At the end of the last part of the story you read...Vatsala drinks water from the jug kept on the table in the room, pours water into the glass and then says, "Papa, I am in love with my colleague, a boy named Lalit and want to marry him.".....  Now onwards.......Vatsala's father gets shaken from within after hearing this from Vatsala, at least he did not expect this from Vatsala.  But his argument for marriage this evening had raised doubts about Vatsala in his mind. Vatsala's father left after making her aware of some possibilities and truths of life. Vatsala's mind gets disturbed, she thinks that as soon as she reaches office tomorrow morning, she will tell Lalit about what happened to Papa and decide the day, time and place to meet Papa. Vatsala's father comes to his room, Vatsala's mother was already asleep.  They start thinking about Vatsala, will Vatsala's choice live up to his wishes or will he be deceived? He says in his mind, "Being a father, I have to judge Vatsala's choices, I have to meet Lalit and know about him and his family? Because, if Vatsala's life gets ruined tomorrow, then he will have to face sorrows."  A mountain of money will collapse, but the parents will be hurt more by the loss of their daughter." Thinking all this, Vatsala's father suddenly falls asleep. Here, in Chandni Chowk Lalit's house. Next day in the morning, Geeta wakes up and starts her daily routine. Lalit had to go to office today, so she starts preparing breakfast and tiffin for the office lunch.  Rimjhim was still sleeping, she keeps sleeping till 8:00, 8:30, it was 7:30 now. Geeta was completing her work while remembering the conversation with Lalit at night.  She smiles remembering Lalit's words about having a second child, and remembers that from today onwards she will not have to take birth control pills. After some time, she comes to her room and takes out the birth control pills from her bag, which were kept in the bag while going to her parents' house.
