Jane’s smile suddenly froze. She was a bit

upset.

Kate was right. Marriage was a lifetime thing. Jane got married without thinking, and she hadn’t even

had a proper relationship with him. Wasn’t she betting her happiness on it?

Jane pursed her lips and said into the phone with a chuckle, “How come? In fact, I have to thank Dan.

If he hadn’t married me, I wouldn’t have been able to get a 50,000-dollar dowry!”

As long as her mother recovered and her siblings could study hard and live a peaceful life, she would

be happy.

“Well, I need to hang up now!” Jane was in a hurry to get off the phone. “I came back to get the money

She wondered how life had been for Jane these days.

She couldn’t help but be secretly delighted at the thought that Jane married a poor man with nothing. a

well-known hooligan.

Since she was a child, she seemed to be inferior to Jane in everything.

Even though Jane would wear her old clothes, some people still praised her for being beautiful.

Jane suddenly looked up at her.

Fiona’s heart tightened. In her impression, Jane was always obedient and didn’t fight back. But today,

Jane took a deep breath, stared at Fiona, and said clearly, “Although my husband has some
