Chapter 5

Today I woke up feeling a little unusual and I have that feeling in my gut that something bad is gonna happen

Something is coming up and I feel like it is bad but I do hope I'm just hallucinating

Anyways today also I did the same routine I do everyday...bath and feed aria and I did the same thing with myself

I did what I'm supposed to do and I closed the door to leave for work

I went into the bus and went to work,..today I will not be able to visit mum in the morning but I will make sure to do that in the  evening

Anyways I went to the villa by 7;55 and went in to meet Mr Nicholeson in the dining doing some work on his laptop with his glasses on

He looks so hot wearing glasses...is this man even real...wow just wow

He was full dressed with his suit and his curly hair perfectly scattered on his face

God did make him perfectly...Floraaa!!! Concentrate

"Good morning sir" "Morning " he said in his morning voice and I proceeded in the kitchen to make his coffee

Now what I do ,I make his coffee first before making him breakfast

That saves time...

I made his coffee...black with two cubes of sugar...this coffee sometimes reflects his personality

He is closed off and dark...he has this dark aura that I can't seem to put my hands on

Anyways I made his coffee and went to give it to him and so I did but unfortunately as I was putting it on the dining table it slipped And fell into pieces

And some spilled all over him...fuck what have I done

Omgggg

""Sir-" "look what you have done this time " "im sorry" "can't you do anything with care"

He yelled and water started to form in my eyes "im sorry sir...i didn't mean to"

"Forget it" he angrily said before standing up..taking his laptop and went upstairs

Why can't I do anything with care...jeez what is wrong with me

I then knelt down to pick the glass Pieces,while I was picking it up I mistakenly cut my hand with it and blood was spilling all over

It just makes it better

I then picked all the pieces and throwed it in the trash before going to clean up the mess I made

I did what I am supposed to do and made breakfast with a newly made coffee for him...I do hope that he accepts it

I went to the dining to meet him sitting there and he changed his suit he was previously wearing

I went to him and have him his coffee and hopefully this time it didn't spill

And I proceeded upstairs to wake danny...at least she is not as disrespectful as her father

"Wakie wakie" I said and shook her but she just turned "Wakie wakie"

Then she slowly opened her eyes and smiled at me "Good morning "

"Morning " "time to bath" I carried her to the bathroom and bath her before dressing her

We then went downstairs and surprisingly Mr Nicholeson was still there

And she ran to him "Morning daddy" "Good morning babygirl...time to eat breakfast "

"I put her breakfast on her plate and she started eating before I went back to the kitchen

I fed aria and she ate it happily...one thing I love about her is her appetite

After a while dana came into the kitchen "Flooo " she said happily

"Danny what's up" " Nothing I'm just happy....daddy just went to the office and he promised to buy me a doll "

"Awww okay" "I wanna help you today " "no you can look but you can't help "

"Flo plea-" "No please just look please " "ok" and I helped her with aria to climb up the counter

They were now watching at me while I was starting to cook the food

"So what do you want for lunch " "Pasta please " "right out dearie" and I started cooking lunch for her

I am done cooking lunch for her and they are now eating...she shared it with aria

They were chatting...more like dana talking to aria and aria replying with words I don't know **

They are now done eating lunch and I have finished washing the dishes now preparing for dinner

Then all of a sudden my phone rang and I picked it up "Hello" the caller said

"Helloo" "is this Flora Aubrey cole" "yes...who is speaking " "This is doctor Martin and your mother is under heart attack...come to the hospital now"

Whatt!! Mom...heart attack how...

And Tears started to flow so hard that I wasn't able to stop it "Hello are you there "

"Ye-s I will be there in a few minutes " and he hung up then I quickly ran out but taking some dollars with me

I went out but to be stopped by one guard "Ma'am where are you going "

"Please I need to leave right away please " i said with tears flowing in my eyes

"No..sir said no one should leave without his consent " "please I want to leave now it is important "

"Unless you inform sir" "please  "  "what I can do for you is bring you to Mr Nicholeson's company "

I had no choice but accept "Okay " we quickly went into the car and went to Mr Nicholeson's office

After 30 minutes we reached his office and I quickly went in to the receptionist

"Can I see Mr Nicholeson" "Do you have an appointment Ma'am,   "

"No but please it is urgent please Ma'am " "no-" I didn't even bother to wait for her

I quickly went into the elevator and the receptionist ran inside quickly

"Ma'am,  " **ping** the elevator pinged and I quickly ran outside to his office

I then went to his office and opened the door to meet him in working furiously and he looked up to me

"Sir i tried to -" "It is okay you can leave " and she went outside "what is it"

"Sir i have an emergency...i need to go please " "Don't tell me you left my daughter all alone "

