Trip Time: Her Beta Chapter 13

Chapter 13:

"Okay, the two of you need to stay safe and take care of each other. So as you travel to the other pack, you need to stay together. You also have to..." Audra spoke worriedly as she unconsciously fiddled with the zipper of her coat before Vane rolled his eyes and kissed her squarely on her lips to get her to stop rambling. It worked to calm her down even. I watched with a smile as her shoulders dropped down to a relaxed state.

Oliver tightened his arm around my waist as we both smiled at the soon-to-be parents standing in front of us. When they both pulled away from the kiss, Oliver smiled and nodded his head in acknowledgement of Audra's words. We waved before walking down the steps of the pack house porch chuckling lightly about Vane's simple way of quieting and calming Audra. But her worrying was appreciated, and it just proved how well she was going to do when she finally had the baby.

Oliver and I continued to walk through the firm snow silently. Oliver lightly touched the back of my hand as we continued to walk. I smiled as the light electricity continued to dance where his feather touch had been. He touched my hand again as we continued to walk before he softly and slowly slid his hand into mine. I laughed lightly at his antics. I turned to look at him with a smile only to find him already smiling down at me.

I looked away as my cheeks reddened in happiness. "The border of our land is in a few feet. We'll be shifting and running as wolves from there on." Oliver instructed as I just nodded my head in acknowledgement. Oliver's hand squeezed mine for a second making me smile even more. "I like when you blush; it makes you look even more adorable." Oliver said as his lips moved against my head before he kissed it.

Upon reaching the border, Oliver and I put down our bags and began to strip off our coats. We both began to shiver as we removed our layers and packed them into the bags until we were in our underwear only. Our boots went into two plastic bags to make sure that nothing else would get wet. Oliver and I shifted the straps of our bags to fit over our backs as wolves and put them back on. Oliver looked me up and down as we slightly shivered in only our underwear. "I feel like you just wore that underwear to tease me." Oliver said with a playful scowl.

"I wore this underwear because I'm trying to get lucky tonight." I said with a smile and serious tone. Oliver laughed at my comment and looked at me. I just smiled back at him. "Who says I'm kidding?" I asked seriously before shifting into my fluffy white and gray wolf. Oliver's eyes were wide as his mouth hung open at my serious response before a look of desire took its place and he licked his bottom lip and smiled at me with a chuckle. I watched as Oliver shifted effortlessly into his black and gray wolf in front of me.

I playfully walked up to him and rubbed my side down his as I walked around him. I made sure to flick my tail into his nose as I circled him. He huffed from the tickle upon his nose, but turned his head to watch me as I circled around the other side of him. I repeated the same action of rubbing my side against his before I pushed my head underneath his affectionately. I could feel the growl of approval against my side from him. I moved my head and kissed him along his muzzle before nudging my head against him again.

He moved his head against me in return before he bumped my backend with his to tell me to start moving. I gave him a wolfy grin and began walking alongside him. I let him lead since I wasn't sure where exactly it was that we were going, and I just wanted to watch his wolfy ass. He glanced back at me every so often to make sure that I was still with him. I playfully bit his tail causing him to immediately turn around and growl. I returned the growl with my own; he huffed before nipping me lightly on the ear. He grabbed onto one of my bag straps lightly with his teeth and pulled me up.

"Please don't bite my tail again, Lili. I like glancing back at you to not only to make sure you're still with me, but also to look at your beautiful wolf form and your perfect eyes. Now come and walk up beside me; I like when you and I walk side-by-side. That way I can rub against you and you can rub against me to share our scents even further." Oliver spoke through the mind link that we had created upon marking each other a while ago.

"I was trying to save you the trouble of glancing back all the time. I was afraid you might run into something if you continued." I responded back as I walked up beside him. I nudged my head against him affectionately before he did the same to me. "You should know that you have amazing butt though. Besides, I think I smell enough like you; you did make me wear your clothes this morning and made me promise to wear your shirts to bed while we're away." I spoke again through the link.

Oliver gave me a wolfy grin along with an approving growl to my words. I shook my furry gray and white head at him before we began to walk again. We just trotted slowly for a little while since neither of us cared about arriving anytime soon and we were comfortable just walking side-by-side in silence. Oliver and I would occasionally rub up against each other to feel the electric sparks that would shoot between us and keep us from being bored.

When we began to approach the pack's border, we slowed down and sniffed around. We sat at the border and watched as someone walked over to us. The stature of the wolf suggested that he was the Beta of the pack. We watched as he assessed us before dipping his lightly in acknowledgement as we did the same in return. He moved his head to signal us to follow him before walking off in the direction he'd come from. We followed him until we reached a massive pack house that was roughly the size of Vane and Oliver's back in Onyx Pack.

