Chapter 17
My Husband Is A Secret Billionaire By Wiuu
Chapter 17
Jane was stunned and suddenly had a bad feeling.
She looked in the direction of the voice and saw that it was Ava Zeller. She had not changed much and
still had a haughty look on her face. The way she looked at Jane was still full of hostility.
It was no secret that Ava liked Adam.
Adam turned around and accepted Ava when he couldnât catch up with Jane, which also became a
thorn in her heart.
âOh, Iâve been sitting in your office for a while.â Ava walked to Adam and deliberately took his armı. âI
was wondering why you didnât come. It turns out that you were chatting happily with Jane here! Did I
disturb you?â
Adamâs face was a little ugly, and he gently pushed Avaâs hand away from Jane.
âWhatâs wrong?â Ava pulled her up again and tightened her grip. âThe whole company knows about us!
Whatâs there to hide from Jane?â
âMs. Zeller, youâve misunderstood.â Jane smiled awkwardly. âIt was a department meeting just now. Iâm
new here, and Mr. Frank specially asked me to stay because he wants me to deal with some important
things so that I can integrate into the group as soon as possible.â
âOh?â Ava gave her a sidelong glance. âYou have a lot of things to learn, especially in terms of
interpersonal relationships. The sales department is a vital department of the company. A good
marketing department needs to compete in sales skills and social interactions!
âFor example, donât take credit for others. Itâs useless.â
Jane could tell she was warning her not to covet what did not belong to her in the company.
This was especially true for men.
Jane lowered her head and chuckled.
âMs. Zeller, donât worry. Iâll study hard.â She looked at her. âIf you have any questions in the future, Iâll
ask you more!â
âYouâre Adamâs subordinate. I am not sure if I am qualified to teach you anything.
Ava glanced at her and curled her lips.
Just now, she said those harsh words deliberately to annoy Jane. Unexpectedly, this girl didnât listen to
her at all. So she was miserable.
Adam quickly pulled Ava away, and Jane heaved a sigh of relief.
She came to work to make money. Sheâd better avoid conflict with others.
She could understand Avaâs hostility towards her, but she thought that if she were careful at work and
could not find fault with her, she would naturally not make trouble for her.
However, she was still too naive.
Since Ava found out she had entered Adamâs department, she would come here every few days.
On the surface, they were discussing work, but she came to monitor Adam.
She would find some menial jobs for her.
Chapter 17
For example, she would ask Jane to run errands, repair the printer, and even water the plants in the
company.
Some colleagues defended Jane and whispered, âIsnât there a cleaner in the company? Why does she
ask our sales department staff to water the flowersâ¦â
âShh, keep your voice down! Donât you know that her uncle is a shareholder in the company?â
All of a sudden, there was no movement in the office. Everyone looked at Jane with sympathy. Some
sighed, and some shook their heads.
It was not good for Jane to make enemies as soon as she arrived at the company.
Moreover, for sales department members, the number of contracts was directly related to the salary.
Jane, who hadnât signed a single order for a month, naturally became a bad example for the regular
meeting.