"Sir there are quards- " "So what of there are quards...did I tell you I trust those guards with my child "

"No sir...sir please I have an em-" "So what...if you don't leave my sight in the next five minutes and go to my daughter...start looking for another job"

"Sir plea-se" I stuttered with tears flowing down my eyes "1" "please si-r "

"2"..."Sir please it is importa-" "3" "sir-" "4".....and I quickly wiped my tears before leaving and going back home

I went home to meet danny and aria sleeping peacefully on the couch

I then went to the kitchen and was worrying about my mother

I am now staring in space. ...nothing seems to work out in my life

I am trying so hard to make things normal in my life like before but i just can't

Everything in my life is a mess...absolutely everything...

Mom please just hold on where ever you are mom please....don't leave just yet please

Hold on just a little longer for my sake please...you and aria are the only family I have now

Mom please....hold on just a littler longer please...I cried my heart out

Mom please just don't leave yet...i said this and cried out till my eyes were bloodshot and my face was puffy

I then started making dinner >>>

I am done making dinner but my heart is not here and guess what Mr Nicholeson is home

I served them dinner quietly and took aria for us to leave..I was now going

"Flo..bye..why are this quiet" "Bye..nothing " and I quietly went out to take a bus to the hospital

As my foot landed outside I started running to take a bus to the hospital

I quickly went to the hospital into mom's room to meet no one there

She was not there anymore to smile to me then I quickly went to the doctor

"Doctor where is my mum" I said with tears brimming in my eyes

"Good evening flora" "doctor where is my mother " And he signed looking down

"I'm sorry we lost her " and everything that he said next was not entering

My mother is gone

No it can't be...maybe he was just pranking me "Doctor your are joking right "

I said looking in his eyes to find any trace of joke but when I saw nothing I broke down crying

"Doctor no,..it can't be true" I said in between my tears "I'm sorry we tried all that we could but we could not save her"

"Im sorry" he tapped my shoulder before he went out and I lost all my control

Mom you promised that you will fight

Mom I tried all that I could but I was not able to save you....I'm sorry

I tried mom ,i tried all my best...I cried my heart out for about two hours before I heard my phone ring

And it was Mr Nicholeson

What is he calling me for

"Hello" I said in my hoarse voice "yes...you have forgotten something...come pick it up"

"Yes sir" I said with my hoarse voice...I then gathered my self and aria before going to Mr Nicholeson

In the next 30 minutes I reached the villa and I went in with my eyes bloodshot and my face puffy

My hair was all over the place...I know I look like a mess and I totally don't care

I saw dana watching TV. ."Danny where is daddy" "Hey...he is upstairs in his home office...are you okay"

She looked at me with sad eyes "Yes I'm am " and I have her a forced smile and went upstairs to him

I knocked the door "Come in" he said in his husky voice..I then went in

"Yes sir " " you forgot your paycheck "

Ohhh

Why do I even need it...the one I wanted it for is gone

He removed a check...wrote down the figure and gave it to to me

I went to him to take the check and while I was taking it our hands contacted and I felt light sparkles but I ignored

"Thank you sir " "yes "...and as I wanted to go "Miss cole" "yes sir "

"Why were you crying " and he stood up coming close to me "Sir i was not-"

"Don't lie to me...I'm not dumb...why were you crying " "Sir...I lost my mother today "

And it fell silence all over the room "I'm sorry...was that why you went to me in the office "

Wait !!did Mr Nicholeson just said sorry

And I slowly nodd "im sorry about that " And I nodd and again he Said sorry

"Leave everything to me for the funeral..I will take care of it" "Sir i- I will take care-"

"I insist..I will do everything " "Okay sir...Thank you " "You can stay here for the night...it is already late "

And that was when I realized it was past 11 pm "sir i will manage-"

"You expect me to leave this innocent soul with you at this time of the night "

"No sir..I don't have anything here for her and also for umm m-e"

"You can use Dana's clothes for aria but you brought another clothes for you right"

"Yes I have extras " "Okay then...you can use the guest room...just a sec"

"Dana" he called her once with his ocean deep voice and she answered "yes daddy"

About 5 minutes later she came upstairs "yes daddy"

"Would you mind aria sleeping with you tonight " and her eyes glittered up with excitement and happiness

"No daddy" she happily said "well we have answer now don't we"

"You can stay in the guest room in the second floor by the left " "ok thank you sir "

And he nodd before I left to leave aria in Dana's room and so I did but I bath both of them before putting them to sleep

I read for them bedtime story and before I winked they were both asleep

So I went to my guest room and to be honest it is really beautiful

I then showered before going to sleep but cried my heart out first before sleeping ***