We walked into the foyer where the Beta pointed us to a room to shift back and dress. Oliver and I quickly shifted and dressed before walking back out with our stuff to see the Beta waiting for us. "I'm Jacob Calderon, Beta of Obsidian. Welcome Beta Oliver." He spoke with a smile. Oliver smiled back with a nod. I stood looking between the two when I smelt something.

I pushed it away from my thoughts when the Beta began to show us to our room of residence, on the second floor, for the time being. Jacob explained that we had free reign and that if we wished to meet or speak with the alpha, then he would be in his office up one level and the second door on the right near the main stairs. He proceeded to say good bye and left us to ourselves. We put our stuff in the drawers provided to us before I jumped onto the comfortable bed provided to us. Oliver chuckled at my antics.

"It feels weird to be in a different pack. Truth be told, I've never actually left Onyx territory before. It was always Vane that went with our father when they traveled to other packs to speak with the alphas. I always stayed with my mother because my dad never believed I was old enough. When I was, he had meetings with the alphas in our pack since he'd always been to travel to them before." Oliver spoke looking at nothing in particular.

"Well it's not as odd as how I feel." I spoke catching Oliver's attention immediately. He gave me a curious look in return. I sighed as I looked down for a second with a scowl before looking back up at him. "I feel odd because I feel so comfortable here. I feel as if this is my home, and I've lived here my whole life. It just doesn't make any sense." I shrugged in confusion.

Oliver moved to the other side of the bed and slowly climbed onto it. He looked deep in thought about what I'd said. He didn't seem to understand it any better than I did. He sighed and looked at me with a small smile. I watched as he kicked his shoes of and laid down on the bed. He was laying on his back with his muscular arms bent to lay under his head. His ankles were crossed left over right, and his blue eyes were closed as he breathed slowly.

I just sat and watched him as he slowly began to relax. I quickly removed my boots that had dried on our way here and my warm, fluffy socks from my feet. I sighed softly before moving closer to Oliver. He didn't move at all to acknowledge that I was near him, but the way he breathed more deeply showed that he knew I was. I slowly and carefully put my leg over his waist.

Oliver's eyes still didn't open. I sat straddling him as my hands slowly moved up his chest to his shoulders. I slowly leaned down moving my hair to one side as I slowly kissed Oliver's lips. Oliver's arms immediately moved to hold me around the waist as he immediately reacted to my kiss. It was pure electricity as we continued to kiss. The kiss began to deepen as Oliver's hands slowly moved underneath his sweatshirt I was currently wearing. He slowly pulled it up and over my head, barely breaking the kiss.

I did the same with him before further deepening the kiss. I pulled away and sat up slightly watching Oliver as he watched me carefully. I slowly lifted my shirt over my head just to torture him. He responded by running his hands up and down my sides. I just straddled him as we watched each other. I slowly ran my hands back up his chest and neck to his cheeks. I just held his face and looked into his eyes. After mere moments, he pulled my head down to him and kissed me deeply.

I slowly ran my hands down to his button up shirt and began to fumble with the buttons to get them to open. After a good few tries to get the stupid things to open up, I got frustrated and just began pulling the two sides of the shirt apart and breaking the buttons in the process. Oliver pushed up so that we were both sitting upright as he tried to help me remove his shirt quickly. Once we'd finally gotten it off, laughing lightly in the process of it getting stuck, it was thrown somewhere across the room carelessly.

I began to kiss Oliver even harder than before. He immediately responded just as much to me. Within seconds I was laying on my back with Oliver laying above me as he kept most of his weight off of me. He looked down into my eyes curiously. "Are you sure that you want to do this? I'm not going to push you, Lilith. Goddess knows that I want to keep going, but I'm not going to if you're not comfortable with it." Oliver spoke breathlessly.

I could tell how serious he was, but I knew that I wanted this. I had wanted this for a while, but I had never felt like it was the right time or there was no time. I looked up into Oliver's perfect blue eyes and lightly ran my hand across his cheek. He immediately closed his eyes and leaned into my hand. I smiled. "Oliver, I'm sure. I've been thinking about this for a while. I want this; I want you. I want to ensure that nothing will ever separate us, and that I love you more than I ever thought was possible. I'm sure." I spoke with confidence as I looked into his eyes with a smile.

"Perfect." He whispered before kissing me passionately again. I smiled into the kiss and unbuttoned his jeans quickly. He moved his hands fluidly down to the buttons of my jeans and undid them. He pulled them down my thighs slowly just to tease me before I finished removing them by kicking them off quickly. He moved his hand down my leg toward my waist when our door suddenly burst open. We immediately split apart to see who it was.

"Mom?!" I shrieked in surprise.

The song above is Revolution by Diplo. I like the song and I thought I would include it in this chapter for the fun of it. I liked this chapter, especially how it ended. I know, I know, I have left you all on a cliffhanger! But I really wanted all my readers to imagine what could happen next as that is one of my favorite things to do as a reader. I'm sorry I have left you on a cliffhanger if you don't like them.
