forehead "you're burning "

And I quickly got up and went into the kitchen..i took a bowl with a towel and of course a towel

And I went inside the room again to meet him worse...like his fever is much more worse ☆~☆

And I layed the hot towel on his forehead...I'm not even good at this

My Goddd

And I liked at the time...it was past 1 in the morning...

This is gonna be a long night..

"Aiden please be okay " and I kept on squeezing the towel and laying it on his forehead frequently

He was still trembling...I went into his closet and took a socks and another hoodie...I know right

His cold is damn serious

"Baby please be okay " "he was trembling so bad and I'm panicking

Calm down flora...you got this....

And he slowly opened his eyes...his eyes were so red and he looked so dull

"It is all your fault...you should have stayed home and not follow me there...now look....you're sick...are you happy now "

I scolded him and he looked away frowning and I  signed...I checked his temperature again and it is still the same

I don't know what to do so I followed my instinct...he layed on my chest and I was playing with his hair till I heard his soft snores and I don't know how long i stayed up watching him till I fell asleep

I woke up earlier than usual because like you know..Aiden is sick and even sleeping I was worried about him

Anyways I was still staring at him while he was sleeping,it seemed like he was in pain

He was not sleeping peacefully,he was in pain and he was clenching his jawline

His face was so pale and white and I checked his temperature..It has gotten worse

I think I need to call the doctor so I quickly showered and got dressed before calling the doctor

And he will he here in half an hour...so I quickly went into the kitchen and prepared breakfast for him something light and I went into the bedroom

"Aiden i made breakfast " "And he opened his eyes "i-i-im not h-ungry "

"Please eat something....please...the doctor will be here soon " "

"Bab-" "

"Please " and he looked at me before sighing..."okay then "

And I fed him slowly and after about ten minutes he ate everything

"Thank you " and after a while the doctor came "Hello Mrs Nicholson "

Wait what...Mrs Nicholeson

"No-" "So tell me the signs you noticed " "okay doc " and I explained to him

"O...kay " and he went to him so I left the bedroom to give both of them space and I went to check up on aria and dana

"Hello here " I went in and saw nothing of them watching TV "Flooo "

And he hugged me "I missed you so much " "Oh danny...I missed you too...both of you "

"So time for bath now " "That's my favorite part of the day" and she rushed into the bathroom and I carried aria also inside there..

After bathing them I dressed them and we went downstairs for breakfast

I made breakfast for both of them "where's daddy flo " "you will see him later..."

"O..kay" and she stuffed the sandwich in her mouth and i fed aria...she's all grown up now

She doesn't talk that much but she only talks a lot to dana because she's so used to her now...

"So can we go see daddy now flo...I miss him " "How about this..I'll go and check up on him and I'll call you two okay "

"Okay " And I went upstairs to meet the doctor just finishing up

"So Mrs Nicholeson your husband is sick...yes...like sick sick and that is because of his lack of sleep

And it seems he has not not been eating well frequently and he has been stressed , he has been working too much and you know working without eating is bad

So that led to the state he's in right now but no worries he will be okay and by the way he's high on medication right now "

"Okay...so any prediction " "He will be okay by tomorrow or the day after or even next week...I can't tell but he will be okay "

"Okay thank you doc " "Yeah...make sure he takes this when he Wakes up and make sure he has a lot of rest and he should eat a lot and also don't allow him to go to work for at least 2 to 3 Weeks..is that is even possible,,.he's a workaholic "

And he laughed

"Don't worry doc...i have everything under control...trust me "

"I trust you Mrs Nicholeson " "Do-"

"You two look so good together....how cute...I'll be leaving now "

"Thank you doctor....bye "

And he left and I looked at Aiden to see him sleeping peacefully....

