Hidden Obsession

Leo forced himself to focus on the mundane task of brewing coffee, trying to drown out the echoes of Adrian's touch from his mind. The aroma filled the air, a stark contrast to the lingering scent of sex that still clung to his skin. His phone buzzed, and he jumped, expecting another cryptic message from Adrian, but it was just a reminder of his interview. He gulped down the hot liquid, feeling it burn a path down his throat, and tried to steady his nerves. After a quick shower, he dressed in his sharpest suit, hoping to exude confidence he didn't feel. The interview was a blur of nods and forced smiles, his thoughts never straying far from the mysterious figure who had invaded his life so intimately. When it was over, he received a congratulatory text from his boss, inviting him to a celebratory party that evening. The alcohol flowed freely, and the atmosphere was electric with the success of their latest venture. One handsome actor after another flitted by, but it was the intensity in the eyes of the mysterious newcomer, Marcus, that made Leo's pulse race. The whiskey had gone to his head, and in a moment of reckless abandon, he found himself agreeing to leave the party with Marcus, a decision that would only add to the tumultuous cocktail of emotions and secrets already churning within him. Leo's heart pounded in his chest as he stumbled into his apartment with Marcus, the weight of his actions pressing down on him like an invisible burden. The walls, usually filled with the warm whispers of past memories, now felt suffocating, as if they were in on the secret that could shatter the delicate balance of his life. Marcus, seemingly unfazed by the gravity of the situation, pulled him closer, the scent of his cologne mingling with the faint trace of whiskey on his breath. As they moved towards the bedroom, Leo's eyes darted around the room, seeking solace in the familiarity of his surroundings, but all he found were echoes of Adrian's touch. Despite his inebriated state, he knew he was playing with fire, but the allure of the flame was too tempting to resist. He allowed himself to be consumed by the moment, the passionate embrace a temporary salve for the wounds that had been festering since Adrian had entered his world. Yet, as the night unfolded, Leo couldn't ignore the looming shadow of his secret, and the fear that it might soon be exposed grew louder than the sound of their muffled moans.

Leo awoke to the harsh glare of morning sunlight piercing through the blinds, his head pounding in sync with the guilt that had crept in alongside the dawn. Marcus was nowhere to be seen, the bed beside him cold and empty, save for the lingering scent of their shared passion that clung to the sheets like a stubborn ghost. The quiet hum of the apartment was suddenly shattered by the sound of the front door opening and closing, followed by the unmistakable footsteps of Adrian approaching the bedroom. Leo's heart skipped a beat as he sat up, the weight of his secret threatening to crush him. When Adrian appeared in the doorway, his eyes were stormy, his usually stoic expression twisted with a mix of anger and disappointment. It had been years since Leo had seen Adrian this close, and the stark contrast between the man he had met all those years ago and the one standing before him was undeniable. Time had etched lines around Adrian's eyes and mouth, a testament to the battles he had fought and the pain he had endured. Yet, it was the fiery intensity in his gaze that held Leo captive, a stark reminder of the love they had once shared and the promise he had so carelessly betrayed.

"So... Sleeping around now are we?" Adrian said glaring over at Leo as he walked closer to him

"That fucker marked you too hmm?" Adrian said even more enraged as he saw the hickey on Leo's neck.

Leo's mind raced as he stumbled over his words, trying to form a coherent explanation. "Adrian, I-I can explain," he began, his voice trembling as he searched for the right words to justify his actions. But before he could utter another syllable, Adrian's hand shot out, gripping his chin firmly and tilting his face upwards. The anger in Adrian's eyes was palpable, and for a moment, Leo feared the worst. "What is there to explain?" Adrian spat, his voice a deadly whisper. "You've been playing a dangerous game, Leo, and it's time you realized the consequences." With a sudden jolt of clarity, Leo knew that the facade he had so meticulously constructed was about to come crumbling down, and the only thing he could do was brace for the impact.

Ignoring Leo's sputtered protests, Adrian leaned in, his teeth grazing the soft skin of Leo's neck. His jaw clenched as he bit down, leaving a dark, angry mark. "Does that feel better?" he sneered, his voice laced with sarcasm. He yanked Leo's shirt collar aside, exposing more flesh to his hungry gaze. His eyes narrowed as he took in the fading bruises that whispered of Marcus's touch. "I'm sure he didn't leave you feeling like this," Adrian murmured, his voice thick with rage and jealousy as he claimed Leo's mouth in a punishing kiss. His hands roamed, tearing at the fabric that separated them. He shoved Leo against the cold, hard wall, the force of his body pushing the air from Leo's lungs. "Tell me, Leo," he breathed against his ear, his voice a seductive challenge, "are you going to let me do it better than him?" His hips ground into Leo's, his hardness unmistakable, as his mouth continued to leave a trail of bruises along his neck. The room spun around them, a whirlwind of passion and rage, as Adrian's actions grew more desperate, more demanding. The line between love and anger blurred into something fierce and possessive. "Do you like it when I'm rough with you?" he rasped, his hands fisting in Leo's hair, pulling him back to expose his throat further. "Does it make you forget him?" Each question was a punch to the gut, each touch a brand on Leo's soul, marking him as Adrian's own. And as Adrian pushed into him, driving him into the wall with every punishing thrust, Leo couldn't help but wonder if this was truly punishment, or if it was something else entirely. Something darker, something deeper, that neither of them could ever truly escape from.
