CH 10
Dressed as a Stand-in for the White Moonlight
The Lin familyâs villa was not far from A University. And by the time that Su Yuli and the others got home, the food was ready.
Su Yuli washed his hands and sat down. While beckoning Yang Shuo to sit down for dinner, Su Yuli said, âIâm really starving.â
âIf youâre hungry then eat quickly. There arenât any outsiders here and there arenât so many rules.â He said to Yang Shuo, âThereâs no need to be so reserved.â
Yang Shuo had a stiff face. Su Yuli had already taken the soup bowl that Lin Suiyan handed over, and lowered his head to drink.
After Su Yuli had finished drinking half a bowl of the appetizing soup, Lin Suiyan had already piled the plate in front of him up into a hill of vegetables.
Yang Shuo looked at Lin Suiyanâs actions with a complicated expression. He has known Wen Jin for many years, and he naturally knows Wen Jinâs taste. The  dishes Lin Suiyan chooses are all Wen Jinâs favorites.
Yang Shuo thought of the conversation between Lin Suiyan and Su Yuli that he had overheard in the alley.
At that time, Lin Suiyan didnât know that he was nearby, so there would be no acting. Judging from their conversation, Lin Suiyan was very fond of Su Yuli.
Is it true that heâs biased? Is the reason why he hates Lin Suiyan because he feels like he stole his best friend?
After all, before Lin Suiyan appeared, he and Wen Jin had always been inseparable. Yang Shuo squeezed his chopsticks and fell into deep thought.
Su Yuli wasnât a picky eater. He could eat anything. So when Lin Suiyan served him vegetables, he felt disdain in his heart but ate all the vegetables in a sweet manner.
Anyway, Lin Suiyan used the public chopsticks. It was his business that he was willing to act in front of others. At least it saved him the effort of getting the food himself.
Su Yuli glanced out of the corner of his eyes and saw Lin Suiyan, put the chopsticks aside. Then he picked up a spoon, and drank the soup without any fireworks.
Su Yuli glanced at him and thought to himself that the surnamed Linâs hygiene habits were not bad. Even though theyâre husbands he still remembered to use the public chopsticks. Really worthy of praise.
Unavoidably Lin Suiyan noticed, Su Yuli glanced at him twice. He turned his gaze away, and suddenly met Yang Shuoâs eyes, who was sitting across from him.
Su Yuli blinked, then smiled at Yang Shuo: â Brother Shuo, why arenât you eating? Donât be polite, just treat this place as your own home.â
Lin Suiyan also put down his spoon and looked over after hearing this: âIs the food not to your taste? Sorry, I forgot to ask Xiao Jin what your likes and dislikes were.â
Su Yuli got up and said, âIâll ask them do it again.â
Would Lin Suiyan care whether a stand-in will be scratched by glass shards? What a joke!
Lin Suiyan looked gentle and affectionate. But Su Yuli, who had opened his âthird eyeâ, knew how cold and ruthless he was. Apart from the sick Old Master Lin, the only one who could make Lin Suiyan care was Luo Xing.
Lin Suiyan quickly cleaned up the debris. When he got up, he saw that Su Yuli was still standing there. He couldnât help laughing: âWhy are you still standing here? Isnât it uncomfortable to have wet clothes sticking to your body?â
As he spoke he walked behind Su Yuli and threw away the glass fragments wrapped in paper towels into the trash can.
When Su Yuli came back to his senses, he heard another male voice beside him: âXiao Jin, go and change your clothes. If youâre not careful youâll catch a cold.â
It was Yang Shuoâs voice.
Su Yuli looked at Yang Shuo, and then at Lin Suiyan and his eyes suddenly lit up. How could he forget that there was another person here.
Su Yuli figured out the reason why Lin Suiyan cared about him. He couldnât help cursing in his heart. He really knew how to act! So natural, just like the real thing.
Almost got scammed!
Su Yuli glared at Lin Suiyan angrily. The he turned his head and went upstairs to change his clothes.
When Su Yuli and Yang Shuo arrived at the classroom that afternoon there were already some people there. They were gathered together in twos and threes, and were talking about something. They seemed to be in full swing.
When several girls saw Su Yuli coming in, they invited him over, âWen Jin, you are here, come and sit here.â
Su Yuli knew that they had something to say when he saw their expressions. Su Yuli stepped forward and smiled: âWhat are you talking about? Itâs so lively.â
A girl lowered her voice and said, âWen Jin, did you see Zhao Yu when you came?â
Su Yuli shook his head. Zhao Yu was different from a good student like Wen Jin. Zhao Yu often skipped class, and sometimes it was normal not to see him for most of the month.
Su Yuli said, âWhat happened to Zhao Yu?â â
While speaking, he saw several figures coming in through the door.
The person walking in front was wearing a duck billed cap but Su Yuli still recognized him by his body shape. That person was Zhao Yu. Zhao Yu picked a spot at random and sat down, and his two younger brothers naturally dutifully surrounded him.
Although Zhao Yu lowered his head, Su Yuli was sharp-eyed and found that his face was injured, and it was very colorful.