And I called aria and dana and they came upstairs "Shhhh. ..don't make a sound "

"Yes Ma'am " "daddy's sleeping " "yes he is sleeping...he is not keeping well"

"Ohh...i understand why. ..daddy has been working a lot lately and he has not been eating " she said looking sad

"Don't worry...he will be okay soon " "okay then...let's leave him so he can have some rest "

"Yes darling " and all of us went into her room and she suddenly removed a large pink card

"Dana what you doing " "umm im going to make a "Get well soon card for daddy "

And I smiled "awww " and she started writing with a white  marker

"White is daddy's favourite colour so maybe it will cheer him up "

"How about black" "yes he loves black also but consider his mood and you mix it will something dark...it will just worsen it but you know using white...it is a bright and unique colour which will brighten up his mood "

Smart kid!!

And i smiled "You're smart " and she smiled "Thank you " and she continued doing her work

"I love you daddy " and she wrote it and she suddenly added "We all do especially flo ( your babygirl )...she has been worried sick about you...Get well soon...we miss you"

And she added love stickers and she also added a butterfly "what is the butterfly for "

"It represents a magical symbol of great transformation to come..it is a reminder that our current reality is to be experienced so that we may grow to change for the better...we are to accept and embrace these changes while keeping our faith in the end results...it is a sign of peace, hope,change,endurance but most of all love"

This kid is deadass smart...Woah

"You never fail to amaze me danny,I'm so proud of you "

"Thank you "

And she smiled before doing the final touch up of the card "From danny,flo ( your babygirl ) and aria " she added

"So are you going to give him now " "When he is awake " "okay then "

"So time for lunch right " "Yeah " "So what do you guys want "

"Anything that has to do with spaghetti " "Shrimp spaghetti? "

"You always know how to brighten my mood flo...it sounds so yummy "

"Wait till you taste it " and we went to the kitchen and I made lunch with dana and aria on my neck...lol

"That smells...Rrrr so delicious " and she smiled "Right arrie "

Arrie ?

"If you're thinking....it is my nickname for her "

"Ya d-a-nny " she said cutely and I smiled

After preparing lunch...we all ate and I prepared vegetable soup for Aiden And the girls followed me to his room and Dana is also with her card

We went in to meet Aiden still sleeping..he really must be high on medication

Anyways I left the food and Dana left the card next to him and we went outside

We talked a lot and played a lot and watched TV....that was how our day went like ☆\☆

It was now past 9 in the Evening and Dana and aria already went to bed

I'm just making sure everything is okay before I go upstairs and it seems everything is okay

So I went upstairs and went into our room to meet Aiden still sleeping

And the food was still there so I went downstairs again and I put it inside the microwave just in case..

I went upstairs again and I checked his temperature,it went down a little bit

But he's still high on medication so I layed next to him and i stared at him

Please baby,get well soon...I miss you,your babygirl misses you....

I can't wait for you to look at me again with those lovely eyes of yours

He looked so peacefully sleeping and i was staring at him...I miss you babe

And he suddenly opened his eyes and he looked at me...his eyes   locked mine

We connected instantly...like fate wanted this to happen.

Rain was heavy outside,.,Thunderstorm...

The place was cold and we got our Hoodies and sweatpants on with socks..

Destiny....

And in that moment...everything stopped....I felt nothing...no worry.....nothing

And his eyes are the most....lord gracious

And before I could blink he turned me over so he was now hovering over me

His eyes were so green and deep like the forest

He is my peace

My home

My everything....my eyes found comfort in his and peace and like they are my home

And I felt his breath fanning on my lips....we are so close right now

And slowly I closed my eyes and I felt his lips on mine and he slowly started kissing me

Slowly and passionately

And I followed his movements and as time went on

It became more passionate and he intertwined our hands and he continued kissing me

He sucked my lips and he dipped his tongue inside my mouth and i sucked it and we continued kissing till we ran out of breath

And he let go of my lips breathing heavily and he looked into my eyes

"Best night of my life....you don't know how long I've waited for this moment "

And he touched my cheeks before he kissed my shoulder and layed on my chest

And after a while i felt him smile before I heard soft snores....

And just like that....He is my first kiss

My God...what just happened

It felt like paradise....he knows how to take care of my lips like he owns them

It felt like....Paradise

And as time went by...i drifted off to sleep