Su Yuli gave a âwowâ in his heart and asked, âWho was he beaten by?â
The girl sitting on Su Yuliâs left side snickered, âHe was beaten by his father.â
Su Yuli had originally thought that Zhao Yu had caused some trouble. He didnât expect that he was was beaten by his own father. He remembered that it was mentioned in the book âSubstituteâ that Zhao Yuâs father was an honest and serious person, and he was very capable. Zhaoâs father was always busy, and Zhao Yuâs affairs were handled by his mother.
Zhao Yu was the only son in the family, and his mother spoiled him. From junior high school, Zhao Yuâs troubles at school were solved by his mother. The two of them both covered up his problems, and they didnât let Father Zhao find out that Zhao Yu was a troublemaker.
It was only after Zhao Yu got into a big disaster and Lin Suiyan came forward, that  Zhaoâs mother couldnât handle it alone. Only then did his father know the true face of his son.
The girl sitting in front of Su Yuli said, âWen Jin, Zhao Yu took you away, are you alright?â
Su Yuli curved his eyes and smiled, âIâm fine, thank you.â
The girl looked at where  Zhao Yuâs was sitting and said, âZhao Yu is always making trouble. His family should have taken care of it a long time ago.
âIf they had taken care of it earlier, it wouldnât be like this. â Another person said: âI think Zhao Yuâs father is very fierce. In the middle of the day, he went straight to his house and scared Zhao Yu so much that his face turned white. I hope he can be honest in the future. â
After a pause, he added: âI donât want anyone to know that he is in our class at all. Itâs embarrassing.â
Mother Zhao spoiled her son and bought a property for Zhao Yu near University A, where Zhao Yu lived. Unexpectedly, Father Zhao came directly at noon. This action was quite fast.
Yang Shuo opened his book and whispered: âLin Suiyanâ
âLin scum ⦠er ⦠husband?â Su Yuli was surprised and almost blurted out âLin Scumbagâ, but he caught himself in time.
Yang Shuoâs face was hard to describe. He glared at Su Yuli for a while before saying, âI know you guys have a good relationship. Can you calm down in front of me, a single dog? Go home if you want to call out husband.â
Su Yuli would only call him husband when he had something to say to him. He didnât want to call the scumbag this in front of people. It was too shameful. He just called him this because it was an emergency and he couldnât help but say it.
Su Yuli shyly made an OK gesture, and put his palms on his cheeks. They felt a little hot. He didnât notice that when Yang Shuo mentioned Lin Suiyan this time, the disgusting tone he used to have disappeared.
The teaching style of University A is rigorous, and most of the students admitted here have strong self-discipline ability. This close to class starting nearly everyone was there.
As soon as Su Yuli opened his book, he saw Zhao Yu walking over in a murderous manner. Yang Shuo felt it for the first time, and stared at Zhao Yu coldly.
The matter of Zhao Yu forcibly taking Su Yuli away at noon was spread around in the school forum. By this time, everyone knew about it.
The students in the classroom also paid close attention to the movements of Su Yuli and Zhao Yu, and when they saw Zhao Yu get up, their eyes all turned to them.
After Zhao Yu apologized, he left with a bad face. He didnât leave the classroom, but took a book from his younger brother and threw it on the table with such force that he was afraid that the book would be torn apart.
Su Yuli: ââ¦â
Not only was Su Yuli stunned, but other people in the classroom were also a little surprised. With Zhao Yuâs temper he had actually apologized in front of so many people. The sun really rising from the west.
For a while, there were constant whispers in the classroom.
Su Yuli spun his pen, and his eyes fell on Zhao Yu from time to time.
Zhao Yu was able to apologize to him, and it seemed that Lin Suiyan was indeed the one who contacted Zhaoâs father. Su Yuli remembered that when he was pouring the water at noon, he did hear Lin Suiyan calling someone and saying, âMr. Zhao.â
Tsk, the bully wants to clean up people without doing anything with loud methods, but secretly makes small moves.
Itâs so ungraceful.
Su Yuli completely forgot how he praised Yang Shuo just now. It was really a double standard.
However, as much as Su Yuli complained, he had to admit that this was indeed a smart move. Compared to doing it yourself, a phone call only takes a few minutes, saving time and effort. In the future, with the constraints of his father, Zhao Yu will not be able to make trouble.
It can be said that Lin Suiyanâs phone call killed the bar incident in the cradle.
After solving a future trouble easily, Su Yuli was in a good mood. But he always felt as if there was something strange, that he couldnât remember right then.
The teacher came in soon and Su Yuli sat up straight and listened carefully to the class.
Halfway through the class, Su Yuli suddenly reacted. He talked with Zhao Yu about this matter carefully. Didnât he get into trouble with his classmates when he was a child, and the parents of both sides got in touch and discussed how to solve it in private?
In the end, whoever causes trouble first will be punished, and whoever causes trouble first will apologize.
Tsk, the more he thought about it, the more like, no, it was.
Su Yuliâs face sank and he felt offended.
